This school doesn’t only teach you about driving but also teaches you valuable life lessons Mrs.Ruiz, Mr.Ruiz and Jordan are amazing at what they do and very helpful and funny the school is a great choice for your kids that want to feel confident getting on the road!!!

Negative experience: Pésimo lugar , no lo recomiendo , te hacen sentir mal , osea no tienen porqué gritarte , los dos señor@s son muy odiosos , no deberia de ser asi , es su trabajo y tiene que tratar con amabilidad a las personas , no entiendo cómo tanta gente le puede dar las 5 estrellas , cuando el 99% de las personas salen con los ojos llorosos del trato que uno recibe ahi desde que llega

Fantastic experience: The teachers are really good at explaining, they give good short breaks so you get overwhelmed. The sells any sorts of snacks and drinks so that you can be refreshed. They also allow you to book driving lessons. Overall its a good school, really interactive and a great way to get your license or permit quicker.

Negative experience: Was told I was “SOL” when asked why didnt they tell me i needed my birth certificate I asked them to write down the things I needed, and they proceeded to give me attitude and told me they weren’t going to write it down. Coming from out of town they somewhat mocked me, saying it wasn’t that far (its 45mins away) I told them I was told my Expired license would be OK but when I showed up there Told me that I was never told that like I was lying

Negative experience: Ok so I signed my kid up for classes because I myself took defensive driving classes thought it would be a great experience for them. These people have a way of making not only the student feel dumb also the parents. Not very professional with their passive aggressive behavior and attitude! Do not go here! Would never recommend this school to anyone!

Positive experience: They can do the MVD on the road “test” in house. This is a terrible idea and after having used this school I understand why the driving situation in Las Cruces is as bad as it is.

Fantastic experience: My experiences with New Start has been nothing but wonderful, not only for myself, but for my children as well! They’re very helpful, and made my experience much easier as I have test anxiety. Lol. 10/10 would recommend.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever, pay not only for my driver license but also to get yelled at and make you feel like a dummy. Wouldnt recommend at all.

Negative experience: Not sure how some of u rate 5 stars with no comment? However, this business is very disorganized. My son completed the school July of 2021, come January 2022 trying to get his provisional license at the MVD we realized the school did not give him all his paperwork! When I called the school they said they’re out of town. I set an appointment to pickup remaining paperwork and they seem confused as if I didn’t speak with them already? When I got to the school the man seem upset like I interrupted his day! Sorry You missed ur tea time good sir! Maybe if we had our paperwork to begin with we wouldn’t be bothering you! Save ur money LCPS offers drivers ED and u can take road test with LEO. Thanks for reading and good luck!

New Start Driving school is the place to go they think about their students not the money going into their pocket not like the other driving schools here in town.
