Enhanced Driving Institute - WI

Fantastic experience: I was a little hesitant to sign my son up for online driver's education but in-person did not work with our family's schedule. Not only did he complete the course, he was actively engaged and completed it sooner than we predicted. I am very pleased with EDI.

Positive experience: The videos contained thorough information about driving rules and the responsibility of driving. I appreciated the lessons about distracted driving - good review for parents. The instructor was easy to listen to, as well.

Fantastic experience: The student course is VERY thorough. It has been many years since I went through Driver's Education. The instructor was engaging and I love the incorporation of so many videos to bring lessons to life. As a former law enforcement officer, I was especially grateful for the videos that drew much-needed attention to the dangers of distracted driving. My son was riveted to the lessons and that speaks volumes to me. The parents' course was REALLY helpful. I have never taught anyone how to drive before so I genuinely appreciate the help.

Fantastic experience: Julie is literally the best! So accommodating and helpful. She makes the drives fun, but she is also very professional, and knowledgeable. Julie teaches/reviews by using little songs. It really helped my son! He was so nervous and her demeanor calmed him down immediately. He was dreading driving, but now is excited for his next drive with Julie. THANKS JULIE! You are literally the BEST!

Fantastic experience: For a subject that I was not that familiar with, I felt that I was able to learn quite a bit and it has raised my confidence moving forward. It is a very detailed course with lots of useful information.

Fantastic experience: EDI made it so easy for my daughter to take get all the info she needed for her driving test. They were very thorough with all their information. i definitely recommend using EDI especially if you have a child in a lot of sports, they are able to work at their own pace!

Fantastic experience: Travis and Tina have been absolutely wonderful for both of our drivers. They take the time to explain things during and after the lessons. They also make sure that our new drivers are comfortable and confident in the techniques that they are learning. It has made our family feel more reassured about our teens going out on the roads on their own. We highly recommend EDI to anyone looking towards this milestone.

Positive experience: EDI taught me that there is more to driving than just pushing the pedal and turning a wheel. There is more to a car than what you see on the outside. There is more behind why accidents happen than just "luck". This driving school taught me all the "what's, "why's" and "how's" that I need to know about driving now and all throughout my life. I am truly grateful for everything they do.

Fantastic experience: Really great program, only thing to know ahead of time is that they show a lot of mock crashes and a few real crash videos so talking with your teen after they saw a sad one is a good idea.

We had a VERY bad experience starting at Zimmerman Driving School (which I've heard many others have too) so we transfered to Enhanced Driving Institute with Travis and he was so welcoming and made sure my son could finish and get his license by his birthday week like we wanted, I can't say enough good things about this place thank you so much!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a really great experience with EDI. I Was able to learn many new skills when driving. Thanks to Travis and his fast reflexes I didn’t side swipe a police officer going through a two lane round about. EDI has taught me many very valuable lessons that I will remember for the rest of my life.

Fantastic experience: I loved the online enhanced driving institute course. you could go at your own pace which I really liked. It was really convenient, you could do 2 lessons a day for 15 days and finish if you really wanted to. I’m in behind the wheel right now and the teachers are really nice. You are able to have a conversation about your day while you’re driving or sitting in the back. They always have a good attitude going into the session to bring up confidence.

My daughter is home schooled, and we had arranged a lesson where she was the only student. Travis understood my concern as a father, quickly acted to ensure she would drive in a group, and was empathetic to my concern. I feel great about our choice of driving instructor, and our remaining 3 children will be EDI students as well... Highly recommended!

Negative experience: I can never reach anyone by phone. They take a long time to call back after leaving voicemails. I called a week ago.

Fantastic experience: cannot recommend the Enhance Driving Institute enough for new adult drivers! 10/10. Travis took a complete novice like myself from being completely nerve-wrecked about the sheer thought of driving to confidently taking on the road test and earning my license in just over 6 hours in about a month. He is very easy to get along with and cares about your success! Incredibly flexible and great value for the 1:1 instruction.

Fantastic experience: Both of my kids have taken their lessons through EDI. The staff is always fun and lighthearted for the kids which helps to take the stress of them. Would recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: Our twins went through Enhanced Driving Institute for their driver's education training. As parents we could not have been happier or more impressed with the experience. The in-person classes were offered at the Tomah High School for 2 weeks after school which was so convenient for our family. Travis provides parent training too which was a valuable tool. His driving lessons are through and detailed. He provides a grading sheet after each driving lesson to show what skills our boys had mastered and what they needed more practice with. This is a valuable tool we were not offered by another driving school with our older son. Travis maintained open communication with both our children and us as parents. We were highly impressed with our experience with Travis and Enhanced Driving Institute. We recommend this program very highly!

Fantastic experience: I am 23 years old and was very nervous about finally trying for my license after years of putting it off. I passed the road test my first try with the help of Travis’ program and instruction. His patience coupled with his honesty helped me immensely as I can be a very anxious person especially when learning a new skill. If anyone is like me, an adult without a license and a slight fear of driving, I would encourage all of you to go through Travis because he is definitely the best. Thanks Travis!!!

Fantastic experience: We are very pleased with the EDI program. The parent meeting at the end of the classroom instruction course was very informational and I felt that it was even a little emotional as they touched on the serious aspects of our children driving. The meeting also had some funny parts which I think most parents and teens can relate to. Our daughters first behind the wheel experience was great as well. Her instructor was very knowledgeable and good at making her feel comfortable and put her at ease right from the start. Fantastic experience: As a 25 year old adult who had never driven in his life, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find a school that would teach me. However, after my first lesson with Travis from EDI, not only did I overcome my fear of driving, but gained new confidence in my abilities. Travis was incredibly patient, understanding and encouraging in our first few lessons, such that I decided to bring in a friend to take lessons with him. His ability to accommodate with our schedules was unprecedented. His professionalism and personable attitude made each lesson enjoyable and comfortable. I went from no experience to passing my drivers road test on the first try and all thanks to these amazing humans.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about EDI and the staff. I highly recommend them. They truly care about the students and their safety. My daughter took her drivers ed through them and took last behind the wheel just as Covid-19 was peaking and things shutting down. When I seen they were offering a road test prep lesson I emailed Adam and he reached out to see if anyone could get Morgan in for a lesson quickly. They were able to find someone. She took her road test today and passed on the 1st try. Amazing staff for sure.

Fantastic experience: Great instructors at edi I loved having travis as an instructor. He was super flexible when I missed 2 weeks due to baseball. He gives the best snacks during his lessons with a 10 minute break which let's you relax for a little bit before the lesson starts. I was worried about DE when I heard of how terrible the instructors must be a Zimmerman. Then I checked the reviews of edi and immediately scheduled my lessons. It also is comforting that the main school in rochester is an ex cop Thank you Edi.

Fantastic experience: I am someone who has been in car accidents as a passenger and actually hit by a car when I was crossing the road to save an animal, the driver was speeding. E.D.I. is owned and run by some of the most caring individuals that are extremely knowledgeable in their field. The owner actually cares for people, not just the people he instructs but all people on the road. He has truly found his calling, I am always impressed with how much of his personal time he gives people just to ensure they are confident and absorbing the lessons. Some driving schools just throw papers at you, tell you to practice, give you some drive time, and Goodluck! E.D.I. takes a personal interest in your success and your ability to not only get your drivers license but to be a safe driver. Thank you Travis!!!!

Fantastic experience: I’m glad that I took EDI, it was very educational and I learned many things that I didn’t know before. We wore drunk goggles which showed us the effects of what it would look like the be impaired and try to walk around. Travis also made class fun by telling stories and joking around with us. Travis has his own popcorn machine and gave us popcorn for free. He also has snacks and drinks that cost 1$ per item.
