Negative experience: He taught me great driver skills the first day but after that he kept making up excuses and never showed up again. Very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Craig was an incredible instructor in preparing our son for his road test and driving in general. He was extremely responsive when we had questions, very flexible and accommodating in working with our son’s schedule, and went above and beyond to work with and address the specific needs and gaps our son had as he was learning to drive. He passed his driver’s test the first time around, and we will absolutely be using Craig with our younger son next year!

Negative experience: I have scheduled multiple lessons with Craig for my wife. We have always lived in major cities and she has never needed to drive electing to use public transportation. Now that we live in a town (Nedrow) she wanted to get her license. Every time Craig scheduled an appointment he abruptly cancelled, in some situations, one hour or two hours before the lesson. Very poor customer service. Maybe it was because of our age (30s)? Does he only serve the youth?

Craig focused on certain areas that our son needed extra help on and had ongoing communication with my husband and me. Although our son now has his license , we are hiring Craig to teach him how to drive in our tricky CNY snow. Fantastic experience: When we selected Craig's Driving School, we did so after receiving many recommendations from other parents in the Manlius area. We were new to NY state and I did not fully understand how I should go about getting our teen licensed. Craig provided me detailed information and walked me through the process. He could not make this any easier! All of my MN friends would be jealous! He was extremely kind and patient with our teen and developed a positive relationship with her day one. He was timely in responding to questions via email, phone or text. And he was very flexible with scheduling. You will not regret signing up for his services.

Fantastic experience: Craig’s driving school is no doubt the best driving school in the northeast. I have had more than 100 teachers/instructors throughout my educational and club experiences which includes post graduate school. With this perspective, I can say Craig is in the top 1 percent of teachers/instructors period. During my son’s lessons, I often sat in the back seat and keenly observed the lessons. He has a easy, calm, patient, demeanor. His instructions are easy to understand and reproduce. There is no one else I would have instructing my family. My son had the 10 lesson package and precertification course. He was able to accommodate us on weekends for lessons and quickly responded to my text or phone call if we needed rescheduling. Craig scheduled the road test for us and was able to secure our first choice of time and date. At the test , my son felt confident and “did very well” as he passed on his first attempt. Again, I would look no further than Craig to be your driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: The driving school instructors were efficient, professional, prompt in their responses and most importantly allowed my student to learn the rules of driving and the road in a practical way. Sessions were scheduled in a timely manner and prompt with time and departure given the full timeframe needed which worked well for my student. My student had increase confidence in himself and driving after each lesson and raved of how easy going the instructors are. Instructors were able to relate to my student and gained much success of passing road test the first time. Without question, I would recommend this driving school to anyone for success of being an excellent driving as skills learned/planted will last for a lifetime.

Fantastic experience: I hired Craig’s Driving School for both of my children and they both passed their road tests the very first time. It is extremely convenient as they provide the option to take the 5 hour course, schedule the test and drive to the test. In addition, they pick up the students right at their home. The instructors are very professional and knowledgeable. They made both of my children very comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Craig is awesome! He created a custom package for my twin daughters for multiple lessons (they took Drivers Ed so they didn’t need the Pre-license class). He is professional, flexible, easygoing, friendly, and calm. It is really convenient for him to come to the house and pick them up for their lessons. One daughter was eager to drive – after several lessons (and the required practice time with me, which was so much less stressful since it was practice instead of teaching), Craig took her downtown for her driver’s test, and she passed first time!! My other daughter wasn’t as eager and opted to wait to get her license. She is eager now and she is looking forward to getting behind the wheel with Craig as her instructor again for a few refresher lessons to build her confidence (and therefore mine for practice driving). We highly recommend Craig as a driving instructor!

Fantastic experience: Craig came highly recommended to us from a friend who hired him to teach her daughter. We took his 5 hour course and then I reached out to Craig again because my daughter failed her road test. He was very responsive and worked out a time to drive with my daughter. He taught her a better way to parallel park and gave her confidence. He even rescheduled her road test for us and offered suggestions for the road test. Because of this my daughter passed her road test!

Fantastic experience: Craig’s Driving school has been fantastic! Craig taught all three of my children to drive. It is so easy, Craig comes to pick them up for their lessons. He is extremely flexible, great for working parents. Teaching teen drivers is challenging for anyone, Craig has amazing patience and expertise. By having Craig teach my kids to drive, I felt more comfortable supervising, since they were given the basics. Significantly less stressful! Each of my kids looked forward to driving with Craig every week, and by conversing with him while driving, they became used to having a passenger, and were less likely to be distracted. The only down side was occasionally being corrected on my own driving! I would give SIX stars if I could. Using Craig to teach my kids to drive was one of the best parenting decisions we have made. I would highly recommend his driving program. Thank you Craig!

Fantastic experience: Craig provided driving instruction to both of my sons and I have recommended him to many friends. We thought it important that our sons get additional instruction beyond what my husband and I provided. As many reviewers have said, Craig is patient and kind, putting teens at ease immediately. I would also like to highlight that he is honest about what our sons needed to work on and about their readiness for testing. He told us when to schedule the driving tests based on their skills and confidence level. We really appreciated that guidance knowing that as parents we are sometimes biased. Our school does not offer driving education and other options were inconvenient. Having Craig as a one-on-one instructor, willing to pick up student drivers at home, school or another designated site, was the best way to go for our family!

I spent alot of time before I decided on him reading reviews of all the local driving schools I could go to, all I can say is trust the positive reviews he has. He was exceptionally flexible with my crazy work schedule and really made sure to take advantage of the classes I had paid for to get me as prepared as possible for the test. I had already failed my first driving test and had not drove in over a year when I started my lessons with him. He was patient and gave me the confidence and knowledge to pass my test today. I'm planning on taking more lessons with him in the future to work on highway driving skills. If you're on the fence on whether or not to go with Craig, just do it, you wont regret it. Could not be happier with the services he offers.

Fantastic experience: Craig is great. He’s patient, kind and an easygoing teacher but still makes sure you have everything you need to pass the test. This was my third time taking the test (turns were horrendous, trouble with steering control, etc...) But Craig put me at ease and got my license today. Super excited and would always recommend.

Negative experience: do not know him or his abilities. But my two boys enjoyed him on their ONE session. He no showed for their second session and we have not been able to reach him since. We honestly thought something happened to him....until I read some of the reviews on his lack of responses. My boys road test is less than a week away.... thx buddy! if there were a cancellation and reschedule, this does not excuse you from not answering our multiple calls for days on end. Which seems to be your trend.

Fantastic experience: I came to US 3 years ago with no experience in driving. Initially I was very nervous about learning to drive, however Craig made driving look easy. I have been with Craig from start to finish. He is a wonderful instructor who taught me the skills I needed as a new driver.
