Fantastic experience: I got my drivers license yesterday and I would just love to thank all the people who helped me get there. For starters my driving instructor Mr. Mick he did an amazing job teaching me everything I need to know behind the wheel. And thank you to miss west and miss O who helped work on my schedule, as well as Mr. James he is the most kindest man I’ve met and I’m so happy that my dad met him and sparked a conversation about Jesus, God bless everyone.

Fantastic experience: 5/5 Was such an amazing experience. Mr. Mike was an incredible instructor and is the reason that I passed. He was patient and always thoroughly explained everything to me. He had some great stories and got it feel very comfortable with driving. Mr. James was hilarious and so kind. On my DMV day I had an hour of practice and we worked together on everything and afterwards went to take my test. I passed my test with a perfect score. After all of this I feel like a much more confident and safe driver

Fantastic experience: Wish I could do 1000000+ stars. I started driving with Mr James freshly at 15. On my first lesson ever we went around my neighborhood and took some turns. Me and Mr James clicked instantly and was very supportive. He made me feel comfortable with driving and makes you feel comfortable to talk about anything. I’ve had many lessons with Mr James and every time there was always a smile on my face. Mr James is a very nice, funny, and talented person. He is great at what he does. His love and compassion for teaching kids like me, or even people who are autistic is very strong. He always speaks highly about his other students never anything negative and it shows how genuine and loving he is towards everyone no matter who you are. Today, I am 16. I had stopped doing driving lessons with him for a while and as soon as we did driving again we picked up right where we left off. He reassured me everyday that “you got this girl” and that I was a show off because of my driving. I went to the DMV today and got my license with a 100%!! Every time I did something wrong or right he would reassure me that he was proud of me and that I got this. His motivation and confidence reflected onto me and it definitely helped me get to where I am right now :). Although our classes are officially over ( ;( ) I will never forget the time we spent driving and how much confidence I gained while driving due to Mr James. THANK YOU MR JAMES!! I appreciated our time together and will never forget this moment.

Fantastic experience: Safety First Driving Academy is great. I needed to get my license in a short amount of time. Miss Ashley was very helpful and efficient in scheduling me in the time I needed. Mr. James is a wonderful instructor. Very patient and kind. He went over my weak skills as much as I needed and taught me exactly what I would need to do during my on the road test. I passed with no errors. The person administering the test told me this vas very rare! I would recommend Safety First Driving academy to anyone!!

The sign up process was easy the school has payment plans …The school worked with our schedule during the summer and Mr James is an awesome instructor ….communication was great I would always receive emails from Mrs Ashley , Mrs O and Mrs Nalini about confirming appointments or of any schedule changes … I give you guys a 100 out of 10 from everything …thank you so much my son got his license !!!!

Fantastic experience: They are great here! I was incredibly nervous and had horrible driving anxiety, but they were able to help me overcome my fears and learn how to be a safe driver on the road. Ms. Ashley was extremely kind and accommodating to my ever-changing schedule and always responded politely and quickly to my emails. When she was not available, the others were great at filling me in and calling me to remind me of my lessons or inform me of any issues that arose with scheduling. I had Mr. Jose for most of my lessons and he did a great job showing me the ropes! I also had Mr. James for one lesson. He told me my strengths and weaknesses, helping me finish off my last lesson with a smooth ride. We talked a lot during the lesson, but never at the expense of teaching me how to drive. My palms used to get so sweaty and I would shake with nerves, but now I get excited to hop in the driver seat! I am so glad I found Safety First Driving Academy, LLC!

Fantastic experience: Recently got my license after taking the class. I can say with sincerity and confidence that this course helped me. They taught me everything I needed to know for driving out on the road and for the test. I became confident on the road. I had Mr. James as my instructor and stepping into the car with him was always a good time. Seriously, never a dull moment. He made me laugh and we played off each other and I can say with pride and truancy that I consider him my friend. He supported every step of the journey and it's clear as the air around us, as clear a new window, as clear as a crystal polished and cleaned to the finest it can, that these people that they do it to genuinely help their students and not in it for the money. That is something that shouldn't be taken lightly. I cannot express my gratitude these people provided me. When I failed my test the first time, Mr. James lifted me back up on my feet and then 2 weeks later I retook it. Thanks to Mr. James ongoing and strong support, I managed to pull a perfect score on my driver's test. It is all because the amazing love and support of these people. From Mr. James to Ms. West. You all are wonderful and amazing people. I cannot thank you enough for giving me this opportunity to allow myself to prove myself and gain a level of libraration and independence because of them. I cannot put into words the feeling of getting behind the wheel of my own vehicle and not feeling anxious; having the assurance that I can drive and get to "Point A" to "Point B" safety. I can say hundreds of positive things about this, and it won't be enough to say how much I am grateful and how much I genuinely enjoyed myself during our lessons. To Mr. James, I'd like to personally thank you for being the greatest instructor I could ask for. You made me laugh and smile in a time when I needed more of that. You never knew it but I was struggling in life and your lessons where always something I looked forward to because it lifted me up and I gained a level of confidence that I don't think I would have gotten without you. I am proud to say with pure unadulterated sincerity that you are my friend. I will miss these lessons dearly but I will look back at these days and not forgot the kindness that you had given me and the chance to prove to myself that I still have hope no matter how murky the waters look on my end. It is thanks to you that I got a PERFECT score. To put that in perspective, the average score on a driver's test in Florida is 76%. And it was becomes of Mr. James, that I got that extra 24. Now, look at me, I am holding a license in my hand and the knowledge that I got that with the assistance of the wonderful people at Safety First Driving. And as a final note, Mr. James, it had been a genuine pleasure behind the wheel with you, as my passenger, as my wingman, and as my friend! <3

Fantastic experience: My son took Drivers Ed at his high school and since unfortunately they did not really give a lot of individualized instructor time at the school we felt our son needed some extra time and instruction behind the wheel so we purchased a package with Safety First Driving Academy. My son’s driving instructor was Mr. James, he was an absolute blessing to have. From the beginning he and our son hit it off, he would give our son a daily progress report after each lesson that gave us all a range of how he was doing and what and where he needed to work on. After several lessons with Mr. James our son was able to pass his road test and only lost 5 points which was a pleasant surprise. Thank you for everything Mr. James; for working with us and helping get our son to pass his test and become a safer driver. ❤️

Fantastic experience: When my son got his drivers permit I was too nervous to go out on the road with him so I found Safety First Driving Academy. From my first phone call with Ms Ashley I knew I had made the right choice. She worked with me to schedule his lessons around school, sports, and work. She keeps in contact and sends reminders and nothing is ever a problem. The instructors Mr James, Mr Jose and Mr Michael are all phenomenal. They have so much patience and work with your teens abilities while continuously building their confidence. Today, my son took his driver's test and passed with a perfect score! Fantastic experience: I wish there was a rating higher than 5 stars because Safety First Driving Academy is the best driving school ever! I passed my driving exam today thanks to Mr. Mike, Mrs. Ashley, and Mr. James! I am forever indebted to Safety First as I never thought I would ever drive as I was in a horrible accident as a youth and sustained a lot of injuries. However, everyone here was always compassionate, kind, and understanding to the traumas and lack of driving experience I had. Mr. Jose was my first instructor and helped me cope with first driving in a vehicle and Ms. Ruth helped me with getting onto the main roads. Mr. Mike truly took me under his wing and taught me everything I needed to know from beginning to end. He was extremely dedicated and committed to teaching me at every step of the way, and he persisted until I mastered each concept. I truly appreciate that because it helped me get rid of my anxiety towards driving as I built a confidence through his training and teachings. I have learned so much from Mr. Mike and I cannot thank him enough as it is because of him that I passed with a 100%. Mr. Mike is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. He made driving fun with his keen ability to teach, excellence in perfecting my technique, and humor along the way! I strongly recommend the instructors at Safety First because they put every student first and get them to the finish line no matter where they are. I would also like to thank Mrs. Ashley who is beyond encouraging and motivating. She offered me so many kind words and advice to help me along the way that I am forever grateful for. Also, she worked tirelessly to carve out the perfect schedule for me and is always responsive to helping me out. Additionally, she scheduled my road test appointments which was so helpful. I feel very confident and encouraged to drive because of the wonderful people at Safety First. Thank you Mr. James for assisting with my journey and checking in with my progress too! Fantastic experience: Mr. James and Mr. Mike were my son’s instructors for his driving lessons. Mr. Mike took him yesterday for his driver’s test at the DMV. He used the teaching car and went in very confident and relaxed. He scored 100% - so obviously his instructors were great! We’re so proud of him and so thankful for the course. I especially loved that they would come pick him up for his lessons and return him home - that definitely helped this busy mama! Fantastic experience: Safety First Driving Academy was truly money well spent. Mrs Ashley went out of her way to accommodate our time constraints when it came to scheduling my son's sessions. His instructor Michael Hesse was patient and knowledgeable and really put my son at ease. I really appreciated the clear communication between him and my son, as well as with us. We looked forward to the after session reports to see how our son was progressing. Mr James was a pleasure to speak to as well. He contacted me directly and like Mrs Ashley, went out of their way to help us in Ethan's milestone. It was a plus knowing that they came to the house to pick up Ethan for his session and dropped him off. We didn't have to rearrange our schedules to make it to the instructor. And the road test was set up by the Academy! They picked my son up, set up his last session for that morning and then took him to the road test ! Needless to say...he PASSED! On his first try. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Keep up the great work !!!

Fantastic experience: I can not say enough about Mr James and staff at safety first….. my son had all his hours but needed extra help with maneuvers and help become a more safe driver!!! Well let me tell you Mr James did just that…..we are so grateful and blessed we found his company!!! Parents or grandparents or just anyone needing to learn SAFE driving this is the right company to choose……. Had lesson plans feedback and even in car video if we wanted to view……they work with your schedule….can even pick you or your child up at beginning and end of lesson!!! (We chose school for some of ours then end at our home) We even chose package with hour refresher just B4 his test….. you can choose to be present at DMV or not but they schedule lessons (u approve dates) and even schedule drivers test!!!! They do it ALL!!! This course is worth every penny!!! Thank you Safet First for an amazing experience for mom/dad and student!!

Fantastic experience: I’m a 33 year old professor at UF. I only learned how to drive in my home country when I was 31. I’d always lived in big cities so I never owned a car nor had to drive anywhere. Upon moving to Florida, I realized I couldn’t postpone it any longer. I took lessons with José who vas very respectful and cordial and also patient at giving feedback. He prepared me for the exam but was ill during the exam day so Mr. James gave me the last lesson and took me to the DMV. I passed the exam without any inconvenience. Mr. James was really encouraging that morning and helped me feel confident. The DMV in Gainesville is great to take the exam. Thank you everyone who helped me achieve this huge milestone in my life!

Fantastic experience: After many cancellations I had my first lesson today with Jose. Something told me to hang in there and this school would be The One. I can honestly say I’m glad I stuck with them. Jose is encouraging, calming & reassuring. GREAT instructor.

Fantastic experience: My instructor Mr. Fernandez was very kind, caring, and patient, and practice with him was always fun! He quickly assessed my strengths/weaknesses and gave me precise instructions every time. All the staff there are really nice and responsive. The scheduling is very flexible and I could practice driving even with my busy schedule at university. I definitely recommend this driving school.

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough of good about Safety First and its lead Mr. James. My two older ones used another company, nice but now out of business. So I can make a fair comparison. Mr. James has a complete syllabus which he clearly spells out all skills covered in each lesson. No "lets just jump in the car willy nilly" here. And they will come to your house or preferred pick up. Amazing. Mr. James was so patient, calm, and clear with his direction. My daughter gained such confidence during her 10 lessons and for a reasonable fee they will even take you to your drivers test, prep for an hour, and use their car. Again, don't hesitate choosing this high quality, ethical, and effective program. Mr. James and his team deserve 10 stars! And they serve Ocala and Citrus County!

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test on the first attempt, and it's a big credit to Mr. Jose Fernandez at the Safety First Driving Academy. His teaching style is spot on 10/10 – serious about safety but with a sense of humor that makes driving lessons something to look forward to. Everyone was so understanding with the concerns and worries I had with my first born driving. I know now we all will go through this, I have three more to go, lol. My Instructor Mr. James was the most kind, patient, and helpful individual I’ve ever had the pleasure of learning from. His instructions were thorough and well explained.
