Fantastic experience: Csntral Texas Driving School was an excellent choice to have my son take his drivers test. The option to purchase a prep test was worth every dollar and some! The people there are super friendly, encouraging and make the experience as comfortable as possible. Lastly-them being able to process all the paperwork through the DPS, and us not having to make or have a DPS appointment, is reason enough to give them 5 stars! 100% would recommend.

Negative experience: I’m not sure of the woman's name who took my son on his driving test; however, she is the reason we will never be back for any of our kids, nor will we recommend this facility. He made an error; which was not a life or death situation; and she literally SCREAMED at him and slammed her hands on the front dash glass. Not only did she literally scream at him once but also for going 31 in a 30. I completely understand this is a serious test to pass and should be taken that way. And mistakes should definitely be brought up and discussed. But the way she acted was uncalled for. We were emailed we could come back and retest for a discount. Well we DIDN’T!! We went to another facility AND paid more than your original fee, which was completely fine with me, becuase the customer service was 110%!! He passed with a 95 and no yelling. I hope if yall have cameras in the cars so you can go back and see how unprofessional your employee is.

Fantastic experience: My daughter’s experience was great! This took the stress away from her and me. I felt so much better having her drive someone else’s car, way less stressful. When I went to the DMV it took us maybe 10minutes. Mrs Nancy put everything in an envelope for them and made it very easy. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: We have had both of our kids pass through Central Texas Driving School and have nothing but good things to say on their behalf. The instructors are patient and kindhearted which puts new drivers at ease and eliminates the fear of getting behind the wheel. The secretary at the front is a god send when it comes to getting all the paperwork prepared to secure permit and drivers license from DPS, who search for any reason to not issue documents. I would recommend this driving school to anyone in the area. Top notch!

Fantastic experience: Super easy process. I called 2 days ahead to make sure I had the required paper work and they were more than happy to answer all my questions. Driving test was scheduled at 12pm and I was headed back to work by 12:20! The ladies are awesome!

Negative experience: Registered for a drivers Ed class and paid. Went to class three time and they were canceled. Once because the AC went out, and two other times for low enrollment. They cancelled because not enough people enrolled. Then I had to leave for North Carolina to care for my grandma before she passed and came back to reschedule and they are saying they can’t reschedule nor can they return my payment. I do not recommend this school at all. They basically stole my money

Negative experience: Paid $70 and was not told that it was non refundable. Was told that they go through a script saying to look online for what you need and they did not tell me that.I did not receive a receipt and was rudely told that I couldn’t get my money back because it was her time as if I didn’t spend time and gas to get there. On top of that I couldn’t take my drivers test because I was told I needed a learners permit at the age of 21.

Positive experience: It wasn't the best experience, but it got the job done. They release drives once a week at 10am or 11am? Turns out after you keep failing to get any times they tell you that they actually do it about an hour earlier and some people in the know grab the good spots first. The driving instructor always seemed to be having a bad day and at least in one case took a phone call during the drive. By the sounds of it is was not work related. Although they open at 10am, it doesn't mean anyone will answer the phone for another half hour or more, my guess is understaffed. Last comment/suggestion is when you send out the things you need on the day of the test, just put a note on the items that the customer doesn't need to worry about if they did the lessons with you and also put what your license number is as you have to have that to do the DMV video before you can test. We waited to do the video the weekend before the Monday test, but didn't have the number, could find it nowhere online, so called at 10am Monday morning (nobody answered) they called me back around 10:45 with the information. We had to do the 2 hour video, print the certificate and literally run to the car to make the 12pm appointment. It is a small thing that really would go along way.

Fantastic experience: The best place to do your driving test if you don't have a car. Even if you have a car, I still recommend this place. Highly recommend the driving test prep before the test. You can finish the test without any hassle. Very friendly staff.

Positive experience: Great staff!!! My son had no issues and all the information was very clear. I wish the instructors during drive time would give advice and even teach some quick information instead of just “evaluating.” Also add more spots on Saturdays for kids in school, even if the price needs to increase a little more ($10 for a Saturday). My son mentioned that the breaks for the car would need to be push almost all the way in in order to get the car to slowdown and to come to a stop. Other than that very satisfy with the staff and service.

Fantastic experience: Received an email regarding what documents where needed prior to test day! This was a huge help with making sure we had everything for the driving school and DMV after. Signed our son up for the pre- test before the one that counted towards his license. Huge success. It was great having him go into his real drivers test with feedback from the instructor prior to the actual test. Well worth the money. Instructors took time and had patience with him. Really settled his nerves. He passed his drivers test 20 minutes later! So happy! All 3 of our kids have taken their pre-test and actual test with CTDS. They are the best! Highly recommend! Autumn put my mind at ease on the very first call. She is so kind and helpful. I told her what our daughter needed, and she set up a driving plan for her. The driving instructor put our daughter at ease right from the beginning. She actually looked forward to heading into town each week for her lesson. The owners are such wonderful people, as well. Fantastic experience: Tanya and her team were amazing during my instructor class training. They are very responsive and helped along the way. The course was self paced with guided instructors as well. Whenever I had questions I would get a response in less than 24 hours and many times within hours. They made sure to guide me from the start all the way to receiving my instructor license. Tanya was kind and never spoke to me in a degrading way. Have you ever wanted to start something or ask a question but afraid how the individual may treat you? I’m sure we’ve all dealt with customer service with a company where an individual is rude and speaks to a customer as if we are stupid. Well so never got that from Tanya or her team. I will always use her for my continuing education and would highly recommend her. Thank you for provided amazing education and service.
