Funny Bone Defensive Driving

Fantastic experience: This course was awesome! It flowed, and it was informative. The best online driving safety course thus far!!

Negative experience: Took the class online. It did give a lot of information, But the online course was dry and not funny at all. If its called Funny Bones, I expect it to be funny. It was not funny at all. The lady the talked for the video had a weird jerky body movement and kept bobbing her head all over the place, weird facial expression. by the end of the course I could not stand her voice and started counting her head bobs (24 bobs in 30 seconds). Arm all over the place. The few jokes were really bad.

Fantastic experience: I was dreading to attend the defensive driving lclass due to 6 hr time commitment, but I felt that Ms. LaDona Claude's class was informative and eye opening especially when she passionately discussed about DWI. She also gave us many real scenarios which must to be aware of in order to avoid getting a ticket or being arrested. The meal at Casa Chapala was yummy and clean place.

We got breaks and we got a good meal which included enchiladas of your choice of chicken, beef, spinach, or a salad. With water or tea to wash them down. A little something for everyone’s taste buds! She remembered everyone’s name and called you by such throughout the class. Very helpful to make sure you understood how to receive your certificate and driver records. I want to attend the class again just because she’s amazing. Every single person in the class left satisfied! Thank you LaDonna!!!!!

Fantastic experience: LaDonna gave a great class, provided information in an easy format which was fun and easy to follow. Able to provide good examples and demonstrations to make her point on certain topics. Good lunch provided during presentation, which made the class time seem much shorter and went by quickly.

Fantastic experience: Engaging, interesting and very articulate. Not exactly my ideal way to spend a Saturday but since I had to... it was a good choice! LaDonna made the required hours fly by and I walked away knowing more than I did before the class. The process was also very simple to take care of my out-of-state ticket.

Positive experience: I will not do the class with you again i spend my 6 hours hangry yes you ordred pizza I told the guy i dont eat meat when pizza comes it was all papparoni and the problem it was no where around to go and get some food i stayed hangry all thos 6 hours and the teacher even doesnt care about me if i eat or not no way i will go with schoole provide real food and drink its 6 hours man .

Fantastic experience: Great class at a convenient north Austin location. Ladonna was a great instructor, who made the material fun and informative. She is excellent at facilitating group discussions and using real life incidents to explain concepts. Plus there is a good lunch included with the course.

Fantastic experience: I just took a defensive driving class with LaDonna at Funny Bones located at Casa Chapala Restaurant. It was great! LaDonna was very inspirational and passionate about helping people! I was going to take an online class but decided to go to the classroom setting and so glad I did. It was a great experience and I would recommend anyone to take this course. I think they should send LaDonna into the public school system to teach students the affects of DWI. 5 stars for sure!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dinner was excellent. LaDonna was very informative and covered many topics with a lot of examples. Even called a cop friend when she did not know the answers! The class went so fast. Worth every penny. Also very interactive!

Negative experience: Don't waste your time. Said on their website they had classes on Tuesday from 4pm to 10pm. I showed up at the location they said. Chapala Mexican restaurant. Walked in the door the workers in the restaurant pointed me to a back area. Where they usually have the class. Waited about 30 minutes. The people at the restaurant insured me that the instructor would be there shortly. At that time I called funny bone. And the lady told me "NO" that they weren't having it tonight that it showed on their website on the drop-down that it was cancelled. Which it did not show in the drop-down that it was cancelled and she proceeded to tell me that the instructor had a family emergency and was not going to show up tonight! People have lives at least call the restaurant and let the people at the restaurant know that you aren't going to have the class tonight! What a waste of time! I have taken this class many times in the past and probably donated quite a bit of money to this company but I will not be back again and I will never use their services ever again.
