Fantastic experience: Excellent experience! From the pre-course with Vladimir, to the amazing lesson and road test with Leo, everything went smoothly and great. Passed on first try thanks to all the tips from Leo!

Fantastic experience: Leo is an excellent instructor, knowledgeable and patient. I would recommend this driving school and Leo to anyone who has only limited time to invest in learning how to drive and pass the road test in a short time.

Positive experience: Paige is literally the best instructor loved her shes super knowledgable and attentive during every lesson. I also took the 5 hour pre licensing lesson with Vlad and he was the best, and gave very helpful tips which very relevant to what I faced in the road test. The only qualm I had was with the issues I had when it comes to scheduling the actual road test as the instructors who you do the lessons with might not be able to take you to the test or the car you practice in might not be available either. You can either wait longer for a better test date but since I wanted to finish it asap I was at a disadvantage as I had to adjust to a new instructor and car on the day of the test. Other than that, the school was super responsive and helped a lot with the quick scheduling of my test and pickup on the day of the test. Passed on my first try after 8 lessons :)

Fantastic experience: I can’t be more thankful and appreciative of the service I got here, the price is right and they guide you trough the whole process, even if you haven’t still get into the school they already help with info. Leo was my instructor and I couldn’t like him more, he was very personal and speaking perfect Spanish and English at the same time was for sure a plus. If you need guidance to get your driver license, they are the right people.

Negative experience: This place scams its instructors out of pay, only pays them for the lessons themselves but not for the time it takes them to drive the company car to the lessons, doesn't provide lunch breaks, etc. Ends up being less than minimum wage. Go to a driving school that pays its employees fairly and treats them right!

Fantastic experience: Lukas did an awesome job in helping me pass the road test. The road test package (licensing course + 1hr prep & pickup for the road test) is a perfect fit for someone who already has a license from abroad. They do a great job at teaching you the essentials.

Negative experience: Don't use this driving school!! I used to work here and the owner would scam the instructors out of pay and would end up illegally paying less than minimum wage! Avoid this place if you can!!!

Fantastic experience: I had no driving experience and was initially anxious as an adult driver. However, Paige was so amazing in helping me build my driving skills as well as my confidence. She was patient, calm, polite and such a great motivator! Her positive words of encouragement, teaching style, tips and tricks about learning to drive and passing the test were super helpful to me. They start preparing you for the road test from Day 1, while giving pointers about what to do and not to do when you’re faced with a day-to-day situation on the road. I took 10 lessons with Paige and other instructors (btw all of them are great and knowledgeable although have different teaching styles). I also took the 5 hour pre-licensing course with them and Vlad provided practical tips and useful information about driving and passing the test. They also have a YouTube page with videos showing their parallel parking and 3-point turn techniques. Thanks to the school and especially, Paige, I passed the road test on my first attempt! I highly recommend them. Their professionalism and communication are top notch!

Fantastic experience: I'm an anxious adult driver who has never gotten her license. I've tried a few times but found driving too stressful. I'm incredibly grateful to Vlad and the other instructors-- they are so patient, kind and helpful. I never feel judged even when I make a silly mistake, and they are so great at meeting you at whatever comfort or skill level you are at. I can see myself learning and for the first time, I actually think it's possible I will get my license. I cannot recommend this school more.

Fantastic experience: I had never driven in the United States, let alone NYC! I purchased the 10 hour driving course package and started my lessons with Paige, she was very attentive and helpful in all aspects of driving and learning all the specific maneuvers for the road test. The school was great at scheduling my lessons weekly and very communicative. I also took the 5 hour pre licensing course with the school and Vladimir was a great teacher, giving you absolutely every bit of info you need to know and preparing you for the final road test. I took the road test today and PASSED! If you want to learn to drive in NYC I cannot recommend this school enough! A++++

Super supportive, friendly, and patient. I passed my driving exam on my first try! And huge huge shoutout to Ferrisa who took me to the exam, gave me my pre-exam lesson, and offered a lot of moral support after the exam when I was afraid I failed. She was an absolute boss the whole time.

A couple of my friends had suggested the driving school and it didn’t disappoint, had a lesson with Vladimir a week before my road test and then had a lesson with Johnny on the day of the test and used the driving school’s car. Fantastic experience: Just finished a lesson with Ferissa. This is my third lesson overall and my first lesson with her. She was amazing, very patient and attentive. At the end of the lesson she gave me tips on what I could do to make my driving better and told me my strengths in driving. I’ve had an amazing experience so far with this driving school. Fantastic experience: As a new resident of nyc from France I had to take the road test again to have the right to drive in the usa. While it was not a good news, Vladimir and the team have been more than a perfect choice for this journey. I took the full Road test package together with one lesson to get used to the car and pre-requisite. My spouse and me passed on the first try. Fantastic experience: On Dec 28, 2021, I wrote down my 2022 goals. These goals included finally learning to drive and getting my driver’s license. I’m in my mid-30s and finally decided that it was time to get over this fear! Spoiler alert: I passed the road test (on my first try) and now have my license. NowIwanttIdrive driving school was the best from beginning to end! Johnny is a star, a cheerleader, really the best hype man ever but also a great instructor. I had no prior driving knowledge (like I didn’t know brake from gas) and he helped me become safe and confident driver. He did this by giving helpful feedback that he pushed me to absorb and improve on, while still being patient with me. Every lesson built on the previous lesson. Day of the road test, I was nervous but I knew he’d taught me to drive, prepared me for the test and that confidence was invaluable. I passed and only got 5 points (one small error)! I can’t recommend Johnny enough as a driving instructor but he also because he has a beautiful spirit, which in nyc, is nice to see. Finally, Olga was also a gem and gave me many (and I mean many) encouraging pep talks, worked with my busy schedule and encouraged me all the way. If learning to drive and getting your license is your goal. Look no further!

Olga, as the main point of contact was equally responsive and helpful in coordinating and organizing everything from beginning to end. I can't recommend this school enough.

Fantastic experience: After successfully taking the pre-licensing classes and lessons and getting my license in May I decided to come back for the Highway driving class. My instructor was Johnny for the 10 hour package and it was the best experience. Overall the school was great at communicating and planning everything, they were able to accommodate my schedule. Fantastic experience: I booked a couple of sessions with them and got a great deal out of it. Absolutely no way I would have been able to pass my driving exam on such short notice without them. Olga worked her magic to find me an appointment within a week of me signing up. Joseph gave me valuable tips related to parallel parking, among other things. And finally I had an absolutely wonderful time with Vladimir, as he put me through my paces for 90 mins right before the test, and then drove me there and back. Fantastic experience: AMAZING. Seriously, even if you are Manhattan based I would take your 5 hour required DMV course, lessons and test with this team. Vladimir is such a great teacher and he made the 5 hour course really enjoyable! Also their courses are $45 (Sunday special), while some places try to up-charge you to over $50. They are very communicative; amazing and quick on text; and very flexible with lesson schedules. They were also so knowledgable - they helped me pass my test in 2 weeks and were kind enough to let me know of a last minute cancellation, in order for me to take a lesson before my test. If I could, I would give 10 *!

I had a real anxiety about driving and they put my mind at ease and worked with me during every lesson to perfect areas I was nervous about. Fantastic experience: Great driving school! I had no driving experience at all, so was really nervous before my first driving class. Vladimir is an amazing instructor, who made me feel calm and comfortable while I was driving - he was always patient and kind, explaining everything in detail. The office coordinator Olga helped me to schedule the classes. Before each class She sent a friendly reminder. If I had to cancel or reschedule the class, Olga always tried to find the best option for me. I started taking classes in January (I took 20 driving hours) and last Friday I got my driving license!☺️

Fantastic experience: This review is long overdue. After a rocky start with another school, I finally switched and started taking lessons with NIWTD LLC. I am glad I did. The coordinator/Office assistant, "the Amazing Olga" was a pleasure to communicate with. She was always happy to help and went above and beyond to make sure I could have classes that took into account my very busy schedule. She was very good at always taking feedback and sharing with the instructors. And the bonus was her wonderful sense of humour. My lessons were also very good. I had different instructors but ended up having lessons with Vladimir the owner and he sure does live up to his excellent reputation. He very much cares about his students and was a very good listener. Very patient with me because I was a very slow learner. I also love that they pick you and drop you, which means you actually spend more time driving. The school is not about numbers, but about quality. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Had a great time learning to drive with these guys. Both Vladimir and Joshua were very good instructors for an adult learner with 0 experience. I very much enjoyed the driving lessons and their professional and patient demeanor. Would likely not have passed on the first try, if it wasn’t for their help and guidance. Highly recommended.
