Fantastic experience: I could not have completed my road test at MVA without Cyrus Driving School. I booked a car and instructor a week prior to my test, I requested for a kind instructor to come for the driving skill test. Since I recently moved to Maryland, I took up driver education course at a driving school. I did not have access to any relative’s or m friend’s car to go for my test. The driving school I had enrolled in, despite my many requests could not provide me a car for the test. Luckily Cyrus Driving school gives this service and they provided a very clean car. On the day of the test, I was taken by the owner Mr. Cyrus Hussain for an hour of practice and he was a kind, gentle man. Probably one of the best instructors I have ever met. He stayed with me till the end of my test and dropped me home. Overall, I would recommend enrolling at Cyrus driving school for good training, instruction and taking that extra effort to make sure their students pass.

Fantastic experience: This a good small business that should be supported; Mr. Vatani (the owner and one of the instructors) runs a good school. I completed by 30-hour classroom with Daniel, who was very patient and kind (trying to hold the attention of a bunch of teenagers over zoom was no easy task)! I received behind the wheels lessons with Mr. Vatani and Tara. Tara is hands down the best driving coach. She really cares about her job and it is clear that she puts in SO much effort to TEACH and COACH. The reason I passed the driving test in the first go was because of Tara. I had very low confidence and high anxiety going into this process but Tara boosted my confidence and empowered me with the knowledge to navigate the road safely. For the reserve parking component of the test I literally followed every single step she had taught and her secret sauce "CORRECTION" is a game changer. I learnt my basic from Mr. Vatani, so I don't want to discount his coaching that but after having Tara, I didn't want to go back to Mr. Vatani's style (which didn't quite boost my confidence, even if I did learn the skill). And finally, Maral, she's very competent and was very helpful with scheduling and accommodating my requests. She is actually very kind and helpful, especially in person, but I can see why on the phone she might come across as curt or even rude despite her best intentions. She's just juggling multiple things when she receives the calls so she might not be able to exchange pleasantries but she is quite helpful. Overall, a nice small business with competent people. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Just got off the phone with your company, the lady made me feel dumb with the questions I had...I can only imagine what kids must feel like behind the wheel with your instructors. Thank you, will take my business somewhere else. Learn to be more sympathetic and be mindful of your tone.

Fantastic experience: I hired a vehicle to do my road test from Cyrus. A good thing for those of us who don't know anyone in the area. It was a very smooth process. The lady at the reception was very helpful and gave me information I needed and more. I am new in the country so she explained very well what I needed to do. Fantastic experience: Cyrus driving school, is awesome! They have great customer service. Marel has been very helpful and accommodating with me in coordinating with our schedule for my daughter. Tara is a great in-car driving instructor! She taught my daughter well and she is very friendly and made my daughter comfortable. The class instructor is great as well! My daughter passed her driving test and got her driver’s license. Overall, I recommend Cyrus driving school, they did a wonderful job!!! Thank you all at Cyrus driving school, we appreciate it!!!

Negative experience: Great driving instructors. But receptionist is very rude and no professionalism. As well as, she has no patience and easily stressed.

Fantastic experience: I completed my driver’s ed classes and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training with Cyrus Driving School as required by MDOT. The instructors were very professional and flexible, accommodating my schedule when I needed to make changes. They also sent timely reminders via text and gave ample notice for any adjustments. I had the option to hire their car for my test, which was invaluable because I passed the first time. I can put this down to the hour prep I got beforehand to help calm my nerves and do some last practice - also because I did the test in a car I had been using for a while. The team at Cyrus Driving School is experienced, competent, and truly worth the investment. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My experience with a Cyrus Driving School was fantastic. I unrolled my son in The driving school last summer, and he successfully completed the written and driving classes. This summer, prior to his taking his driving test for his drivers license, I enrolled him in a two hour refresher course. The instructor was Daniel and he was excellent. He also suggested that my son use the driving school car for his test, which was a very good recommendation. My son took his driving test and passed on his first try. I highly recommend Chris Driving School! The instructor was excellent and the receptionist was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. She was a real pleasure to work with!

Fantastic experience: I had refreshing class as Cyrus's driving school since I already had foreign driving licenses ( two) but I did drive for a long period of time. let’s start the procedure of getting the driving license in the Maryland from the beginning. I went to MVA. and asked an out the requirements in this state. they provided some information and on top of them was an online course about the alcohol knowledge test. I asked them do they have any recommendations where can I take that class and they suggested me a drinking school which has several branches. after contacting them I wanted to take some sessions behind the wheel to get refreshed. However, their communications way was not that much promising. Despite I had transferred some fee I did cancel everything with them and started searching Google. there were driving schools around Bethesda and Rockville but there were some issues for me as a person who didn’t have car; the accessibility. I needed to get there through the public transport ( time to reach there was important because I usually could do after work hours) or Uber/Lyft ( costly). I called several schools and finally ended up at Cyrus driving school due to these features : - close to Rockville and access - the administrative issues had done vey smoothly and fast - price-wise it was very good. The practical sessions, although I had some familiarity, helped me a lot to drive confidently ( as I was extremely scared of high way and high speed driving in the USA ). the instructor, Mr Vatanni, was experienced and patient. He was covering everything meticulously. Totally my experience with Cyrus driving school was great and I do recommend it to others.

Fantastic experience: Both experiences at Cyrus driving school was amazing. First was to take my drug and alcohol test and second time was to rent a car for my road test. Having an out of country license, the one hour practice ahead of the road test was all I needed to pass and their familiarity with the whole test process made it very seamless at the DMV. The staff are very friendly and professional which helped me to significantly reduce some of the nervousness I was feeling ahead of both tests. I would absolutely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was very satisfied with the service of the whole Cyrus team. With the good advice from the instructor , I was able to get my driving license within a week. Of course, I was a driver back in my country but driving on the left and not used to big road and new traffic signs like in USA. The instructor gave me on hands experience. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Cyrus Driving School! We started with the 30 hour mandatory driver education online classes after which my son passed the learners permit test first time. I practiced driving with him for up to 10 hours before he took the 6 hours mandatory driving with the Cyrus instructor who is calm, reassuring and professional.. My son feels ready to take the test but we still have at least 50 hrs of practice required. If you have any questions leave them a message and the administrator always returned my calls in a timely manner. Cyrus made our first time experience positive and seamless.

I tried another major company in the area the first 2 times and they don’t even compare to how amazing the driving instructors are at Cyrus. Fantastic experience: First and foremost, I've lived in cities all my life, used public transportation and never been behind the wheel of a vehicle. But, at a certain point, I was just putting it off because I was afraid of driving and embarrassed that I hadn't gotten this taken care of sooner. Given the great reviews that I heard about Cyrus Driving School, I signed up for the Driving Education Course and the 14 practice hours required for the Skill Log (Adult over 25) with the instructor, Mr. Vatani, and recently passed my test. I am super grateful to Mr. Vatani. He was very patient and helpful with his instruction. Extremely experimented with helping students prepare for the examination by taking you on potential routes in the neighborhood and giving you tips on how to maneuver the reverse parking and through Maryland traffic. My exam was the exact route that I did in practice multiple times with Mr. Vatani. I felt very comfortable on the road and that was due to the repetitive nature of our practice runs. I also rented the vehicle through the company and I did the extra hour beforehand which was very helpful. Mr. Vatani provided very useful instructions for the road test and he gave me extra tips on how to approach the exam. Overall, it was an easy process, very positive and understanding instruction, and the results speak for themselves. I cannot thank enough Mr. Vatani and his stuff for their courteous service and this exceptional experience. Highly recommend it to anyone who's been putting it off.

Fantastic experience: When I started the DEP, I was little hesitating about how I am going to finish it successfully. On my first meet in zoom session , I got the confidence that I came to the right place to finish it . The instructor in zoom session is knowledgeable with so much experience. Later, after finishing the course with a good percentile , I headed to fix the BTW sessions and the instructor really boosted my confidence and taught me all the necessary skills and corrected my mistakes by guiding me in a proper way. Now I am confident to drive in any road safely from the knowledge I gained from the Cyrus driving school. They are very flexible with schedules and the front desk staff is so welcoming and helpful with my questions and schedules all the times. I got chance to learn BTW with a marvelous human being who owns the place and I felt lucky to learn it under his guidance who has trained thousands of new drivers in his career till date. It speaks about their guidance and training new drivers on the roads .

Negative experience: The entire driving School system is a centralized for-profit mechanism created by the MVA. This one is the same, with little professionalism. I believe some of the positive reviews are fake and created by the employees working here. Also don't recommend working with Mose as an instructor.

Negative experience: I placed my teenage son in this school. He enjoyed the zoom portion of the driver education program. However, the in-car instructor could have been more professional. My son stated that he was on the phone on multiple occasions. This is incredibly unprofessional and dangerous behavior. I believe his instructor's name was Moshen. He was unfriendly and unwelcoming. I'm upset that my son had to sit in a car with an uneducated, rude individual.

Fantastic experience: Cyrus driving, with Hossein as the instructor, was fantastic! Maral at the front desk was also incredibly helpful. Hossein is a patient and skilled instructor, and Maral's patience in scheduling made the whole experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend this school for learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: I got my license which was a huge accomplishment for me. All the instructors were amazing and the receptionist was really accommodating and understanding as I was only able to practice on weekends. I really appreciated how patient everyone was and feel empowered to move on with this chapter of my life. I wouldn't go anywhere else, especially if you're learning from scratch.

Sam was giving me Tipps what I can do to park better and it helped me a lot. It was really nice having my drivers lessons with her.
