Fantastic experience: Lesley is the best instructor! She taught me everything calmly throughout the class, and she helped me a lot to pass the exam. Parallel parking was not difficult at all, as it also taught me the easiest way to do it. I recommend Lesley to those who are scared to start driving for the first time! And thank you again Lesley!

Fantastic experience: I had Mirza and she was so patient! She explained how to drive so well in simple terms and made driving less scary, but more fun. She was so supportive and really does the most for her students!

I've always had a fear of driving and never had the courage to take the road test, but she really helped me overcome that fear and I passed the road test on the first try! She explains everything clearly and thoroughly, and creates a comfortable and stress-free environment which really helps when you are learning how to drive for the first time. Fantastic experience: I took my road test for the first time yesterday, and I passed!!! I had taken a 10-hour package at this driving school, and during my last lesson, Instructor James told me I would definitely pass the test—and I really did! Before coming to this school, I had another instructor who would always yell while teaching me, which made it really hard for me to learn how to drive. But James never yelled, and that made such a big difference. I had signed up for the 10-hour package just to prepare for the road test, so I’m going to take a break and then come back here later to register for more lessons to practice driving on the road!

Fantastic experience: Last July, my daughter experienced verbal abuse from a strange driving school instructor during her driving lessons. The instructor told her to turn off her phone before starting, and during that time, she had to endure unbelievable verbal assaults. I reported this to the police. Afterward, I found H&H Academy. Thanks to the instructors here, my daughter healed and comfortably obtained her driver’s license. Once again, I would like to thank everyone at H&H Academy for their excellent teaching!

Fantastic experience: Could not recommend Mirza enough! She is so kind, funny, knowledgeable, and patient. I passed my road test on my first try all because of her amazing teaching skills. Mirza made sure that the concepts were cemented in my mind with her quirky, but highly effective sayings. You can really tell that she loves what she does and that she’s had years of experience teaching people of all ages and backgrounds. I took driving lessons with another company years ago, but never got around to taking the road test due to health issues. I can honestly say I felt way more prepared with H&H than I did with the first company I used. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Mirza is an amazing instructor and is great at making you comfortable behind the wheel. She never yells and makes sure you're well prepared for your driving test for everything like parallel parking, k-turns, and all the little details that the test proctor will be looking for. She got me to drive on the highway safely after a few lessons and that really boosted my confidence for the test.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my road test and all because of Mirza. I have been to other driving schools but Mirza is different from all of them. She knows how to make you comfortable behind the wheel and boost your confidence. Very patient and always give you good safety advice during driving lessons. Negative experience: ROAD TEST : they DO NOT let u use the car to let you practice before the test. i wish they would have communicated with me on that because we arrived an hour before my test. it cost me $275 to take it at randolph and they sent someone who isn’t an instructor to drive me there. they also don’t drive you back (bc it was 50 minutes away?) on top of that i paid $389 for 6 hour lessons. the woman told me i should have purchased another 2 hour lessons before my test… like i don’t need another lesson, i just want to practice. in the car im testing with. i don’t remember my instructor’s name but she did an amazing job teaching me how to drive, i just wish we could have practiced beforehand, even just for 5 minutes :/

He made the lessons less stressful and made each two hour lesson go by so fast because driving with Diego was nice and relaxing. Kevin was also a great instructor, introducing the car during the first lesson and making me comfortable in the car.

They gave me thorough run down of the test and I was able to pass on the first time. I also have to thank Monica for driving us safely to Lodi for the driving test in one of the H&H driving cars.

Fantastic experience: Mirza is not only an outstanding instructor, she is an exceptional and kind human being, with the best sense of humor. I've had instructors that actually made me want to just give up on getting my license. But finding her was such a blessing. Teaching someone how to drive at 50+ takes a certain skill set, patience and just a way of assessing and explaining things so that you can truly get over the doubts/fears that come with learning later on in life. Happy to say I got my license thanks to her on my 1st try!!! There is honestly no one like her.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with H&H. Mirza is such an amazing instructor - she is not only very patient and sweet, but she also has a unique way of teaching that helps to build in the muscle memories. For every lesson, she would reinforce what was taught in the previous class and then add a little something new as extra. This would allow me to refresh my current skills, but also gain new ones. Mirza also knows how to assess my strengths and weaknesses and pace the lessons accordingly. With her expertise, I was able to pass my driving test!

Negative experience: If I could give this driving school negative stars I would. I paid almost 500 dollars for my wife to learn how to drive here and pass a road test. They teach you to drive but not pass the road test. On the day of the test I paid 150 dollars so my wife could take the test and they refused to go over some of the material at least once. Stating they don’t offer that service on the day of the test. 150 dollars for 10 minutes ! The least you could do take 20 minutes and make sure she’ll pass ! Don’t waste your money here.

Fantastic experience: Mirza is literally an angel dropped from heaven to grace us with her presence on earth! Had such amazing and enjoyable lessons with her. After five classes, I was able to take my road test and pass first time. Which is amazing considering I am a foreigner who wasn’t at all familiar with the roads in the US and had never driven a day in their life. You do need to put in the work but you will most likely not regret it!

I got Mirza as my instructor and she is the best ❤️ I was so scared because of the horror stories my friends told me about having an angry and impatient instructor. I don’t know how i got so lucky and met with Mirza! She really cares about all of her students. She is kind, patient, fun and most importantly a very good teacher! Her methods helped me quickly pick up on things that I was afraid the most about driving like parallel parking, changing lanes, driving on a highway, and etc. I loved our chats during our classes, they were a great opportunity to hang out with her! ‍♀️ I passed my driving test today on my first try! I’m so happy i get to know her! Thank you for everything Mirza! Update: It has been exactly a year since i got my driver’s license and i still talk about Mirza all the time and i am so grateful for her I’d specially recommend her for young girls and women. She is an inspiration! So one memory i couldn’t forget during our first lesson is, i was so scared to go faster than 20 and she told me to hit the gas and make as much as mistakes as i can do when i am with her so i wouldn’t do them when i am alone in the traffic, driving by myself. She said she wouldn’t let us get hurt. I haven’t met anyone like her, encouraging students to make mistakes and learn from those mistakes. And most importantly, she taught me not to be afraid of making mistakes and i have a right to make mistakes. I still try to remember that whenever i am learning something new. :)

Fantastic experience: I had Mirza Rodrigues as my driving instructor for only 3, 2 hour lessons and by the second lesson I was already feeling extremely confident for my road test. Due to her excellent teaching tactics I passed the road test with flying colors and I am so glad I was lucky enough to have her. I can't say for the other instructors; however, Mirza alone makes H & H a 5 star establishment and I genuinely believe any one can pass if they have Mirza.

Negative experience: I normally do not like to write bad review. I hired this school to help my wife. The driver showed us 25 minutes late. The car was very dirty.the instructor was not very Patient at all. He did not go over anything we wanted to practice. He was not very helpful at all. In the middle of our lesson he stop for a bathroom break that cut into my lesson time. Then at the end when we wanted to discuss our lesson he took a call and made us wait another five minutes. So our time was not to important to the driver. I then called the school. I spoke with someone that said she would speak to the manager and get make to me. So that was two months ago. So customer service 0 Car cleanliness 0 Overall experience 0.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience, as someone who has never driven any vehicle and has zero drivers in my family. Mirza has made driving an easy and fun experience! She made sure I did everything perfect and made sure I was comfortable. She's very supportive, understanding, kind, and gentle with her new drivers. Highly recommend her for anyone who has anxiety driving for the first time.

Fantastic experience: I struggled with parallel parking, but James, who was my instructor, helped so much! He explained it simply, so I was able to get it shortly after and passed my test first try.

Fantastic experience: I signed up for 6 driving lessons with my instructor, Mirza, and passed the road test my first try. She is an incredibly wonderful teacher who teaches you the skills you need at a digestible rate. I was actually taught how to drive and wasn't thrown on the wheel. The lessons weren't overwhelming, her personality is fantastic, and she has a great attitude. Mirza really cares that you learn to become a good driver! On the day of my road test, she picked me up a little bit earlier to get some final practice in - and that helped a lot! She also gave me specific pointers and common mistakes that new drivers make, which were very helpful for me in passing the road test.

Fantastic experience: I signed up for four lessons. The first three were taught by Dan, who was a wonderful instructor to have. He was very patient with me whenever I struggled with parallel parking and gently guided me as I first learned to drive. He gave many important tips that I’m sure that I wouldn’t have known without signing up for this driving school. I would definitely recommend him as a driving instructor. My fourth lesson was the day before my road test and was taught Lesly who ,although I’ve had only one lessons with, was very attentive to details in my driving skills and was also very patient with me. She helped me feel even more confident and prepared for my road test the next day, which I passed! James Lee picked me up for my road test and gave me plenty tips about the Newark road test along the way! Would definitely recommend this driving to family and peers!

Fantastic experience: 5 stars for Mersa! Lovely personality, and a great teacher. I never drove on the road before (only parking lots) and she made it so smooth that I didn’t feel any pressure just relaxed and safe driving amongst the other cars. I passed my road test today so big thanks to Mersa!! who taught me in 3 lessons how to drive and everything I needed to know for my road test. Thank you! (note: If you like me and never drove on the road before and you have an upcoming road test 4 lessons might be better so that you really have time to perfect your moves before the test.)
