Fantastic experience: Before I took lessons, I had very little experience driving in parking lots. I was able to pass the test after taking 4 classes with save drivers. Some instructors prefer to practice more in forest park rather than actual traffic but I thought driving in traffic helped me a lot more. My overall experience was great!

Fantastic experience: Coach Williams was very straightforward, professional, and accommodating. I found out that I had a different coach for my next lesson and called Coach Williams right after the lesson was over. Coach Williams made sure right away that I the same Coach for my next lesson which was the next day. Both Coach Gray & Coach Ken are excellent instructors. They were both patient and thorough. They made sure I knew everything I needed to pass the test. They helped me enhance my current skills and build new ones. They also helped me to break bad habits. They were instrumental in helping me build up my confidence. Due to all of their help I was able to pass the test with a 100% score after only 3 lessons. Thank You Savedrivers.

Fantastic experience: JUST DO IT! If you're someone who's been putting off getting your license for any reason please do yourself a favor and book with this company. I've put off getting my license for almost 10 years (M25) because of high anxiety and a lack of confidence. Not only did every single coach take time to explain detail of driving but they make you feel comfortable and confident. Three classes was all it took for me to pass and the price for each class is reasonable for how high quality the lessons are. Shout out to Coach Williams and Coach Ken!

Fantastic experience: I put off getting my license, since I grew up in heavily pedestrian cities, so I was a bit of an old student (27). When I first booked a lesson with Coach Williams, the prospect of finally getting a license was daunting. But he and the small community of staff who coached me were incredibly professional, personable, and reassuring. They not only prepared me efficiently and perfectly for the test; they encouraged me to trust my intuition, so I knew exactly when I was ready and didn't procrastinate. They set up the road test for me and gave me plenty of time to practice the day of (which helped settle my nerves). Safedrivers was not my first driver's ed experience, but it was by far the best. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thumbs up!

Fantastic experience: Professional instructors (Gary & Ken) and helpful lessons! Passed my drivers exam with a perfect score after taking three lessons, and that’s after failing twice before booking appointments with Safedrivers! For beginners, I recommend at least 2-4 lessons and intermediate, start with 1. Really ask questions about everything regarding tips on the driving test and what you need to work on because they are more than happy to help you. Don’t be afraid to tell the instructors what skills you need to build on so they can help you improve them. You don’t need to take many lessons since they mostly teach you the same skills, but you do need to absorb what the instructors tell you and consistently work on them after each lessons. Overall, I am satisfied with the service. However, I hope the price doesn’t rise too much further down the line so everyone can prepare for the drivers exam at an affordable price.

Fantastic experience: Best Driving school out here! Ronnie worked hard with me and didnt give up on me! I hd a really bad car accident and was scarred for life but coming here changed that. I no longer have anxiety when it comes to driving and I am so thankful for ronnie and his team! I now have my license and can live my life without waiting on others to do for me! Amazing drivers school! My daughter will be going here when its time for her to drive and shes 3 !!!!!

Negative experience: Zero stars if I could. My driving instructor, Ms. Nicole Johnson was extremely rude, impatient, and even physically aggressive. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I can’t speak for any other instructor(s), but I imagine they’re just as bad if they’re allowing people like her to teach. All I gained from this experience was stress, and increased drivers anxiety. Any mistake I made resulted in her yelling or thrashing out on me. Not a friendly or comfortable atmosphere in the slightest. The car itself was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. Waste of my money and time.

Negative experience: Negative stars if I could. Mr. Williams the driving instructor asked me if I was single. I should have reported him for harassment. The car was filled with garbage and he made me stop at Q-Tip so he could go to the bathroom. I paid for two hours but only have about an hour and 15 minutes of driving time. As a woman you aren’t safe. Mr. Williams was yelling at me throughout the drive so that he could “prepare me” for life on the road. Creep!

Negative experience: Honestly I feel I wasted money for the first two classes I purchased and I believe that was with Rico or Mr. Williams, he was judging my driving leaving negative comments, and he pretty much was on his phone the entire time and made me pull over to watch YouTube videos about driving. I would’ve gave it five stars if I could’ve had Mr. Fred for all of my lessons he really has a lot of patience and is good at teaching what you need to know as they do prepare you to learn the route of the road test. I really recommend to request Mr. Fred as your driving instructor as he will make sure that your actually understanding how to properly turn the wheel and other things needed to know for driving, he did end up telling me that I only needed one more lesson of driving and then to book one for my test, unfortunately I didn’t complete with the school as I have been driving my grandfather’s car to practice in, and I will be taking the test this upcoming Monday or Tuesday. No one keeps up with the progress of your driving you pretty much have to remember what you learned and inform your instructor if you end up with a different one about what you learned with the previous instructor. I just didn’t want to waste anymore money YouTube videos were free and I learned all I needed to know and I feel extremely confident when driving now.

Negative experience: I spent about $600 to learn driving with them in 2020, and decided not to proceed. Here is my experience: 1. I'm assigned different coach every lesson; nobody keep track of your progress. 2. I'm assigned, very, different cars every lesson. I had to get familiar with them every lesson. What is muscle memory? 3. One of the car is in bad condition and unbalanced sensitive between accelerator and break. After being assigned this car 2nd times, I complained to a coach who runs this location. He laughed at me and claimed that's my problem. At this point I decided to leave.

Fantastic experience: Great teachers and wonderful service. It took me approximately 10 hours (have known literally nothing about driving before ; without any practice after behind-wheel training hours with them) to pass the test. They supported me to get the road test on time and I highly recommend you guys to use their services if you are looking for a reliable driving school.

Negative experience: I would not recommend. As soon as my lessons started my instructor took a phone call. He then says into the phone, “let me go because I’m teaching a lesson and she’s acting like she doesn’t know how to drive.” Like Also, the instructor made me uncomfortable. He asked me personal questions like, did I go to college, what was my degree in, my RELATIONSHIP STATUS, etc. I do need more directing practice but will go with another company for future lessons. You do get to practice driving over the city and the instructor gave me some helpful tips regarding hand positioning. I also paid fort a two hour lesson but when my driving picked me up he said it was only for an hour and a half.

Fantastic experience: I been working with the coaches at Save Drivers and after my 4th class today I passed my test. Coach Williams & Coach Rush was a lot of help & they make sure your comfortable while on the rode . I’m thankful for both of them. I highly recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: At first I was a bit iffy because I felt that the rates are high but I decided to check it out anyway. I booked 2 days and by the second, I had my license! Although I had prior experience driving, he (Coach Williams) corrected my turns, the way I use my blinkers and my parking. He was extremely professional and made me comfortable. After the first day, him and his trainee felt that i was ready to take my test. Thats when I learn that the rates are incredible, its amazing training. The second day, I get a call from the coach letting me know that he's outside, absolutely filled with energy. After about 30 to 40 minutes of practice, we go to the testing site and there I take the test. I was a bit nervous because I did fail twice (this was before receiving the training). I passed with a 94! I couldn't be more happier and satisfied with the services. I 1000% recommend.

There are not enough words for me to describe how wonderful this school is for people to learn how to drive. He even drove me to the examination site and I got my license the same day! Fantastic experience: I have nothing but good things to say. I was trying to get my license before summer, but because they were so booked I could only get one lesson in. He had me stay for an extra lesson and worked around my schedule to get me going. He taught me everything I needed to know in order to pass! I’m very grateful and I highly recommend them :)

Fantastic experience: I wish I'd found this school sooner for my teenage driver - great instructors, very easy to work with in terms of scheduling. I had a question and a real person answered the phone, which doesn't happen much anymore. My teenager learned more from them in 3 lessons than she did during months of driving with family. We were able to get the same instructor for all of her lessons, which really helped. She felt calm and confident going into her test - and she passed with no issues.

Positive experience: I come from a household where no one drives or has a vehicle, so I had no one in my immediate circle to teach me. I was relying on friends here and there to let me behind their wheel, but was never able to have a consistent schedule with any of them. And taking tips from different people and practicing in a different vehicle each time, months or YEARS apart usually, obviously was not the way to go. I needed something reliable and consistent, so I accepted the fact I’d have to up the money and pay for an actual instructor. I decided to search for driver instructors in the St. Louis area. SaveDrivers had great reviews so I went with them. I am so happy I did!!! I took lessons with Fred over the summer and he was so nice and thorough! I feel like he really made the most of each and every lesson so I felt like I was getting my money’s worth. (It is expensive, especially since I was only available on Saturdays because of my full time job). I took a total of three lessons and passed my test on the first try in August! Since then, I have purchased my first vehicle and I feel very confident on thfe road. I am so grateful for my experience with SaveDriver! (And it feels great having been able to support a black business).

Fantastic experience: I loved Coach Williams! She was so incredibly patient but she had the tough love as well which was a great balance. She gave the right amount of constructive criticism but she also had a good amount of encouraging words to keep me confident. She believed that I was ready to take my test when not even I believed in myself. She built so much confidence in me in such a little amount of time. Because of her, I passed my driving test on my first try! Coach Williams has so much spunk and there was never a quiet moment with her which seriously helped with my anxiety! Although he can be a bit tough, but what he gave you is constructive criticism, knacks and tricks on the road, and invaluable driving experience (some instructors just yelled senselessly, Will only does so when you drive wrong). One time, he instructed to a coffee shop and even bought me some coffee. I thoroughly enjoy my time spending learning with him, talking bout music and just getting to know him. Fantastic experience: Omg. Where do I begin. I have been with Coach Williams the first time... I was just getting over my fear of driving years later due to a car accident I was involved in... So I was traumatized and had anxiety coming to him. He helped me so much. I took the maximum classes which was 6 lessons. 12hrs behide the wheel but it was worth it.... I failed the first time. So I went to Coach Mike. When I say he is so patient and understanding I mean it. He teach you everything thats on the exam and take you to all the locations there going to take you to. He even taught me how to parallel park. And I never did that.... So if your interested in learning how to drive and safe. I highly recommend them. I went from having no experience behind the wheel to passing my exam... I am deeply thankful and grateful for them.. I had given up. But third times the charm

When I started taking lessons with Savedriver, my driving skills improved significantly after taking two lessons. I took the driving test during my fifth lesson with Savedriver and passed it :). Choosing Savedriver was definitely worth it. Mr and Mrs Williams have commendable experience in teaching how to drive, you can tell when they are instructing you.

Fantastic experience: Coach Williams is a great teacher! He’s a great balance of being firm, but kind. He was extremely thorough with having me practice things so that I was ready for the test, and did a great job of covering everything that would be on the actual exam, so I was more than prepared (truly told me everything that would be on the exam and had me practice it several times)! This was a great program, and I’m super glad that I decided to use Save Driver!! It was also one of the best priced driving schools that I could find. Would not have been able to get my license without them!!

Fantastic experience: I contacted Safe Driver when I decided I didnt have the patience to teach my daughter how to drive. They did an amazing job with instructing her and took her to get her license. She is now a licensed driver and mom didnt gain any gray hairs teaching her. Would highly recommend them and the have a great price!

Negative experience: Not very useful. They only focus on preparing you for the road test rather than driving. Atleast, our experience does not resonate with the rest of the reviews(especially 4.8 rating). We fell in that trap and ended up wasting money on the classes. They do not teach the highway driving. They always take you to the same road(around where road test is conducted). They leave the parking training for the last class(does not make any sense). Their trainers are very rude. In our case during one of the classes, the trainer was on the phone entire time and then he made us stop and watch driving videos on youtube(you are not paying 100 dollars to watch driving videos, this you can do at home). We were so frustrated that we ended up going to other driving school. They might be 20 dollars expensive but its worth it. If you really want to go beyond just preparing for the road test, join some other driving school.

Fantastic experience: I have been wanting to get my license for the longest time and today I finally did. With the help of Mr. and Mrs. Williams and Aretha, I gained the confidence to take the test. And I passed!!!! I want to thank them so much because if it wasn't for them I'd have waited another twenty years.

Fantastic experience: First let me just say that I am so pleased and happy to have found this driving school. At 27, I never thought I would be able to drive myself anywhere because of severe anxiety. I get scared even when someone else is driving me until I met Mr and Mrs Williams. I took my first 3 lessons with Mrs Williams and the last lesson was with Mr Williams. I passed my driving test on the 4th lesson. This is something I would never have imagined would happen. I thought I would need atleast 10 lessons to be able to drive at all but I passed my test on the 4th! I am so grateful to them and I wouldnt have chosen a better school. Thank you Mr and Mrs Williams. :)

Fantastic experience: When starting my driving experience I was a nervous reck. I’ve always had a fear of driving but thanks to Mrs. Williams I am extremely confident behind the wheel!!! She was very patient with me and encouraged me when I felt like driving wasn’t for me. Now because of her I am a licensed driver! Negative experience: Would not recommend. Positives: You get behind-the wheel experience; they teach to the test and use the driving test routes to enhance familiarity and increase comfort. They also pick you up at your location which is very convenient especially if you don't own a car. Furthermore, they let you use their car for your driving test. Negatives: This company utterly lacks professionalism. Examples include cancelling and rescheduling at the last minute without regard for the client's schedule as well as lack of continuity as you are shuttled between two instructors who lack up-to-date knowledge of your progress. However, most concerning is the lack of professional behavior during the driving lessons. The male instructor would passively complain about my driving using non-constructive comments that are highly unhelpful to a learner (e.g statements like "you are difficult to teach" on a very first lesson or "you're a nervous driver") . The female instructor is much worse, she gets easily frustrated and resorts to yelling, screaming, blaming, and silent treatment- all traits that are detrimental to the beginning learner. This experience isn't peculiar to me as a simple yelp search (which I wish I did prior to using this company) revealed many similar complaints. In summary, both instructors (particularly the woman) lack basic teaching skills and etiquette and it's a wonder they chose this profession. If you are truly a beginning driver please avoid this company at all costs.

Fantastic experience: Mrs Williams were do i start very professional she told me what i was doing wrong she was yelling very calm she made me feel so much better driving but Mr Williams man he was like you gone pass we gone get you together with all of his videos it really helped being blind in one eye they ddnt turn me away they got me to where i can drive good and it was definitely worth it these twos are wonderful i would definitely recommend them if you scared like me they will help you get through it

Positive experience: I passed my drivers test on the first try! only four stars because Mrs.Williams made me feel horrible every time i got behind the wheel. She berated me often and offered little to no encouragement. She stressed me out to the max. I honestly would have given up if I had not gotten Mr.Reuben! He was absolutely amazing and on my second session with him i took my test! He offered encouragement, he was calm, if I did something wrong he taught me how to correct it, and he never made me feel like I couldn't do it. Mrs. Williams acted like she expected me to know how to drive before I started classes.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with this driving school! My very first lesson was with Aretha and she was so nice and very helpful while driving. My next classes I had with Mrs. Williams. She is a great teacher and loves to get to know her students and make them feel comfortable. On more then one occasion she would buy me something to drink form the gas station if we had to stop there. Which is very nice of her considering she didn’t have to, but she never minded juts wanted me to feel comfortable so that I would focus better on my driving. She worked me and helped me to pass my test, which I did and she was so proud me! I do recommend this driving school for anyone looking, I believe anyone would be happy with the classes and results.

Negative experience: Short Duration, not fulfilled the requirement. I opted the service looking at all the positive review, probably it was a bad day for me. My requirement was not to pass the DMV exam but to learn driving. I have specially asked that I need to practice backing up car and parallel parking as I am able to drive straight and park in the spot. By end of the lesson both the requirement was not met. Instructor Arrive to pick me 40 mins before schedule time. That was still fine. We started at 11:30 am and returned home at 1:30 PM, exactly 2 hours. I have paid for the service 2 hours behind the wheels and additional 30 mins for pick and drop from the driving location. Whatever promised was not fulfilled. Booking duration was 2 hrs 30 min was not met. Also whatever was requirement from the lesson was not met.

Fantastic experience: Really worth it! They are excellent teachers, I had very little driving experience and I’ve been wanting my license for about 2 years now. I took me 5 lessons and I took my test on the 5th lesson. Very grateful for their help. Also Mr. Williams used to actually been a driver examiner so he knows his stuff for sure!

Fantastic experience: Hello everyone, this is the best driving school in the Saint Louis. Mr.WILLIAMS is a GREAT instructor, and they are really nice and indeed they work with you until you get the licence. I am from India and never drove a car in my life. I took 4 classes from another driving school, and attempted for the test, but I was failed, subsequently I lost my all confidence. Then I approached "SaveDriver Services", and I have taken another three classes with this school. I had an amazing experience first with Coach T and then my other lessons with Coach Williams. Really Mr and Mrs Williams were helped me a lot, and they taught me more techniques. Mr. Williams polished and finessed my driving skills in the last two classes, his humor and his calm, positive attitude helps a lot for me. He has a lot of useful information and his personality is the best. He encouraged me to go for the road test in third class, but myself I am not really confident on that time. In 4th class I have practiced 20 min, and he said "I am ready for the test". Really he motivated me with full confident, and I have attempted the test with their car, I made it with 96% score. Really I am so much thankful to both the instructors. I am highly recommending "SAVEDRIVER SERVICES" to everyone looking for a good driving school.

Fantastic experience: Started with a fear or driving and no experience. A few lessons later, I not only gained the confidence needed, but also got my license with the encouragement from the staff. Was never any pressure, always supportive and motivating, and eager to get their students their license in the shortest amount of time. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I am a 28 year old who for years procrastinated in getting my license. As time went by the more discouraged I got. I thought I would never get a license. I could no longer do it . Depending on people for rides or turning down job opportunity. So I set a goal for my self to have my license this year. Didn't know we're to start so I looked up driving schools and came across this one. I'm so thankful I did. This school is the best. I had coach Tee has a instructor. She was aswome. She gave me the confidence I needed and gave me a lot of great driving tips. I took two lessons with the school before taking my driving test and pass the first time with a 94%. Fantastic experience: I only had under 15 hours of driving experience(6 hours with Safedrivers May/2017).I decided to ask my brother to take me to the DMV for the road test,but lost confidence in taking the test due to him feeling I wasn't ready. That really put a damper on things,and I ended up waiting an entire year. Coach Aaron really helped me with my confidence. I was a nervous wreck from the time I signed up for the lessons until I actually started driving. I really appreciated the constructive criticism. He was really patient with helping me brush up on the skills that I needed the most work on. After a few hours, I felt I was ready to take the road test. I really was ready because I scored an 84! Fantastic experience: I took their class 5 times and I passed the driving test with almost a perfect score. Yay me! I had been scared to be back on the road when I failed the driving test on my first try. But Mr. Williams was really supportive and cheered me up. He taught me the exact way to drive safely and smoothly which was really important to pass the test. I just got my driver's license but I am not scared of driving anymore.
