Negative experience: Man these people are rude on the phone.... Picked up the phone and just transferred me. You can't even get them to answer your questions. Nobody is available. I'm definitely going to look for a different cdl school in Atlanta. Not a good start

Everyone there, Director, Instructors, Recruiter, and even the students are absolutely amazing. It's literally impossible to get lost in the shuffle of things, or get left behind. Everyone makes sure you progress. It's literally everyone's mission to make sure that every student that comes through that door, in the end, leaves with a CDL. I went there with literally nothing but desperation to change my life. By the end, I gained a whole family, and the keys to a life I never thought I could have

Fantastic experience: I having nothing but positive things to say all around about Roadmaster Truck Drivers School. I first spoke with Jessica Peoples on October 9th to ask questions and due to her enthusiasm and efficiency, I was motivated and able to begin the very next Monday. Ms Bonnie got me financed and ready. I began my classes with Mr Kelly who did a fine job getting us prepared in just one week for our first test. You make great friends with fellow students and we always help each other out. Next we learned pre trip with Fidel who was thorough in teaching us every minute part of the inside and outside of the truck, including under the hood. Secondly, we undertook maneuvers in the trucks and due to the expertise of trainers, Belew, Jose and Paul, we felt at ease becoming skilled at each task. They were each extremely detail oriented and allowed me to ask as many questions as needed until I was comfortable enough to pass my evaluations. Jose took more time with me to iron out the kinks in my blind side parallel parking. Erica and Paul took us out on the roads and I learned invaluable gems from each of them. Sophia was great moral support and asked me what it was that I needed to overcome a problem I was having in executing my final maneuver. Then there’s the school manager, Shane, who makes every student feel welcomed and like they fit into the Roadmaster family environment. Roll call with him twice a day is always fun! I could write a whole book on each of these guys but I will conclude with these words: You will not be disappointed by Roadmaster!!! I’m so thankful they chose me!

Fantastic experience: I have a great time attending this school my last 4 week was filled with joy and great memories I meet some awesome people the training was really helpful things that I didn't know about I have knowledge of now the staff was respectful and friendly feel like u at home great work guys keep up the good work!

Fantastic experience: Omg this was the besssst experience I could ever have in my life. Let me start with Shane who was very understanding, loving and caring, oh and I must not forget funny. He made this experience the best experience. Always made me feel confident in myself. He made me feel like we were family… Next I want to thanks Melvin for making me feel comfortable while taking my state test. He a straight forward person don’t get me wrong and he will not pass you unless you know what your doing. But he’s a great person and he’s a blessing to come across. Also want to thank BLUE omg if it wasn’t for him teaching me how to parallel park. Most definitely how to fix myself if I have position myself the wrong way.. How to correct my mistake.. He believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Kelly was soo great he made sure we studied and did everything right by the book.. He taught me so much within a week of being in class.. thanks so much Kelly. he was great.. Fidel, omg if it wasn’t for him teaching me pre trip and staying on me about studying I wouldn’t be here today to say that I have passed my CDL test.. José was a great teacher as well. Yessssssss he made life easy when you’re out there learning those maneuvers.. I love you guys and I want to thank all of you for all the love you guys gave me.. I’m going to miss you guys so much because you guys are part of me now. Thanks for putting a smile on my face when I come in and really had nothing to smile about. Fantastic experience: Where do I start: first and foremost I want to thank Roadmaster for successfully helping me achieve my CDL in 5 short weeks, it was a very seamless journey. It all started with a call to Chi People, I thank her dearly for her assistance with enrolling from jump. Shane is a 5 ⭐️ school manager with a 5 ⭐️ supporting cast. When I first got to ROADMASTER I was Semi-Truck illiterate, now I feel like a Semi-Truck master lol Mr Kelly, will to help you get the basics with his continued patience, I have to salute him dearly. 5 ⭐️ starts here lol I gotta give a special shout out to my guy Blue #spellcheck, he is the maneuver KING. It’s not a turn, or park I can’t make after being taught how to drive those trucks by him. You wanna know how to maneuver that truck, get with Blue he’s definitely 5 ⭐️ Jose, another 5 ⭐️ trainer who will have you Pre-Tripping your truck like none other. My guy is very assertive, patient and supportive. You wanna know if something is wrong with your truck, have Jose teach you. Erica & Fiddell, 5 ⭐️ for both, You could write a book about these 2. This is as top tier as it gets for all around well rounded teaching, training and support. They both make sure they grow closer with the students by personalizing your experience, understanding your needs, worries, concerns, and make sure they don’t leave your side until you are better off than you were before talking to them. Jason is great as well, 5 ⭐️ far as what other students tell me. Unfortunately I didn’t get to work with him, but hear nothing but great things. 5 ⭐️ Melvin, he was my trainer when I went driving on the road. He is very assertive. His goal is to make sure you pass the road portion of your test. That indeed I did. If you want to be great and safe on the road, I can assure you Melvin will get you there. And lastly, Zacarra, my examiner, she is very polite, kind, and all about taking care of DDS business to make sure everything adds up before she says you are a great candidate for Semi-Truck safety and driving. 5 ⭐️ for her and thank you so much. Now I can’t give all that praise without saying something negative lmao. If I could change anything about ROADMASTER it would be that hill on that parking lot. Any trainer who knows me knows I hate the hill. It adds a different dynamic but will ultimately make you a better Semi Truck parker in the real world. And last but not least, a cafeteria or free meals or something. We needed food, get us free pizza on Fridays or something. Fantastic experience: Shane is a real good person give him a chance. The school and the staff their are good with me. We laughed and joke at Roadmaster but we still took care of business up there. I would do it again with class #26 and #27. I haven't had that much fun in a long time. Shane, Erica, Blewe and Jose y'all will be missed.

Positive experience: As a current student at the Lithia Springs, GA location. I will sat this. The instructors and school managers amazing couldn't ask for a better bunch. There ability to teach at all paces to accommodate everyone's learning abilities are superb. So the 3 stars go to them. Now to the negative. The accommodation of the school for students that need housing are by far the worst I've ever seen. It's is strictly about money. They will house you in a roach motel with a roommate while being over priced. I called and gave concerned with the issue and felt we should be better accommodated seeing as tho the money we are paying is pretty steep. I was met with attitude and spoken to in a rudely manner. By a woman named Tonya. I stressed my concerns and she rudely just asked me do you wanna check out. A school making as much money as they do you would think they would accommodate the student as well as the other schools do, but that's definitely not the case. So I can honestly say if it wasn't for the instructors this school wouldn't be worth it. Because the company cares nothing for there students just the money they receive.

Fantastic experience: RoadMasters/Werner I would recommend them as your educational provider when it comes to learning how to operate an 18 wheeler and the overall knowledge of the truck! The instructors were patient and very informative. Always know that no matter where you go there will always be obstacles but remember you get out what you put in! RoadMaster will help you get the job done as long as you show up and show that you are ready to accomplish the ultimate task. Many reviews that I’ve read before attending the school that was not in good interest of the program are completely debunked by my experience!

Negative experience: Don't go to the Roadmaster in Lithia Springs. That school is not it. It's a lot of favoritism going on up there. I recommend u find another school to get your CDL at.

Negative experience: Trust the bad reviews. Only come here if you have no responsibilities or bills because it’s gonna be a long process. This place is money hungry & is full of students that keep failing because they accept so many new students & don’t have enough instructors.. when you finish the training, be prepared to sit and wait weeks to be able to take your test because there is so many people retesting that get scheduled before you. Unprofessional, completely unorganized, & i would never recommend this driving school to anyone.

Fantastic experience: At the time I attended Road master my life felt like it was out of control - I lost my mother due to gun violence amongst other personal issues I dealt with while trying to focus on obtaining my CDL - it wasnt easy but i did it - i graduated and moved on to driving solo otr for a few different companies - Now today I'm proud to say I am a owner operator running my own trucking business with two semi trucks and three cargo vans and still growing my fleet -JVWallaceLogists - Without the instructors here being patient with me and allowing me to get my life together i probably wouldn't be where i am now - I just want to say thank you all for putting up with me as long as you did and helping me learn the skills I needed to become a true truck driver.

Negative experience: Good morning, everyone. I am a current student at Roadmaster Drivers School. And I have a written two reviews about this company. The first was a week ago under the name Fiori Inc. The second was earlier this morning under LeAndre Fiori. Please examine the first two so that you can understand why I am writing this third one. I went into school this morning. And, right after roll call, I was summoned into Shane’s (managers) office. And he tried to get me to sign a document that stated I only had a few more times to pass a test (something to that nature). I told him that I was not going to sign it because I didn’t feel comfortable signing it, especially with the tension surrounding me and the school. He then gave me a number to a Hannah Ramirez (I was told that she was corporate) and was instructed to give her a call. I left my phone at home. Therefore, I had to use a phone or another student to make the call. I got a voicemail. So I left a message stating that my attorney would be contacting them on Monday to try and resolve this. And, I stated that, either they were going to train me properly or take care of my loan. Well, after our first break, 10:30 AM, this morning, August 4, 2023. I was again summoned into Shane’s office. When I got there, he was speaking with the student whose phone I used earlier (to call Mrs. Ramirez) and her boyfriend. Coincidence? Maybe. When I went into the office, this time, he (Shane) gave me an ultimatum. He told me that either I sign a piece of paper that I did not agree with, or understood, or I had to leave. Therefore, I had him clock me out, and I left. Isn’t this America? Don’t I have the right to choose not to sign something that I don’t agree with, without repercussions? When I got to the car, I immediately left word for my attorney. Here’s the funny thing. When I called the student whose phone I used earlier, she said that Shane had brought her and her boyfriend in to discuss me, actually inciting them against me. I appreciate her a lot. Because she was very nervous about telling me this, seeing that she was just allowed back into school, after they tried to kick her out, but couldn’t get away with it. I paid this school to teach me how to drive trucks. I’m not signing something that says I only have a few more tries and then you kick me out. I mean who would? No one at the school told me this was the norm upfront. And I definitely won’t sign something like that when overcrowding, lack of instructors, insufficient training, and favoritism has played a part in me not being ready at 180 hours. If they no longer want me at the school, because I’m making noise, COOL. Take care of my loan, and I will walk away, no hard feelings whatsoever.

Negative experience: 7/25/2023 I’m currently a student at Roadmaster Drivers School in Lithia Springs Ga. And, because I’m loving being in school, learning something new, I’ll start with the good before I get into the bad. I think that the office staff are extremely professional and kind. Also, the instructors are very knowledgeable. But that’s where the good ends. To me it seems as though certain people are setup to fail from the start. I personally don’t know of anyone who has taken the actual state CDL test and passed the first time. As a matter of fact, several people came back today saying that they failed. I believe that the reason for so many failures is because Roadmaster values quantity over quality. Every week there’s a new class of 8 to 12 people. I’m class 27. We are presently on class 30. And there are students that I know from class 23 who are still here. And, I actually met a student today who says he’s from class 21. It’s obvious that the students who are failing are not properly prepared. Please note, that I can’t put all blame on the instructors. Because with so many students from previous classes still here, because they can’t pass the test, and new classes coming in every week, it’s hard to give each student the personal attention he/she may need. And, with so many students, limited instructors, you get very little drive time. Today, after lunch (1PM), we had two hours before our next break (3PM). There weren’t many of us in who were about to practice offset maneuvers. However, people who recently failed the test/older students from previous classes were let in before us. Our original lineup didn’t start until after the break. This makes it likely that our class won’t be graduating on time. I was told that this was an accelerated course, 5-6 weeks, 180 hours. This is week 4 for me. And I’m at 125 hours. There’s no way that I’m going to be ready to graduate on time. And, even if I were, I would have to wait. Because it seems as though the previous classes have seniority (no disrespect to any of my classmates). I took out a loan to cover my bills so that I could attend Roadmaster, thinking that what I was told would be honored. And, because it seems like I’m not going to graduate on time, I’m having to take out another small loan to cover my bills to get me through school. However, if I can’t get another loan. I’m going to have to drop out and start back working. Because bills don’t stop. If that happens. I will have no other choice but to seek counsel about the loan I took out for school. Because I don’t feel like I should be held accountable when I wasn’t told of any back up that would delay my schooling, that I would be standing 8 hours a day in the scorching sun to maybe get a 4 minute turn in the truck, on a couple of maneuvers per day. At this rate, I won’t be ready to take my test until mid to late September, if I’m lucky. Because I am not going to test until I think that I am ready. Because lives are at stake. This is a 80,000 pound vehicle. And I refuse to be the cause of injury to myself or anyone else. From what I understand from other students who came before me, once you get your 180 hours, the school picks when you take your evaluation/state test, ready or not. If this happens to me. I am going to be sure to let them know that I’m not ready. And, it’s going to take a minute because of the lack of truck time/teaching methods. I learn the old fashioned way, give me the ABC’s of a problem. Teach me to count to 10 and then break things down more… 1+1=2… 2+2=4, etc. Don’t bark out directions and expect me to just figure things out. Today, August 4, 2023, in retaliation, I was given an ultimatum. I could sign a piece of paper that I did not agree with, or understood, or I had to leave Roadmaster premises. Isn’t this America? Don’t I have the right to refuse to sign something, if I feel that it is not in my best interest, if I feel that it violates my rights? I will not sign my rights away to anyone, let alone in Roadmaster.

Fantastic experience: Roadmaster gave me the skills and confidence to operate and maintain the tractor and trailer in a safe and efficient manner. The Dunn, NC, training facility is the best place to train in North Carolina without a doubt. I couldn't have asked for a better team to help me obtain my CDL-A. God Bless this team!

Fantastic experience: Hi everyone! If your considering getting your CDL with Roadmaster please read: This is a great school! Everyone is very helpful and they give you every tool you need to succeed you really just have to work hard and try your best to apply it until you succeed! I just got my CDL yesterday and if I can do it anyone can get their CDL, HOWEVER.. you have to work for it!!! It’s gonna take long days as you can’t miss days or be late, but work hard and I promise you it’s gonna be worth it! I definitely recommend taking good detailed notes for pre-trip, get good notes for every maneuver that will help you remember how you can get your truck in the box and also KNOW HOW TO FIX ANY ERRORS YOU RUN INTO! This is very important and I promise it will help you when you test out of school and it’ll help you on your CDL test! REMEMBER: It’s gonna be a difficult journey but if it were easy everyone would do it! Just keep your faith and keep fighting till you walk out of the school with your CDL!!! - Goodluck everyone! Negative experience: Service is horrible. I paid damn near 7k just to learn how to drive a truck on my own. I was only getting one try per day for each maneuver because it was so many people. Roadmaster was trying to get as much money as they can by accepting anybody that came thru their door. After getting my cdl, I met a lot of students from chattahoochee college and other driving Schools that paid $3500 for truck driving school that offers the same service Roadmaster offer. Road master is Hustling people out here.

Negative experience: For starter I would like to say some of the employees are awesome and some are very harsh. They don't pay for anything but your hotel room so even if you are away from home, if there is anything else you may need you would have to get it yourself. I want my cdl's so bad that I drove hours away from home just for them to leave me stranded outside in the heat because I was there but went in the building 8mins late (IG I should've went in for roll call then came back out) due to me handling business on the phone so I could continue to be there a month straight and be able to make a living there until I graduate. I went up there off faith and confidence with rarely nothing. So that only told me that they obviously don't care that much about their students. They told me that I would have to start all the way over after I talk to my admissioner which was completely fine with me. I waited until that Sunday just for her to tell me the school said that they are no longer accepting me because of it but they are also the ones that told me to call her for re enrollment so basically they wasted my time, again. All I can say is I should've listened to the reviews on this company and chose to go elsewhere. I'm still determined to go and this definitely motivated me more. What makes me so mad is once he dropped me he was highly rude about the situation and it was uncalled for. You live and you learn. Other than that the environment of students was decent. It really sucks because I had also been up all night studying for nothing at all.

Negative experience: I was kicked out due to car issues and being sick I got to the last of my hours of being at school and was told I couldn’t come back, they talk about how much they help but they don’t they take on more students than they can handle sometimes I don’t even get to do maneuvers I’m just watching everyone else, I was robbed of my time there and I only had 20hrs left to finish and they wouldn’t let me come back because the managers wanted to be petty.

Positive experience: I started without a CDL and I received a CDL when I finished. I had a good overall experience. The process did take several weeks longer than I had expected and planned for, a couple more instructors would have made the process move a little quicker and smoother. All of the instructors that are there are outstanding and are always willing to go out of their way to help.

Positive experience: To be honest…. I had a great experience at road master, met some great people there that want to Achieve one goal and we push our self everyday to Encourage each other big up (Blue , mark , bamba, and Shane,!!!! The only Issue I had with the school they take a new group every week and it was too over Crowded and you Probably get 2 or 3 Rep a day for 8 hours , just go in stay focus and you’ll come out Victorious .

Negative experience: Sent my brother to this school he still haven’t tested out. They over book themselves & don’t have enough trainers to test you out. They only test 4 people a day & he still haven’t tested out and it’s going on three weeks pass his test day. Everyday you have a new instructor teaching you something different everyday.

Fantastic experience: I would like to say that I had a great time here. Come in with an open mind and not over think anything. Trust yourself and the instructors in what they have to give you. Tons of experience and laughter if you're open to learning. In the beginning it will seem challenging, but dont let it overwhelm you. Speak with any instructor if you're not grasping any of what's being taught to you. From the classroom, with E, to your first week of Pre-trip with Bama, all the way til the day Shane says waiting to test and graduate. Make the best of your time. I guarantee that you will pick something up from every instructor that you come into contact with. George, Tony, and Ernest are great on the roads, Sam as well. On the pad get with Belew, Kelly Big O, Stacy, Marc and Tonya. They all have great knowledge and trucking experience to share with you. It's not going to be hard, just believe in yourself and get your CDL. I would do it all again. This was a great place to school at. CLASS 44

Fantastic experience: You have students fail pretrip and don't know how to listen or stays in their own groups. Or be own their phones. When they're clearly told to stay off. Grown people playing like kids. You also have students that have time out because of it. Do your own research. Don't be fool.

Negative experience: I appreciate instructor belew,kelly,ernest ,Stacy and shene maybe I spell their name but they are the best other I don’t want mention their name nobody controlled them they enjoy with the truck they don’t do what they supposed to do the management is very weak ,they just rubbing people with out anything, every Monday they accept a lot of students they don’t teach well because of they don’t have enough instructor the make you lineup and maybe if you are lucky you will be on truck 2 ways with in 8.30 hours it is so wired I have bad experience, please don’t go this school if you decide to go you must have experience how to drive a truck this school is not a school it’s just to get a license of CDL

The amount of patience everyone at ROADMASTER has goes above and beyond the call of duty. They willingness to see everyone success and accomplish goals speaks volumes. Negative experience: I been trying to get information about when I will start and no one really gives it to me I have to call back over and over again to get simple communication.

Negative experience: This school is horrible I was told I would be able to start class and when I go on the day stated I was told I was not the list to start class and as of 07/23/21 I still don't have a spot for class and I applied on 06/10/21 I ask to speak to the manager and I never received a phone call nor a email response to my problem I would not recommend this school to anyone please chose wisely.

Negative experience: They will stole your money it’s happened to me I will pay 7 thousand for nothing I didn’t get my license with them they didn’t tell me if you filed at the maneuver in school 4 times we will drop you off and that’s their problem because they didn’t enough instructors to teach you and your are not ready and they push you to take the test at the school evaly so I advise anyone to know everything before take the chance to be in this school it’s bad experience with them and I’m not gonna forget it we learn from our mistakes in this life and this is one of them

Positive experience: I love Roadmaster very good school…Only thing I don’t like is their hotel they have contract with…Nuff respect to Mr Troy he will never stop until you get it VERY good instructor,Miss Auvi works very hard I must commend her she is very good at her job…But most of all Miss Carmelita even when it seems hopeless she turns it into Hope…I would recommend anyone who is interested in getting their CDL Roadmaster is the school for you…

Positive experience: I would recommend getting your permit before attending this school because that’s what you’re gonna be doing your first week , so if you have it then you’ll be a little ahead of your class , be prepared to be there for about 5 weeks , there’s a lack of instructors and every week they accept new students so it tends to get a little overcrowded at times , the school is great though, if you apply yourself and take your time here serious , you will 100 % get your CDL , the instructors that they do have are very knowledgeable with years of experience, the manager is pretty cool but he runs the school like it’s military boot camp so punctuality is important , be there on time or else you’ll get dropped and if you’re not happy with anything and you feel like you’re not getting the attention you need , make sure you speak up I had to speak up myself because at the end of the day you’re paying to get trained and closed mouths don’t get fed.

Fantastic experience: I can say this was the best decision I made coming to roadmasters. Since day one I saw that it was a good school and the instructors were real helpful. Every step that you have to learn in school they make sure really get it. They answer every question u ask and make sure you understand before moving on. So your never left behind so all the staff and instructors are great i would come back to this school if I had to do it all over againg. And the best thing i met people and made sum new friends.

Positive experience: Everything was good! Would have been better with more instructors but if you listen and understand the concept of the maneuvers you will get through with no problem! Staff is very helpful and want you to get your cdl! I'm glad I came here and got my Cdl training now i have many different job offers and am ready to start my career!!! Always remember bend don't break and you will get through!!! Nothing is going to be given to you! You have to work for it!!!

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed my experience in Lithia Springs, Ga. My classmates were awesome left here with 10 new trucking brothers and sisters. The instructors are awesome Belew and Shane are the best! But... George is really going to get you right on that road. The school Manager Phil goes above and beyond to assist with whatever needs you have pertaining to the program. If you interested I definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Lack of instructors; too many students. First week we received very little instruction. I was left by myself with a couple other new students to learn pre-trip because I was ahead of the class and already had my permit. If I asked a question the pretrip instructor said she would explain everything the following Monday?!? There were over 50 students with 1 pre-trip instructor (who was evaluating old students), 2 instructors teaching maneuvers and 1 instructors on road trips. That’s insane! Students on maneuvers were getting about 15 minutes a day per student to learn how to park a 18 wheeler. Some students didn’t get any time 1 day. They told those students to watch the other students learn to park , listen and learn from that.. What?!. You also need seat time and RoadMaster is not giving any. The gentleman over the school seem overwhelmed and is attempting to deal with the lack of instructors (I guess), but this school keeps accepting students but they do not have the man power to teach WELL over 50 students at once. It’s crazy. After the 1st week I reached out to Phil Hazard about my concerns and that I was considering not coming back, and he never got back to me. Very very unorganized and no one is on the same page. It would seem that RoadMaster only want money. At $7,000-$10,000 a student (which is very much so over charging) trust me, you can find better for half the price elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I didnt actually attend this school because I wanted to get a manual transmission CDL and they only offer automatic transmission CDLs but i had a great experience working with Jessica Peoples in admissions while i considered my options.

Fantastic experience: Road Master has granted me a wonderful experience with a wealth of knowledge attention to detail and care in everything they do. Given the opportunity I would take the course all over again I don't think I have ever had a greater experience in school.
