Fantastic experience: We cannot recommend Curtis and Precision Driving School enough! He took the time to truly teach everything needed to know not only for the test, but to help our daughter be the best driver she can be behind the wheel. He is kind, funny, and my daughter truly enjoyed being around him for the classes and driving practice. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I signed my son up because I missed the window for public school driver’s ed, but now I’m so glad I did! Curtis is patient and calm, and he does an excellent job of communicating with parents and preparing families for the whole experience. My son knew what to study and how to be successful both on his test and when he ventured out onto the road. I plan to use Precision Driving School for my younger two kids as well.

Negative experience: My daughter completed the written portion of the test 12/2/24 she was never scheduled to do the driving portion made multiple attempts via email and by phone to to see when she would be scheduled to drive no response. I had to pay another driving school in order for her to be able to get her permit. I wouldn't choose the driving school if I had it to do all over with.

Fantastic experience: We have used Precision Driving School for both of our children and I HIGHLY recommend it! We wanted our kids to take driver's ed in person and learn the importance, responsibility and safety while driving. Curtis is professional, extremely organized, and is very thorough in his teaching. We recommend his program to all our friends. My children have been very prepared to drive thanks to Curtis.

To start, we were on a tight schedule with sports, and he worked with our schedule to accommodate our needs and schedule Jacob’s behind the wheel training asap. It was a great experience for us as parents as well. Mr. Curtis sat us down the first day and fully explained what to expect and how the process worked. Jacob enjoyed driving with him and completed the training feeling confident and ready for the next step. We were very happy that we chose Precision Driving School! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Curtis is the best instructor I've had the pleasure to learn under. He is even better than Guilford Driving School in greensboro who already is one of the best. I never knew how to drive a car for almost 26yrs but because of his unique and insightful techniques it was quite easy to learn quickly. He also provides a rent option for those who don't own a car for the driving test. Another perk no one else offers. Also the pricing is quite fair & much lower than Guilford also Curtis always finds time no matter how insanely busy he is. The only thing he can improve is picking up his phone calls but if you don't have patience better work on it yourself .

Fantastic experience: I feel that my son is fully prepared to obtain his Level 1 driver’s permit! Mr. Stacey does a great job of keeping the students engaged and learning. Each day when I would pick up my son from class I would ask him about the things they discussed. He would talk me through all of the things he had learned and I could tell that Mr. Stacey was doing a thorough job of teaching these young people. After my son took the driving portion of the course I could see his confidence had gone up. He told me about the different types of driving and maneuvers that they performed on the different days and this also seemed extremely thorough. Mr. Stacey was great with communication. He reminded us before the class started about the days and times that we should be there. Once the classroom portion of the training was completed, he sent home a letter with our son, letting us know the next steps so that we were completely up-to-date on what would happen next. Within about a month he contacted us to schedule the behind the wheel training. Once this was completed, he sat down with me and my son and talked us through everything they had accomplished and what the next steps were with the DMV and getting the level one permit. He provided all of the paperwork we would need and talked to us about documentation, we would need to take. Everything was organized in a folder. The communication, organization and professionalism of Precision Driving and Mr. Stacey was really fantastic. I would totally recommend this course to anyone who needs to get there training completed!

Fantastic experience: Worked with me every step of the way in getting my Driver’s License. I returned to America from Spain after being there for seven years. Walked me through all the steps and documentation I needed to regain my American License. Definitely recommend coming here if you have been living out of country and looking to get your documentation in order to drive. Very professional and great customer service, and definitely helps you get through the process stress free. Thank you again for all your help. Also these do an amazing drive of getting ahead of the line at the DMV. Got everything done in about an hour; the written test, eye exam, and drinking test all done fast. Of course depending how fast it takes you to get the test done, but they definitely make sure you pass. Get your Driver’s License done with Precision.

Our son was very comfortable in the learning environment that was provided by Mr. Stacey. We also appreciated how Mr. Stacey covered all areas of how to proceed with dmv once the drivers ed was completed. We have one more student that will need drivers ed in a couple of years and there is no question who we will contact when that time comes.

Fantastic experience: Wanted to give a shout out to Precision Driving School. My daughter was able to complete the classroom part through school, but wouldn’t be able to do her “behind the wheel” hours until the fall. With a July birthday, and an anxious teen, we contacted Curtis and signed her up. She just finished her 6 hours of driving, and working with Curtis was awesome and easy. Before we left, he reviewed everything we would need to take with us to get her permit in July. If you’re looking to get your kid driving, I highly recommend Curtis at Precision Driving School!

I especially appreciated his flexibility when my daughter had to miss a class. He simply gave her make up work and allowed her to take her final test a different day. My daughter said he made class fun and interesting, was not a boring teacher I’m quite sure she learned more here than she would have elsewhere. The public school DE classes I’ve found all require Saturday class attendance, at a time we attend church, so this was well worth the extra cost. Not only does Mr. Curtis have patience and driving knowledge, he gets to know each driver personally so that they are comfortable with him and behind the wheel. Mr. Curtis helped my sons get their driving licenses at different times. My first son was 16 and completed his driving school and driving with Mr. Curtis shortly after the COVID shutdown. My son got his license a shortly after and is a responsible and safe driver. My other son was 18 with a permit when he drove with Mr. Curtis. My son needed some driving tweaks in order to pass his driver's test. After a driving lesson, Mr. Curtis went above and beyond by scheduling my son to take his driver's test the next day. We even got the appointment time we wanted!! If you want excellent customer service and professionalism, you will get it with Mr. Curtis! Thanks again Mr. Curtis!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter is a 10th grader, after trying numerous times to get a seat in her school's driver's Ed and failing, I called precision driving School. Immediately I was hooked. Her classes were after school which was awesome. She's become really knowledgeable about driving through this class. And she spent time on the road which is a blessing for me seeing as how I have no nerves and I'm not sure if I could ride with my Sweet child. Curtis took her out on the road after she passed the classroom half. she drove 6 hours and she was more confident behind the wheel after just one day of Curtis's instructing my baby. Before precision driving School I feel like she was a little afraid. Which I understood but after she finished his class this girl had the nerve to ask me to let her drive us home. Fantastic experience: Precision is a local business and came highly recommended. NC permitting is pretty cumbersome compared to other states, but Curtis is extremely thorough and covered all aspects of the licensing process, to include getting us multiple appointments with DMV to obtain a permit and provisional license. I highly recommend them (especially for parents doing this for this first time in NC).

Fantastic experience: Precision Driving School was 100% worth every penny to us! My teen son was not interested in learning to drive, because he was so worried about not being able to focus enough to pass the class or drive well. We decided it would be best for him to take the in-class portion of driver's ed during the summer, when school was out, so that he did not have to focus on anything except the driver education class. We looked online and found Precision Driving School. The location was perfect - it's located on Penny Road, which is easy to get to from Kernersville, High Point, Greensboro or even further out areas. Mr Curtis Stacey was my teen's instructor and was so patient, kind, and thorough in his instruction. When I met him, I immediately sensed that my kid would benefit from his straightforward, but easy, manner. You can tell he enjoys teaching this subject and that his goal during class is for our kids to know how to be SAFE on the roads once they become drivers. He had all of the materials and books ready for the kids in the class on day one. He starts and ends right on time. My only negative feedback is that after each class, my son started critiquing my driving and suggested I take the class too - haha! My kid not only passed, he also loved being in class with Mr Stacey... he said Mr Stacey covers the material in a way that he can easily remember it and that it was never a boring class. I'm so impressed and have been recommending Precision Driving School to all of my friends with kids.
