Fantastic experience: From R.Smith I really enjoyed this program It took me a little longer to pass my CDL but the teachers were very patient, enjoyable and understanding to me being a new learner. I would recommend everyone and anybody to come here and know this is worth your money, and time to the jump start of your CDL

Fantastic experience: My experience with CFI trucking was very beneficial. The instructors i worked with gave great detailed information. Throughout my classes I gained the much needed confidence to know I would pass any test taken. They were able to spot the things I needed the most work on and equipped me with the best techniques to overcome any challenge. I 10 out of 10 recommend this school.

Fantastic experience: I had a good experience with CFI. The instructors Gary, Calvin and LIV was cool and have a lot of experience. They definitely worked with my work schedule and with me having to renew my permit because I only had 1 month before my permit expired so I had to renew my permit. LIV gave me last minute instructions that really helped me pass my test the first time!!

Negative experience: I’m sorry but this was a terrible fit for me. I couldn’t do it. just go to a school if you don’t have your permit. This isn’t for first timers. Maybe the people who gave good ratings have some type of ties with Kevin and the crew and when I say crew I mean you’ll never get the same instructor. This was a waste of my time. I’m now in a school that actually have a curriculum.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend CFI. The instructors are experienced drivers that are first class and knowledgeable. They will fit to your schedule and care about each student’s success. Show up on time and work hard and they will give you all the resources you need to pass the CDL test and more. They went above and beyond writing letters of recommendation on a moment’s notice. Good luck to everyone out there.

Fantastic experience: CFi trucking is a great school! Do they have the best tractor trailers compared to other schools no, But it gets the damm job done Trust me! Come self motivated! Ain’t no room for baby me attitude. Study your pre trip and in-cab religiously. Listen to the instructions of the instructor he or she knows what they talking bout. Kevin and crew will put you in position to succeed it’s up to you to follow thru and execute.

Fantastic experience: Keven, Andrew and John were all great to work with at CFI. Easy to schedule a time of day for class that worked around my schedule as a business owner. Also scheduled my Skills tests at Mva too. Even when i was working on the west coast they scheduled a time I could come back and knock the test out. A great value, I accomplished the same thing I could of done at other schools for probably half the price if not better. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: Flawless. I passed my MVA test for class A with flying colors the 1st time. The federal government has a new system, but CFI made my journey from a class B to A simple. Scheduling with Kevin was a breeze and my instructor Corey was courteous, patient and knowledgeable. Ivy couldn't have been faster with my paperwork..I am so grateful for CFI

Negative experience: If I could give this place zero stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. the gears are all burnt out on all the trucks some of the trucks the air pressure constantly drops. You never really have the same person training you. It’s a rush course and you only get hour and half of training two times a week that just isn’t enough time. If you need extra training they charge you. The trucks are trash the truck they send to the mva for test day isn’t any good the gears will be burnt out and it may have other issues also missing lights crack in the windshield or anything. Don’t go here at all. Go to 160 driving academy and give yourself a real chance without being stressed out with trucks that actually run good. And CFI don’t use 53 foot trucks they use 28 foot trucks which is the worst and the hardest to control when backing up or parking. Also ppl just walk across the lot while you are training it’s crazy.

Negative experience: Stay far away as possible, they are a rip off manager is never no where to talk too

The 1 on 1 classes were extremely helpful after my 6 week course I easily passed the CDL A test on the first try. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get their CDL!

Negative experience: This company is a joke one of there trucks was on my street nocking tree limbs off trees and damaged my car I talked to two different employees and was told the owner would reach out.. that was over two weeks ago this is shameful you let your students cause damage to personally belongings and agricultural and don't seem to care at all who gets hurt in the process of them making a dollar I assume he now has his cdls so I seriously suggest this business be looked into

They showed me how to do and what to do and of course you have to do your part with the extra effort and homework, today l passed all my tests first try and got my license. Fantastic experience: I have a full time job and a business to run. CFIs flexible schedule allowed me to get my CDL A license in under 3 months from starting the school. Ciara does a good job communicating the information from MVA CDL test guide, which is the exact test you will see on test day, into something that will help you pass your test the first time. She points out areas that the examiners will fail you on which is very important for any CDL student to know. Additionally, the lower cost of the school made it a no brainer for me to add such a critical money making skill(CDL License) to my resume. I appreciate Kevin and the entire school for helping to get me to the finish line and passing my CDL test.

Fantastic experience: CFI is the only place in baltimore to obtain your CDL A. The one on one training is unmatched and Ciara will get you right in order to pass your CDL test on the FIRST try. She is patient, well reversed and an excellent instructor. Definitely recommend! I really appreciate the time and attention that my instructor Ciara gave me with the ins and out when it came to really learning how to maneuver that rid.at first I was a bit nervous about learning to drice a semi . I must say hell yeah I'm impressed great job.

Fantastic experience: Man let me tell y’all CFI CDL Training is the place to be. My training was 6 weeks in total. Mr. Kevin the training manager was very accommodating. Special shout-out for Ciara she went above and beyond to help me get my pre-trip down pack. After trying several weeks on my own to to understand the pre-trip I was able to learn the entire pre-trip in just 3 days. Thanks you to the entire CFI training staff !!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I am proud to say that I obtained my CDL license at CFI. My experience was good knowing that the staff had patience, and was determined to see my success. I was so nervous spending hours studying the Pre - Trip only to find it much easier with a staff member name CIARA who took the time out to answer many of my questions at numerous times. She made it much easier by narrowing it down to just exactly what to focus on, the correct wording and concentration. Ciara I appreciate you! I followed her advice and passed the Pre - Trip. I wanna thank everyone who was apart of my success.

Fantastic experience: I normally don't leave reviews. After my 6 weeks at CFI, I have to this time. Apply yourself and take it serious or you don't belong in a trucc on the road anyway. Great experience with management down to trainer's. Kevin worked with my awkward schedule with no problems. Never hassled me for payment and each trainer takes you as a personal case. Credit to Justin being on top of my double clutching and the motivation. Ciara, the pre-trip specialist made sure I knew the entire pre-trip with no slipping. Taking my calls in the early morning hours and even late night to help me study. She was more excited then me at my test. Her energy was great each day, ready. I can't thank her and the entire CFI enough. Well worth the low price and exceeded my expectations. Bonus... Good carry out in walking distance

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Gary and Paul I got my CDL in the first go around. I enjoyed my time and learning from each of the instructors. They are known and busy so scheduling will be an issue and at times I had to wait for week or more to get a class but I was okay with it (your situation be different). I definitely like the way of teaching it’s not your formal training more so old school kinda training in which Gary will even talk to you in a higher tone but hey it’s works for me so I don’t mind. They are there to work with you at your own pace and make sure you are fully ready before the test. Thanks Gary and Paul you guys rock!!!

Negative experience: I called 3 times, it took over a week for them to get back to me. When I mentioned that, the gentleman (and I use that term loosely) told me to find a different place and hung up, thus having made finding a different place a no-brainer. They have seemingly lost sight of who works for whom. I'm paying them, not the other way around.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Gary for your patience and flexibility with the classes and test dating. This is a great school school to go to if you are a fast or slow learner and have experience or not they will work with you 100% of the way and great for a person already with a job they will work with you at the pace that suits you. Fantastic experience: I just finished up school at CFI and took and passed my test on the first try! Never been in a semi truck in my life prior to that. The guys at the school taught me everything and I highly recommend them. The trucks are a little older yes, but I never had any issues. Paul was my instructor most of the time and he was extremely patient and down to earth, I never felt pressured driving the truck with him. Greg went above and beyond making sure my schedule always worked and got me in whenever I needed it. The school will teach you to PASS THE TEST. Understand that that is what you’re paying for, they aren’t going to teach you the ins and outs of trucking, that’s not what they do. They teach you to pass it, and it’s 100% on you to commit, study and focus because the MVA test is NOT easy. You must study and take it serious. But my experience with them was totally great and I’m so glad I decided to do it. Paul, Gary, Greg, and Jemari, thank you guys for everything! It was a pleasure.

Fantastic experience: What can I say, this guys are simply the best! I passed both my writing test and the final driving test from the first time. Getting CDL is not easy, I studied for three months very hard to pass right away. Don't think the driving school will take the test for you, they'll only teach you how to get it done the proper way!

Negative experience: This school is so unprofessional. If you’re interested in really learning about the field GO TO ANOTHER SCHOOL. The owner Gary doesn’t have the patience to teach nor does he know how to run a business. The equipment is terrible. You practice on trucks that aren’t maintained like they should be to insure safe practice. There’s never anyone in the office. when you call the mailbox is full, when you text there’s no response. You have to show up to get in contact with someone, and most of the time there’s an instructor there that can’t help you, or no one is there at all. I’ve paid additional fees for extra classes just to make sure I am learning. The amount of money I’ve paid out I could’ve went to a school that offered professionalism, organization, more than ONE instructor, job placement and just an all around better experience. This program is more of a refresher course than an actual school to learn a trade for a beginner who has never been in a commercial vehicle. I would like to add that I overcame all the unnecessary setbacks on the “schools” end and pass my test and got my class A but if I had to do it all over again. I would’ve picked another school to attend.

Lot of different schools around DC Baltimore area (be aware and do your own research first))) Point for this school is their expirnce by preparing people for the road over 30+ years. Speaking with Jeff, I was convinced this would be perfect school for me ( Time and Price) He and instructors were very straightforward, highly motivated, PATIENT!!! The Classes were flexible with my schedule, very detailed and informative. Along with excellent and professional the behind the wheel training with Mr. Gary and Mr. Kevin, I was able to get my license easier and main thing SOONER than I had expected!!! They gave me the tools and important skills I needed to get the job done and finally achieve my GOAL!!! Thanks again guys!!!

I was on tight schedule and know that they have lots of students, I told them, and Mr. Garry accommodated my schedule. I also never step foot in the truck before my first class and here I am , with new carrier in hands. I had affordable school, lot of fun and whole team of trained individuals around me.
