Fantastic experience: This was my first ever Zoom experience and I was a nervous wreck on top of getting a traffic ticket. Ron Giboney was patient and easy to understand. He carefully repeated important points during the class. I learned a few new things too. I was relieved that the class was broken up into segments and we were given 15 minute breaks each hour. I haven't taken a final exam in over 50 years. I am very relieved to have passed this class.

Fantastic experience: Karlene was very helpful and patient. She's not overbearing at all and lets you take control of your lesson, only stepping in when she sees you need help. She takes her time and explains things over and over again without a problem or attitude. She was a great instructor, very encouraging and proactive. If you're in the Alpharetta or Johns Creek area of Georgia, do not hesitate to book with her.

Fantastic experience: Loved the pin point feedback and training provided by the trainer. As I had experience of driving in India the trainer said skills were good only taught me the rules of driving in US. Did not waste my money just for the sake of it. Thanks for the crisp training.

Fantastic experience: It was easy to get driving lessons scheduled for my teen, and he was very comfortable with his instructor. She gave him good tips, solid advice and made it fun. He's much more confident behind the wheel now.

Negative experience: I have been trying to get in touch with these people for over a month and left numerous voicemails. No one is returning my call so i can take the classes i paid for.

Fantastic experience: I took lessons with Essud Fungcap Jr., and he was great! I highly recommend. He's very calm and familiar with the roads, so instructions are easy to follow. He's also very informed about road rules and is happy to answer any questions. Great experience!

Fantastic experience: Scheduled all my classes with Essud Fungcap. For a person like me with no prior driving experience and a lot of anxiety about driving, he was exceptionally calm and thorough in his explanations. He turned driving into a fun experience and I had no problems clearing my driving test! Highly recommend the school!

Positive experience: (Update) Happy to say I heard from the director Mike and he quickly resolved the issue ——- I am NOT ONE to write negative reviews but my experience with this school is INSANE!!! I am trying to complete my sons last 4 hours of driving lessons and I haven’t been able to get any type of communication or a returned phone call from anyone. In all fairness, the Joshuas law classes at the John Creeks location were fine, but my experience at the Alpharetta location has been ridiculous.

Negative experience: Hands down THE LEAST PROFESSIONAL COMPANY I"VE EVER ENTERACTED WITH. The teenager (early 20s?) who answers the phone is quick to cop an attitude. Once she warmed over and got us booked for the Joshua's law classes I was stuck with Caree who was supposed to send my ex the links to set up an appointments. She sent her a link to a blank template. Tried to call to figure out why half the drivers didnt have appointments that could be scheduled and why all the appointment times were in school hours, the teenager (early 20s?( girl who answered would just put me on hold indefinitely. One time i wanted to see how long it'd take for them to answer after putting me on hold... 30 minutes! and every time I called back she'd pick up the phone and say "Hold Please" and back to indefinite nothing. In the time it too my ex to schedule with this company for the joshua's law classes and 6 hours through the grant program, I was able to get my son two six hour courses at another school that isnt grant approved yet. That's pretty pathetic. Oh and my ex said that they make kids who are paying by grant choose their classes last. How pathetic is that?

Negative experience: I paid around July, in August I booked a driving class for my son from 3rd of November, they called me to change my dates on October 30th which is upsetting coz I’ve got plans, I accepted the dates it’s was change to, only to receive an email few days later that my dates are changed again, but this time I have to go look for dates myself and couldn’t find any until next years which is frustrating and they’ve refused to refund me. Also the representative is extremely rude, unprofessional and lack Etiquette.

Fantastic experience: Great place to go if you need to do a Risk Reduction Program. All the free coffee you need for keeping those eyes open. The instructor was very knowledgeable on the material for the class. Videos were helpful if you needed a better understanding of what was in the booklet. At first I was really dreading the class as far as the hours that I needed to complete for the certificate, but in the long run, the class was really interesting.

Negative experience: Surprised! I anticipated this would be a waste of 20 hours of my life, but I actually found it valuable and enjoyable. The instructor, Juan, couldn't have been better, in all regards, and the woman who signed me up was very pleasant and helpful. I would have given this review 5 stars, but gave it 2 stars because of the facility. This convenient Roswell location is moving to a new space nearby next month, November 2018, but they should have gone ahead and moved. The photos on Google were completely misleading. The class was actually conducted in what was left of a strip center that was being demolished for new construction of some kind. It was literally in the middle of a large construction site! The place was a dump! Although I wasn't expecting it, there were no snack foods or pizza as another reviewer mentioned, but that would have been nice. There were also no cups or sugar (a student had to go out and buy some) for the coffee, and no paper towels in the restroom. We kept hearing, "We usually have..." The chairs were all completely worn out, and should have been replaced long ago. Considering the poor facility, I feel like I shouldn't have been charged the same as others who had their class in a nice facility.

Fantastic experience: I was dreading going to this 20 hour class. But once I met the instructor, Juan, and the others in the class, I felt that it was going to be just fine. Juan was a great instructor! I learned a lot of things about myself that I hadn't paid attention to so much in the past. I would highly recommend anyone facing adversity of any driving related issues to seek A-1 as your guide. This is an excellent school. Thank you A-1

Fantastic experience: I wasn't sure what to expect for defensive driving, but Mr. Zimmerman made it as entertaining and informative as possible. I actually learned a lot more than I thought I would, and a bunch of random rules. I found the tips of what to do in emergencys really helpful too.

Fantastic experience: I had to take defensive driving at the Roswell location. Mr. Zimmerman was great and kept the class relatively fun and interesting. I really appreciated how smooth the process was and I received my certificate the Monday after my course. All in all a positive experience!

Fantastic experience: Had to take a defensive driving course, and this location was great! Classroom had comfortable chairs; the instructor spoke clearly and explained things well. They give you a good amount of breaks, so you are not stuck inside for six hours. Overall, they made the mandatory course quite bearable, and I would take classes with them again. Edit: although my opinions in this review are honest, I received a small amount of compensation for writing it.

Fantastic experience: Great place to get any of your driving needs taken care of. Great personable instructer that was able to answer any of my questions and kept me engaged the entire time! The entire staff was wonderful and the location couldn’t be better! Great place to go!

Positive experience: I took a one day class to reduce insurance premiums and it was okay, nothing special. The facility is relatively small and conveniently located in a strip shopping center. The classroom I was in had 22 students. There were no windows and it was furnished with old/chipped tables but comfortable, adjustable chairs. There are at least 2 classrooms but just one toilet for everyone. I received my certificate of completion very promptly via email. Note: 5 star reviews are encouraged by the General Manager but my honest assessment is a 3.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant instructor at the Roswell location. The instructor was well-versed with the information to be presented. Time flew by and I was reminded of some driving rules I completely forgot about. Who remembers that you are suppose to signal when backing out of a parking spot? I totally forgot. I will definitely have my children take this class at A1 Driving School. Very easy process to pay online, sign in onsite, and good stuff in the vending machines.
