Fantastic experience: I was on an extreme time crunch and as usual procrastinated everything with the Holidays coming up. I contacted DPDS and Melanie was able to fit me in on the 24th of December. I had to do the written and driving test. Written went great, time to do the driving test and of course I didn't have a current insurance card. I live in Mead and was able to email her the current one and drove back up to Deer Park. It took me about 15 minutes and when I got there, she had printed and laminated my insurance card.. What a nice thing to do. The whole operation is first class and she is a wonderful proctor and I highly recommend her and Deer Park Driving School. I know exactly where my daughter is going in 2 yrs. Thank You.

Fantastic experience: I partook in their driving school zoom class and instructional drives and I took my drive test here, I can say that all the instructors there are awesome and very kind but they also teach you alot and keep you safe!

First time teen driver getting drivers license Coming from a driving student myself I first tested at Fastlane Academy ( Do Not Recommend!!!!!!!!!) and was failed by 2 points for barely being under speed limit. (going 27 on a 35) just being cautious… Going into Deer Park driving school I scheduled my driving test with Mrs.Elston. She is a TERRIFIC teacher!!! She went over what to expect before getting on the road because she cares about us young teens and wishes us the best… In addition to my hard work I ended up passing because of her accurate grading, warm heart and her ability to make others feel comfortable especially if you have test anxiety or have a hard time settling in:) She is a thorough instructor and cares about road safety and our ability to actually become great and safe drivers on the road.Overall she is such an AMAZING person and i’m truly grateful to have met her and gotten the chance to have her as my instructor. 10/10 would recommend to both teens ,parents and adults

Fantastic experience: My son took the classroom and behind-the-wheel drives at Deer Park Driving School. He just passed the driving skills test today! Mrs. Elston is such a pleasure to work with. She is so patient, so professional, and so kind. She's especially understanding of students with high anxiety levels. She has a very calming demeanor that puts students at ease. Mrs. Lebrant (I know I'm misspelling it) was also a very positive, encouraging, and calming presence on two of my son's drives. These instructors are the kind of instructor's I wish I had as a teenager. This driving school is so needed in this area, and I'm so thankful we have it in our community.

Estube en dos lugares diferentes para sacar la licencia y perdí el examen de manejo .. no daban buena atención.. no sé si era por ser latino .. pero los instructores no saben dar buen Servio .. fui a este lugar y ufff saque mi licencia la mejor atención .. la dueña del lugar es la mejor . Моим инструктором по вождению была Мелани, я восторге. Пришла на 9.00, волновалась безумно. Мелани видела мои переживания, на переводчике по телефону, сначала успокоила меня, потом доступно на планшете и с помощью машинки объяснила, что будет входить в программу экзамена. В течении поездки мягко общалась, заранее предупреждала о маневрах какие я должна была делать. Сдала!!! Меня поздравили, объяснили где допущены были ошибки, дали рекомендации)) Спасибо большое инструктору!!!

Fantastic experience: Took my driving test today and passed. The driving instructor, Miss Elston, is a pleasure to work with. She is calm, controlled, and supportive. After the test we reviewed the results and discussed the maneuvers that I performed, which ones I completed better/worse, and for the worse maneuvers we discussed what I did poorly and what I can do to improve. Good instruction, easy to access driving school, and a good general location to practice/test at. Definitely reccomend this site!

Mrs Elston had a way of calming her nerves before she even got in the car. She clearly demonstrated with a pad and little cars what was expected of her/everything she would be tested on. Once they left, they returned within 15 minutes, and she passed with flying colors. I HIGHLY recommend bringing your teen here. You won't find a better experience anywhere in the surrounding area.
