Fantastic experience: Great school with friendly and supportive instructors. They scheduled my road test right away and answered every question I had along the way. Truly wonderful experience here :)

Fantastic experience: This driving school has the best people working at it. The instructor I had Eric was not only so patient but genuinely cared about what he does. Also we mixed up the dates with one of my classes and the woman at the front desk worked her but off to get me in before I started my new job that I needed my license for. They all work so well together and go out of their way to make sure everything works out for you and to make sure that you are comfortable. If I could give them 100 stars I would and I definitely recommend everyone send everybody there.

Fantastic experience: This driving school is amazing. I learned to drive in 5 lessons . Chanell is a excellent instructor because she have patience and very understanding. I thank God for meeting these group of people at this driving school because without them I would not be able to get my license the first chance around

Negative experience: The only reason my review has 1 star and not zero is because of my good experience with my instructor Tony. He made me more comfortable on the road while driving however some of his instructions failed me on my test for being “too cautious”. My mother gifted me a 15 lesson package that included 15 lessons, a 5 hour course, as well as a road test. I have had countless issues with customer service as the front desk was either busy or my calls would never get returned. There were issues with scheduling my road test as I was told by Savino over the phone to schedule my own road test and he gave me my certification info over the phone. Many times I was told I would get a call back, that rarely ever happened. The office also had issues with losing my info card. My 5 hour course was taken over zoom however it had to get rescheduled for the following week as 1 letter was incorrect in the email I told them over the phone. Their biggest issue is communication in my opinion. It is not easy enough to contact them and most times that you do contact anybody, you need to call multiple times before you get your question answered. Either way, almost $1k later and I still don’t have my license.

Fantastic experience: I went a couple weeks ago to get my five hour course and was amazing how nice, a good sense of humor and trying to be very helpful! Definitely Recommend! I am looking to get help for my drivers test but I don’t know how much it is so if anyone can let me know I would greatly appreciate it have a blessed day and I totally recommend this place they were really awesome

Negative experience: Instructor so rude!!! He has not patience to deal with Spanish people and their accent COMPLETELY RUDE!!!!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. I had Dave as my instructor and Tony in my road test. They are good and prepare you well for the road test. They are always on time and very cooperative.

Fantastic experience: I got my 5 hour course through them on zoom because it's so convenient, totally recommend. I also scheduled my driving test and lessons with them. I had already had prior driving experience but never parallel parked and I had never done a three point turn. Yet in one lesson on a Saturday the instructor had me learn those things and I practiced throughout the weekend. Today (the following Monday)I had a lesson right before my driving test and and I passed. Totally recommend, and remember to practice the lessons are to teach, but practice is key. That's why I only needed too. Shout-out to Dave, who was my instructor, totally recommend.

Negative experience: Receptionist is good. Very helpful when I called and booked classes. But the important part for a student is the instructor. Instructor has 0 patience, is rude all the time. I went for my road test, he lowered all my confidence by the way he spoke with me. Be patient, and give confidence to your students, not shatter it.

Negative experience: Went there for a 5hr class got there late because of the transit system, and the instructor was rude as f××k. Told me I should of gotten there on time yet I was coming from the other side of town. Found another school to take the test at City A1 Driving School and the Interaction was day and night glad he was rude and I left. City A1 money well spent. Treat ppl how you wanna be treated is my only suggestion!

Negative experience: Horrible I would not recommend, I payed for the 7 lesson package and my Instructor canceled on me twice and when I booked my road test they day of it my instructor never showed up….

Negative experience: They driving lessons is horrible I failed my test and they didn’t teach me how to parallel parked the correct way they just want your money in the long run I would not recommend this driving school.

Negative experience: Made a reservation online for a class and had to reschedule. Came in to speak to someone and got the owner. He was very nasty and rude while speaking to me. I asked for refund and will never be doing business with him.

Negative experience: Often times my instructor did not arrive at the agreed upon time. My instructor also did not message me whenever he would be arriving late. One of receptionist lady is extremely rude. Initially they gave me schedule of all the driving lessons and the assigned time. When the instructor did not show up, I called the school they told me I am wrong even though they are ones who gave me the schedule. My instructor also did not give proper instructors. Sometimes it was hard to hear what he was saying because he would say it in a very low voice which would confuse me even more. The driving lessons are extremely expensive compared to the value it provides. Even though they don't mention this in their pamphlets they expect that you have your own car and you practice driving in your own time. Whatever lesson and fundamentals that they teach is not enough to pass the DMV tests.

Negative experience: The Italian guy with the last name DiFranco or Seveno; believed to be the owner seems very "biased" to immagrants though he seemed to be one himself. He offered no help to people who had a language barrier and even made sly remarks about other immigrants with a language barrier who came in. Whats the point of sitting in a driving class if I can't understand whats being said and I'm not allowed to bring my own translater? (he told a translater to leave). Plus, the guy seems to be fuent in many other languages but offered no help. You'd think this false sense of human superiority would be a figment of imagination in 2021 yet still, we get an abundance of evidence showing that it is not only thriving but alive and well. The owner of this establishment should be ashamed of himself..

Negative experience: I wish I can give it 0 stars if I could, this particular driving school is very poor in communication. Several times I’ve told them that I was more comfortable with my original instructor but they continued to make up dates for my lessons and tried to give me an instructor that I was not comfortable with. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS DRIVING SCHOOL!

Negative experience: I do not recommend this driving school personally because I called them at 9 o’clock to let them know I was picking up my certificate. I caught the bus and the doors were locked by 10 o’clock. There was no notice. While outside I called my phone calls are being ignored. I looked in to see if anybody was in there and there was The owner ignoring the phone calls. I knocked on the door and he told me to go away. No explanation no nothing. 30 minutes later he snuck out the front door and left the place attended with a young lady. No apologies no nothing

Negative experience: My instructor seemed like he wasn't interested in teaching me and he wasn't a good match for me. The lessons are expensive. Got one of most expensive packages still failed my road test. One of the receptionist lady is really nice and other one is rude. I don't know what's wrong with her. Seems like everything is a personal attack.

Fantastic experience: The Best Driving School In Buffalo, The Instructors Are A-1 (The Older White Guy I Think Tony Is His Name & Jessica) Are The Best. Office Staff Is Direct & Helpful. Will Definitely Pass Your Road Test With Buffalo Driving School.

Negative experience: I only rated it one star because you cannot rate no stars. I called for a quote for my son and the gentleman that answered the williamsville place was very rude. I asked the price of the package and he told me if I was shopping for price that they are not the lowest but they're the best. I just wanted to know how much it was going to cost me before I signed up. I told him that he just lost a customer and to have a nice day. He said that was fine goodbye.

Fantastic experience: my instructor was mark thomasson. i just passed my road test today. if i could give him 10 stars i would but the max amount is only 5 .

Fantastic experience: Great class. I wanted to add more to this. Yes the class room was very full. 2 people per table. The instructor did state that if you were not comfortable that you were able to leave since payment had not been transmitted yet. So it is your choice to stay or not. Dont write a bad review if you dont stay for the class. There are worse places out there then this class. Covid is putting us all under pressure. My daughter went to this class and is not showing any signs of covid so they must be doing something right. As for customer service...i had an outstanding phone call when I scheduled the appointment. Maybe it is how people are so spoiled and need everything handed to them. Lighten up people - live life and be happy!

Negative experience: First of all very rude. Second of all, it’s covid and there was no social distancing. I went in the classroom and it was so crowded. Unbelievable. I wanted to leave. Thank god the instructor finished the class 1 hour early.

Negative experience: They are not complying with the NYS Covid regulations. They had a full house on Saturday with absolutely no social distancing. Everyone sat elbow to elbow!! To small of a place to have all those people packed in like sardines. EDIT: My son was not given that choice at the beginning of his class. It seems like you merge Saturday classes alot! You should not allow this!

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, lady who answered the phone offered no help whatsoever to what I was asking or even offered some other driving schools who could help.

Negative experience: When inquiring about lessons the lady who picked up the phone was very, VERY unprofessional and rude!! overall had bad mannerisms and will cause this place to lose out on a lot of money and business because she is very disrespectful! This is the Bailey location, when I asked to speak with the owner she said “my phones are ringing off the hook and I don’t have time for this, have a nice day!” Doesn’t sound like someone who likes her job very much so maybe she doesn’t need it! To think I was gonna spend hundreds there HA!! unbelievable smh

Negative experience: Poor communication and not professional. I called and asked to schedule a appointment for the 5 hr course. I asked the owner 3 times was this the correct date for me to come in he said “yea”. When I got there he was very confused and told me it was no class that day. How are you the owner and don’t even know which days your classes take place ??

Negative experience: Went to the driving school for a 5 hour course. I showed up at 8:45 am on a Saturday as did several other people. Waited until 9:45am before leaving. No one showed. During my wait I scoured social media to make sure I did not miss any announcement about hours. There was none. Really disappointed. Hopefully they will communicate better in the future about their operations or lack there of.

Negative experience: Worst Experience Ever. So i set my alarm for the 9am class to decrease the monthly amount for my auto insurance policy. My instructor was a old man who i found out later owns the spot. He came in with a huge chip on his shoulder. Being rude and picking fights with people it was something out of a movie. I regret not recording this incident. It got to the point where an employee of his says they can switch teaching classes but the old man refused with a "they all can leave" attitude. The whole thing was disgusting to watch to say the least. Me and a couple of other brave souls walked out. Ill go elsewhere. I would like to be respected where i spend my money. The owner should be ashamed of his self. You dont treat people like that.

Negative experience: We got their most expensive package and the student only got a few days of instructions. Upon asking for more practice time (which I was willing to pay for, they were always booked). The student did not pass after taking the test multiple times. I took the student for a lesson myself, and she didn’t know anything. If a student goes through his/her full lesson and still doesn’t know how to drive, you’re putting that student and others on road at risk! I had to teach the student everything all over again before they passed. Very unsatisfactory service.

Negative experience: Packages are good. But extremely rude and disappointing. The lady on call would already make you feel so unwelcoming to join with her rude behavior. Should work on their service.

Positive experience: The scheduling is frustrating for a first-time learner but the instructors are wonderful.

Fantastic experience: I recommend anyone to choose this place as their driving school. It was so easy to book appointments with this school and Melissa was very friendly to me. I had Dave as my instructor and he was a really good instructor. He might be strict, but he prepares you well for the road test. I passed the road test on my first try. Negative experience: This is one of the worst driving school. They have the worst customer service and Driving instructor. My instructor was Sam. He is one of the rudest and impatient person I have ever met. After 3rd lessons, he wanted me to drive like a pro and He always used to yell at me for no reason. He always arrived at least 20 mints late.My schedule for driving lessons has changed many time but the agents didn't even call and let me know about the change. So, Every time I had to reschedule it. But I really like that they have unlimited road test if you take $500 course and I passed mine. But overall I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.

Fantastic experience: I had Tony as an in class instructor and even though the course itself could be a bit boring, Tony always made the class interesting and entertaining. Bill was the in-car instructor and he managed to make in-car the perfect mix of enjoyable and educational. So happy to have the two of them as my instructors :)

Fantastic experience: I took my 5-hour course here and as horribly long as it was, it was a positive atmosphere filled with laughter. I paid for their Experienced Driver package which you will use their car and they'll give you two 45 minute evaluations, prior to your test and the day of. Bill was so freaking awesome as an instructor. He made me feel more comfortable behind the wheel, great at teaching parallel parking, simple instructions, he is very patient and extremely funny. With his guidance, I got my license on my first try. If you plan on taking driving courses here, ask for Bill. He will not disappoint.

Negative experience: My son was harassed by instructor for no reason! Threw his permit on floor and wasn't going to give him his certificate! Would not recommend going to this place at all! Cant believe they would have a idiot teaching like this! Very bad place!

Positive experience: Trish is an amazing instructor, definitely recommend taking her. She really understands what difficulties a student may have and works on exactly that. She helped increased my confidence as a driver and I'm surprised there aren't more reviews about her on here! I really appreciated all the patience she had with me. Only bad experience I had with this institution was when I called once about restarting lessons and the man who picked up (not the usual lady who answers my calls) was super rude and didn't even understand what I was calling about, the usual lady took over the call at the end.

Fantastic experience: I took driving classes from BILL I would recommend him he is a very good instructor he knows what he is doing very knowledgeable ,patient willing to answer he gives you so much confidence he taught me just the right things i needed to know .All u have to do is to follow his instructions his techniques are crisp and it helps not only to clear the test ....but to use them in my day to day driving .A VERY PATIENT TEACHER BILL IS THE BEST.

Fantastic experience: I had come a tad late I'll admit. Okay... half an hour late. It was for my 4pm 5 hour course. The older gentleman .... who's name escapes me. Was a cool guy. Let me into the class with a teasing grin and went about it as if nothing happened. I'll tell you what. You'll definitely be getting my business again. And I'll definitely recommend you guys. Kindness is a very rare resource. I was happy to find it here.

Fantastic experience: Bill is the guy you want if you are not comfortable with driving yet. He is very calm and friendly with a lot of patience and answers pretty much any questions you have about driving and the road test. He explains everything perfectly and makes it really easy to understand. I had no idea how to parallel park but after he demonstrated it for me and explained the steps I was able to flawlessly pull it off my first time and every time since. I highly recommend this school and also Bill as an instructor if possible. 5 Stars.

Fantastic experience: Let me just start off by saying I LOVE SAM! He is not only a great teacher he is a very kind person with a good heart. Sam honestly cares about his job and making the student achieve the goal of learning a life skill (driving). He is very patient with teaching. When he teaches you about maneuvers and the rules of the road he always explains the reasoning behind them, not just telling you plainly "this is how it is". I've been putting off getting my license for about 5 years. I am not a fast learner and I've never driven a car before so I decided to sign up for the 10 lessons and unlimited road tests. It was very worth it. If you never drove before and don't even know that cars move by themselves if not put into "P" this is the package for you. I also took my 5-hour course with them and it was a quick and painless class. There were some rude/disrespectful people taking the class which was upsetting to see because the instructors are there to teach you the rules of the road for your benefit. You're going to them because you need them to teach you. Some people didn't even know their instructor's name. How do you not know the name of the person you are in a vehicle with? I don't know. If you don't care to spend only 5 hours of your day to learn some rules and useful information then don't drive. Before signing up for classes I read the reviews for this school, after attending the 5-hour course I'm pretty sure the 1 star reviews are from the type of people that are rude and disrespectful to the instructors. To be honest most of them sound as if they feel entitled to be treated a certain way no matter how the treat others. So the bad reviews I would take with a grain of salt because in the end the instructors here genuinely want to teach you a life skill not be intentionally "mean". I failed my first road test due to my negligence while making a right turn and was devastated. Sam had the tissues and a good conversation to cheer me up and have a positive attitude about working towards passing the next road test. I passed my road test yesterday and teared up a little but this time it was for a good reason. I owe it to my great instructor Sam, and I am grateful for that. Sam if you're reading this Mike said thank you for teaching me how to drive and to come on over to the restaurant dinner is on us! ~~Fevy

Fantastic experience: As someone who was super nervous about driving/passing the road test for years, I can say purchasing the 10 lesson package was the best choice I have made. I was able to pass my road test the first time, thanks to Sam! Sam is an awesome instructor and gives great driving advice. Even if Sam was unable to do one of my lessons, the driver(s) who came in his place were able to keep me on track and ensure I was actually learning while behind the wheel. Positive experience: I would not recommend this place. I am currently enrolled in a 7 lesson package since MAY. They make you call and book appointments right after one another. I hate the phone operating system. My instructor talked to me in a rude tone the first time I drove. I told him I had never driven a car before. He could have made it more easy on me and told me I’d need to do better but he just criticized. I expected to have my license by now. Update: I had gotten a new instructor. Tony was amazing. Went with the pace I was going. Passed my road test on the second try.

Negative experience: I just recently called them over the phone and I also did last month and spoke with a employee name Karen. I was called and asked if my 5 hour course certificate is still valid and before I call tell her the reason I am calling she rudely cut me off and said why didn't you call the DMV, and she said it without caring or know what my problem was or if she was allowed to help me, She was very rude and I did not know what I did to aggravate her but I hope no one else have the same problem as I did today.

Fantastic experience: I signed my daughter up for lessons, she was a train wreck and I just could not teach her. I passed it off to Buffalo Driving Schools and they were marvelous! They really took the time to explain everything and schedule our lessons on our schedule not theirs. The instructors and office staff were friendly and attentive and really understood our needs. End result she passed and I no longer need to cart her around and I get the peace of mind knowing she is safe on the road. Thank you so much Buffalo Driving Schools!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: one word can express how my experience with buffalo driving school in buffalo on bailey ave.(GREAT.) the people there really took there time to help me with everything . melissa that help's with schedule road test and answering the phone's is a angel . anytime i had any question she would help guide me in the right place. taking the class with DAVID was awesome. not only did i learn things about driving but also safe tip's i will take with me forever. if i could give this driving school 7 star's i would. when i was ready to start practice driving they sent me a guy name BILL lol. and one word can only express bill (awesome). bill made me very comfortable and help to reinsured me on what driving safe really mean's. everyone at buffalo driving school are great people for new driver's and old driver's . today it's very hard to meet people that really care's if you fail or succeed so i thank everyone at buffalo driving school for teaching the rule's of the road and how to drive safe. i would recommend this school to all my friend's . thank you very much melissa, david, and bill what great teacher's you are.

Negative experience: I am really sad to write that my experience with this school was one of the worst. I am not a believer in posting bad reviews but this experience made me feel to write about this horrible experience. I only took two brush up classes with a senior person. In my first class he passed comments I did not appreciate at all but I ignored. In my final lesson and same day as of my test, he was late for 15 minutes. As we started the lesson he started yelling at me , I kept my cool as much I could. Finally I requested to be gentle as this is my exam day. He told me " Your examiner is going to have fun". Imagine this kind of person your instructor and on the top it after 30 minutes this is your exam. I kept faith in myself and I did wonderful in my exam. If you are instructor, you need to have patience. Making fun of the person, ethnicity , country of origin is not acceptable. Please avoid this place.

Negative experience: Racism at its finest just because you are the owner doesn't mean that you have the right to talk to people any way you want very unprofessional

Negative experience: My driving instructor was late to almost every single lesson. When he didn't plan on showing up due to car troubles, no one ever called me to let me know. Almost every time I tried to schedule a lesson it would be at least a week apart, prolonging how long this needed to take when they should have only been a few days apart.

Fantastic experience: I have a lesson during the summer time , my directer was very nice and kind , it worth the price ! and they give you a highway lesson after you pass the road test .

Fantastic experience: Great experience with my driving instructor, Bill! He was extremely calm, cool and super friendly. I never dreaded a lesson with him. He taught me everything I needed to know very clearly and made driving easy. His confidence in my driving in return gave me confidence in my driving. Best teacher I could've asked for. All in all, I passed the road test and it was a good experience leading up to it.

Fantastic experience: The classroom days went great but they were not as good as the in-car. Bill was my instructor who I loved greatly. Every time I would get in the car he would greet me and ask me about how my day was going. Also, I could drive almost wherever I wanted. I was more able to relax and not worry much. I will remember the great conversations that we had that made me feel more comfortable and made our group more of a family. I would highly recommend Bill as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor was Bill. At first I had Chuck. I was later transferred to Bill and had the best driving experience. I wasn't afraid to drive and got better with every class. He was brutally nice and insanely hilarious. Everyone in the car could pick what they wanted to work on. You could go anywhere. This allowed for more experience instead of a scripted course. I had a great time and learned a lot. Every time I went to class, I wasn't dreading but excited to go to the in car. I didn't care too much for the classroom part with Tony. The in car with Bill is by far the best driving class experience anyone in their right mind can ask for!

Fantastic experience: I had multiple instructors who helped me to improve on my driving skills. Dave told me the basics and fundamentals of driving, the second instructor helped me to understand and polish my skills. My third instructor, probably one of the most cool guys I had so far, Bill instructed me on different kinds of roads to drive on. It allowed me to understand what to do in each road condition there is. These three instructors were very kind to me and was a wonderful experience to be with them. Their lessons were amazing. The driving tester was also a pretty chill person as well. The test was over pretty quickly and also helped me to realize how much I actually learned from the instructors I had. This was one of the best experiences I had so far. I would definitely recommend others to come to this school as well.

Fantastic experience: the class was not so bad, the in class stuff wasn't bad just boring. But the in car was fun. My instructor was Bill, he was a good man and very helpful

Fantastic experience: I took lessons at this driving school last month and i just took my road test last friday and passed. I was very pleased with my driving instructor, she told me what to do and what not to do on the road. She answered any and every question i had. She was always on time picking me up. Plus she was real chill. The instructor that took me to my road test was real nice and had more confidence in me than i had in myself. And him being that confident in me made me realize that i could do it. This was a really good driving school and i am most definitely recommending this place to my friends.

Fantastic experience: Great driving school, I had very little Driving Experience before I started my lessons. I was a very nervous driver and beginning but after a while I became a very relaxed driver and a good one at that. I had Bill as my instructor and he was amazing, he would always give good feedback about what I did and did not do correctly. He would ask what I think I needed to work on and we would work on that specific thing till I felt comfortable. The ladies at the office were also very helpful and nice every time I spoke with them on the phone. A big thanks to everyone at Buffalo driving school for helping me get my license.

Negative experience: My in-car instructor was named Chuck and he expected that we learn the course extremely quick and used a very rude tone of voice for even the most minor slip ups. On top of that, try and reschedule anything with him and he'd become annoyed and use a snippy tone with you. Beyond that, the in-class was not interactive and extremely depressing. If you want an active and helpful driving instructor then don't go here.

Negative experience: Instructor excepted me to learn fast. Kept using and rude tone when I did things wrong. Tried to get me to buy a package deal after barely helping me.

Negative experience: Worst service ever. Do not go to this place for lessons. My driving instructor Sam was extremely rude and impatient. He would yell and scream at me for every mistake i made instead of calmly explaining them. Trying to learn how to drive for the first time while having someone yelling at you for making mistakes made driving so much more stressful. Strongly advise agaisnt this place unless you enjoy paying money to get yelled at for making mistakes when youre genuinely trying to learn. Do not give them any business as you can see a lot of people have had bad experience with them. They are unprofessional and rude.

Negative experience: Just to take me to road test they charged $150. Took my rosdtest on east Aurora. Charged $45 extra. All together $195.

Positive experience: Updating since I finally got my lessons in maybe a year ago. School is very accomodating, I reserved in advance and was able to get 2 lesson packages done within a month or two. Still wasn't the most organized organized, if the lady at the office handling calls said she would get back to me later, I could almost count on her forgetting. Also, I didn't feel too comfortable with my instructor. He scolded me after one of my first lessons, saying thst I would never pass. Towards the end of my last lesson package, he pushed me to take the road test, but I felt like I couldn't trust him, so I went with Stevens school instead.
