Fantastic experience: My instructor was Maria and she was amazing! She’s very kind and helpful. She let me know when I did good, and always commented on any improvements she saw, while also kindly correcting any mistakes I made. She’s a very comfortable person to be around and I didn’t feel tense while I was driving. She was very helpful in telling me what the test scoring sheet looked like and what to expect for the ‘pre-driving checklist’. I would 1000/10 percent recommend her to anyone!

Fantastic experience: i honestly couldn’t say anything more than good things about this place. I had went into my lesson yesterday with Jim and asked him to teach me everything i needed to know before my drivers test (which was today). not only did he teach me everything i needed to know but he also instructed me exactly where they were going to take me. knowing this route i was able to pass today with barely any errors. not to mention if you love sports cars like me their selection of cars is amazing! come to this place if you need drivers ed

Fantastic experience: Overall, three lessons were well worth the price! They all provided proficient feedback regarding my skills in driving, and led to me passing my driving test on the first attempt! Sherri helped me especially during lesson #3 with positive reinforcement, as usually I am quite negative when it comes to self-talk. However, she stayed patient with me and was very helpful in general.

Fantastic experience: This business was the answer we were looking for. Professional, laid back, and comfortable were the words our daughter used to describe her experience. Jim is the best! He is calm and understanding and taught both of our kids how to be good drivers. I road in the backseat all 3 lessons and couldn’t be more happy with the experience! 5 out of 5 stars!!!

Fantastic experience: I had Maria for my first and last lesson, and Jim for my second. My experience and honest opinion of this driving school is highly positive, I passed my driving test first try. This driving school helps to teach new young drivers good habits on the road and how to be a safe and effective driver. I think taking this course definitely helped to make my test a lot easier to comprehend and know what to do. Not to mention how patient and helpful on correcting the instructors were as well as being social and making things a breeze. Thank you ASTAR!

Fantastic experience: I used Astar driving school for my daughter. Even though she turned 17 1/2 and no longer needed the behind the wheel training, she agreed it would be beneficial after having already taken one lesson. After each session she said she felt more and more confident and was ready for the freeway after just one lesson! Both Sherri and Maria are excellent instructors. They made her feel comfortable not to mention myself as well! Before the driver's test Astar really prepped her on what to expect and had her drive a few of the possible routes. She was thoroughly prepared and passed her test on the first try. She is still using tips she learned. Astar really made the difference! Worth every penny.

Positive experience: Our teen had Maria for the first two classes and loved her. This would've been 5 stars if Maria had been the instuctor for her last class like she expected, but she had Jim. She said he talked about himself through the whole class and only provided her one new tip about parking. She said he may have been trying to make her confortable, but his talking became very distracting, particulalry when he talked about about politics and his 5 dogs and fat cat and went as far as to show her pictures of his pets WHILE she was driving!

Fantastic experience: The lady I had was Sherri and she was very sweet she showed me how to put gas and when taking me on the freeway I started to freak out she called me down and told me there’s nothing to be scared of and is just an overall positive person.

Fantastic experience: I was originally planning on going with Coastline for my Driver's Training since I had done my driver's education with them but was recommended by a friend to go with Astar and I would totally agree. Jim was my instructor and he was really good with catching mistakes that most people wouldn't notice but wasn't strict at all. He made sure that I was attentive and prepared for the driving test and kept up a conversation during the drive so it didn't feel awkward at any time. I took my driver's test just 48 hours after my third and last session with him, and passed with only 1 minor mistake (which was my fault). Would recommend, 10/10.
