Fantastic experience: I spent the past 6 months with Branch's instructors. As a neurodivergent person the instructors were acute to notice how I was feeling and tailored their communication to me and my comfort level. The training I got from Branch's helped me pass my road test on the FIRST try! Huge shoutout to Jeff and Sam for spending the most amount of time with me in helping me prepare for my driving journey! If you get lessons ASK FOR JEFF AND/OR SAM FIRST! Additional shoutouts to George, Lisa, Brian, Chuck and Matt for training me as well! Fantastic experience: Driving hasn’t been a quick easy learning experience for me unlike peers that were around me which was kind of humiliating when it shouldn’t have been. I failed my road test 2 times and after that stopped driving for a while because my confidence completely flew out the window. I started taking Branches and my Instructor Matthew was a wonderful teacher. He gives constructive criticism to the point where you are learning from what you are doing wrong or/and need to work on, but not so harsh to the point where you no longer feel confident or motivated enough to get behind the wheel. Fantastic experience: I registered my 17 yr old for drivers ed classes thru Branch’s Driving School and may I say, It was the best decision I ever made! From the beginning to end, Branches Driving staff were very professional in scheduling appointments and taking the time to explain the process for my daughter. Branches Driving school were great sending text messages which alerted me with any new changes and communication was reciprocal. The drivers instructor specifically Matt was the best ever!!! My daughter highly spoke of her drivers instructor (Matt) who gave her the confidence to be a safe and great driver. Additionally, I am grateful for all the other staff who were involved to make my daughter’s driving experience an exceptional one! One more thing, My daughter passed. Thank You from Watertown!

Fantastic experience: Matthew McCarthy was amazing I had two lessons with him and he’s a great teacher and makes sure you have no more concerns by the end of the lesson and he tells you exactly what you need to work on. I’ve learned so much and never felt so confident in driving thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: When I first started, I could barely drive. Nervous and inexperienced, I started practicing with Matt from Watertown. He was very patient, explained things in a way that I could understand, very kind to me, and was always early to our appointments. After all the lessons I finally passed my Drivers test. While I mostly interacted with Matt, everyone else was very kind and helpful too. Lisa helped with the 5 hour class and some driving practice. I would contact or be contacted by Sarah about appointments or cancellations and that was very helpful.

Negative experience: After purchasing 3 driving lessons online for my daughter, I realized there is no way to schedule those lessons online or request certain dates. They use some sort of antiquated system where you have to speak to a live person in their office. Good luck getting ahold of office staff as the office closes at 2:30 PM, and they don’t necessarily answer before that (as we found out). This made it very difficult for my daughter (a high school junior) and myself (a teacher) to call before 2:30. They do NOT inform you upfront on their website that they are scheduling lessons at least a month out, so if your driver’s test is coming up this may be an issue. The communication is poor; and I ended up requesting a refund on my credit card. Should have gone with AAA as many of my daughter’s friends have had a great experience there. ***Update after reading “owner’s” response- We did NOT request a driving lesson the week after we purchased the lessons. That is FALSE! We asked for 3 dates in late November. I would use extreme caution when dealing with this company and document everything.

Fantastic experience: I appreciate everyone at Branch's Driving School. The instructors are professional and so is the office staff. They call and remind you of your upcoming sessions. If the driver is running late they also call and inform you. The cars they use are clean and drive well. I mainly worked with Brian; he was patient and helped me pass my driving test. Their mini-lessons are also a great way to practice prior to the test. Thank You Branch's!

Lisa and Matt provided the driving lessons and helped fine tune the driving skills we felt he needed help with. Teaching your child to drive is very stressful! Negative experience: I went in and scheduled 5 lessons for my daughter with the ladies sitting at the desks, paid in full. the day of the first lesson came, my daughter went and sat outside waiting for the driver around 10 minutes before the time of lesson. Me and my husband were not home at the time and trusted the school to inform us if anything occurred. My daughter proceeds to call me at work 30 minutes after the lesson time and tells me that no one ever came. I tried to call the school but it was closed so no one picked up, which makes sense, so I left a voicemail. The next day, a lady calls me back and I explained to her what happened. She tells me that a driver named “George” or something similar told her that ME and MY HUSBAND (who were NOT home at the time) came outside and verbally told the driver that our daughter had to reschedule. The total story was a lie because my daughter was HOME ALONE and was sitting outside waiting for the driver who NEVER arrived. She was very rude and told us that she “doesn’t know” and it’s OUR fault and we have to reschedule otherwise there will be no refund and we will lose the lesson aswell. We were forced to reschedule because we spent over $500 on the lessons. The next lessons went fine with a DIFFERENT and GREAT driver named Mike! We had no issues with him and he did a great job with explaining. I would NOT recommend anyone to spend their money here and I certainly will not be coming here again.

Positive experience: I would highly recommend this driving school to any and everyone. I enjoyed my learning experience with them from the 5 hour zoom class to me being at the wheel. Matthew and Tom were my instructors. Matt for most of it, he is very patient, he explains everything, takes his time with you and makes you very comfortable behind the wheel. Branch's driving School is the place to go with all your driving needs!

She was right to the point and really knew her stuff as far as teaching the class. She made the course seem quick and painless, and even after being a licensed driver in and out of NY state, for the past 20 years, I was happy to have my memory refreshed, and reminded of several rules that I just don't think about anymore,(hopefully because they have become an instinct at this point), BUT, WILL NEED, the information front and center, in my mind, for the road test!!! Fantastic experience: Passed my test recently at the first time of asking and it was thanks to Branch's. As an older learner (37), getting behind the wheel after a long spell abroad was daunting but that first lesson with Mike quickly put those fears aside. I went from dreading driving to looking forward to it before long. I ended up going for the gold package and it proved to be money well spent. All the instructors I dealt with (Mike, Vince, and Sam) were excellent and gave me the skills and confidence to pass my test.

He answered all my questions, he was patient and funny, and he was extremely effective in teaching me the rules of the road. All he did when I made the occasional mistake was gently chide me. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for an instructor and their money's worth.

Fantastic experience: I purchased three lessons here, and spent a wonderful time practicing with Sam who is always informative, patient and encouraging. I passed, with the help of Sam and other Branch’s staff. Thank you! And to my fellow international students, it is really difficult for someone who’s been driving elsewhere to start anew and learn to get used to the American traffic, and the crew from Branch’s understand it and can help you with it! If you find it troubling to deal with the road test on your own, you should give them a call; and trust me, you would be in good hands.

She is She instilled confidence in me that I needed after I failed the road test the first time and I really appreciate her. I still use her tips and tricks for the road to this day! Fantastic experience: Amazing instructors!

Positive experience: My son Joshua paid for a his five hour and then a special, 3 lessons for a set price. The first two went without a hitch. His third lesson never happened, the day it was supposed to happen no one came to pick him up. Two lessons and my son never parallel parked or three point turned. ‍♀️

Negative experience: I was behind a car from Branch's Driving School and the student was driving all over the road, crossing the double yellow line multiple times. If I didn't know there was a student driver, I would have assumed them drunk. The instructor obviously had not control and waved their hand out the window whenever someone honked at the VERY bad driving. Do not go here if you want your kid to learn to drive safely.

Negative experience: Enrolled for 2 lesson. Attended one for learning parallel parking skills as i was lacking in that. Driver came was experienced driver but could nt able to tell me the exact concept of doing parallel park. I appreciate their time but they dont have time to get true feedback from customer. They dont give 5 mins extra to the sessions and very strict to timings. I wish them good luck for doing business in Syracuse.

He was extremely kind, meticulous and helpful in guiding me and giving me tips and useful information, which enabled me to pass the test on my first attempt. Fantastic experience: I was skeptical about doing driver education in order to get my drivers license. I had a mentality that instructors would be annoying and rude like some DMV instructors. It was the complete opposite with branches! Lisa M did a phenomenal job teaching the five hour course. Other students in the zoom call said the same thing. Sam P Taught my first driving lesson. Sam and I did parallel parking and a three point turns from scratch and he explained them really well. Matt M Taught my second driving lesson. Matt was a little more stricter on what we went over. However he did point out exactly what the DMV was getting me on on my past 5 failed Road test attempts. My only regret is I should’ve chose Branches Driving School from the beginning! I took my road test December 10, 2020 and passed with no points whatsoever! THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience: I’ve learned so much about driving than I have ever did before I signed up for the lessons. It was really worth it, when I took my road test for the first time i failed because I did not know much as much as I know now about parallel parking and watching my speed. After I took the lessons from Branches I took my road test and passed, I would recommend anyone to come here if they really need help with driving it helped me a lot.
