Fantastic experience: I was nervous for my test. Keith was very calm and nice. I had gone to a few other places for a road test. The experience I had here is better than any place I’ve been to. If you need to get a road test done, this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing experience today with my daughter’s road test. Keith Lee was her test administrator and he was very warm and kind! My daughter was extremely nervous (I was too!) but Keith was very patient and explained everything thoroughly. And after the test, he gave some very valuable feedback to ensure she stays safe on the road! This is the best place to be for road testing and I recommend to everyone! Fantastic experience: This was an excellent choice for taking my son for his road test! Andy was extremely kind and patient. My son was very nervous about the parallel parking and Andy did a great job putting him at ease before he began. It is my understanding that Keith is the owner and he & Andy are the two that do all the testing. Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful experience! Scheduling was easy, communication was simple and Keith and Andy make everyone feel relaxed and at ease. My teenage son tested with Andy today and he explained the whole process, step by step so that he never felt overwhelmed. Andy also took the time to get to know him and asked him about school, sports, etc. Very pleasant. I had an absolutely horrible experience with a different company with my oldest son and this was a complete 180! I will tell everyone I know about Andy, Keith and Alert Driving!

Fantastic experience: I did my driving test today with Andy and it was a very smooth and good experience. Andy was both very professional and also very friendly. Made the test process feel a lot less stressful which is great for anyone who is anxious about taking the test! I was fortunate enough to pass the first time but even if I were to fail I'd definitely return here as it is very clear that Andy and Keith are good at their job and want the best interest of the drivers.

After the test, he provided constructive feedback for improvements in general. Fantastic experience: Made my appointment at the night before the test and had no issue for the booking. But also I want to specially give a special thanks to Andy. Andy reached out to me to correct my mistake about a document number and fixed it asap. He was very energetic in a very good way. Had no issue with my exam and I loved the great feedbacks on the rules that I have missed through my test. Really good experience. 100% Recommended if you are in Troy and even if you aren't and you are close definitely still recommend it!

Fantastic experience: We used a different company for my daughter 3 years ago and it was a very bad experience. We we’re looking for someone with patience, who didn’t cause additional stress and anxiety. We met with Andy and he could not have been a kinder, low stress person. He made my son feel at ease, he chatted to make us feel relaxed. at the end of our session he provided with some very useful safety tips, things that even I didn’t think about. Fantastic experience: I passed my Road Test with Keith in October, 2023. I’d highly recommend Keith as an Instructor. He immediately makes you feel comfortable and relaxed which helps you remain confident and focus clearly. When the test is done, he also provides friendly tips for future safe driving. His test schedule always starts every hour on the hour during available scheduled times.

Fantastic experience: A really good road testing company! I did my test with Keith and he was very kind and made me feel comfortable while driving. He also gave some very good tips afterwards on ways I can improve, it was an all around great experience and I would highly recommend! Note that there are two testers, Mr. Keith Lee tests at hour increments (e.g 10:00-11:00, 11:00:12:00) while Mr. Andy Haack tests at the half hour (e.g 10:30-11-30, 11:30-12:30), but I've been told that both are very good testers.

Fantastic experience: This place is a definite 10/10! I took my test this morning with Andy and he made me feel comfortable. The experience was overall pleasant. I suffer from bad anxiety and accident PTSD so before the test I had a major panic attack. Andy was calm, patient, reassured me and helped me gain my confidence to get on the road. Thanks to Andy, he helped me overcome something that has been holding me back.

Fantastic experience: Got my lisence here today, Keith was very friendly. If you want Keith, schedule by the hour (6:00 am, 7:00 am, 8:00 am, etc). If you want Andy, schedule by the half hour (6:30 am, 7:30 am, 8:30 am, etc). Thanks again Keith!!!

Fantastic experience: I took my road test with Andy from Alert Driving School a few days ago and it was absolutely terrific. I remember feeling terrified during the days leading up to my road test, but when I finally took the test with Andy all my nerves went away and I passed on the first try! He does a great job at communicating the expectations of the test, while also being very courteous and kind. My experience was remarkably smooth and stress-free. What truly left an impression on me was Andy's perspective on his role. He expressed how he considers being a part of such a significant milestone in people's lives to be a major honor. His passion for helping individuals succeed in obtaining their driver's license was evident throughout our interaction. I highly recommend Alert Driving School, especially to nervous first-time test takers!

Fantastic experience: Having twins, we were able to have driving tests with both Keith and Andy. Both were super nice and helped put the new drivers and anxious mom at ease. Their calm and easy-going demeanors made this a great experience. Both gave our drivers helpful advice on how to get better and pitfalls to watch out for. Just one thing - Keith does the tests on the hour and Andy does the tests on the :30 minute mark. Therefore, if you have a preference, be sure to sign up for the right one. That being said, I don't think that you can go wrong with either of these evaluators. Thanks for much for making everything go smoothly!

Fantastic experience: I took my road test at Alert Driving School this morning and I could not recommend it more. I went in very nervous about all of it and I was met with a calm, supportive, and encouraging demeanor from Mr. Haack (Mr. Lee was doing another test while mine was going on.) He guided me through everything and put me at ease throughout the testing process, and thoroughly explained what I could improve on at the end of my test. I 100% recommend taking your road test here especially if you're a more anxious driver, you will not regret it :)

Fantastic experience: Keith Lee has been in the business of helping kids learn how to drive for 24 years. This experience is evident. Yesterday, my son Michael has his driving test with Keith. This program is not just about pass/fail. Keith makes a concerted effort to make an impact on these young drivers and "Teach Them" during the one hour session. Fantastic experience: Keith is a great instructor. I failed the test the first time I took it with Keith. At first I was stressed and felt like I was a terrible driver. But Keith kept encouraging me through all the stress I was having. Other drivers instructors just fail you and leave you confused on what you did wrong. Keith explained my main issues and what I needed to work on perfectly. And after that, I came back the very next day and passed. With his encouragement and knowledge, even if you fail you will learn what you need to work on. Don’t pass up on an opportunity like this, because 90% of other instructors will not show the same effort as Keith will. And that I promise.
