Fantastic experience: all the instructors mad informative and so sweet. patient af but will not hesitate to humble u (which is highkey the energy u need in order to pass the road test). all the instructors are willing to match ur energy, communicate, and work with u to improve ur skill. chase is the actual goat helped me do all my maneuvers w/ ease. he showed me pics of his pet cat which was also cool amazing awesome beautiful. i dont know shit bout cars but the ones they use are easy to maneuver, in good shape, and run very smoothly. my parents & friends noticed my improvement as i was completing my hours & the classroom sessions w/ mr green & joey are very helpful - pointing out key details in the drivers manual, clearing up ambiguity, and overall helping u see stuff u would otherwise miss. dudes don’t get paid enough for the bs they deal with on a daily. very much worth the cash !!!!!!‍↕️‍↕️

Positive experience: Used their road test sponsorship and did not have any trouble. They showed up in the RMV on time and were really helpful. The car is in good condition. A guy even made sure I know hand signals, parking uphill/downhill since the examiner is going to ask you that. Passed the test!

Negative experience: I do not recommend paying for or using the services of this company. I paid for 10 sessions since March, and now it is the end of September. I have never been able to complete my classes because no instructor is available, and they said they will not refund my money. Every time I go on the website to choose a date, they are always fully booked or unavailable. How will you learn to drive if each time you take a class, you have to wait another 2-3 months for the next one? Save your money. It’s a waste of money with no success.

Fantastic experience: I used this Auto school for my son to take his driving education class and for driving practice. He enjoyed his class and the driving lessons were excellent. Much better than me trying to teach all the skills required to get his license.

Fantastic experience: I am glad that I chose NQAA to learn how to drive. Everyone was professional and made the learning process very simple and easy. Mr. Green was my instructor through out all my driving hours until I passed my test. Mr. Green is a professional and experienced instructor. He is very kind and respectful, but firm and assertive. My driving experience was very pleasant with him. He gave me good tips and tricks on how to understand and maneuver the vehicle better. In every obstacle I came across, he would break it down and explain how I can best overcome it. I would definitely recommend Mr Green as a great driving instructor at NQAA. NQAA also sponsored my road test. They made sure I was ready for the test and the process was fast and efficient.

Negative experience: Not a good driven school, both my bothers went here and one feels none of the staff cared for him to learn. For the price and hours my bother should of passed his driver test. Both brothers filed the fisrt time and had one bother faild his second time. If they did their job both bothers would be able too drive but they both drive like kids who never been in a car. Im so disappointed in this school and told my parents to ask for their money back because they didnt do anything but waste my familys time and money

Negative experience: Avoid at all cost. Ratings are inflated. Instructors will belittle you offering zero advice on how to actually drive or make complex maneuvers, the coach will be on their phone the whole time. They just tell you to make "left or right" turns and that's the "lesson". The vehicle they use is very old, huge, and worn out. Break system sucks and you will not be able to see through the back mirror. They do not clean it. A couple months ago, I sponsored a road test with them. I completed 3 point turn, driving backwards, and parallel parking checking my mirrors, blind spots, and signaling. I stayed within my lane when turning, followed traffic signs, signaled, looked out for traffic and pedestrians. Guess what? They failed me for the fake reason of "lacks control over motor vehicle"??? when I completed every maneuver demonstrating caution and followed the rules of the road making proper turns and staying in my lane??? There's definitely something shady here where they fail you for some fake reason so that you will use their sponsor service again and waste more money. Everything is paid in cash by the way so you can't get the money back for getting scammed. Again, avoid this place if you value your time and money. They want to scam you of your money. I looked through the 1 star reviews on google maps after the road test and one of them said this from 6 years ago with 9 other people upvoting the comment: "Worst experience ever with this school. They just want to scam you out of your money. DO NOT take your road test with them. They only pass people who were originally their students before hand." This is true. My time and money is wasted. Don't let it happen to you. They are also racist against non-asains. I don't recommend coming if you are black, white, or hispanic. They also inflate their ratings with kids whose parents spent ~$1000 on their "drivers ed" course which is just regurgitated info from the drivers manual. Use another driving school. After my experience here, I went to another driving school in watertown and passed my road test at the RMV in watertown doing the same things that they "failed" me for here. What a joke.

Fantastic experience: If you want results and learn how to drive a vehicle correctly, this is the place to sign up. Experience from beginning to end was excellent and they even kept up with you the entirety of the way until you got your license with super helpful information. Prompt and timely responses and great setup for taking classes. It may be a little bit of a drive from Weymouth/Braintree area for some but very well worth it. Most importantly, the whole team cared which is rare. Great school! Thanks!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with NQ Auto. I especially loved how attentive secretary Vivian was during our conversations! I appreciated how she was able to answer my questions so fast. I was always relieved when she was the one at the office or answering the phone since she’s so reliable. She deserves a raise!

Fantastic experience: I have taken couple of lessons prior to my Driving test helped me to practice on their sponsoring vehicle which is used for test and perform better by knowing all controls. Both instructors provided valuable points and driving techniques which helped me to improve my driving skills and pass the test. Jason is very prompt at providing responses. Starting from classes, Road Test scheduling, till Road Test completion. I would definitely recommend NQAA.

Negative experience: Bad driving school, how can you teach my kid use cross over the turn the steel wheel, that was pretty scare method, one of my friend’s kid took 3 times with this driving school and failed all. U can’t teach student just for examiner Peter… without the help with him, no body will pass the road test in your school, bad teaching method.

Fantastic experience: Just passed my test Sunday and they helped a LOT!!!! Dylan taught me everything about parallel parking. Jordan taught me how to physically drive the car. Joey taught me the other two maneuvers. The only bad parts were that the test was overbooked and Joseph took me onto a really busy road my second lesson.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy that I made the right choice and chose NQAA. They have helped and guided me in every step of the process. Always answering my questions abd concerns on time. I took 5 driving classes with them. Two with Jordan and 3 with Joey. They are both very professional and teached me in the best way possible. With what I learned from them made me feel so confident while driving. I got my driving license with the first attempt and NQAA team was there to guide me one more time before the test. Fantastic experience: I’ve waited 10 years to learn how to drive and I wish I have done it sooner! These instructors have taught me absolutely everything I need to know about driving and road safety. Without these amazing driving instructors, I would not have passed my road test on THE FIRST TRY!! I cannot thank them enough for helping me get out of my horrible driving anxiety. I recommend everyone to this driving school also because they teach you ALL of the maneuvers the RMV will have you do for the road test. I did it, you can do it, too!!

Negative experience: Most of the instructors are just fine but N Joey is literally the worst do not book him. If you’re ever confused and don’t understand a certain method he’s trying to teach he will start yelling and get aggressive. He apologized for being frustrated but still continued being rude and degrading. Don’t book him

Fantastic experience: Took 5 lessons, each for an hour. My instructors were Chase and Darren. Both were very helpful. Jason was very helpful in answering any queries I might have through email and setting up the road test with the RMV.

Fantastic experience: I took couple of driving lessons and drive test from NQAA. My driving instructor was Jordan and G. Joseph, who provided me all the possible details that helped me pass the drive test. NQAA support team and Jason was very helpful in assisting with very quick turnaround. My experience with them was hassle free. I highly recommend everyone NQAA for driving lessons as well as drive test service.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend driving lessons and road tests with NQAA; I started driving pretty recently, and after a few lessons with instructors G. Joseph and Jordan, I felt very confident in my driving skills and passed the road test first try! The staff members are friendly and helpful if you have any questions about registering or the road test process as well.

Positive experience: Would definitely recommend. Specifically to instructor Joseph, he’s very patient he actively try’s to help improve your skill. I took about 9 sessions and I acquired my drivers license the first time I took the road test. Over all staff was very understanding and helpful even up to the day of your road test.

Fantastic experience: It's a great experience to train under NQAA. I took couple of classes, and had road test with NQAA as well. Jason is very helpful for scheduling and assisting through overall process. On the test day, NQAA crew member received well with a warm greeting and so helpful in assisting with any clarifications. I had my driving classes scheduled with JOSEPH. He's the real MVP, he carefully monitors each and every action and suggests how to rectify the mistakes. With his teachings I've passed on my first attempt with flying colors, all credits to Joseph. I would like to thank big entire NQAA team, mega job for helping students like me. I would definitely recommend NQAA to my friends!

Positive experience: I took 4 lessons with them, 3 with Joseph and 1 with Jordan. Although the lessons with Joseph were ok but it was a great experience with Jordan. Jordan has a great depth of skills and understanding. Cleared all my doubts in just 1 lesson. The driving test went smooth. A great thanks to Jason for replying to emails in time. Only suggestion would be to extend the time window for taking lessons as it is tough to adjust between 8.30 to 15.00

Fantastic experience: I am an adult driver from the UK. NQAA helped me to pass my US road test after just a couple months of lessons. G Joseph is an amazing instructor, he has a lot of trust in his students. The Jeep Renegades in their fleet are also very learner-friendly. Be aware that you will be driving around Quincy, Dorchester and Mattapan on your lessons, which can be intimidating at first.

Positive experience: I had driving lessons years ago but I never got my license. I decided it was time to go. I went to this school because they offer 2 hour lessons and they pick you up. I had several different instructors. But I can say John was the best. He got out the car showed me reference points on the car for backing up and pulling over. He helped me backup better. He was the most interactive instructor I had. The other instructors were OK a few times they would pick up their phone and not pay attention to you as you drive. I am happy I did not hit anything because Quincy's residential streets are narrow. I did do some of the maneuvers with the other instructors so it was not super bad. I learned 2 different ways to parallel park. Although I don't use neither of them right now. They are usually late for the lesson which can be understandable if they have another lesson before you. They always call or text. But one of my lesson started late and ended early so I had maybe 1 hour and 30 minutes of driving. I think they need to space the lessons with 15 to 20 minutes in between. I passed my road test and I know the driving I did helped me. I am not sure how much of the instructions helped except for what John taught me. I am not trying to discount them but some of the teachers need to do better. Most of them are chill and one is strict and yells at you if you don't move fast enough. Both of these ways are good for some but not for everyone. If you are already nervous yelling makes it worse or the instructor not paying attention does not help either. If you are going to take lesson see if you can get John. And try to stick with the same person for all your lessons.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Mr. Green for your driving instructor! I just recently had a fantastic experience during my driving hours. Mr. Green is not only knowledgeable but patient, which has made my experience even better. After my session, I feel more confident in my driving and comfortable getting back on the highway again.

Fantastic experience: North Quincy Auto Academy is a really great driving school. As an adult driver, I had never driven before and was worried I would not pick up on driving quickly; however, that was not the case at all. I had G-Joseph and after a few lessons I was driving well and felt confident in my driving skills. G-Joseph is very kind and knowledgeable with a calm demeanor which makes him a great driving instructor. His tips and overall teaching style helped me pass my road test on the first try! Would highly recommend NQAA and G-Joseph!

Negative experience: The school was fine. The driving test is a scam. Go somewhere else bc if you fail a 3 point turn or hesitate at a light, you fail. Another parent in the parking lot had same issue. Money maker.

Positive experience: The NQAA staff are very quick and professional in responding to any questions that you may have and are very helpful in getting you what you need. The process in getting driving hours is a little confusing, however. If you are trying to get private driving lessons/hours, they have you wait in the parking lot and you are usually left on your own trying to find the instructor that you are driving with. Sometimes they will call you, but I think there is a better way of going about this. But the instructors are very good, and they will help you succeed. Although Mr. Scott will sometimes waste your time speaking for way too much.

Fantastic experience: I'm an older learner driver who was pretty nervous about learning how to drive. Thankfully I booked Mr Scott who is an absolutely brilliant instructor, he's calm , informative , and just a good guy. He went above and beyond, really breaking every maneuver you need for your exam down to its simplest form, so you really understand why your doing what your doing. Bravo !

Positive experience: Very difficult to schedule behind the wheel hours and drivers ed was all pre-recorded. When emailing because of an issue, my response is usually along the lines of, "Better luck next time." Edit: After this review, I was contacted by the academy and they made major improvement on scheduling. I was contacted and gave my schedule, and they scheduled hours for me. Much better service.

Fantastic experience: Great school in general. Had my driving hours with G. Joseph; he’s super nice, very helpful , amazing, tells you all you need to know and gives you tips to perfect your driving. Perfected my parallel parking, 3 point turn and driving in general all thanks to him.

Negative experience: My girlfriend went for some driving hours. The driving instructor told her to keep going and almost hit a pedestrian in a parking lot because the car has the right of way in the parking lot. Then he argued with the lady and justified it by saying she had her dog off leash. Needless to say I don't feel comfortable with the way this driving instructor is teaching her at all.

Positive experience: nqaa helped me gain more confidence on the road. I did not do well on my 1st road test and they helped me make necessary adjustments to clear the next one. Mr. Joseph was especially helpful in trying to recreate what I did wrong on my first road test and helping me improve.

Fantastic experience: Best driving school ever - I only took lessons with G. Joseph. He was amazing!!! Very helpful, I’ve perfected my parallel parking and three point turns with his help. I passed my road test the first try and it was all because I had a very helpful instructor (G.Joseph) who went above and beyond to help his students. If you are taking lessons here, I recommend taking them with him. You’ll feel very confident driving on the road with his instruction.

Fantastic experience: My permit was about to expire with in 3 months when I start learning how to drive. At the beginning I was not good at parallel parking especially for 10:45. Joseph teach me several techniques, after trying the different strategy, I found the one that works for me, that was very helpful. After a few training classes, I decided to take the driving exam and I passed. For the parallel parking, I was able to do on the first try as well.

Fantastic experience: The best driving school in Quincy! Best in class customer service and experience. They are excellent with managing the expectations of their student through timely updates about scheduling and requirements- these were done through email and text so there’s no way for you to miss anything. They are able to get RMV schedule that’s realistic given the COVID19 situation. I booked their road test (NQAA car sponsored) + 1 driving hour before the actual road test. In the beginning I thought, I should have just used my own car for the driving hour so I’m used to it more but it actually worked best for me because they have Jeep Renegade and it was easy handling! My driving coach was Jay- he pointed out all my strengths and things to improve on so it was a good coaching experience overall. He focused on points that were useful for me like parallel driving bec I work in Boston (and I will return from not working from home starting January). I will forever remember my key take aways!!! Thank you Jay, Kenny, Trina, Jason and the entire staff of North Quincy Auto Academy! Pictures below for proof! PASSED the road test!!! 5 stars overall!

Fantastic experience: it was a wonderful experience, the team is extremely helpful and supportive. Mr. Scott helped me overcome my fear and anxiety and the tips he gave me helped me a lot. the way they prepare you for the road test is very helpful. prep classes scheduled before my road test help me a lot and the team help and support on the road test day was exceptional.

Fantastic experience: I took 1 driving class and road test with them. Mr Jacob (The Coach) is good, and gave me some useful tips about driving, and also the basic info that I needed to qualify the test. Overall it was a good experience, and I would definitely recommend NQAA!

Negative experience: Terrible terrible experience! Coach Jacob was shouting at me very rudely for 2 hours straight because I was sleepy, however he was texting continuously the whole time while he was supposed to concentrate on teaching me how to drive. Later on I told this to the guy called Jason in the office, but he said Jacob was texting him and blamed all on me. He was also being very very rude! Although I know people in here are rude in general, they still managed to expand my horizons.

Fantastic experience: I! Got! My! License! Listen, I drove for many, MANY years before I came to NQAA. I was always too scared to take my road test because of jitters. Every time I got behind the wheel, I would think, "My instructor has actively signed over his life to me and we're both going to die." It was BAD. All of that changed when I signed up at NQAA. The instructors were so, SO patient with me throughout this entire process. And unlike my other instructors in the past who were so methodical (hands at exactly 10 and 2 o'clock, mirrors have to be tilted at X degrees, etc), my instructors at NQAA were always like, "Dude, just turn on the car and drive. You're gonna mess up. That's life. What we're going to teach you is how to safely and correctly fix those mistakes when you do make them." And y'all, that WORKED. I wasn't so fixated on rules. I wasn't focused on passing an exam. My instructors were always very clear about making sure that I was comfortable behind the wheel rather than doing everything perfect. And that's what made all the difference. I cannot thank everyone at NQAA enough for all their help. And as a testament to their effectiveness, I just purchased another package from them to prepare for highway driving and slick parking moves. Can't wait to get started. THANK YOU NQAA

Negative experience: I am writing this review while in class, 80% of the course is fear mongering, 10% is learning unnecessary physics, and the other 10% is my teacher being on his phone, and on top of that, so much of the information given is outdated and the tests are based on things you've not been taught, a driving class is bad when you learn more about physics and bicycles than cars Update: we are currently watching a compilation of fatal car accidents, very appropriate to show teenagers who are about to get behind the wheel

Fantastic experience: I definitely recommend this driving school!! I am a young professional, straight out of grad school, working a 9-5 and they were sure to make themselves accessible and they were very accommodating to all of my needs. Their location is great and they teach to the test so I felt very prepared. I took about 10 hours with them a few months ago to get myself comfortable on the road. I had Jordan as my teacher for almost all of those hours and he was great, very patient and thorough in his explanations; he made me feel very comfortable and confident on the road. I used NQAA's vehicle and sponsor for the road test and I couldn't have felt more supported by them. I was very nervous and they managed to calm my nerves before the test (which I passed on the first try, thanks to them!). The only negative I can think of is navigating the website. It took some time to get used to it but I always managed to figure it out. Couldn't have done it without you all, thanks so much!

Pros: - Easy to book through the website - Good customer service, whenever I called on the phone, I had all my questions answered very clearly and politely - Pretty easy and straightforward process for scheduling a road test, can schedule as little as two weeks in advance. - Useful tips from the instructors Cons: - I had two different instructors, both of them were on their phones CONSTANTLY, either texting, or just surfing social media. It's as if me and my driving were in the background of whatever they were doing. - the cars they have are old, the turning signal doesn't stick at all Overall, not very satisfied

Fantastic experience: I took my road test today and passed, I went to a different driving school for drivers ed but I went with them for the test. Everything was very professional and the staff are amazing, as long as you are prepared for the test and you practice before hand you will pass. I would have rather gone to North Quincy Auto Academy than to the place I went but I unfortunately did not have the chance to. Thank you North Quincy Auto Academy you are awesome!!

Negative experience: The staff are ok but the car they use for test is horrible . Its an old jeep SUV with very hard brakes. I have driven for more than 7 yrs and I got failed because of that stupid car. The indicators does not work properly. Pls don't waste your time and money unless you have taken classes with them by paying a lot of money.

Fantastic experience: Good school, good teachers.

Negative experience: They constantly park in the handicapped spots outside their building, even when there are tons of other spots open. They're teaching students it's okay to break the law and to disrespect handicapped people. Disgusting.

Fantastic experience: I was here for a 1 hour lesson before my driving test, and my driving test. Both processes were efficient. The lesson was very useful since the teacher made me practice all the questions they assumed I would be asked. The place is clean and all forms for the test was well documented.

Fantastic experience: I Definitely recommend this driving school!!. I can't thank my instructor Henry enough!(who I had as my instructor the most during my driving lessons) he is the reason of me passing my road test on the first attempt!!, I definitely recommend him for any aged driver new or experienced!, I also had Joseph twice as my instructor who is very good for beginners like myself at the beginning when I had no knowledge on how to drive a car, and he also gave some good key pointers too, and Mr.Kenny I had once he was very good at giving me pointers for signaling, all the instructors are very good in general!, but I personally recommend Henry the most if I were to attend to this school again I would definitely choose him he's really just that good for teaching you the basics and the expert levels of driving a car wether you're a beginner or not, for example some of the things he was great at teaching was parallel parking!, and 3-point turns!, No joke!. So definitely a big thank you to Henry!.
