Fantastic experience: Took a driving lesson, then passed the test first try! Instructors are great, very nice and great at teaching. Would highly reccomend.

Negative experience: “First off, the number listed on the website is incorrect. Our son took two written tests at this school. He failed both times by one point. The owner lost his test and eventually found it. When reviewing his wrong answers, he told our son that he shouldn’t look things up on line because the internet is fake. He then goes on to tell him publicly in front of all present that he failed because he didn’t read the book. I would not recommend this school or location for testing. “

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend First Pass for drivers ed. The instructor is very nice and very helpful, he teaches drivers ed very well, he explains it in a way where you understand it quickly and easily. The other staffs are great as well. 10/10 for me.

Fantastic experience: my overall experience at first pass was enjoyable. i took the november-december class, and the have great instructors who actually helped and taught me the rules of the road. They were super kind and didn’t get upset with mistakes that i made. The 30 hours of class were easy and helpful, and the 6 hour drives were fun and made me improve on my driving! Moalim was a great teacher, and Mr.Ayele was also a great teacher!

Fantastic experience: Highly professional and courteous. I took a road test here. I can recommend them to any adult driver looking for a road test or training. They will not push you for unnecessary training or additional test to increase their earnings.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to learn how to drive! It is cheap, the instructors were nice, and the courses were good. Although it may not look like it from the outside, it is a great place to learn the rules of the road.

Negative experience: First, he purposely failed me so he could make more money. When I argued with him about why he said my answer was wrong, he was rude to me and put my name on a flag at the DOL website. I had to go to the Lakewood DOL to get my written exam. This is harassment. I could have easily taken the exam at a different school, but since he flagged me, I had to go to the DOL office and waste three hours on the road. Please avoid this unprofessional person. He doesn’t know how to talk to someone respectfully, and he knows how to harass someone. In my previous review, he said that I used my phone. Did you see me on my phone during the exam? No! You gave me the answer sheet, and I pulled out my phone to prove to you why my answer was wrong, which is my right to know. Please avoid this place.

Negative experience: He is a very rude and unprofessional person. Initially, he instructed me not to use any electronic device during the exam, and I complied. Unfortunately, I didn’t pass the written test, which I accepted. However, when I attempted to show him the correct answers because I felt he deliberately failed me to prompt a retake, he began yelling at me for having my phone. I explained that he had already given me the result, so I didn’t understand why my personal device was an issue. I only wanted to show him some answers he marked wrong but were actually correct. Despite this, he abruptly banned me from the premises. He caught me searching for some questions, and it seemed he knew he intentionally failed me. Individuals like him who engage in fraudulent behavior should be held accountable. I am open to attending the exam again for further knowledge, but I believe it’s my right to know why an answer is wrong. He cannot behave unprofessionally or rudely towards me when I am asking legitimate questions. I highly recommend avoiding this place due to their involvement in fraudulent practices and the rude, unprofessional conduct of their staff.

Fantastic experience: I took a driver license test with them today, and they definitely live up to their name of being a "first pass" driving school. The person who was grading my driving test/exam was very clear with what directions I needed to make and always clarified if I misunderstood anything. Scheduling an appointment for a test with them was great where they went out of their way to make sure I could get an appointment before my permit expired and were very flexible. I wish I could rate them 10 stars!

I have took a class here once when I was a beginner driver and they taught me how with such ease and patience that I was in shock of how easy driving really was, and at the end of the year it was all success because I got my permit out of it. If I’d have to rate this place myself I’d say it’s 10/10 for its services and kindness.

Negative experience: Worst driving school ever. I paid for both my tests and PASSED even though they probably didn’t want me to and then Moha up and leaves. I made my appointment with the dmv to take my picture and MOHA is no where to be found and this new guy can’t find my name anywhere in the system smh today I’m reporting them to the Washington DOL

Negative experience: Very rude customer service line. The man I spoke with raised his voice at me for no reason and kept talking over me. It wasn't like I was being rude to him before either. I was very kind and all I was asking about was setting up an appointment. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to share my experience as an adult who went through the process of getting her license the "unconventional way" as this may resonate for some. The process was simple, I took my knowledge test for 20$ and upon passing received my permit online. I called to schedule my driving test, for 50$... but FAILED. I needed to get licensed quickly for an upcoming trip and although First Pass was extremely busy Moha made sure to call whenever someone was available. Extremely professional, understanding and polite. The second time for 30$ I passed! Thanks Moha!

Fantastic experience: We had the classes online due to the pandemic and I thought it'd be harder since classes weren't in person but it actually turned out to be easy to follow along and listen. Moha (the instructor) was pretty nice and patient with my class. He wanted us to learn the best we could and constantly did everything to try and help for our tests.

For people living in downtown and North Seattle, don't waste your time and money with other schools, First Pass is definitely worth the hike.

Fantastic experience: I took my 2 girls here and they are wonderful drivers, the guys are professional very friendly. They got their permit as soon as they started the class, they know all the traffic laws and rules. Love it, very wonderful.

Negative experience: I took the driving test here twice. The first time i reasonably failed the backing around a corner. The second time i was waiting at an intersection to go and was looking both ways multiple times and when i was looking to the left the tester told me to go and he sounded urgent so I went per his instruction and as i started to go a car was driving really fast down the street and the instructor started to freak out and be all oh my god that's so dangerous and made us go back to the school and failed me. I believe that this was intentional to cause me to fail again so that they could get even more money out of me. I will note that i was the only white person that i saw at that school both times i went to take the test. These instructors appear to be biased and will try and get you to fail. If not for that instructor telling me to go I would have passed the test. Both times they didn't even bother to write my score down on the paper. If i could give them zero stars i would

Test area doesn’t have too much traffic 3. The examiner is not super strict. I am always nervous during the test, but this test place and examiner didn’t worsen the situation
