Negative experience: If you have no prior experience backing up a vehicle with a trailer, stay away from this school. They will provide you with backup training for only 1 hour a day over 5 days, which is absolutely not enough. In this case, passing the test would rely entirely on luck.

Fantastic experience: My experience expectations were pretty good for this place. Obviously not good enough. From Friday to Friday. (One week long) I did not think I could learn something this big in one week but thanks to my instructor I felt like I could do anything with him teaching me. Not sure if I’m allowed to say names but he was the manual driving instructor. He was amazing at his job. He was very thorough with everything he said and there was never a dull moment while being around him. I hope if someone has him as an instructor that they leave a good review for him because he deserves it and is amazing at his job. I messed up quit a bit starting out and he never got mad or aggravated. He stays very calm and always has a good attitude. It was a lot of fun and would suggest him to everyone. If you’re looking for a CDL school. He can teach you in one week and you will learn everything you need to know and have a great time doing it. I hope he sees this so he also knows that he’s doing a great job and thank you for pushing me another step in life.

Fantastic experience: A great school to earn your CDL A w/ Manual Transmission. The instructor Brandon, is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The course schedule is efficient, best option for working professionals needing to earn a CDL. Don't hesitate, call JD and get started on getting that CDL, got mine in less than 2 weeks after I called and registered. Wish I had found them sooner instead of wasting time with other schools that are too long, too expensive and only offer automatic endorsement.

Fantastic experience: How do I start this review? First off I want to thank Brandon who worked with me tirelessly in passing my CDL test. I came down from NYC and passed my test in 1 week. This outfit is definitely what they say they are. They will get you out in 1 week if you pay attention to Brandon and Jason. Jason is also amazing and will get you ready for your road test. You will not take your road test if they do not think you are not fully ready to go. If you are serious about getting your license you need to run down to JD CDL ASAP. After training, I came back to NYC and all the paperwork was set with DMV in NYC. DMV in NYC had all my info ready to go to process my CDL in just a few minutes. I am glad I chose JD CDL for my training. Oh and Suzie in the office is amazing and will get your paperwork in and ready for training in about 10-15 mins on the 1st day of training along with preparing your paperwork for your road test. The entire group is professional and outstanding. I recommend it for your CDL training.

Fantastic experience: This is the place to go if you want to get your CDL in a week! Brandon, Jason and staff are amazing to work with! I didn't have a problem with this as I am already a pretty good driver but I saw the way they worked with others that were having a hard struggling and gave them the assistance they needed to be able to pass their class. They will give you all the knowledge you need for your pre trip and air break inspections! The necessities for your test!

Fantastic experience: JUST GOT MY CLASS A CDL!!! Started school on like May 25th, 2022 had my CDL by June 3rd, 2022. Nice instructors very knowledgeable they keep it simple. Most people we'll start classes on Monday for about 3 hours a day and end up testing and passing that very same week on friday. It took me about 3 or 4 days longer to pass but they were cool with letting me study until I was ready to take the test. I highly recommend studying the pre-trip inspection as much as possible during that week so you are familiar with it. OVERALL I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYBODY THAT DOES NOT WANT TO SPEND 4 WEEKS AND 40HRS WEEKLY AT A SCHOOL THAT HAS 30 STUDENTS. THE 1 ON 2 TRAINING HELPS YOU LEARN QUICKLY.

Fantastic experience: Rushed all the way from Ohio for one on one training with Jason. I was barely prepared my first day and was a little behind on the material. Jason was as patient as I could ask for, he helped me catch up and help simplify things to make them easier to remember. Great teacher and a great person. Learn more with him in a week than my friend did when he attended trucking school in 2 months! His one on one training can not be beat. If you’re thinking about it, do it!!!

Fantastic experience: Jason of JD CDL school is great. If I could give this man 6 stars I would. His program is the only of its kind in the Central Florida area that I could find. His class is 1 on 1 and he does a great job going over the material and teaching the proper techniques of driving a commercial vehicle. Being a business owner myself, I was unable to attend some of these CDL programs that required 8 to 10 hours a day for 3 to 4 weeks I was able to attend Jason school for 4 hours per day, 4 days total. Tested on the 5th day. Passed with flying colors. Amazing program!

Fantastic experience: I had such a fun time here this week. Yes it’s a lot of information and a lot of practice involved but the guys are super nice, patient, and down to earth. Abe is really funny and he never once made me feel like I was a burden (even though I’m aware I must have been a nuisance occasionally). Francisco is also a great guy and he is quite thorough in correcting me when I make a mistake. Fantastic experience: These guys are awesome! Jason & Dru are super nice people, and better yet they help you understand what is expected of you to pass your CDL. I had plenty of experience driving a truck (backing, docking, loading/unloading, driving on public roads with no issues) I was just looking to get a good once over on the practice course and understand what was expected of me. Jason took the time to go through the practice course with me, and Dru tested me the next day and I passed. Thank you so much Dru & Jason you guys helped me so much! As a side note, if you are thinking about going to one of those big schools DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT IF YOU ARE READING THIS (they will take your money and throw you in a group of 20+ students with only about 3-4 trucks and you will get nothing out of it, I made that mistake). If you need help figuring out how to move forward, call Dru or Jason and talk to them about your situation, they have plenty of options and they will help you one on one.
