Fantastic experience: Trusted King Transportation Drivers University is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! I will give this school a 10 out of 10…. After receiving my CLASS A CDL license with NO RESTRICTIONS I felt fantastic within!!! It was a major accomplishment for me!!! I had never driven a 10 speed manual transmission before, however, TKT has a teaching mechanism that guarantee you will be able to properly shift and double clutch sooner than you know!!!! The owner/founder of TKT (Johnny) is polite, humble, respectful, kind and courteous… He’s willing to help you out as much as possible!!!! The INSTRUCTORS at TKT are Top Tier!!!! If you choose TKT you will definitely become a CDL HOLDER, like myself!!!! Dee is patient yet stern, which I appreciated! Kind, respectful, considerate, understanding, and he taught me how to operate and maneuver a 10 speed manual transmission carrying a 53 ft and 48 ft trailer!!!! Tay taught me the skills I needed to learn to pass the DMV exam!!!! He’s also patient, kind, respectful& generous…. THEY ALL KNOW THEIR NICHE!!!!!!! They want to see you win FR!!!! Mrs Tameeka is a sweetheart… She’s gonna help you get through the doors and you’re gonna enjoy the process from there!!!! It was all love!!!! Fantastic experience: I passed my CDL test on the first attempt with the training I received from Trusted King Transportation today, and I have never driven or backed up anything with any type of trailor in my life. I'm middle aged according to man's standards just to put that into perspective. Everyone I interacted with at TKT was cordial, competent, and cared about my success. I drove about 180 miles round trip everday for 5 and a half weeks to go there. TKT was worth every mile driven and every dollar spent. Also, the tuition is more than fair when compared to any trucking school in the state espescially for the value you will receive. Long live the King!

Fantastic experience: TKT is by far the best of the best. When I first enrolled I knew I was going to receive the best training ever. I was RIGHT. Walked in as a stranger wanting my CDL, came out as Family! I love everything about TKT. From the office staff Rochelle and Tameka they were always there to answer all my questions and always there when i needed them. Mr. Johnny and Ryan are the best driving instructors ever. I was given top Driving Service, Ryan and Johnny are like Driving Gurus they not only teach you how to drive and maneuver safely on the road, they actually teach you THE WHY they educate you on the Trucks they have. TKT have really good up to date trucks. So the question is what are you waiting for go and give Rochelle a call so that you can start your career as a Professional driver that will not only earn your CDL, but you will also receive a Certification of Completion in Hazardous Material Training.

Really solid guys here, who care about you and not just treat you as a number. There were students driving 2+ hours and I drove 1.5 hours daily each way. Worth every bit. 10/10 recommend

Fantastic experience: I don’t know where to begin! I spent 4+ months at another CDL school and couldn’t get my license do to faulty equipment and inadequate training and wanted to GIVE UP then I met RYAN and he assured me I will leave with a license if I “TRUSTED” him and his methods. (The answer is in the name of the school ‍♂️.) Boom 3 weeks from START-FINISH I completed, and when I tell you, I left with more than just a License that would be a severe understatement. I not only got my License but a FULLY LOADED one UNRESTRICTED : Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles & Triples in a MANUAL!!! -A FAMILY -MEMORIES -A MENTOR IF YOU OPT TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE YOUR WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Fantastic experience: I will start off by saying “BEST” truck training school in Columbia SC. From day one walking into class , staff and instructors felt like family. ALL Instructors are full of knowledge of trucking and are very helpful and patient. They WONT let u fail. Instructors are very patient and informational. I couldn’t thank them enough. The School itself is very clean and organized . Staff is very flexible with working around one’s work schedule. The instructor vs student ratio is managed very good allowing lots of 1 on 1 time to better get understanding when needed. Instructors are patient and take extra time out to make sure you as a student get a good grasp on things. There’s lots of hand on training provided daily from the truck to the trailer. Was able to obtain hazmat training and learned coupling and uncoupling. Instructors work around the clock when needed to help you get prepped for that special day of licensing. Special thanks to Ryan, Jervae, Demetrius , and Johnny. Awesome instructors. Also to Rochelle who got the initial process started. Couldn’t have chose a better school. Highly recommended to anyone looking to obtain and Class A NON restricted licensed.

Fantastic experience: This school is everything. When you first reach out and talk to Mrs.Rochelle the vibe she gives you have you trying to sign your paperwork through the phone. Your first day of class you know you made the right choice, you know you’re in the right place, and there are no regrets. Mr.Ryan, Mr.Johnny, and my boy Jervae they all have a certain skill to give. They’re very informative, very patient, very encouraging, and they understand that life has its obstacles and they have no problems working around your schedule. I am a recent grad that couldn’t drive a stick shift to save my life. I low key think I’m better then the instructors now (just don’t tell them I said that) lol. Fantastic experience: I started first of the year with one of the corporate CDL schools in Columbia and was very disappointed in the amount and quality of training offered. I failed their test (third person) due to minimal training and no assistance when I asked for it and ended up discouraged and disappointed in myself. TKT? Wow, what a difference. Students start a class and finish in 5 weeks with a wealth of knowledge and ability. Instead of new classes starting each week with the corporate schools, TKT trains students in a small class size for the duration. They provide more than adequate class instruction, driving time and backing maneuver training. I passed the CDL test on my first attempt at the SCDMV. If you are looking for a CDL school in the Midlands, there is NO OTHER school to consider if you want to pass first attempt. Ryan and Johnny will teach you, encourage you and treat you like family. 100 star rating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: They train drivers to park a bobtail in a fuel lane and let it sit for 20 minutes... blocking real working drivers who are trying to make a paycheck. Not sure if they are equipped to train the right concepts...

I went to another school and let’s just say that knowing what I know about Tractor trailers now, I realize that I left that school the same way that I was when I arrived at the school. I heard about Trusted Kings Drivers University through a previous student and decided to check it out. I had been previously denied by another school because I have a felony on my record, so I was nervous, but I spoke to the secretary and was immediately accepted, not judged, but welcomed. When I started classes, I felt overwhelmed with all the new information and thought that I would never catch on. Mr. Amous was so patient and they took their time to make sure that we all knew what we needed to know to get our Class A License. I just got my license today and received my Hazmat training as well! I am forever grateful to the staff and instructors at TKT… They are so kind and hardworking! I can’t express how much my life has changed in just 30 days!

Fantastic experience: I recently obtained my CDL class A & Hazardous Materials endorsement through TKT Drivers University. I researched several schools in the Columbia, SC metropolitan area & stumbled across this hidden gem of a school. TKT has only been open for a few years so I was very impressed with how professional & knowledgeable they were. TKT gave such a warm & friendly welcome & instantly I felt I was at home. 2022 for me was a year of growth & hard life lessons. I basically felt down & out with obtaining my CDL as a last option. My financial resources were limited so I was overwhelmed with excitement to learn that they work hand in hand with unemployment, WIOAA, & several other financial institutions to help pay for school. I can't say enough about Amous, Rochelle, & especially Ryan. They are all amazing people & go above & beyond what is required. Fantastic experience: TKT Drivers University is a amazing program. I attended the fast track class which was 21days. Amous and Ryan made sure that I was prepared for my test date. The knowledge, skills, and wisdom that I received in these past weeks have been nothing but inspiring for me to make amazing moves for me and my family. TKT also makes sure that no one is left behind. You can learn at your own pace and they will make sure that you get the full understanding of what you need to know. Fantastic experience: The best school for truck driving in the midlands. They work with busy adults and are with you the entire time from start until you pass your test. They prepare you for everything you need to know to get your license and the knowledge to take with you. Definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a class to obtain your cdl!

Fantastic experience: TKT Drivers University is the best CDL Driver training/ instruction school in South Carolina and the Southeast hands down!! I drove all the way from Savannah, GA to Columbia, SC to be trained by there instructors because they were referred to me from a friend. I’m glad I made that choice. TKT instructors know what they are doing when they train new truck drivers. Not only that, they teach you to drive a manual (stick shift/ 10 speed) with ease….. They really give you the tools to SUCCEED. I never thought I could drive a truck coming from the business world…, but now!!, I have a CLASS A CDL LICENSE with no restrictions and I am fully marketable to work anywhere. Thanks to TKT Drivers University!! They are truly equipping the next generation of CDL Drivers… Hands Down!!

It’s been a journey for me and it helped me to change my career and be a better person. In truth when I say they’re like a family they are really like a family. Everything you need to get through your journey and for your family is there. The opportunities are there. They walk with you, they talk to you, they give you all the tools you need to be a successful CDL truck driver. Fantastic experience: I was a student at Trusted King Transportation, when I first started I was intimidated with the trucks. Five (5) weeks later I can parallel park, straight back, and offset. The instructor's Amous and Ryan are phenomenal, If they tell you (A Dog can pull a truck, hook him up) please listen. They offer the best training Money can buy.
