Fantastic experience: Believe me when I say this school is rated number one for a reason!! I decided to contact LTR for motorcycle lessons. Monique was extremely friendly over the phone. She was very patient and informative when answering all of my questions regarding how to get started and what the class has to offer. Jimmy and Anthony both taught me how to ride and because of them I passed my road test today on the FIRST try. Jimmy and Anthony do a great job at creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment. Every time I got on that motorcycle, I was consistently met with patience, support and encouraging words which helped me to gain a tremendous amount of confidence in myself. Fantastic experience: I passed my road test first try learning from Jimmy! I was extremely anxious starting, barely had practice before but I genuinely don’t know where I would be without his help!!! He taught me the proper skills and knowledge not only to pass first time but to always be safe on the road. Jimmy pretty much built my skills from the ground up with only about 7 lessons and helped me brake my bad habits pretty quickly. I learned how to parallel park which I’ve never done prior to my lessons. Jimmy is super kind, funny and a great teacher but also could be super tough at times but he genuinely wants all his students to succeed. I was very doubtful of myself but Jimmy believed in me. I will forever be grateful. I highly recommend anyone especially those who are anxious drivers, you will succeed 100%!!!!!

Previously before being a student here I was a student at another school and it was a terrible experience but the experience at LTR motor sports was soooo much better. The instructors Scott and Jimmy actually teach you the steps on the road test and how to successfully pass! They care about teaching you how to drive safely and give great feedback on where to improve. Fantastic experience: This company has some amazing instructors that patiently work with you to turn you into a great driver. They help you build confidence, give great tips/tricks, and give detailed explanations of important concepts. They also have a wide variety of vehicles to learn with, from sporty cars like a Camaro to big SUVs like a Grand Cherokee. I went from never being behind the wheel before to passing the road test in 10 lessons with Jimmy's help. I never leave reviews, but my experience here was so great that I felt compelled to write one. This is the best driving school on the Island, and you should definitely give them a try with their initial driving assessment!

Fantastic experience: The best Driving school on Staten Island. 3 months ago I was struggling to find a driving school for myself. It was not easy, costing me time and headaches as I checked out different options. I was fortunate to find “Ltr. Motorsports Motorcycle and Driving School.” The Ltr representative was great in scheduling my initial assessment, after which the instructor told me I needed 15 lessons. I’m so glad I did all the lessons as suggested, they helped me become confident for my road test and as a driver in general. I passed the road test on my first try today! Big thanks to instructor Scott who spent 15 hours teaching me the many driving skills that I needed for the road test and beyond. He’s professional and resourceful which I very much appreciate. Also the owner Jimmy and Monique, they’re professional and care a lot about educating and helping their students. I highly recommend Ltr. They respected my time and I could not have gotten through the road test without them.

Fantastic experience: By far the best driving school and motorcycle school on the Island. For a motorcycle school , LTR is the only place you need to look for. Jimmy and Anthony are great instructors that genuinely care to make you a better rider and teach you the correct way. There’s plenty of schools that teach but only LTR takes the personal touch to make sure you get most out of your experience and make sure you are safe on the open road once you pass. Best Instructors, incredible equipment and family atmosphere. 100/10 My experience started when I was waiting for my girlfriend to finish her driving lesson as we found LTR for the driving lessons for her. Jimmy walked up to ask how she was doing with driving lessons and that he thinks she won’t need as many lessons but the extra lessons can help to make her feel comfortable behind the wheel (spoiler they did just that, never have a I seen someone so comfortable driving after finishing driving school). Jimmy being the genuine guy and seeing I’m a motor head asked me why don’t I try riding a motorcycle. I gave him all my reason and excuses of there isn’t enough time but would love to try. He turns around tells me you have another 20 mins till your girlfriend gets back why don’t you sit on a bike and see what you think. I sat on the bike and Jimmy then walked me through what everything is. Then goes you wanna try to ride to end of the street , I looked and him laughed and asked are serious. He’s like yeah just ride the clutch and I’ll walk the bike with you.He did just that. Got to end of block and knew I was hooked. Jimmy told me to come back the following week when my girlfriend has lessons and try to do a full orientation ride. The following week I come back for the orientation ride and after another walk around the bike , chatting technique and safety with Anthony. It was time to give it a try. My first ride Anthony and Jimmy stood next to me and walked/jogged next to me and told me what to do , and through their way of teaching it. I was smashing it and enjoyed riding in their presence. After a few laps down the dead-end street. Jimmy steps over and says that’s been an hour , how do you feel do you want to chase this hobby. I said of course , he turns around and says good because I can see you have the ability to ride. He recommended that I needed to take 2-3 lessons as I was able to get learning curve. But I chose to do 5 , reason is not to just learn how to ride but feel comfortable doing so. Getting a license isn’t hard but riding well and having someone notice your mistakes and tell you about them and teach you is worth the time and money as being on a bike is your life. Highly recommend more classes than the minimum, reason more ride time makes you a better rider and the professional eye of Jimmy (ex professional motorcycle racer) and Anthony will catch the things you do in a safe environment. Each week I came back for my lesson, the better I got and the more knowledge obtained. The unique thing I like about LTR was various motorcycles they have and Jimmy always asks what you envision yourself riding and tries to put you on a similar bike so you can get feel for what the future might bring. My dream bike was a Ducati monster after my 3rd lesson Jimmy put me on his Ninja and said take a ride for me it was something completely different even though it was riding a “bike”. This cool experience let me do something different and see the difference and was a test to see if I maybe I changed my mind. In whatever package you pick from Jimmy (recommend 5 lessons) they all come with a 5 hour prep course for the DMV this is your judgement day from LTR if you should even tempt the road test . On this day you go over all the basics again , classroom knowledge about riding and safety (btw ask questions it’s encouraged and there are no stupid questions) you’ll be surprised what you learn. The road aspect is everything you have learned plus doing a mock road test. Durning the mock road test you are graded just as on the real test. As a result I passed and joined the LTR family.

I was lucky enough to have Jimmy as my instructor, he was so pleasant and knowledgeable about all things driving/cars/tips & tricks to park, etc. He was patient even though I did a lot of mistakes and taught me the right things. He pointed out what I should be aware of before the road test. Loved our chats on our drives and feel much more confident and competent as a driver thanks to his guidance. Before I wanted to sign up for driving lessons, I checked out EVERY other Staten Island driving schools, each driving school I did my research on had its terrible flaws BUT LTR Motorsports blew all those out of the water !!! I had such an AMAZING experience with Monique and her team. In Lesson 1, I was always nervous and unconfident of my driving, whenever another car would be driving behind me or on the other lane of a two way street I would get super nervous fearful but Monique would always say “don’t be nervous your with me I got you!” and that seriously assured me that I was in good hands for learning to drive & I felt less worried. By Lesson 10 I was much more confident and ready to drive safe on the streets, Scott is SUPER GREAT too, not only was I prepared for the road test but for real life driving! I loved the idea of a evaluation drive to see how many lessons you would actually need & the fact that Monique meet up with me before the road test to not only remind me of how much I’ve improved in my driving but to answer any final questions I had or to nail a parallel parking one more time. I STILL cannot believe I PASSED on my first time. I honestly looked forward to every lesson I had scheduled, super professional & great communication !! They had a great program planned for the amount of lessons I had and took it step by step and made sure I was prepared for the actual road test itself. Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about these guys and this program. Last year I went to a different motorcycle class, went home confused after day 1, and never went back. This year I tried LTR, had a lesson with Anthony, and immediately signed up for more. He has a unique, patient, and understandable way of teaching, and things become easy to execute when he explains. To me, that was the most important thing in tying things together between what you hear and what you actually do. He showed me multiple ways to control the bike, that, as a beginner, never would have crossed my mind. After 5 classes in total, we got up to 4th gear, I passed my road test with ease, and I feel confident and comfortable enough to be on the road alone, day or night. The experience that both Anthony and Jimmy bring to the table are unrivaled, and I look forward to keeping the relationships we built along the way.

Fantastic experience: The best driving school with the nicest instructors you will meet! Never touched the wheel before but with them, had my first lesson and passed the road test within 10 days. I was extremely nervous in the beginning, but they are very patient and good at communicating instructions. This place is also really flexible with time scheduling.
