Fantastic experience: I can't say enough nice things about this driving school. My daughter passed her test on the first try today. The instructors are patient and kind. The school has some of the best communication of any business that I've ever worked with. They are also constantly looking for improvement by asking how they did following a lesson or class. If you are nearby to this part of West Hartford or in Newington I would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I had the best driving school experience possible at Epic Driving School! Coming in as a new student, I had a lot of anxiety about driving. Epic made it so I felt safe with them. Their online classes and flexibility made my driving school experience fully tailored to me! I have to say that two Epic staff members went above and beyond for me in my driving school experience. Thiago, who helps run the West Hartford office at the front desk, made the whole process of signing up and scheduling classes easy. He helped me with all of my questions and concerns and made the process very smooth. Ms. Serrano, my driving instructor, was the best instructor I could have possibly ever gotten. She was so kind and the made all of my worries about driving wash away. She worked through my anxiety with me and taught me everything I needed to know and more. I highly recommend her for all new drivers! My best decision throughout my driving journey was to pick Epic Driving School! Their compassion and care for their students along with their flexibility makes them the best driving school around. I just got my license today and I felt so prepared. Thank you so much Epic for everything!

Fantastic experience: I had a truly wonderful experience at Epic Driving School. My instructor was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient, which made me feel at ease throughout the learning process. The curriculum was comprehensive, covering everything from basic controls to advanced defensive driving techniques. I particularly appreciated the flexibility in scheduling lessons, which allowed me to easily fit them into my busy life. The vehicles were well-maintained, and the facility was consistently clean and welcoming. I would also like to highlight Mr. Thiago (Thiago Freitas Lira), the secretary at Epic Driving School. He was incredibly cooperative and helpful, especially on my test day when he kindly drove me to the DMV. I am truly grateful for his support. Negative experience: no regular driving classes available. I got the second class 2-3 weeks after the first class, there is no point in learning from them if you aren’t able to find regular classes. And the weekend classes are available only after months for my location. Asking a refund for their fault in not having classes available would mean that you have to pay 10 percent of the amount left. Doesn’t make sense!

Negative experience: Not a professional place. Next is a better option.

Negative experience: I recently signed up my son for driving classes at Epic Driving School, but unfortunately, he was unable to start. I called them less than 12 hours after registration (actually, it was less than 6 hours) to inform them that my son couldn’t attend the classes. Despite not attending a single class or driving lesson, they charged a $75 cancellation fee. If you request for the driver to pick up your child from your home, there is only one appointment available online for the entire month of June. Additionally, the representative mentioned that it would take three weeks to process the refund. Unless you are 100% certain that your child will be able to attend the classes, I would not recommend signing up here. The scheduling limitations, cancellation fees, and long refund processing times make it a frustrating experience.

Fantastic experience: Great service and I was able to get my license within 3 weeks!

Negative experience: Google said they were open from 9 AM to 6 PM. We arrived at around 3:45 PM, but the door was closed. We called the number posted on the door, and a young lady informed us that someone was on-site. We waited for about 5 minutes, and a gentleman arrived from a different area in the building – presumably taking a bathroom break. When we asked for information to register our son, he said he couldn't assist us because he had to leave in 5 minutes and directed us back to the number we had just called. Lol! Message received. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience at Epic! My friend and I had enrolled for 8 hr driving classes. Mr Wagner at the reception is a kind gentleman who helped me enroll for my classes as well as schedule my road test. My instructors were Ms Florio and Mr Quiles and they were both kind, excellent and extremely patient while teaching me. Special thanks to Ms Florio for her expert guidance that helped me pass the road test at Wethersfield DMV on my first attempt. Thank you Epic!

We had some scheduling issues, and the very nice couple at the front desk were always more than accommodating for us and our schedule. However, the gentleman at the front desk saved the day and was able to get the certificate. I am super thankful for epic and I ended up passing my test on the first try! My son loved Rick as his driving instructor, Rick was able to teach my son thing that I was just not able to explain while he was learning to drive with me.
