Fantastic experience: Rented a car for the test and did a pre-test lesson with Phil to brush up on my skills which was extremely helpful. I was a bit nervous and rusty going in but Phil was very patient, communicated clearly and gave me a ton of useful tips which gave me the confidence I needed for the test. I passed on the first try and I really don't think I would've without the class. If you decide to go with them, you'll be in good hands!

Fantastic experience: I took my road test 3 times prior to South Shore Driving School. I was recommended by a friend and immediately Mr.Phil was communicative. We arranged a practice and the road test. Which helps so much. Today was my 4th time taking my road test and I passed. I finally passed. Mr.Phil was amazing, he focuses on your weaknesses and gives great practice on what the road test would be like. I couldn’t be anymore but grateful and thankful. 5 points taken off from my whole road test exam! 5 points!! I wish I would’ve met him sooner.

Negative experience: Not speaking for myself, but for my girlfriend. I recommended this place to her because I had a good experience with Bandula, but she had an extremely bad experience with her instructor. Passive aggressive and made her extremely uncomfortable. They got in touch with her the day she picked up her five hour certificate, then wouldn't schedule any lessons for two weeks and blame her for being rusty. Most they taught her was a k-turn, which is crazy considering how many lessons she got. Super impatient and demanding, she can't use her phone at work and he got angry because she couldn't respond within 5 minutes of his text. Also talked bad about his other students during their lessons. She goes to Alyaa Driving School now, and she's only had two lessons, but she feels super confident in her driving and she'd recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: A relative recommended this driving school to me. As a beginner driver, I was not very familiar with operating a vehicle and I actually took lessons with Mr. John and his teachings were very helpful in my road test. During a couple of lessons, he advised me and I managed to get my class D license on the first try. 100% insured. Excellent for giving lessons and passing it on the first try. At the time of practice, he was very attentive to my driving skills and corrected me along the way, so I thank him again. He is very good at his job and he also practices teaching and explaining in Spanish as my first language.

They do not even compare with the level of expertise that South Shore Driving School provides. I booked a car for the road test, and was generously given a complementary lesson before the road test. The training I received was so great that with one lesson I was able to pass the road test. South Shore Driving School not only has impeccable driving expertise and teaching skills, they also have practical and important tips that you need for the road test. My only regret is I did not find this school sooner - it would have saved me a lot of money and time. Whether you are a beginner or experienced driver, please do yourself a favor and go with South Shore. Also, the cars they use are by far the best.

Fantastic experience: This driving school is one of the best schools ever! I had a lesson with them right before my road test in Fox Hills. Very patient, informative and definitely helped me build my confidence. I had many driving lessons before in other schools but with South Shore Driving School, they really care and want to make sure you pass. I ended up passing, only 5 points were taken off. I highly recommend South Shore Driving School!

Fantastic experience: Highly, highly recommend South Shore Driving School! My younger sister and I were very anxious to begin driving after years of refusing. However, after taking the 5 hour class and about 6 driving classes with Phil, we cannot recommend the school enough. Lessons are affordable and scheduling is very flexible. Phil is extremely patient, dedicated, and detailed. Both my sister and I passed our driving tests on our first attempt. We cannot thank South Shore Driving School enough for teaching us and giving us the confidence to drive.

My instructor, Phil, was extremely patient with me and calmly helped me correct any mistakes. Three weeks after my first lesson (I did 3 lessons total, plus one right before the test), I passed my road test with only one mistake!
