Negative experience: Waiting at the DMV because the paper work isn’t correct after taking the 6 hours. Very disappointed as one would expect they would assist with fixing whatever it is. Not worth the money for to still have to go to the DMV

Fantastic experience: A-1 peck driving school is amazing. If you want an amazing instructor ask for Nick he's amazing. So so patient and he's beyond incredible. He's kind, informative on his lessons and he is very knowledgeable. He keeps both driver and himself safe. He pushes you outside your confurt level but will guide you as well. If you make a mistake he tells you it is ok. He practices with you till you feel confident and you complete the driving lessons. I would choose nick as a driving instructor any day and you should all as well who may need lessons.

My family recently hired them for the Learners Permit 6-hour Driving Course. The entire experience was a positive experience. Our assigned driving instructor, Andrea Williams, was five star! She arrived a few minutes early to get our student ready for the road making sure he was acclimated with the vehicle, comfortable and feeling confident. She introduced herself immediately upon arrival which I appreciated very much so you would know the kind of person and instructor she was right off the bat. You definitely felt a strong heir of confidence with Andrea as she was positive, encouraging, cool and collected which to me is a huge plus since anyone who has ever taught a new young driver, knows the anxiety and sometimes fright of sitting in the car with them along the way! She made you feel at ease while fully emanating her confidence and control when she was with our student in the vehicle. Andrea also gave our student driver a “report card” after each lesson briefly reviewing it with us to give us an idea how well our student did on the road! Our student had the best driving experience with her and along with myself, highly recommends Andrea. Anytime you call their office, even if you get their voicemail, someone always calls you back within hours. They make the process easy, clear and thorough what documents you need to bring and what to expect. As far as the price range compared with other driving schools, they are slightly higher, however, you are getting full service and it is worth every extra dollar. They also offer a few different package levels for each course but each course is value packed and the service you receive from them to the way they handle the entire process, your documents and the time frame to complete the process with Motor Vehicles is highly trustworthy, professional and competent. Fantastic experience: I joined another driving school first but didn’t like it so I was checking online and came across A1 peck driving school. I would say this is the best driving school. The fee is less expensive when compared with driving schools and they are very professional. My instructor was Chris, he was so patient and asked me wheat I want to learn and taught me. Never felt I wasted a single minute or single penny to learn driving. They are the BEST. I just passed my test and I would highly recommend this driving school for anyone who want to learn driving right from the basics.

Negative experience: We signed up with A1 Peck to get my son his 6 hours of driving that he needed to get his permit. I had asked for 6 one hour lessons as he had not driven before but the only option they allowed was 2 three hour lessons (despite what their website says). How can you expect new drivers to focus for 3 hours. It is clear to me that A1-Peck want your money and want to do the bare minimum to get it. Response to A1-Peck. A1-Peck are being disingenuous in saying they do not recognize my name as I clearly state above it was my son. We took lessons back in February and March and they insisted upon 3 hour lessons, my son got carsick, so we did get to break up the lessons a little. Let me be very clear, 2 hour lessons was not an option we were given. "We are only doing 3 hour lessons right now, blah, blah". I would have happily taken 3 (or more 2 hour lessons) as 3 hours for a new driver is ridiculous and in my view tells you all you need to know about this company

Negative experience: the instructor Bruce was fantastic but the company itself is deceitful, we had purchased an entire driving package including the road test and then covid hit and all road tests were put on hold. We contacted the company and they would not honor it so will be taking our business elsewhere thanks for nothing A - - - - - for this "school".

Fantastic experience: So happy we chose A-1 for our teen! We had a great experience — from the initial setup to the six hours of driving instruction to the actual test, everything was seamless. Having the instructor come to us was so convenient and my child learned a lot. Likewise, when it was time to take the actual exam Jim was super helpful and gave her the confidence she needed to pass her test. The company took care of our paperwork and forms and made the whole experience as stress-free as possible. I highly recommend this team!

Negative experience: The instructor that was assigned to me, Joe, was extremely unprofessional throughout the entirety of my lesson. He talked about politics, his dating life, his divorce, how a teenager died in a car accident in the area we were driving in, and other inappropriate topics. As you could imagine, this was distracting and over-all stressful for a completely new driver. As soon as I got home from my lesson, I broke down and had a panic attack from the anxiety that built up from the whole lesson. I called the owner of the company, Jim, about this and after I told him everything that happened, he didn't apologize for his employee's behavior or express any compassion for that terrible experience. I cannot vouch for any of the instructors but I know the one I had was horrendous. I'm not only disappointed with my instructor's behavior by Jim's reaction to the whole ordeal.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! I used them today for a refresher class before the road test. Ease setting up the appt with the owner , who is friendly. Today we had instructor was Joe. We loved him! Personable, funny, kept my child calm and at ease. I wish I used this place for the 6 hours behind the wheel because Sussex Driving school was not good. Son didn't feel comfortable with that instructor and didn't learn much. We both feel Joe at A1 peck would have been amazing for it.

Fantastic experience: I live in Basking Ridge and although it is a little far it is completely worth it! The level of professionalism is outstanding and being located around the corner from the DMV is a hidden bonus!! My 16 year old son took the 6 hour course, along with refresher course the day before his test and past the first time with no issues!! He also took the written exam here and used their school car for the driving test! Absolutely top-notch! Would highly recommend!! A++

My daughter had Joe for her instructor and he made her feel totally at ease for her 6 hours behind the wheel. We then did a refresher course the week before her driving test and Joe went over parallel parking, k turns, driving in reverse, etc. On the day of her test, we rented the A-1 Peck car and had Joe take her to the test. He kept her calm and has a great sense of humor! She passed her test on her first attempt! I will be using this company again when my son is ready for his behind the wheel course.

Fantastic experience: I had the BEST experience with this driving school. I came home from college and had two weeks to learn how to drive and pass my test. With the help of Jim in two weeks I learned how to drive and passed my test! One of the drivers named Terry even drove me to my test! Also the owner is very nice and helpful! I can’t say enough good things about these guys! You won’t regret choosing these guys!

Fantastic experience: We had a fabulous experience with A 1 Peck. My daughter took her 6 hours right after she turned 16. They took her to the DMV got her permit and made the appointment for her actual test a year later on her birthday. She then took a refresher course for 3 hours a week ago. 2 days ago, Jim met us at 7:30am and took her over for her test. He was great and the instructors were so helpful and educated throughout the whole process. She was so prepared and felt taken care of through this stressful process. Also, they were very accommodating to my schedule. Great communication and great value.

Fantastic experience: This is an amzing driving school Terry is an amazing 10/10 instructor. I would definitely recommend him. The lessons were well worth the money that was paid. He makes sure the student is comfortable with the pace in which things are going and makes sure the student understands all of the rules on the road and even gives tips about how to drive in certain areas. All while he creates a comfortable and understanding environment where the student doesn't feel pressured or nervous when learning how to drive.

Negative experience: 6 hrs of driving costs $369 but they are not disclosing all their fees, their website does not mention that you will be charged $40 for re-test of the written test. Since the test is offered free at the DMV, this is an add on fee that is tacked on and leaves the client feeling stupid.

Fantastic experience: I recently finished my 6 hours of driving and now have my permit, all thanks to Terry. Not only did Terry give me excellent advice and clear instructions on what to do on the road while driving in order to stay safe and be a good driver, but he made me feel very confident while driving. He helped clear all my nerves while driving on the road and even made the 6 hours very cheerful and funny as we shared some laughs. I highly recommend Terry to be your driving instructor if you are given a choice.
