Negative experience: It's been a few years but this is my second child enrolled here. It was hard to get drive time scheduled back then. It is near impossible now. After speaking with a female staff member yesterday, it became clear to me that blame is being placed solely on the customer and not on the company. No less than 10 times was it brought up 'when' we started attempting to schedule drive times (I was giving my son driving lessons before putting him in there hands) fulfilling the parental obligation...and as others have mentioned it was brought up how many times we had tried to log in and how it was outside of Wednesdays or 4:30. I get off work at 4:30 on Wednesdays. I'm trying to log out of my employer system. So I may be seconds or minutes late logging in to Mansfield driving education system. Today I managed to log in at exactly 4:30. For the first time ever I saw two open slots. I clicked on one and immediately it gave me the standard message of there being no available time slots. I started clicking refresh and suddenly a spot appeared again. I clicked on it and a time appeared. I clicked on that and now we're back to the message that there is no time slot available. This is maddening. I was told during my call that two other drivers education companies had closed down in the area and that they have taken on all their students. They feel they are well staffed but clearly they are not. At the same time they invited me to send anyone their way that was willing to do the job. The only positive thing I will say is I was told they are willing to work with parents who find their student is unable to complete the driving portion of the class. So while I cannot give a good review at this point in time, I hope to revise some of it by June.

Negative experience: Their website is a ripoff! They took my payment and never scheduled service. Their website says you pay first and then someone contacts you to schedule. 3 months later and they won't answer phone calls or reply to emails. Stole my money.

Negative experience: It's basically impossible to get a drive time at this place. My son has only driven once since he got his permit in August! The expiration is Feb. I see the school addressing the time gap between completing class and registering to drive but I'm sure they are aware that getting the permit takes a while thru DPS to get an appointment. We have logged in at 4:30 on Wednesdays, attempt to grab cancelations, and sent an email with no response. At this point we will have to look elsewhere to complete his lessons. I hate I wasted my money. It's very disappointing for the kids as well who are ready to or need to drive!! My son is a Sr this year and we were hoping he could drive by now. This is so disappointing! Avoid the headache and avoid this school!!

Negative experience: The driving academy is okay as far as taking the required classes to get the learners permit. However scheduling for the actual driving lessons are horrible and there are never any sessions available when trying to schedule lessons for my son. I paid for the all inclusive pkg ($400+) and have requested a refund of the driving lessons portion of the cost. I haven’t heard anything back from them.

Negative experience: Absolutely DO NOT use this school. Read all the bad reviews. They have a first come, first serve policy for the driving lessons, and it is scheduled through their website, an online first come, first serve, for spots. It is impossible to get a lesson. Literally, the second they open lessons for scheduling, they are all gone. My son has attempted to get a spot since September and has had no luck. I have called and reported this problem to the school, and ultimately, they do not care because they've already been paid. They will not attempt to help schedule your child but they will however spend the time to dig through their records and attempt to discredit the Google reviewers here who are simply parents of kids that have spent $400 to have our children taught formally how to drive. We just want this business to make good on what they were paid for. Do you really want to spend your money with a business that wants to argue about scheduling and provide no assistance to rectify the situation and then discredit your efforts. They leave you with the mentality that you should spend every Wednesday at 430 having five family memebers logging in and attempting to get a lesson and even then still not being able to beat the rush of over populated students flooding the website to get a single lesson. If you call and ask for a portion of your money back, they tell you that the lessons are actually free and you paid for classroom learning. Which is their manipulative way to avoid refunding money when they dont make good on scheduling your child. I am considering small claims court to get the portion of money that is supposed to be for practical lessons refunded since they are unwilling to help schedule him to assure he gets lessons before he turns legal driving age. Most likely, the struggle for refund will not be considered because they say the lessons are free with the package. From the looks of the reviews, I should start contacting all of the people here who have the same problem. Some of which look to be a year or more old. Maybe I should inquire if they want to join me for a class action lawsuit. You should all choose a different school that will treat customers with priority based on when they took the class. My son took drivers education in July, and in the five months since he has been able to acquire one lesson out of the seven that they are obligated to provide. At this rate, he will turn 16 before they ever finish his driving lessons. DO NOT USE THIS SCHOOL. Standby for the manager/ owners' rebuttal that will attempt to discredit our efforts to log in and schedule lessons, complete with date and time stamps that undoubtedly will follow my post probably fabricated or incorrect due to their website crashing and freezing constantly during scheduling because of the overload of people attempting to refresh the page over and over and over. Because that seems to be the type of people that own this business. Definitely not helpful, and do not actually care about your child or their driving. They care more about the money that the next class will bring in than helping customers. If you want to pull records, how about pulling all the records of students that have been trying to get lessons and tell everyone on google how long some of those students have been trying to get into a lesson at your school.

Negative experience: I really wish I had just done the state approved parent taught instruction because THIS process has been frustrating and expensive. I could have saved myself $350 but thought my daughter would benefit more from someone else instructing her. So far I have done all the hours with her because they never have times that she can go to. Two lessons per week or even four is ridiculous for a school who has had this many students. All they have done for this $450 is the permit test. At this point she will be 18 and hasn’t gotten one driving lesson. I paid for the driving test and sticker there too and I can’t even get that. When I asked about it they told me I could not schedule the driving test on a certain date before her permit expired. I didn’t get the little $5 sticker from them either they told me they were out. I asked to have someone else call me and that never happened. It’s just been a bunch of round and round with people who don’t care. Then they have the audacity to try and put people in their place on these reviews and tell them they just aren’t trying hard enough to get a lesson. You didn’t log in or you only logged in this many times, like they don’t have separate accounts trying to get in. Or They text you and say in one hour there’s a lesson available do you want it? People work. People have other kids and kids have school and jobs too! Hire more people to do the lessons or stop taking peoples hard earned money. As owners YOU should be ashamed of yourselves having this many complainants about the same thing and doing nothing to resolve the problem.

Fantastic experience: The staff are nice and friendly. The instructors are professional. They give great advice, and their lessons are top quality and informative. Scheduling is straightforward and easy to do. This is an excellent service that really prepares you for driving safely on the road. I highly recommend them for learning to drive and taking the driving test.

Negative experience: Do NOT send your child here!!! Once they complete the written part it is impossible to get drive times!!!! They are released every Wednesday at 4:30 pm and are gone before you can hit the schedule button. I log on 2 minutes before and they are gone. This system is ridiculous. My son has only been able to drive once since finishing in July. And need 7 drive times before he can get his license February 1st. Staff does not care! This is every week!!!!

Good morning, thank you for this feedback. I was able to pull your log in history and unfortunately you have only logged in one time at 4:28pm and that was August 14th where you secured a drive time for August 28th. The other two Wednesday logins were at 4pm. We understand your frustrations but you have had success when logging in on a Wednesdays at 430pm and we hope you keep logging in at 430pm to secure the drive times. Your student has a full year to complete the drive times as the contract is good for one year. Also, your student received his permit in July but did not register for Schedule2drive until August therefore that delay can slow down the process. February is only 7 months from the time of receiving his permit and he still has 5 more months after that to ensure they are all completed. Again, sorry for the frustrations but we are here to help anyway we can.

Fantastic experience: We did parent taught drivers ed and decided to schedule our sons road test with Mansfield Driving Academy. From the reminder email listing everything we needed to bring (which was super helpful) to them uploading all of our documents so we can skip the DMV entirely, our experience was wonderful. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with my driving instructor. His name is Mr Howe. He was extremely kind and gave me good reminders before the test. Whenever I had any questions, he was always there to provide clear and helpful answers. His calm demeanor really helped ease my pre-test anxiety, making me feel much more confident and focused. After the test, he gave me a lot of valuable advice, pointing out areas where I could improve while also highlighting what I did well. His guidance was really appreciated and I would highly recommend him to anyone preparing for any driving test. This is definitely a place

Fantastic experience: I did my road test here at the Mansfield Driving Academy, and had nothing bad to say about the experience. I was extremely nervous, but the proctor was nothing but kind and patient with me. They WANT you to pass, and they’ll help you not feel as nervous about the test. Just pay attention, and you’ll do perfectly. That’s all I have to say, I’m not the best at writing reviews, but I just had to give this place 5 stars. Thank you, Mansfield Driving Academy.

Fantastic experience: Tuve una excelente experiencia con ellos. Mi hijo no tomó clases con ellos pero si tomó el examen práctico de manejo. Me pude haber enojado pues la primera vez mi hijo no pasó su examen pero no me enojé sino que lo tomé cómo que ciertamente mi hijo no estaba lo suficientemente listo para manejar . Lo volví a practicar por dos semanas y volvió a tomar el examen con el instructor y siiii pasó su examen . Muchas gracias !!! Primero me encantó la responsabilidad del instructor . Me fue sincero en decirme que el no lo veía listo todavía . Así que le doy la gracias porque primero vale la vida de mi hijo y de los demás antes de tener una licencia y no estar listo para manejar . Fantastic experience: I like the fact that they offer pre-test and retesting options, if needed. We didn’t utilize either of those services, but it was nice to know it’s there. I also like the option for them to submit the paperwork to the state, to save a trip to DPS, if needed. All of the employees were kind and professional. In the words of my son, “the test was less scary than I expected.”

Negative experience: Trash! Don’t waste your time coming here! My son came here and the road test was a total disaster for him!!! He failed him because my son did not step on the brakes hard enough so he could feel a jerk when he stop! Or even though my son parallel parking was good he was pointed for not being 6 inches from curve! Did you bring a ruler to measure etc…….

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend The Mansfield driving Academy they were absolutely incredible. Both of my kids have gone through there for their test and with this new opportunity to actually get your drivers license license through there instead of going to the DMV they totally rock. Negative experience: Do NOT waste your time or money. Please read all the negative (and very true reviews). My older child had gone through this company about six years ago; at that time it was phenomenal. Fast forward to this year-my youngest daughter took the classroom portion and then had to wait several months to get her permit. Once she obtained her permit, about 2 months ago, I began trying to get drive times—I am not exaggerating when I say they are gone within seconds of being posted. Calling their office is absolutely of no help either. We just get “well, we will call you if something comes up.” I specifically paid extra money for this school so that my child would get the driving experience with someone besides my husband and I. Seriously, go elsewhere - save your money, your time and your sanity.

Negative experience: I’m giving 1 star because the classroom instructor was great. The instructor that did 2 lessons with my daughter made her feel comfortable and he was good. Unfortunately, it’s 99% impossible to schedule the drive times. Their system needs help. They offer the drive times online at 4:30 on Wednesdays. You can be logged in and refresh over and over and by 4:32 all drive times are taken. They are taking on more students than they can provide drive times for. It’s not cheap and we are now paying another company to have the ability to finish my kid up. Poor customer service, they either need to accept less students or get more instructors, hello it’s a ratio thing. The drive time is a huge waste of money, and it’s not cheap. I’m losing about $400-$500 dollars because they are not able to provide the service. Also, don’t come at me about I,was only logged In however many times…the times I was logged in I had multiple family members trying to secure a time, that is ridiculous!! Accept that you are taking in too many students and cannot offer enough drive times.tome to stop blaming covid….

Thank you for your feedback. I wanted to address your concerns about getting drive times. I did some digging and found your students account who joined our school back in June of 2023. I noticed on the account your student did not log in to get a drive time until April of this year which only leaves 1.5/2 months to get all 7 driving lessons in. We ask our students to log in and start trying to get drive times asap when they receive their permits and most students are able to do so a month or less after starting our class. I did also notice that there was only one time on a Wednesday that you logged in at 4:28pm and you were about to get a drive time squared away that day. Unfortunately, the other log in times were outside the window we ask that our students log in. We see our students have success in completing their driving lessons within the year of their contract when they do so within a month of starting our program and logging in on Wednesdays at 430pm. Sorry that your experience was different and we do hope that you are able to complete the process to receive your students license.

Fantastic experience: My daughter took her driving test yesterday (7-28-24) with Mr. Howe. She was extremely nervous initially, almost to tears. He eased her worries and she successfully passed her test! Mr. Howe made sure to give us all the information we need for her DPS appointment on Wednesday.

Negative experience: Please read reviews before you buy, it can save you alot of money and frustration. I signed my kid up on June 11, 2024. She has watched the schedule, only released on Wednesdays at 4:30PM, and has only managed to be able to schedule one time. That appt she had to cancel because I fell and broke my ankle and had to go to the ER. After which her account was deactivated, until I called to find out why. Tracy answered my call, her mannerism was deplorable. She had a very bad attitude with me on the phone the entire conversation. Here it is, July 27th, still not able to schedule another appointment. I have paid $380 + the $35 for my emergency cancelation (even explained that to Tracy, which only responded "after you pay the $35 I can reactivate the account ". 99.9% of all other places waive the fee for emergencies) and we will have to reschedule her DMV appointment for the end of Aug because there's no way. They only offer refund after 3 days...had I known a month would go by and no appts available I definitely would have taken my money elsewhere. Read the reviews left at the BBB as well they say the same thing as the Google reviews. No drive times (one was a whole year with no drive time, you're only given a year to complete) and the lady on the phone is very rude. To the owner. Yes, I would appreciate a refund of the $35 I had to pay to get her account reactivate, please refund it to thw card I paid with. If you don't have a lady named Tracy that answers your phone, then maybe you need to have a discussion with all who do answer the phone about honesty, and attitude. I would also like to correct you when you said she was able to get 2 drive times, that is incorrect, as stated above she has only been able to get one. If she had a second one on the 22nd and "no showed" wouldn't you think I'd be charged again? She says the way the system is set up - if you refresh the page when you log in before 4:30 and go through all the steps that you have to follow before you can see the schedule, then you have to re log in. Per your responses to everyone complaining about drive time (which seems to be ALOT) if you're going back to everyone's log in time and arguing they didn't log in at 4:30, are you seriously expecting everyone to log in at exactly 4:30:00 every time. Come on get real and start being honest with yourself first then the people that are paying you $350+ for something they're not getting. If you don't have enough instructors then you need to stop accepting people's money for a service you can't deliver - then give them 3 days to ask for a refund (that's a joke). I am fully aware when her permit expires, hence my statement above about having an appt in August....that's when she planned on getting her DL...not sure why you mentioned that since it has absolutely nothing to do with the subject. Give people the drive times that they paid for if you pride yourself in taking care of your customers.

Good afternoon, Thank you for your feedback. We were able to pull up your students information. We have verified that you only logged in on Wednesday at 4:30pm 2 times out of 11 logins. When you did log in on June 19th at 4:33pm you were able to get a drive time for the 22nd and we noticed you actually canceled that one and then was able to get another one also on the 22nd. So it seems you are able to get drive times as we have stated to our students when you log in on Wednesdays at 4:30pm. I am not sure who Tracey is as we do not have female who answers our phones named Tracey. We would like to waive the fee for you regarding the cancellation as we do understand emergencies come up. My husband and I are owner and operators and we take pride in ensuring we take care of our customers. After looking into the account I did notice your daughter will be 18 soon which means the permit will become invalid so please check the expiration date on the permit and if it does expire you will need to get to the dps to get it renewed.

Negative experience: I do not recommend. When my son took lessons here it was good and easy to schedule but now it sucks. You have to wait 7 days, was 14 days between scheduling appointments and they only release the times once a week. So if you are not on there right at the time you are out of luck. Even if you are logged in at the time they release the schedule the times go so fast that you still can't always get a slot. I do not like there new way of doing things! If had not already paid for her driving time I would take my teen somewhere else. Also the one drive my teen was able to get the instructor was so rude and yelled at her while she was trying to drive. This was my teens first time behind the wheel and being yelled at made her extremely nerves for her next drive. Follow up to response: Yes my daughter did sign up in 2023 but did not get her permit until May of 2024. I started logging in to the Schedule2Drive site as soon as she got it. Yes I have only logged into the site for drives twice that is because we are not allowed to schedule a drive until the 14 days at the time has passed. So there is no point in logging in if I am unable to schedule. The point is the system does not work as well as you think because I am not the only one that has had negative things to say about it.

We understand the frustration of how difficult drive times can be to secure but this is the very reason we ensure we express how important it is to sign up for Schedule2drive and start the process as soon as possible after receiving their permit. We are here to do whatever we can to help and we ask that you continue to log in at 4:30pm on Wednesdays as we have seen a lot of success from our students whom do this weekly. Your student will complete the program and will be successful. There are only two days were you logged in on a Wednesday at4:30 and those days you secured a drive time. The process works. As far as the instructor I am very sorry about this interaction. It is unlike this instructor to do that as they are very experienced. Negative experience: Customer service is rude. They are happy to take your money for the class but when you go to schedule drive times they’re months out so your kid gets cheated and if you call to point this out they gaslight you. Go to maverick in Mansfield instead.

Fantastic experience: Wanted to update: MDA turned out to be a great experience overall so I’ve upgraded to five stars. Getting an appointment was occasionally challenging but not impossible. The driving instructors were patient and solid; Mr. Howe runs a clean place with a lot of excellence. My son is a better driver for going through MDA.

Good morning, Thank you for your feedback. I would like to address your concern for sure about drive times. Drive times were not an issue until Covid hit and then we naturally received a back log of students but of course people had already signed up for classes so when we returned we had more students. In our best effort to help address the issue we did not offer any traditional classes this last September or October and to be honest it left us hurting financially. Unlike our drive school competitors in town whom closed as of recent we have been able to thankfully maintain our business. We truly want to offer what is best for all and we do not like that anyone has a hard time getting drive times. We have thankfully hired another instructor to help but that process isn’t easy as well because unlike any job the amount of training hours you have to have to be an instructor is a ton so very time consuming. The instructor we did get was someone whom already had their training so we were able to hire them immediately. Please do not take any of this as an excuse or a way to tell you we don’t understand your frustration or do not care but simply to shed some light on what is truly happening. We believe in customer service and we believe it is important to be transparent and honest. Thank you for trusting us with your child’s driving experience and we do hope it gets better. Most of our students who receive their permits after taking the class and immediately start logging in at 430pm on Wednesdays do however find themselves completing the drive times before they turn 16 if they started at 15. Each student has to hold their permit for 6 months before they can test for their license if they are already 16 so that is why we highly encourage starting at 15 and then taking the full year to get everything done. Thank you again for your open and honesty but please know we are here to help and we understand.

Positive experience: Class time instructions were quick and easy 2 stars for Drive Time, it was difficult and limited to only a handful of time slots.They were up at 4:30 on Wednesdays, within seconds they were snatched up. So you have to be quick and choose whatever time available...that's if you were lucky to get one. However most of instructors were great! Mr. Howe the drive test instructor deserve 5 stars, he was so patience and friendly with my son prior to his test.

Fantastic experience: Mrs.ginger busocker WAS THE EVER if you take your test I 100% recommend you go to her because she actually cares for the people in the drivers seat. I didn’t have a ride home after my test and she took me home and made sure I got there safe she is the best! And I PASSED

Negative experience: The first part of the school seemed ok except my daughter did not get a chance to do the practice driving on their computer because it wasn't working when she was attending the class. The part that has been beyond frustrating is the lack of opportunity for drive times. Times are uploaded to their website calendar at 4:30. I sit and refresh my compter for at least 10 minutes. When the times appear, they are either gone in an istant or I am able to select a time, then click next to register and the time is gone. The whole process takes literally less than 2 seconds. I have been trying to get times for 6 months and I have gotten 1 through the Wednesday drop and 2 through cancelations. That is out of at least 12-15 attempts (or more). My son attended the school a few years back and this was not a problem. I do not reccommend this school unless they can get several more instructors.

Fantastic experience: Amazing service. Paperwork took less than 10 minutes. I was a nervous wreck but Tester Mr. Howe made sure that I knew what I had to do. The test was quick and he told me everything I had made a mistake on and where to improve while driving. Passed my test with flying colors. I would recommend to anyone looking for a drivers test!

Negative experience: Pay attention to these notes!!! -classroom instruction is fine -taking your payment, no issue -they do give clear instruction for all processes from start to finish, no way you should not understand what you are getting into at the start, you just won't really understand it, until you are deep in the mud Here is where the fun begins: -frustration with drive time scheduling is as bad as all the other reviews, we took convenience over research, missed the red flags -the ratio of students / drive time slots / drive instructors is a HUGE RED FLAG -they can't keep up with demand for student and required times for completion, estimated 15-20 students per classroom average -you only have 1 second window to lock in a drive time slot, if you are not hitting refresh repeatedly or having having multiple family members simultaneously trying to login to help lock in a slot, you might get 1 slot per month base on averages. Dead serious it is only 1 second, almost immediately all slots are taken every Wednesday approx 4 to 430pm, posting is at 4:30 but never updates same exact moment each week, you have to sit on the computer and stand on the refresh button -do not even plan to get a slot that is not during school hours or any other important event you already have scheduled, you have to have the mindset, nothing else matters, pulling kids out of school, or moving other appointments is only way, non convenient sacrifices will have to be made, you have to eat that, you paid for it, depressing truth -its lawless free for all madness during scheduling, you almost have to pray that someone cancels and you can snatch up a cancelation, I can't even imaging the gut wrenching feeling of having to give up something you had to scratch and claw for in the first place, cancelations reboots get snatched in a blink also -drive slots are 1 hour driving + 1 hour observation -we have gotten only 2 drive times in 12 weeks with this lottery style system, we just got a third drive time, only to find out that the instructor may not give our student an 1 hour drive time and 1 hour observation because the other student scheduled at same slot only needs the a 1 hour drive time session -this struggle has been the constant standard since the beginning, instructors and staff are fine, but the price is not worth the hassle and headaches -I cant and will not recommend this place to anyone unless the process gets easier, I have two more potential students that I will enroll elsewhere than deal with this nonsense again. The Staff has always been professional with my family. We just are not fans of the drive schedule process. That has to get a lot better for us to send another student here. Scheduling forces sacrifices that not all families can make easily. Recommend researching all your options before locking up a spot here.

Negative experience: Do not go here! See the reviews they are so many negative reviews and the positive reviews are fake reviews they are using to keep their google reviews from being a 2* see the reviewers they either have one review ever posted or have other reviews all over the place (fake accounts) They take your money then have limited if any drive time available to book to complete the requirements. When it’s time to login to schedule a drive time for the next week for your child the drive times are booked for the entire week within a few minutes. They do not care here they are ripoff artists taking your money and not having enough drives for the amount of students. Look at all the google reviews with the same complaint.

Negative experience: My son just finished the class portion of drivers Ed, i was emailed that every Wednesday driving times (a week worth of times) would be released at 4:30. Last week i got on at 5:20 something( so, i understand i missed the times) I logged on today ( Wednesday) at 4:29 no slots times available, 4:30 no slots times available, 4:31-4:48 NO DRIVING TIMES AVAILABLE( well one popped up for Aug 19th) tried to schedule it and it said class full. I called and had to stay on hold to 14mins before I spoke with someone. The lady at the front desk finally answered, I started explaining to hear how i tried to log on starting at 4:29 “ma’am THE TIMES WERE AVAILABLE BECAUSE I WAS THE ONE WHO OPENED THEM UP” I admit I was frustrated so MY tone wasn’t theee best. I’ve paid this company over $400, she stated that the drive times were including in the price, I expressed my frustration that i couldn’t get my son NO drive time scheduled. She stated “you’ve only tried once and your son has 6mths to get his driving time in” I explained to her that I have other children in sports and I’m wanting to get his driving times done, regardless if i had 6mths or NOT! I suggested to her that they shouldn’t take anymore kids if they can’t KEEP up with the demands for drive times. So, we’re going back n forth. She proceeds to hang up the the phone in my face. I got in my car and drove up there. I walked in and ask if she waa management she said “no” i ask if I could speak with him or her she told me NO, i can not give you his number, so i ask could she call him or her so i can speak with them. She told me NO again. I told her that her customer service was HORRIBLE( she hasn’t been kind since the first day I met her actually) then she said I don’t want no one yelling at me for something I can’t control. I told her o apologize and she accepted it. Then i ask to speak with the manager again “ ma’am he’s teaching at the moment and you can just email this email address. I ask her for her name and she stated I’m not giving you my name. I truly DID NOT LIKE THE WAY I WAS TREATING BY HER! I did send a email, I’m waiting to hear back.

Negative experience: Paid $340 and unable to schedule. ALL Drive times are taken within 60 seconds of becoming available. Update. Another week - still no drive times available Update again - still no drive times. Here I am back again with the same problem. Still no drive times. We are at six months no and still haven’t completed 7 drives. Are you kidding me. This is ridiculous. Granted I’m not logging on every week at 4:30 BECAUSE I HAVE TO WORK TONOAY FOR THIS but when I do log on all the times are booked. Now it’s 5pm Wednesday and everything is full. I signed up for two lessons and there’s at another school and they have their entire calendar online and many many available appointments. This place is a joke and should not even be allowed to operate like this.

Fantastic experience: Just finished and passed the driving test today! Mr. Howe, who was my in-class teacher as well as my tester, is an amazing instructor. The whole process took less than 20 minutes for paperwork and the test. Two other wonderful instructors I got to have the opportunity of being guided by during my behind the wheel lessons were Ms. Brooke and Ms. Sheryl. Ms. Brooke is calm and makes the drive times feel very easygoing. Ms. Sheryl thoroughly explains important information and even draws it out for you which was extremely helpful.

Fantastic experience: Made getting my DL very easy. Classes were very straightforward and informative, driving with instructor scheduling was easy, and I loved every instructor I was with! (Especially Mrs.Cheryl) Couldn’t have been more prepared for my drivers test, and I passed on the first try.

Negative experience: If I could rate two different sections regarding our experience, I would give 5 stars for the classroom and paperwork preparation for receiving my child’s learners permit. I give Zero stars for the driving/observation section. In 6 months my child was only able to obtain 2 drive times. Yes! We logged in daily. Yes! We logged in Before 4:27 on Wednesdays. Disappointed each Wednesday, it almost became a game between multiple family members who would get the drive time first. I even got an eye roll when I told this to the Owner. So here we are at a new driving school and ALL drive times are scheduled and on the calendar!!!!! It’s that easy elsewhere? Wow! The stress we were put through at this company! To get told by the owner that we didn’t log in a certain week is the reason my child won’t finish all drive times in a year. Really? People go out of town. Also, we were told we didn’t start logging in to schedule a drive time as soon as he received his permit. Correct! I waited 2 months so my newly 15 year old could practice in a parking lot using the required parent log responsibilities. However, the owner made me feel like a horrible person for waiting. What you didn’t know is we lost a family member to a tragic car accident. So yes! I can wait 2 months to start logging in to ensure my child is ready to be behind a wheel comfortably prior to being watched by an instructor. No refund given on unused drive time. Supposedly according to your contract and Owner these are FREE after you pay $380! I have now paid double for drivers education in Texas! However, my child’s life is priceless. Having a tired instructor who told his paying customer he works “100” hours a week and can not guarantee all drive times can be completed in ONE year is absurd. I do not recommend using this company if you want to complete this process successfully.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about how amazing Mansfield Driving Academy is. The owners are such compassionate and caring people. I took my son's girlfriend here since she was homeless and they worked with us to get her her driver's license. The communication is top notch. I see a lot of reviews about drive times and yes it takes a lot to get drive times but you have to remember that, like everyone else, they are struggling to find employees. Patience is a virtue. These people are a blessing from God. We will be back when my youngest starts drivers ed.

Fantastic experience: This place offered verify efficient, reliable and affordable service. The patience they had was phenomenal. My son was able to schedule and take his driving test without any difficulty. They made sure we were aware of every step of the process. We were able to get his driver's license and know exactly what to expect at the DPS office. I highly recommend this driving academy for all ages.

Negative experience: Class time was grate I got my permit and now can't schedule a drive time even waiting till 4:30 I clicked a class and it registered asap it said it had it scheduled and when I go to look it's not there when trying to call I have to wait for 10 minutes on the phone for me to be told it's close at 4:45 when it opens at 4. Feel free to take classes her but don't waste you money expressly a teenager paying for it them selves on the drive times.

Fantastic experience: My au pair did a DPS adult driving test here and Mr. Mitchell walked us through every step. He made sure that the anxiety was calmed down before starting the test. And was straight about everything that would be tested. Overall our experience here was professional and prompt. My daughter will be testing soon for her drivers license and we will definitely come back to Mansfield driving academy for that!!

Negative experience: I have tried to schedule a driving schedule for my son and is impossible to get a driving time. If anyone is thinking of getting their driving license from this place. I recommend NOT !!! to go here. Is absolutely ridiculous. When I call for help their service was horrible their answer is to bad. Just keep trying to schedule a driving time.
