Fantastic experience: Busque muchas escuelas para tomar mis clases de conducir y elegí la mejor sin duda, estaba tan asustada de empezar mis clases, tengo 28 años y nunca había tocado un carro, sumándole que tenía los flashbacks del carro que meses antes me atropello; tome el paquete de beginner con una lección extra y fue suficiente para aprobar mi examen a la primera vez el instructor Carlos es excelente, te exige porque sabes que puedes, te enseña meticulosamente cada movimiento que debes dar, quise venir a esta escuela porque es latina es decir "hablan Español" y este es mi primer idioma; sin embargo el instructor Carlos te da las instrucciones en inglés y español, lo cual es una gran ayuda para aquellos que no saben inglés ya que el examen es exactamente igual a como el instructor te prepara, si tú tienes la fortuna de dominar el ingles como alguien que dejó una reseña aquí mismo, puedes irte a Manhattan a una escuela americana. Por otro lado quiero resaltar el impecable servicio al cliente por parte de Ángela, siempre tan dulce y alentadora, también quiero comentarles que recibí por parte de la escuela mensajes y correos recordatorios de las clases, es claro que como clientes también debemos respetar y tener palabra (no sean tan atrevidos de llamar 10 min antes a cancelar una clase). Gracias New York Driving School por todo, me voy feliz con mi licencia ❤️

Fantastic experience: Mr.Lee was very helpful in explaining everything the dmv is looking for when taking the test. He teaches you how to move the steering wheel properly when making turns and how to take control of it. I am a first time driver and learned a lot from Mr.Lee and passed the road test on my first try.

Fantastic experience: I can proudly say I learned how to drive with the help of Uk Lee. Lee is very funny, great conversationalist, and makes driving comfortable. Great at explaining how the DMV wants us to drive. And gives tricks on how to remember certain steps for driving. I never had a car growing up and never grew up around cars. I had no proof knowledge to cars. I took the train everywhere. And now I passed my road test on the first try, something that many people fail to do. I had a package of 6 classes, 5-hour class included, and road test included. Transitions were very easy. This driving school is on point, gives text reminders of when your classes are scheduled so you’d never forget, and calls to confirm and set up appointments. Definitely will recommend this school.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Lee is a great instructor. He will teach you beyond the basics of driving. He teaches you that the most important rules about driving are defensive driving and safe driving. I took about 12 lessons or so with him with ,and he is very consistent and little by little, you will see progress. During each driving lesson I felt I learned something new with him every time. If you mess up and if he is a little curmudgeon about it, don't take it personal. He only wants you to be the best driver you can be. He has a good heart and will help you pass if you are willing to take his advice and tactics. I took my first test with another driving school and they were so bad. It took me two years to muster the confidence again to give it a try. With this school, I only took the driving test once and passed! Totally recommend it!

Fantastic experience: My journey was amazing at this school! I walk into their doors after being traumatized from a driving school nearby. Mr.Lee was my instructor and I took one class with Wandy They are both great but I can mainly speak about Mr.Lee because I took 12 lessons with him. He prepares you for the road test and teaches you to be a responsible driver. Jackson heights has ruthless people driving and because of Mr Lee I drive with cautious and avoid bad driving habits. & Remember practice makes perfect!

Fantastic experience: I took my road test for the first time yesterday and I passed thanks to the great instructors at this school. I had never driven a car before and I took a 12 lesson package, some with Instructor Eddie and the last 4 with Mr Lee and they were both very professional and polite. If you understand English I recommend taking the classes with Mr Lee because he really breaks down what you have to do and he will always answer any question you ask. We all learn different but I was recommended this school by a family friend who also passed the road test and I have to say it was a great experience with great results.

Negative experience: This is a terrible place. I booked one class to see if I liked the driving school/instructor before I bought a package of lessons. This was my first time driving a car and the instructor had no patience. Very unprofessional and poor quality of service. They promised me it would be a 1-hour class and instead was 45min. I don’t know where all those positive reviews are coming from but beware. I would just pay for one service and see for yourself if you want to try out this school. However, due to my Awful experience, I do not recommend this place. Not to mention...They posted an insult to me on google review. To New York Driving School: Thanks for proving my point of how unprofessional you are by attempting to insult me with unnecessary incorrect statements about my personal life. Clearly you can't handle constructive criticism. Don't forget that we as customers bring MONEY to your business and put a plate of food to your table! Shame on you for insulting your customers just because they don't like your service.
