Fantastic experience: 911 Driving School Goose Creek was amazing for our new driver. Deputy Carter and Henry were the best instructors, not only preparing our driver for the road test but preparing them to be the best driver they could be. Deputy Carter and Instructor Henry made sure our driver felt comfortable in all types of driving situations and reminded them they will continue to learn once they passed their test. The website was very easy to use when scheduling drive time and the road test.

Fantastic experience: I don’t usually post something, but I really want to express how happy I am that I chose this place for my son to do his driving lessons. From the people who were answering the phone when ever I have questions, were very nice and helpful. To Deputy Carter, you are really the best!!! Fantastic experience: Amazing. My daughter went through a severe medical crisis when she was in the middle of her driving class. Deputy Carter was amazing took control of the situation, called us, and we met him at the hospital. Due to her medical crisis, driving classes had to placed on hold until further notice. It took us longer than what we intended for her to get her DL but she got them in July of 2023. They were amazing and worked with us every step of the way. Deputy Carter stayed in touched and occasionally would text to see where we were on the medical side of things.

Fantastic experience: Deputy Carter was a great instructor. While driving he did a great job helping me not to repeat common pit falls. A lot of great information was given while in the classroom setting. While doing my drives with Deputy Carter I knew I was in good hands, and my safety would not be compromised. When I pass the road test with 911 driving school that felt like one of the most accomplishing moments of my life.

When we signed up I was hoping that Deputy Carter was still instructing and we are beyond happy to have had him again. I have one more child that will need driving instruction in a couple of years and hoping he will be around then too. Fantastic experience: My experience with Deputy Carter has been phenomenal. He is a patient, compassionate, yet firm teacher who makes sure that you get the most out of your sessions and that you feel comfortable behind the wheel, no matter your age or experience. I had taken a few lessons with him in the past, but was unable to continue at the time due to the pandemic and my personal situation. When I resumed lessons with Deputy Carter, not only did I get my license after just a few sessions, but he went above and beyond by picking me up directly from my home and dropping me off twice when I had no other form of transportation! After two practice sessions including a mock road test, I took the official road test with him a couple days later and passed on my first try! For reference, I had not once driven in three years and only had minimal driving experience with a permit! I feel so much more confident in my driving now, and I'm excited to put my newly gained skills to the test as I practice driving on my own on a regular basis. I highly recommend Deputy Carter and choosing 911 Driving School. You won't regret it! My only regret is not being able to give a 10 star rating!

Fantastic experience: Dads, Listen up. Got a kid whose ready to take the wheel? You made sure they got the best coaches for Football and played on the best teams for Soccer. Well dont miss the mark here and choose the wrong driving coach. Go see Deputy Carter at the GC location. He will prepare your child for the battle zone of life behind the wheel. I am so impressed by what he taught my daughter Grace and what I learned through the process. I had no fear the day she got her license and struck out by herself for the first time after seeing what Deputy Carter taught her. Yes I said Deputy twice. These instructors are off Duty Police. They have seen it all and know how get the best out of our kids. Also make sure you opt in for having them perform the final driving test it saved us so much time dealing with the DMV and we got it done way sooner than we could have otherwise. SO moral to the story get Deputy Carter to train your kid. You will never regret it.

Fantastic experience: My family's experiences with 911 Driving School have been top-notch. All of the instructors we encountered were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. Deputy Carter is especially instrumental to the success of the students. Together, we were able to make the informed decision that my son should not drive (he had an undiagnosed medical condition at the time). When we returned a few years later with my daughter, Deputy Carter was kind (but firm!) and encouraging to her - calming her anxiety and giving her the confidence to pass her driving test! Knowing that my teen driver received current and personalized instruction taught by law enforcement reassures me that she is thoroughly prepared to drive on today's roads. Fantastic experience: I just recently finished my time with 911 Driving School in Goose Creek. Now although I did put in the work to pass the road test and get my diver’s license. I have to give credit to Deputy Charles Carter because if it wasn’t for him I don’t believe I would have had the confidence in myself to pass the road test. I didn’t have any interactions with anyone other than Deputy Carter, but if everyone associated with this company has half of his work ethic, then you are sure to get your money’s worth. Now I must warn you that Deputy Carter is very strict, and thorough, and will not hold back his criticisms of your skills, but he will ensure that you get better the more time you spend under his instruction. He was also very accommodating to my hectic schedule. he is truly one of a kind and if there is a chance that you can learn from him you definitely should.

Fantastic experience: My son recently completed his training with Deputy Carter. I taught our oldest two children to drive without issue, but my son and I were not able to get on the same page with driver training. We signed him up for the school and it helped tremendously. I do not like using services that I believe I can do myself so I did not expect much to come from the program, but I am happy to report that this training taught my son the proper way to do things. Deputy Carter did a great job in communicating to my son what he needed to do and was straight with us about what was worked on and what was coming naturally versus what was not. He also clearly communicated where he thought our son was at with experience. Deputy Carter emphasized safe vehicle operation while reinforcing DMV testing skills. It was a positive experience for all of us and wee will be using 911's services again when our youngest child begins to drive in about a year. Hopefully, Deputy Carter will still be available to conduct her training as well.

She learned so much from the class and 3 driving sessions. She also took the road test with 911 and passed on the first try. Being able to schedule the driving test to fit our busy schedules was priceless! The rest of our children will be learning to drive with 911 driving school when their time comes!!

Fantastic experience: Very helpful. Flexible training especially for young students who may be occupied with school and work. I failed my first test without any training. I came back and took a class with Deputy Carter, he went over my strengths and weaknesses and gave me multiple ways to learn. I also received a study guide to read over since I didn’t have a car to practice with. The service was outstanding, Deputy Carter even went above and beyond driving me back home after the training and the test since he knew I didn’t have a car.

Fantastic experience: Very effective lessons, each instructor is extremely knowledgeable in road safety. Charles Carter specifically does a great job at getting across how to go about doing something and let's you know when you make mistakes and how to avoid repeating them. He can be stern, as he should be, but you can tell it's out of caution and concern for the driver and making sure you're ready for the real world, not just what's on the road test.

Fantastic experience: This is my second time using 911 Driving School and I am so glad I did. My oldest son (now 26) learned through 911 Driving School years ago. I have 3 daughters who went through another course (Cruise Control) because 911 was not in our area at the time. When I saw that classes were in the Goose Creek area, I jumped on the opportunity for them to teach my youngest son. 911 Driving School emphasizes safety as they teach (more so than I saw with the other company). All the instructors were great but I LOVED Deputy Carter. He truly cares for his students and wishes only the best for them. Working with Deputy Carter was a wonderful experience. Officer Terrell was a pro my son said that officer Terrell was very patient with him and never raise his voice and always willing to say good job when it was a good job. Deputy Carter was on point every session 911 get a 5 star from me, if there was a 8 star they would get that also.

I learned to drive a little later in life than most people do, including most of the students he teaches but nonetheless he was able to help me gain the confidence I needed to be able to get behind the wheel and be the safest driver possible. He emphasis safety as the main priority, and to follow the rules of the road and how they were meant to be. He worked 25 years in law enforcement and has a ton of experience behind the wheel. I highly recommend Deputy Carter as your instructor as he will teach you things that many drivers including even our own parents/family members who have had their drivers license for decades don't know about or even care to follow when driving. Fantastic experience: Deputy Carter did a great job at quickly converting my basic driving skills taught by friends into reliable procedure-driven safe driving skills & ability. During each class, I would receive constructive criticism on the road and after the road on informative paperwork to take home & utilize. We also did mock road tests which are on similar roads to the actual test. Due to all of this and more. I had a fairly good idea of where I was with my safe driving skills. As result, I felt a lot more confident about passing the test and my overall safety on the road.

I had wonderful experience with Mr. Carter even though I had zero experience of driving! He was supporting me in all meaning. The way he trains I loved, he explained the formulas of the maneuvers like math, so you can easily catch, trained the same things in the same order every day, so you can keep it in ur mind forever. He's like a psychologist, knows to chose the tone of his voice, so while you're driving nervous and panicking you will calm down. Fantastic experience: I simply have nothing but great things to say about 911 driving school! There is a lot of options for driving schools in this area and needing to get my license I called all of them but just from the phone calls and presentations of each school it was easy to tell 911 was the best option. The class is done in a really nice building and was packed full of students and the teacher was really passionate about teaching the material. And, then the actual road lessons with Deputy Carter himself were just priceless. He not only taught me how to nail the DMV skill tests every time but went above and beyond teaching me the law, safety tips, and useful skills that I need to know when on the road. I've already recommended this school to people who I know are looking to get their license and will continue to do so because my experience with them was nothing short of 5-star service. Fantastic experience: Deputy Carter is an amazing teacher. He is very explainable: he keeps things on layman's terms. Not only does he teach the fundamentals of a vehicle, he teaches safety as well; thus, creating drivers that abide by the law. Fantastic experience: It was an experience that I can’t explain. You should definitely practice outside of the 2 hour lessons. However, my mom works all the time so I had very little time to practice outside of the class, & I still passed with an 88 because of how intensive Officer Carter’s training is. He’s the best teacher and he even gives you his cell so you can contact him anytime and ask questions and schedule your test etc. They even offer pick up and drop off sometimes if parents aren’t able to get there because of their schedules.

Negative experience: Horrible HORRIBLE experience . My parents thought it was a good idea , to enroll me in this driving school . Not even realizing that police officers make me nervous . I tried to learn from these people , but I didn’t have a good experience. It didn’t help my father never allowed me to drive his car in between lessons and I never went back after I was basically in tears after each lesson . If you have a fear of authority figures, I don’t suggest going to this driving school . The people were friendly , but their manner of teaching was blunt , and direct . I went to the location in goose creek over 10 years ago , but STRONGLY don’t recommend this driving school , they are just out to get money from you.

Fantastic experience: Deputy Charles Carter did such an incredible job with my stepson that we chose to use him a second time when it came to my stepdaughter. He does an incredible job of getting across the training. He also got both of these young folks motivated, enthusiastic, and pumped up about driving. On a personal note, during training my stepdaughter drove past the business that my stepson is now an assistant manager of. After my stepdaughter passed her test, Deputy Carter went out of his way to stop in the business and speak to my stepson, his former student. He informed him that his sister had passed and told him that she had done incredibly well. He also told him that he was proud of him and to keep doing great things. This went a long way with those kids. He didn’t have to do that but he did. Our young people need more folks like him

We were fortunate enough to have Deputy Charles Carter as an instructor and tester for our teenage son who is still in high school. Deputy Carter was very straightforward and to the point when answering any questions and concerns we had. He took our son under his wing and guided him through the whole process. He was professional, patient, polite, and very knowledgeable on how to work with teens. My son would tell us how much he liked the classes and the instructor. We are so happy that we decided to go with this driving school instead of signing him up with the high school driving course like we did with our daughter 2 years ago. We also liked the fact that they sent out reminders with dates, times and instructions for each class. When ever we had a question or needed assistance with anything we would contact their office and Karissa who answers the phones and responds to emails would always get back to us in a timely manner with an answer or solution. Fantastic experience: Deputy Carter taught my daughter very well and made sure she was prepared for the road. He really helped her develop confidence behind the wheel and taught her how to be safe. We will choose this school and Deputy Carter again when it’s time for my son to learn how to drive.

He always told her exactly what they were going to do and what she needed to practice. That alleviated a lot of her nerves (and mine! Fantastic experience: This was a amazing driving school. Deputy Carter was an awesome instructor for my daughter. He made sure she was comfortable, he took the time with her and was patient. Any good instructor will get on their student and that’s what he did she loved him dearly as her instructor. We are so exited to have been blessed do sign up for the driving school and get blessed with a nice working instructor. I recommend this driving school if any. The price may be high but it is worth it.

Fantastic experience: 911 Driving school has served our 2 kids well. It was convenient to be able to test with the drivers and just take paperwork to DMV for final license. We had to go to Goose Creek to get appts since Mt P was always booked. Glad we did because we got to meet Deputy Carter and Mr. Schlein Deputy Carter was AWESOME. He is a knowledgeable gentlemen who handles new drivers well and we appreciate his honesty and communication. He definitely helped our son tremendously. No more kids left to send (thank goodness) but highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Deputy Carter was my daughter's driving instructor and we can't say enough positive things about our experience with him! This is my fourth child to go through the program with 911 Driving School, but my first time having Deputy Carter as my child's instructor. The ultimate goal may have been to get her to the point of being able to pass her road test, but there was never any doubt that learning to operate a vehicle safely was the top priority. I appreciated him taking the time to speak to both of us both before and after each lesson, but what I like most about Deputy Carter's teaching style is that he shares his knowledge with encouragement rather than intimidation. Fantastic experience: I don't even know where to start! I can't recommend this enough. I am a student who was taught by Deputy Carter, and going into my first lesson I was nervous and had next to no real experience and by the time of my road test I felt much, much more confident! I felt like there was an emphasis in the lessons on developing safe driving habits, especially those related to awareness of your environment. Also Deputy Carter was very encouraging during the drives but was quick to correct you when you made a mistake. I personally believe this was very advantageous in helping me break my previous unsafe driving habits. Again, I cannot recommend this school enough!

Fantastic experience: Master Deputy Carter is top-notch. He is firm and stern, but not intimidating and had an easy rapport with my daughter, making her practice and testing sessions enjoyable. He was wonderful with my teenager - knowing how to build her confidence, yet at the same time keeping it real and stressing the seriousness of getting behind a wheel and driving.

Fantastic experience: This is our second time using 911 Driving School, and we couldn’t be happier. Deputy Carter was our instructor again. He is really concerned for the students overall driving abilities, not just passing the test. He is very communicative about what needs to be practiced, and as a parent I have learned something new from him just in our conversations. I highly recommend them. I believe the law enforcement officers here are truly trying to train GOOD drivers, not just drivers.
