Fantastic experience: My husband and I had a great experience in Wilco School. We were having awesome lessons with Michael. He helped us to refresh our skills and teach us a lot about driving in the US. And both of us had our road test with Victor. My husband passed at his first attempt. And I had to take some extra lessons with Michael and passed at my second attempt. Thanks Michael and Victor we both passed. It was a really great experience.

Positive experience: Wilco Driving School, itself, is great. Scheduling is easy, location is convenient, waiting room is pleasant, administrative staff very helpful. My oldest daughter took her driver's test there with Pete (now retired) and the experience was wonderful. My younger daughter took her driver's test with Michele and it was awful. Michele came marching out like a drill instructor when it was time to begin the test, seemingly in a hurry to get the misery over with. During the test she was not encouraging or pleasant and told my daughter she was not a good driver (although she did pass the driving test). My daughter is not a snowflake and is used to constructive criticism; this interaction was not constructive and certainly did not improve my daughter's confidence. My daughter shared her experience with friends and learned that several others had similar experiences with Michele. I will continue to recommend Wilco Driving School but I will warn friends and family to ensure they do not sign up to drive with Michele.

Fantastic experience: Was helped tremendously by the staff there when Aceable messed up my paperwork. They helped me for over an hour on the phone even though they had other matters. Once it was resolved, the driving test was quick and painless.

They all helped us navigate unique circumstances and issues that had nothing to do with this driving school. Fantastic experience: Wilco driving school was the best decision I made for my son! I accidentally booked the wrong test for him at the DMV, and it took us five months to even get that appointment. The DMV of course was unwilling to work with us, so we were recommended a 3rd party drive test. While the drive test does cost money, it was worth every penny for so many reasons. They were even able to get us into the office in a short amount of time. Its already stressful enough for a parent to have their child driving for the first time, and unfortunately the people (not all of them) are not too patient it seems with parent or teens. I went online and found WILCO driving school, and they had great reviews, their website was super easy to use, and their office is adorable and inviting. Lisa helped us in the office, she was very kind, on time, and delightful to work with. We had Mr Victor as our driving instructor and he made my son feel comfortable, and even made him laugh a bit! He was at ease during his exam, and I can’t say enough about how amazing everyone was that worked here. Thank you guys so much for making this a less stressful experience, we appreciate you all so much! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Wilco Driving school made my experience so much better! I came here to take my Behind the Wheel Test, and I completely forgot to bring a piece of paper I needed. However they tried so hard to fit me in any-day they possibly could because they knew my DMV appointment was coming up which meant so much to me, it showed me how much they truly cared!! I was able to come in today and passed in time for my DMV appointment. Forever grateful for their kindness, thank you so much!!

Fantastic experience: Before heading to college this fall, my son completed six simulator sessions, took a driving lesson and passed the road test within about two weeks. In addition to the driving school, he also practiced driving with me. The simulator was more effective than I expected. It allowed him to experience situations that are difficult for a beginner to encounter while driving, such as animals suddenly appearing on the road. I am grateful to Ms. Lisa and the staff for their dedication in helping him pass his driving test.

Fantastic experience: I took Adult Driver Education at Wilco Driving School, which consisted of four driving lessons, plus a lesson and an exam. (I did have some driving experience almost 5 years ago). I initially picked it because the location was convenient and it had great reviews. The enrollment process was simple and easy - almost everything was either done online or by phone, and the appointment scheduling system was great! Mikhail was my instructor for all four lessons and helped me build my confidence in driving. I really liked his teaching style. He was always polite and respectful. He was also very patient with my mistakes and worked with me to fix them. Mikhail literally cared about every minute of my time. Even though the lessons were one hour each, they were packed with so many activities that it always felt like more than an hour. The level of difficulty increased gradually based on my gained experience, so I always learned something new in each lesson. Ms. Cooper was my instructor/examiner during the lesson and exam. During the lesson she reviewed my driving skills and worked with me together to polish my skills before the exam. Her friendly and respectful attitude helped me stay calm and focused during the driving exam. Overall, I really liked the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Wilco Driving School. From enrollment to the exam paperwork, everything was clear and simple. The people who work there are dedicated and go above and beyond to make sure you achieve success and have an enjoyable experience. I will be recommending Wilco Driving School to all my colleagues!

Fantastic experience: I went in stressed and annoyed. I left relieved and grateful. Vincent seems personable. He made sure to go over everything he thought I needed to know during the course. I have been driving for 18 years and never needed to parallel park. This was the main thing keeping me from passing the test after my license expired. Vincent talked/walked me through it without making me feel ridiculous. The dmv makes one feel harried and takes forever. Wilco was quick and easy. The staff seem kind and like they want to help. Fantastic experience: I had 7 lessons with Mikhail - never sat behind the wheel before him. He was an amazing teacher, explained everything very clearly and thoroughly, made driving fun. Passed the driving exam first try with Misha as my translator and Mr.Vinklarek as my instructor.

She calmed us down, pivoted and sent my daughter out on her way to drivers test. Helped us get straightened out with all the Tx Dmv forms which were a monumental task in itself then walked us through the reservation process upon our child's passing her drivers test. Fantastic experience: I recently went through Wilco Driving School as a first-time adult driver - it was a bit pricey, but well worth it. Without any real prior experience or much in the way of opportunities to practice outside of our one-hour lessons (6 in total) I was able to get up to speed and pass the road test in a little over a week*. I want to give thanks to Jesse Gonzales, Larry and Victor Vinklarek and Mikhail Tutultubu in particular. It was a pleasure learning with yall. *I would still recommend spacing the lessons out and getting as much practice as you can outside of class, I just had a 'soft deadline' involving a job application that made me want to move through things quickly.

Negative experience: Coach Victor was good but my experience with coach Pete was traumatic. He seemed to have anger management issues and yelled on a couple of occasions. I was affected by it and left my classes midway to complete my training at a different school where it was a pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: I went to Wilco barely knowing how to drive MR.T (mike) taught me everything I know today. Mr T helped me overcome my fear of driving and prepared me to pass my test in just a few months. He is extremely patient and understanding and kind. I couldn’t have asked for a better driving teacher. Coming from someone that had a fear of driving for months MR T is the best teacher I Could've asked for and I couldn’t recommend him enough. Fantastic experience: Written by Stephanie White & Posted by José Hernandez: A colleague from my husband's workplace recommended WDS after moving from overseas. She wasn't used to automatics and such, which is also my situation. We have a manual and I took it to every DPS test I had. Overall, on the road, I rarely stall, but parallel parking I do, which they always failed me for. In real life, you are able to have more wiggle room with parking. Anyway, I was tardy for my driving lesson yesterday. Nonetheless, I was able to have a crash course on turning, parking and changing lanes. Mr. Victor was a gentleman. He opened the door for me, spoke firmly yet kindly, and was understanding. He used small talk to calm my nerves. When marking my test score, unlike previous DPS examiners I have had, he walked me through the observation skills I could improve and why they were important for everyone's safety. For example, I have the bad habit of coming to stops forcefully, rather than gently decelerating. He explained I could press the brake pad gently, hold for 1, one thousand, look both ways, creep up for a better view if necessary and finally go. The most helpful tip was a mnemonic for PP he referred to as the 3 Rs and the 3 Ls (look into it). I believe he was honest when he rated my test at 82 and explained that if I wanted to come back to practice driving on the freeway, I could. Although it's an expensive school, you are going to get excellent instruction and people who aren't looking to fail you for the smallest mistake or correctable thing. Two thumbs up!

Fantastic experience: This place is basically proof that the government can't do anything right. Imagine all the problems you encounter at the DMV. Now imagine a place where none of that is a problem (except for the part where you have to go back to the DMV LOL). Every job they take over from the DMV, they do better.

Fantastic experience: My son had extreme anxiety about driving, so much so that he kept putting it off, even well after he turned 18. I chose Wilco Driving School because of their stellar reviews. Sometimes reviews aren't reliable, but in this case, the reviews were definitely accurate! My son took lessons from Mr. Vinklarek, who is a phenomenal instructor. Mr. V's professional, yet calm and friendly demeanor, really put my son at ease from the very first lesson! My son's anxiety quickly faded away, as he gained the confidence to do one of the hardest and most important things a person can do! If you are apprehensive about driving or if you simply want a solid foundation to be a very competent driver, I highly recommend Wilco Driving School. The office staff is also as great as the instructors. Ms. Veronica provided excellent customer service. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner and really helped me navigate through the process of getting a license. I have two other children who will be taking lessons very soon, at my son's recommendation. I was SO nervous for my Driver’s Test, but he did everything he could to calm my nerves. He is the absolute best. I did the check ride + road test and he made sure he answered my questions with the best possible info. I would 100% recommend this place for your Road Test. I cannot emphasize this enough! I’m so happy with my experience here.

Fantastic experience: Coach Victor was amazing. I took the 1h lesson+road test. He has provided me a lot of good advice. I was very nervous before taking the test but he helped calm my nerves by being patient and explaining very clearly what we going to do. I'm highly recommend taking 1h lesson before taking the test. It not only provide you more practice and needed skills but also helps you feel more confident. Because if you are confident and feeling comfortable you can pass the test very easily.

Fantastic experience: As a young adult with chronic anxiety who has tried to learn how to drive before but didn't get the chance due to COVID, I couldn't have asked for better instructors than Wilco gave. I had two instructors, Pete and Victor, over the course of six lessons, and they were great about supporting me and building my confidence alongside my skill set. I also tested with Coach Victor, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Fantastic experience: Classes are very structured and every one teaching at this school are very good. Good inputs are provided during road traffic and parking classes. Recommending for anyone who are looking to practice for the driving exam at United states.

Fantastic experience: I am an adult who moved from China, and I took and passed my road test at Wilco Driving School today, I think this school is awesome for many reasons: My coach is Mrs. Michelle Cooper, she gave me clear instructions, kept me calm during the whole check ride and road test. As an experienced driver, I learnt a lot from her today. And I think the website is very easy to read and easy to get my appointment booked, that is also a good reason to choose this school. BTW, the full ride is in a nice and easy neighborhood(meaning other drivers on the road are not aggressive at all) :)

Fantastic experience: I am a young adult who never learned how to drive as a teen. I have had friends try to teach me how to drive. However, coming to Wilco Driving school has been the best decision I’ve made thus far in my driving journey. I learned important things about driving and safety that I wouldn’t have learned from friends. Victor was THE BEST and I highly recommend him as a driving coach. He was super patient, knowledgeable and had no problem teaching me things over and over again until I mastered it. I now feel confident in my parallel parking due to his method of teaching it. Fantastic experience: I'm so glad we found this gem of a driving school. My son already had his permit but was a little rough on some of his driving skills. Coach Victor put him at ease and was able to polish his skills in four lessons. After that, my son took the driving test with the school which saved us time and headache. Everyone at the school was wonderful from Coach Victor to the administration (Lisa and Veronica).
