Pioneer's Driver Rehabilitation Consultants offers a specialized drivers rehabilitation program. To achieve the mobility and independence that driving can bring, collaborate with our team of Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (DRS).
We can assist clients with some disabilities and driving limitations; especially, those drivers who are returning to driving following an injury or illness, such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, amputation, cerebral palsy, and other limitations.
Our program can provide services to drivers with some neurodevelopmental disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and differential diagnosis, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other disorders.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 recommend, I truly had the best experience Mr.Lott was extremely professional, patient, and kind.
Negative experience: I paid for my daughter to do her in-car driving lessons in May, its now mid-July and I still have not been able to get them all scheduled. I have text, called and left voicemail without many of them being returned. We paid $500 and can't proceed with the driving test because of Pioneer Drivers Education School.

Fantastic experience: My son recently completed his driving course with Pioneer Driving School. His instructor was Mr. Lott. Mr. Lott has patience with the younger generation. If a student makes an error, he takes the time to explain "why" something was incorrect. I strongly recommend Pioneer Driving School to any parent that doesn't have the patience to do Parent Taught, who may be afraid of their student's driving or who just find it easier to have someone else teach their student (me). Mr. Lott is indeed Great at what he does.

Negative experience: They “accidentally” deleted my account and tried to make me pay another 65$ for a road test. I called and made them fix my account, I had an appointment i couldn’t make that they wouldn’t let me cancel, and then they tried to charge me 100$ for “missing” the appointment (There was NEVER a no-show fee mentioned). This business is unorganized and they are trying to wring as much money out of people as they can.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend, after research and reviews I chose PDES for my road test! Especially working throughout the week days, the weekend availability is very convenient. I was able to use the company vehicle. With such a great experience and helpful feedback I passed my test. Any questions, comments or concerns you are able to express it. The site explains everything in detail so you are fully prepared. When my nephew is of age he will be attending PDES. Clean and welcoming environment, also instructor ensures you are comfortable in which eases any worries or doubt. Thank you!

Negative experience: Never answered the door also never answered phone call
I'm not able to answer the door as I am driving students all day. When I'm in the building, the door is always open to anyone that may need my assistance. There is a sign posted in the window displaying all of the information that you will need to get in contact with me. I am the owner and proprietor. Please come to the school during the office business hours. Also, if you leave a voice message, I'll return your call. If you fail to leave a message, then I have no way of knowing that you called. Please allow 24-48 hours to receive a returned call from me. I return phone calls once I'm done driving students for the day. We look forward to working with you in the future Kameron.

Fantastic experience: My daughter attended Drivers Education here as well as completed and passed her Road Test today 2/4/2023. I must say that the staff does a really good job with training the students while making learning enjoyable. My daughter always had nothing, but good things to say about her experiences here. I would highly recommend Pioneer Driving School to anyone in need of any of their offered services. Fantastic experience: This place is amazing, the instructor is very clear, very professional but a master at easing your anxiety. Driving is an anxiety inducing task enough for some people without an overbearing instructor, so a kind man with a couple jokes and a relaxed demeanor makes the whole process easier. I can't express enough how worthwhile it is to take your driving school or road test exam here rather than anywhere else.

Negative experience: Payed $65 for the Online self paced course. But every time I tried to arrange classes, the website said "No Classes have been scheduled in your region". I waited for a month and sent 3 emails to try and resolve the issues. But nothing happened. Now, I tried to login to get a refund and they deactivated my account because I can't login or reset my password. I have been scammed, so be warned if you live in the Dallas Fort Worth area in Texas. Theses people will take your money and ignore you until you give up trying to learn from them. Update: The owner has the gall to say I didn't follow the login instructions when I did. It's not my fault you can't update a website and actually say when classes are available, it also doesn't help that you first say you didn't receive emails or voice messages, then you never email someone enrolled because of issues. You stole my $65 bucks, and you can keep it. I'm not taking this review down. I'm going to go to the TDLR and actually find someplace that will work with me instead of playing the victim. Good day. Note: Odd how you never replied to my emails or voicemails yet you quickly responded to a bad Google review. What gilded age are you living in sir? Learn to run a business with actual customer service.
Mr. Williams Sheets, this school did not scam you. You failed to read and follow the login instruction on the website. That's totally your fault. It’s not the school fault if you failed to read the login instruction. I'm attaching the instruction from the website which you failed to follow so you can see your mistake. SPECIAL NOTE 1: After completing the registration and paying for your course, go directly to the email that you provided during registration. You will receive a notification email from Teach Safe. SPECIAL NOTE 2: You must reconfirm your email address, your username and password. After confirmation is completed, you can start the course immediately. There is no need to return to PDES to start the courses. Only return to PDES' website to register for the permit test which is given at Pioneer, not on-line. Now, after calling any business, if you can't reach them, try leaving a message. The business don't know that you called if you fail to leave a message. I never received any email from you either. Hopefully, in the future, you will read all the instructions prior to registering. Your account is still active; however, I will deactivate it today and send you a refund in the mail. Good luck in the future with your drivers education endeavors. Mr. Lott / owner

Negative experience: This is one of the worst School ever!!! You paid for the class and they want you to fight for opened slot. Took over 9 months and my child still haven't completed his driving course. And when you want to cancel and get your refund, they will cheat you out of your money. I signed my child up for a different school and it was done in 1 weeks. JUST FAIR WARNING TO PARENTS THINKING OF PUTTING YOUR CHILD IN THIS SCHOOL!!! DON'T OR YOU WILL REGRET IT. I would give it Zero star if I could.
Thanks Trung for choosing to Pioneer. Please remember, it's a team effort, parents included, to get a student through drivers education. The parent must schedule their child's appointment at the driver's license office to pick up their permits. Pioneer has no control of the backlog at the Driving License Office. Pioneer has no control of when you schedule your child to take their driving lesson. The parent chooses the lesson. The parent must also drive the child 30 hours to help them develop; however, you were hands off in this area. It was overwhelming to him and showed during his lessons. Lastly, it's takes over 9 months to complete this process. The law in Texas requires all teens to hold their permit for 6 months prior to taking the road test. What you experienced is normal. Your expectations are unrealistic. I will.accept your review of Pioneer. Please accept my reply to your review. Mr. Lott
Fantastic experience: Pioneer Driving school made everything about teaching my granddaughter driving easy! Mr. Lott was friendly and professional which made her comfortable going through the driving process. He also made my experience with a driving school wonderful to the point where my next granddaughter will be in his class.

Fantastic experience: Pioneer Driving School was absolutely helpful with my driving experience. Ms. Holloway was a wonderful instructor to start off while Mr. Lott and Mr. Williams fully supported me throughout the driving lesson experience. Mr. Lott let me know everything I needed to know and prepared me for a lot of different situations. Mr. Williams was a great teacher in solidifying everything I learned which made every moment of learning to drive and behind behind the wheel fun! Fantastic experience: Pioneer Driving School, Cedar Hill sets the standard for premier customer service and outstanding management. The online/in person training and parent communication were highly impressive and went beyond our expectations. The teaching staff are engaging, passionate, and truly care - all the staff I've encountered were helpful and kind. And then we met Mr. Lott, what a genuine gift to humanity. He helped my grandson build confidence and awareness behind the wheel with a unique kindness, patience, and humor. My grandson didn't want his lessons to end, but in a sense, they never really do, because he's a part of their subconscious now. Driving lessons with Mr. Lott are life lessons. He takes the stress out of the most stressful milestone and makes the roads a lot safer. I'm a better driver now, and I didn't even take the class. Thank you for your professionalism and patience

Negative experience: The ONLY instructor who is also the owner is over booking students knowing he can not accommodate the enrollees. He takes your money and then ask the parents to become a instructor because he is the ONLY person running the whole business. Students are not able to complete their training due to there is only this (1) instructor who claims to be the Owner. Should not be in business!

Negative experience: We have been calling almost everyday trying to schedule a time to pick up the paperwork to go apply for my daughter's permit and no one ever answers. Please tell me what I need to do or who I need to contact. Thanks UPDATE: When came into your office, I told you that I would delete the review at your request but I decided not to because you were very unprofessional when I came up there. You tell my daughter to have me come in and you THOUGHT you were about to put me in my place about this review by trying to talk to me like I was one of your kids but you were sadly mistaken. You sir are unprofessional. Learn how to conduct business professionally. I stand by my review and I uphold it.
On July 14, 2021, Ms. Regina Scott and her daughter came to Pioneer Driving Education School to pick up her daughter's paperwork. I asked Ms. Scott why did she write the review on July 12th and why did she give Pioneer a one star rating. She told me that since she could not reach anyone on the phone, she knew that this review would get Pioneer's attention. She is correct! It got my attention. At the end of our conversation, Ms. Scott stated that she would remove her review. Since Ms. Regina Scott still hasn't removed her review over a month later, it's time to reply to her review. During her visit, I told Ms. Scott that I didn't know that she had called. She stated that she called numerous times and no-one answered. Ms. Scott also stated that she did not left a voice message. I told her that if she don't leave a voice message, then I have no way of knowing that she called. She stated that her daughter also called several times; however, her daughter didn't leave a voice message until July 12, 2021. I returned her call on July 13th and we met on July 14, 2021. I told Ms. Scott that I went back and reviewed their call history and her daughter's school record prior to our meeting on July 14th. Ms. Scott's daughter finished the class on July 3rd. Her daughter called the school several times between July 3rd thru July 5th. I told her that the driving school was closed from July 2nd - 5th in observance of the July 4th holiday. Ms. Scott stated that she called at 10:30 PM on Friday, July 9th and several times on Saturday, July 10th and Sunday, July 11th. I told her that the school is closed on weekdays at 5 PM and all day on weekends. The school's hours of operation is stated in the school's voice message and on Google where she left her review. I repeated to her several times that if you call any business when they are closed and don't leave a message, then that business has no way of knowing that you called and more than likely, you will not get a call back. That's why Pioneer has a detailed voice message. We ask the callers to leave us a detailed message so we can call them back. We had a very productive meeting. In the future, Pioneer will try to do a better job reaching out to student after the student has completed their classes at Pioneer.

Fantastic experience: To be very honest I believed that during COVID the class would be boring so therefore I wouldn’t learn anything. To my surprise, the teacher(Ms.Holloway) made the class engaging and fun to attend on the week days. I had a great time in the class and I’m known to day dream A LOT, so that’s saying something.

Our daughter was very apprehensive about driving before we enrolled her into Pioneer driving school. Now she’s confident and excited about the instructions you all provided and now looks forward to getting a car of her very own. Fantastic experience: I went to Pioneer not knowing a thing about driving but in 2 months I was ready to take my road test. The instructors are very helpful and Mrs.Holloway is very funny. I learned everything I needed to know at Pioneer and took my driving test and passed.

Fantastic experience: Amazing instructors Mr Williams & Mr Lott if you have any trouble they will guide you to perfection . Also very funny and will give you tips to keep you safe when you obtain your license and drive by yourself . Teacher Ms Holloway is great and has a passion for teaching, the stuff she teaches you will stick with you . Overall this is a great place for you to go to young people and adults

Fantastic experience: In the school in the matter of weeks went from not knowing the difference between the brake and gas to being able to drive laid back by myself one hand on the wheel. I Love pioneers !

Fantastic experience: The teacher, Ms. Holloway, is very nice and funny. She also teaches well and we watch videos over everything we learn so we can visually and verbally hear what is being taught. Instructor and staff was friendly and we had a good time. Also took mini quizzes along throughout the class to retain our information.

I would like to discuss with you why you feel this way and what Pioneer can do to improve our business. I spoke with Pioneer's instructors about your review; however, the instructors don't recall anyone in their class whose name is Nick Ray. I did not find your name in our database. Is Nick Ray your real name or just an email name? When were you a student at Pioneer? Please identify yourself. After further review, I clicked on your name and discovered that you attended Superior Driving School in Cedar Hill. You also left a review on Superior's website and stated that you attended school at Superior. Within the same hour, you left an unfavorable review on Pioneer's instructors. You never attended driving school at Pioneer. Please stop the madness. Please call Pioneer at 972-637-3131 so we can discuss your review.

Fantastic experience: I sent 2 of my children to this driving school. We live in Lancaster but chose this one in Cedar Hill and I'm glad I did. Mr. Lott is a great instructor and the class is very affordable.
