Thanks to my incredible instructor, Greg, I passed my driving test on my very first try, and I couldn't be more grateful. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with this driving school! All of the staff were great to work with and their team was extremely flexible throughout the process. Fantastic experience: I was very diligent to research different driving schools for my son who is very nervous to learn to drive. When I found Mercedes Driving School I knew it would be the best for him. It turned out I was right! Because everyone who works for Mercedes Driving School starting with Alexia at the front desk as well as Don the instructor they have all been extremely helpful in helping my son learn to drive. They are very professional, gentle understanding and extremely well organized when it comes to setting up appointments teaching you how to drive and dealing with nervous drivers and nervous parents. I give them a five out of five star rating and highly recommend them to anyone learning to Drive.

Fantastic experience: Very good driving school. I was able to pass and learned how to drive confidently with the help of Daun. If you go to Mercedes driving school make sure to ask for him. He gives you a ton of pointers and even lets you know of any tricks that may come up at your specific testing site. Definitely recommend him!

Fantastic experience: I had all except one of the instructors at least once. They all had different personalities but I appreciated them all. I have to say my favorite instructor I had was Boris. He’s the one I had the most often and made me feel comfortable since my first lesson. I really appreciated his patience and his encouragement. I also liked Greg who I only had twice but he pushed me to parallel park and 3-point turn on just my second lesson. His method was super easy to learn and I’ve perfected my parking ever since. I started lessons on May 12th with 2-3 lessons per week. I took my road test on June 26th which the office helped me schedule and passed with only a 10 point deduction. Overall this driving school was amazing and the instructors are all very helpful. Consistency is key for me. Having multiple lessons a week definitely helped strengthen my skills fast. I’m now a more confident driver.

Fantastic experience: Love this place! So glad I found them online. Don is an amazing teacher. He gives very helpful and thorough tips. I only had two road lessons and today I passed my road test. The staff here is also very welcoming and friendly. To anyone debating whether to pick this place I can whole heartedly say it’s 100% worth your time and money. Thank you guys!!

Fantastic experience: My son took a High School driver Ed class during the pandemic and never had formal driving lessons. He wanted to drive but I procrastinated getting him lessons. A friend recommended Mercedes . My son had 20 lessons with 5 different instructors and passed the road test on his first try. From the moment I called to inquire, the paperwork at the office, the lessons, the road test - everyone was kind, professional and patient. Highly recommend Mercedes Driving School!

Fantastic experience: Just want to say this is an excellent school although I failed my road test but I was so nervous that day I just froze up .I think I had over 50 points deducted but as I stated it wasn’t the school fault it was mines .Don is a excellent instructor please book with Don .I had my second road test with another driving school because I moved but I used the same method that Don taught me and I passed .Got perfect score too.Thanks again . Fantastic experience: I could not have picked a better driving school, this is the best one! Before signing up, I called the office to ask quite a few questions and the gentleman was so helpful. When I went in person to sign up, the girls at the front desk were so kind, patient, helpful, encouraging, welcoming, all you need when you’re about to start something that can be so nervy! They are all so accommodating and understanding. I can’t remember all their names but Alexia is so awesome! She took so much pride in helping me. I was able to schedule my lessons consistently at times that were most convenient for me. My instructor was Don, Thank God for him. He is such a great instructor; patient, kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and really just sincere in wanting to help you be the best driver and pass your road test. They schedule the road test for you, take you to the test, wait with you, bring you back. After passing my road test (on my first attempt), I scheduled 10 advanced lessons with Don to practise and build my confidence using highways etc!

Fantastic experience: I just passed my road test on my first try, so I can say that this driving school has competent instructors. I took lessons with 4 different instructors, but I recommend Melba and scheduled at least 10 of the 16 lessons specifically with her. She taught me everything and gave me the confidence I needed for the road test. I really appreciated the feedback she gave, clear answers to my questions, and her patience. A big plus was how Melba did not display any road rage lol Honorary mentions: Tasos is a good instructor and a cool guy

Fantastic experience: Driving was definitely tough when I started, but my instructor Don helped me pull through. He was very patient but was also very thorough on how to make driving decisions and explained the thought process why. I would not have passed the road test without him. Thank you Don!

Fantastic experience: Overall, I had such an amazing experience and great time with Mercedes Driving School. The staff is incredibly nice, welcoming, informative and accommodating! The girls at the front desk always went out of their way to help me and make sure I was set with everything I needed. I had Greg as my driving instructor for almost all of my driving lessons. If for any reason he was not assigned to me as my instructor, I would always make sure to call and switch to him. I had a serious fear of driving, but Greg was very patient and made me feel super comfortable behind the wheel. His fun-filled and positive energy made me look forward to driving when I once dreaded it. I became a great driver in a short amount of time, I highly recommend this school, 5 stars all around!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy right now. Driving is really something was difficult for me to overcome. But Mercedes driving school made it possible. My instructor Don is the best driving teacher ever. He is patient, encouraging, very detailed and clear about what he is teaching. Everything he teaches is good for me learn not only driving safely but also passing the test.

Fantastic experience: Just passed the driving test! My instructor DON was an amazing teacher. He has been supportive from Day 1 with my driving. He gave great advice that helped me pass the test. He has lots of advice that made parallel parking or turns super simple. He also gave advice that concentrated on what I personally needed and gave me enough practice time AND practice test to make me feel confident in my driving skills. If you want a teacher that is supportive and gives you his honest opinion of your driving skill to keep you and the others safe, DON is the instructor for you!

Two weeks and five lessons was all i needed. I recommend this school fr. they're very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Tasos was great!! I was super nervous to drive since I had no experience at all and the thought of having to take my driving test made me drag my feet in starting to learn, but Tasos was extremely patient and made it so that I was confident enough to pass on my first try! He was great and because of his lessons I am not scared of the road anymore!

Fantastic experience: Just passed my road test yesterday on the first try! Thank you so much to the instructors and staff at Mercedes. The front staff are always so kind and patient. My first instructor Taso is very patient and made me feel at ease since I was a little nervous when I started driving. My second instructor Don taught me all the tricks for the road test and provided me with lots of practice sessions. My third instructor Greg is an excellent listener and provided me with opportunities to practice in areas I needed help with. If you're looking to get your license or brush up your skills, this is where to go!

Fantastic experience: I took most of my driving lessons with Greg and would highly recommend him as an instructor. He is good for drivers of all levels. I had prior driving experience and still learned a couple of tips from him. Greg is extremely patient and detailed. He always reminds you of the basics. He never rushes you and even stayed a couple of minutes late to fully answer a question I had. I had a lot of anxiety for the road test, but he made me feel a lot less nervous about it. Many of the other instructors just teach you techniques to pass the road test, but the tips Greg teaches are good for driving after the road test too. I really appreciated that Greg was so dedicated and caring. He wants everyone to do well. He knows all of your strengths and weaknesses and will tailor the lessons to your needs. I always felt extremely comfortable driving with him. I think that I would not have passed the road test if I had not taken lessons with him.

Fantastic experience: I have not driven in almost 25 years due to a fear of driving. I already had my license and decided to take brush up lessons from Mercedes. This was an awesome choice. My first instructor, Manny was great and very calm. My second instructor, Greg, was very kind and encouraging, he was always teaching and reminding me about different aspects of driving, These instructors helped to break me out of my fear driving and I feel confident in my driving and am easily able to drive. This is especially important since I have a newborn baby.

Fantastic experience: I had my road test today and I’m delighted to say that I passed on my first try. I had Don as my instructor and he was the best driving instructor I could ever ask for. He taught me all the techniques in a way that’s easy to understand. I was so scared at first but he was very kind and patient. He never raised his voice or got annoyed at me no matter how many mistakes I did. I was scared to parallel park but after the technique he taught me, I was able to do it easily. Negative experience: service is very slow, they make you wait 1-2 months just to get your road test appointment, their 5 hour class (pre licensing course) is big waste of time all they do is play a 4-5 hour long youtube video which doesn't even explain any of the rule and regulations, All in all, not satisfied.

Fantastic experience: I had Don Manong as my instructor. He was so chill and easy going. He makes you feel at ease when driving. He would find ways to explain things. I had trouble with parallel parking and when he taught me how to parallel parking, it was SO easy. It took me a few tries and eventually I got it. Not once did he yell or raised his voice. I have one word for Don. AMAZING. Please keep him on your payroll. The staff at the school are friendly and helpful

Fantastic experience: Great driving school! Don is super helpful, calm and instructs with lots of helpful tips and tricks. Always maintains his car nice and clean, sanitized. Seamless process for any enrollment, class bookings, pre-licensing courses, etc. Super friendly office staff, especially Athena from the front desk, who helped me tremendously throughout the process and very encouraging and empathetic. Recommend this school to those who are looking for one but don't know where to start.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my road test. Couldnt have done it without my instructor Don. Hes great and when my brother starts his lessons hes also going to go with him.

Positive experience: Really great driving school. Andreas, Don, and Michael are all excellent instructors. Andreas and Don really taught me good tricks in driving, especially with parallel parking. Michael gave me a highway lesson and it was awesome. If anything, I was not taught how to do a U-turn, but I was asked to do a U-turn on the road test. I did pass my road test, but I did not how to do a U-turn. Instead, I just did a normal three-point turn. It would have been nice to pick up on how to do a U-turn. Otherwise, I recommend getting lessons here, especially if you get Andreas or Don. Michael is great too, but only works on weekends.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional and affordable service. As a high school student the instructors are patient and professional. The cars are new and clean. Enrollment is seamless.

Fantastic experience: I had Don as an instructor I had no previous driving experience and thank god I had him he’s patient nice he simplifys and explains things to you so you understand. I took 15 class due to the fact I had 0 experience. I was so nervous but during my test I was getting flash backs of everything he said and thankfully I passed. The people at the DMV are jerkoffs rude and they have the worst attitude but Don let me know this ahead so I was ready for everything. If you have no experience I suggest you ask to have ur classes booked with Don. Best wishes everyone. Thanks Don ur the best!

We didn't think we would pass on our first try since we have no access to a car to be able to practice. I had at the most 1-2 hours of driving experience before taking classes here. But with Mike's chill Sunday lessons we both passed our driving exam on the first try. Really enjoyed taking classes here. Recommend 100%

Fantastic experience: I'm glad to say I passed my road test on the first try thanks to Mercedes Driving School! Don was a fantastic instructor and made sure I was prepared for the test. I only had a little bit of driving experience coming in, and he made sure I understood all the fundamentals. He also taught me many details that I wouldn't have known about if I hadn't gotten lessons from him. He even sent me instructional videos and answered any questions that I had. I definitely recommend getting lessons here!

Fantastic experience: my instructor, Don, was very attentive, patient and great at explaining things. After my first lesson with him I booked 3 more sessions and finally passed my drivers test :-]. The staff were helpful, kind and great with sending follow up texts/notifications to keep you on track with everything. Fantastic experience: I came into this driving school with absolutely zero experience and knowledge with driving. However that changed very quickly for me. With just 10 quick lessons I passed the road test on the first try, without any problem at all. My instructor Don Manong has helped me tremendously throughout the process. He is a very skilled and talented instructor who makes driving very easy and simple to learn. His calm vibe eases any tension you may get on the road when you have little to no experience. Fantastic experience: I didn't drive that much before enrolling into this driving school and had no interest whatsoever. But, having Don as my instructor made driving easier to understand than I originally thought. He is extremely detailed with everything that he teaches and will make sure that you get it perfectly before your test. I was skeptical about passing my test on the first try, but I actually did it! The staff are also nice and caring in terms of getting your schedule for your lessons and everything else. If I would recommend this to my friends and family, then I'll also recommend this to anyone else.

And I also loved the staff in the office, there was an older woman there and she guided me with the right way to schedule my lessons, let me know what would work best and I passed my test on the 1st try.

I would highly recommend you ask for him for all your lessons. It was also easy to schedule lessons and get info from the office.

Fantastic experience: I would 100 percent recommend anybody to come here for driving lessons. I came here for 5 road test lessons 3 with Don and 2 with Taso. Both instructors made everything super easy and very calm. Both instructors were extremely helpful and were great at giving feedback and information when need be. They knew exactly how to help me in the areas I was lacking in. I aced my road test which was truly no surprise. All the management staff is wonderful too nothing but accommodating and very professional, they made everything a very easy going experience! Very happy I chose to come here!

Fantastic experience: Had 5 lesson 4 with Manny and 1 with Don. Manny was like driving with an uncle, calm and casual while giving good feedback. Don was also very nice and calm, a bit stricter than Manny, but he also makes you feel comfortable while giving good feedback and advice. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you are looking to take lessons, very professional and organized people.

Put me at ease, even when I made mistakes he said it’s okay, I’m still doing good.. and I am so delighted to have him as my instructor :-)

Positive experience: I enjoyed my experience. Tasos is an amazing instructor. Kostas as well! Tasos is very kind and made me feel comfortable when I was anxious. I felt as if a parent or a family friend was teaching, rather than a instructor. Tasos’s teaching is very relaxed and provides pointers. His teaching is more intuitive. The service of the place is good too. A driver drove me to the testing site and back to the office. Make sure to cancel/reschedule your appointments 24 hours prior. I also recommend taking your driving classes around the office rather than around your home, it’s empty and easier to learn. Happy that I passed the road test by only taking it once

Positive experience: They’re nice people, but they won’t give you advice or in courage you, it’s like you got to do that on your own… I had George as a Instructor, and he’ll start off with a nice attitude and then he’ll switch up on you with a bad attitude, while he’s teaching you, he’ll give you examples that will make confuse. He will yell at you if you make a mistake… while you’re driving , he’ll talk to you and also want to show you something and say “Hey, where this belong to” like why would you want to show a beginner something. He had a bad odor car and his back seat was messy with a Jewish bible, a shovel and and shoes… then he will tell you that that’s disrespectful to put your stuff on my stuff, but why your car is messy… George would tell you that you’re going to fail and don’t know how to drive, I’ll recommend you not to take him or go somewhere else if you want to pass

I started out without any experience of driving and I am very much happy to say that after taking 10 lessons today I did my road test and passed. Positive experience: I had a great experience while taking my practice test with Kostas , such a great guy very patient and on going. I’ve never met a person who’s giving instructions on how to drive all day with no breaks have so much patience with me.The second i did something wrong he corrected me in a professional way , never raised his voice and is a person open to any questions. He had me prepared up to my last practice test and made sure I had confidence. Only thing i did find odd , my mom accompanied me to my test and I asked a guy who worked there if my mom could stay there while I come back from the test. He seemed like he was having a bad day he gave a rude response and said that it gets busy there and my mom would have to wait outside and then he rushed me out of there. It was my fault for not asking prior to showing up if my mom was allowed to stay there but it was almost 9 and they open at 9 am I didn’t think it would get busy that early as he mentioned and my mom had to wait outside in the cold…….. but if the test took less than 30 min my mom could’ve stayed inside waiting for me instead of being outside in the cold… but overall great experience!!!

Fantastic experience: I just want to say thank you so much to Mercedes’ driving school for helping me gain the courage to get over my fear of driving and finally get my license!!! Passed my road test first time thanks so much Harry. Will absolutely be referring family and friends!

Fantastic experience: They have great instructors that guided me with easy to understand instructions. Everyone was super friendly and it was easy to get comfortable around the wheel with them there. Wouldn't have done it anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Mercedes Driving School for your driving lesson needs! The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. The instructors teach you all you need to know using a step-by-step process as well as make you feel comfortable on the road, even the highway. Safety was always priority and I felt all my needs were met. It was an overall postive experience from communicating with the office to sign up and book the lessons to taking the pre-licensing course and driving instruction. I am pleased to say I passed the road test on the first try. I am one happy customer!

Negative experience: there is one instructor, george, who no one likes. not only this, but he brags about how no one likes him and how he makes kids cry. not only he is a bad instructor who believes you should know everything after he says it once, but he is also an unlikable person. he likes sharing his conservative religious beliefs during every driving lesson, and often asks intrusive questions because he was never exposed to any form of diversity in his life. he is scared of phones because of 5g radioactivity or whatever else facebook moms like to post about. the only reason why he isn't fired is because the driving school likes how committed he is to the minimum wage job, even though it is evident he is bad at it

Fantastic experience: Recommend this place as they cover lessons and the road test. I had a lot of lessons with Mercedes Driving school as I am a learner who likes to take my time and take things slow to learn things . However I did pass my road test on my first try yesterday and am grateful for the lessons! Especially Kostas he was my favorite so thank you!!

Negative experience: I haven’t been here in over a year because this place traumatized me and driving in general. I had a lesson with George and it was the absolute worst and it took me everything to not get out of the car mid lesson and walk home. He was rude, loud (yelled at me if I made any kind of mistake), put the radio on so I couldn’t concentrate, and unnecessarily sarcastic. It was only my second driving lesson ever yet he expected me to know everything and towards the end seeing how upset I was, he still tried to convince me to buy more lessons even though I expressed my discomfort and financial issues at the time. He made my anxiety go through the roof when I was already nervous as is. I cried when I got home because of the experience and haven’t had a driving lesson since or been back to this place even though I still have my driving test scheduled there. It made me reconsider taking anymore driving lessons in general it was so terrible. It took me so long to write this review because I didn’t want to be mean but I think it’s important I share my experience to warn other people against this guy and company. He claims he’s done this for so and so years, well maybe it’s time he retired if he doesn’t have the consideration and patience that new people on the road need to succeed.

Negative experience: DON’T TAKE A CLASS WITH GEORGE “the owner” Today I had a terrible experience with George as my 4th class. From the first minute he was so rude and unprofessional. He made me unsecured and stressed driving because he was screaming all the time. After 5 minutes of class, I had to stop and let him know that the way of his teaching was unrespectful. Then he drove me back home fight by himself while driving. I felt bad because he told me that he’s the owner so nothing will change. Better don’t take class with him. There are other amazing instructors except George. He’s the worst.

Fantastic experience: Extremally professional front desk staff & instructors. Great communication with the student drivers, and very patient with scheduling as they are always packed especially during the fall. Passed my road test today. Bouris is a great instructor when he was teaching me he said" I am teaching you just like I would do for my own kids". That was very sweet of him. Definitely recommend going to Mercedes Driving School.

Positive experience: I just passed my road test . Thank you George for being a good teacher, love to yell and joke after and Lil late always. After all was a great experience. I do recommend Mercedes driving school.

Fantastic experience: Brought the 10 lessons pack and got my 5 hour class included as well for a decent price! Completed all my lessons with different teachers and passed my road test today with a great score! Really nice people, great company, and amazing teachers! Highly recommend:)

Fantastic experience: My 16 year old son just passed his road test today at Whitestone. We signed him up for 20 lessons, 3 days after he received his permit. This auto school really helped prepare him for the road test. His instructor was Gustav, who was just wonderful. Everyone at Mercedes was always totally supportive and professional. I highly recommend this driving school!

Negative experience: Educate yourself and read the restrictions of the DMV site if you live in Queens. If your child is under 18 they cannot legally drive in NY city unless they have a senior drivers license. This requires an MV-285 which is not offered by Mercedes Driving school. My child went through the 5 hour course and 10 driving instructions w/ Mercedes Driving school. The driving instructions were ok. We drove with my son a lot in Long Island to help him practice. He passed the test on the 2nd try. Now he cannot drive in Queens until he turns 18…..or he enrolls in a different type of class for another 500$. Mercedes Driving school tells the student they will get a Junior driving license. They don’t tell the parent who is paying the bill. Please read up on the requirements and understand the NY State laws before paying any money.

Fantastic experience: Very professional from start to finish. Instructor was great. My daughter received reminders before every lesson and the instructor was punctual every time. Was an excellent experience and she passed her road test on the first try. Would highly recommend.
