Fantastic experience: I had a great experience. The instructors, Nick and Paul, were both excellent, and I feel lucky to have learned from them. Nick was patient, clear, and really helped me build my confidence behind the wheel. He was great at explaining things step by step, making me feel comfortable even when I was nervous. Paul was equally fantastic, offering great tips and techniques to improve my driving. His calm and friendly approach made each lesson enjoyable and productive. Positive experience: Glastonbury driving school was a fairly decent experience. The zoom classes were about whatever you would find anywhere else, but not super helpful for on road everyday experience. The drivers however are a hit or miss. I have had two good instructors, and one poor one. They seem to do things very much by the books, and go through the motions. For example, when light turns green, they don’t allow you to look just once more left, you must immediately turn right. For safety that seems ridiculous. There are better places to go for the money you are spending.

The lessons helped me learn and improve a lot in my overall driving abilities, learning to to merge properly, different types of parking, k-turns, highways and more.

Positive experience: Overall I was taught decently and passed which I guess is all that matters. My instructor took it upon herself to clip her finger nails in the passenger seat as I was driving on multiple occasions and there was not a sense of professionalism with the phone operators. I was taught well but there are better options out there for the money you’re spending.

Negative experience: That short guy with brown hair and eyes was very rude. Made my daughter feel very stressed, and he was on the phone constantly, which is completely unacceptable as we pay almost $130 for his time. I overall do not recommend this for anyone's child. They will do the absolute bare minimum to make your child pass their test and no more.

Negative experience: My driving instructor told my parents I would pass but not to let me drive on my own. I ended up not driving on my own for almost a year having to hire another driving school to prove I am capable of being safe in the car. I got my license from here on November 19th 2021. Go somewhere else. It is not worth your money or your sanity. And yes, I am posting this 2 years later because it needs to be known. This affected me for a year.

Positive experience: Overall the driving school is nice, majority of the people there are nice. However there is one instructor he’s short w brown hair and eyes, he is very rude. He eats and constant goes on his phone when he’s supposed to be giving a driving lesson, and overall he was very rude. He made me not want to continue driving because how stressed me made me. This dosent reflect the whole school however I think they should re-evaluate their intrustors and the way they conduct driving lessons. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I had Thava as my instructor twice! Though not super talkative, he has his stuff down cold and really helped me to become a better driver! I feel much more confident to take the driving test after my road hours with him!

Fantastic experience: Thava is a great driving instructor. He is very patient driver- he taught me turning, merging, parking and maintaining my speed limit and giving space to cars because no one knows what will happen at anytime. Fantastic experience: I took driving classes at Glastonbury driving school and my instructor thavaraj was definitely the best instructor. Being extremely stressed I was happy I got this instructor because of how calm and non stressful he made it. He Talks nice , explains things clearly, and made it easy to learn complicated things like parking and intersections. He clearly gives the rules and tips on what to know and to do on your drivers test. Great instructor.

Negative experience: For the love of God, please do not make the same mistake we did. Choose next street. The good reviews are not representative of how people actually feel about this place (based on the 20 or so other high schoolers who have taken classes there). The desk lady is so incredibly rude, that is when you manage to get a hold of them. They almost never answer the phone and call back (if at all) at the most inopportune times. Why would you call your prime audience in the middle of a school day three times in a row? Not only that, the woman at the desk also has the worst attitude towards customers. When I finally went in to make my appointments for lessons, she acted as though I was an annoyance. This is a business and customer service is important in such an industry. Lastly, if you want to learn how to drive by watching endless episodes of Dateline, you have found your place! Otherwise save yourself and take classes elsewhere. (Written under a different name for privacy reasons)
We are sorry you had this experience . To take such a complaint to Google Verses getting ahold of the owner ? If not giving a oppertunity to fix a problem then we would know we have one . No One Here is a annoyance and always welcome a phone call . I will add for the public we do not show endless amounts of dateline There are only two in the 30 hours one is only 20 minutes . To also note we do not have a student ny the Name of Dan Hat

Thavraj helped me through the areas where I am not too familiar with and always giving me heads-up. He is an awesome person to have a conversation with. In sometimes, he will call your mistakes out and emphasize on it, but he does it to make sure you won’t make the same mistakes when you drive alone or with your guardian(s). Overall, it was an amazing experience.

Fantastic experience: I went to glastonbury driving school. My instructor was Thavaraj and he was great, learning to drive with him was very entertaining and I learned a lot. We practiced reverse parking over and over again until I could do it perfectly on my own. Same with merging on the highway.

Positive experience: GDS provided very helpful criticism for my test. While the zoom classes can be stale and unrewarding, the lessons are extremely helpful at identifying weakpoints. Thavaraj and Jamie are great at giving focus points for the future. Overall, I recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I took my driving classes with Glastonbury Driving School and Thavaraj was my instructor. I would certainly recommend him. His teaching methodologies were great where he refreshes all the road rules what we learnt during our written permit test before we begin our initial driving classes so that we can drive confidently. Safety is his prime motto which he always insists on. He is a cool customer and makes the candidates gain confidence with each and every class. His parking techniques - both forward and reverse parking, lane changing techniques and maneuvering the turns are second to none. Also, he would easily identify our areas of improvements and would invest his time to work on that. It really feels good to have a instructor like him and I got the license couple of months back and am driving safely with my family!
