Negative experience: Hi signed up for the Truck job School $4500. I have to get my DOT permit once I got my Dot I send them an email never response. They said to talk to the manager let them invoice with their response. I told them just say we could check back. They scam me for $4500. Please be careful with this company..

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience from start to finish .Everyone was professional and very helpful with any questions or concerns I had . They were quick to get the whole process started and get me licensed within 2 months . I will recommend this school to any friends or family looking to get there cdl. If I had the chance to start over I would pick America Truck Driving School Again.

I fully recommend for anyone out there trying to get there license this is the place to come and get trainned and prepared for your dmv test. The only thing you need is to have discipline and take the training serious becasue that will depend if you pass your test given at the dmv. I wanna thank every teacher or instructor here that taught me every detail behind the wheel and there patience so i could get a 100 percent in all my testing. Fantastic experience: Quite an experience for someone like me who's never driven a rig before. If your're thinking about getting your CDL then this is the place to go. Don't let inexperience stop or slow you down. Listen to what the instructors tell you and you'll have no problem passing the DMV exam. I got both my permit and Class A on the first try by using the materials they gave me and the instructions that were given. The hours of instruction were perfect and the staff will accommodate with a schedule that works for you. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Great school to get your CDL. The instructors are understanding and not over bearing. You get plenty of seat time once you hit the yard ( on your second class). The classes are taught by real licensed drivers. Many of whom drove for many years. The office staff is super helpful and efficiently works with your scheduling needs as much as possible. They even offer support to get you working. I earned my CDL and endorsements with their help and would recommend them to anyone who is pursuing a career in trucking.

Fantastic experience: I made the right choice. I came to ATDS for its 2 students to 1 teacher ratio. They have flexible schedules. They provide all the information to make sure I passed. The instructors are knowledgeable and have patience while you learn to drive. The office staff is always helpful and answered all my questions. That being said, school is school. You get out of it what you put in to it and they provide a great platform so you can achieve your goal. They went beyond my expectations to introduce me to the Trucking Industry.

Fantastic experience: Starting this course with no prior experience was very nerve racking but orientation broke the course down perfectly and I knew exactly what needed to be done at what time frame. The instructors were super helpful every step of the way and the office employees were awesome with rescheduling if I needed to and quick with answering the phones for any questions. Material provided is perfectly detailed and I was able to pass everything first try. Passing at the DMV first try aswell. Now I have my CDL.

Fantastic experience: If your not feeling positive about your test results it’s completely on you. I was going to school to be around the trucks and reciting the script out loud and all the teachers we’re giving me fist bumps and approving eyes. They will tell you that “The people that put in the extra hours on their own time are the ones that pass on the first try”. Anyways, feel free to speak up and inspect that truck out loud, let everyone hear what you are saying and they will wrap around and listen as you pre-trip . Fantastic experience: My experience at America Truck Driving School exceeded any and all expectations. From the 1st visit introduction, through passing my Class A (on the 1st Try BTW,,,, as he pats himself on the shoulder, because if he pats his back, he can only reach the lower part and people STARE). I was treated as an important Person by ALL the staff, from the Office Staff to the Instructors. I only have a few classes left until I complete the Class B/Passenger endorsement (which I guarantee I won’t fail more than twice ). America Truck Driving School has been in Business OVER TWENTY YEARS and has a PROVEN-SYSTEM to teach you how to acquire a CDL,,,,,, PERIOD. There’s so many Positive reviews, hopefully people considering enrolling will focus on those. Before writing this review, I decided to read through the reviews, and make a few notes so I could address the good and bad. To those that left Great reviews, I couldn’t agree more with how Professional, Courteous, and Pleasant ALL the Staff is. I’ve been there for more than 50 HOURS, and saw ALL the INSTRUCTORS in action with MANY Students, and saw ONLY respectful/pleasant moods and instruction. What I’d like to emphasize is how much I felt like their goal was to TEACH ME and the others, no matter how quick (or sometimes not) I/WE were grasping the materials. Turned out that America Truck Driving School’s system WORKS (I’m living PROOF). I did have a misunderstanding with one of the instructors. Once I addressed it with him, it was IMMEDIATELY RESOLVED, and in the end, he More than made up for it. I’m not going to mention his name, but it rhymes with SARVANDO . He’s really quite a guy, AND his goals are for students to PASS, so if he suspects you’re straying from the PROVEN SCRIPT, he makes it CLEAR!!!!! Now to the Nay-Sayers,,,,,, *WARNING, THE FOLLOWING IS VERY OPINIONATED* 1st I’m going to address some of the negative words or remarks used in some of the bad reviews, then I’m going to reply to them a Lot less politely than the Owners did. Someone said “Some of the instructors are grumpy” Well, have you considered that you may be a grumpy person? These instructors are just PEOPLE. Sometimes people respond to how they’re treated!!!! Were you enrolling to find your new Best FRIEND? Or did you want to learn to get a CDL? I didn’t witness grumpiness. Some people are warmer than others,,,,,,,, welcome to LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another said “The equipment is old” Why didn’t you mention how well maintained it is? This is a Training Facility, maybe you should train at a MUSEUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you train on Brand NEW equipment, then get assigned an “OLD” truck vs the other way around, I doubt you’d be better off. This JERK said “some of the Instructors have thick accents” HE forgot to mention just how CLEAR, DIRECT, and UNDERSTANDABLE their sentences ARE!!! How many languages does HE speak? Geesh! We live in a country that’s MOSTLY immigrants, ONLY 2.6 % of the USA is NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN, GET OVER YOURSELF!!!!! I personally find their communications more DIRECT,,,, the American-English language WASTES a LOT of words getting the same points across. I feel fortunate to have attended America Truck Driving School!!!

Fantastic experience: After having a a horrible experience with Driving Academy 160 and spending time and money. My experience here was absolutely fantastic. The staff are very attentive and make sure that you understand whatever the subject is before they move you on. Plenty of trucks on the yards so no one is waiting for too long to practice. And everything is 1 on 1. Whenever I had any questions they were more than happy to answer in detail. ALL of the instructors made it a point to learn your name as quickly as possible which was nice and showed that they actually care. You can actually feel that the instructors and the girls in the office care about your success, you aren't just another student to them. There is no limit to their patience. I would 100% recommend this school to anyone seeking their CDL. Worth every penny spent. Thanks again America!!!

Fantastic experience: I recently finished my training with America Truck Driving School.. I just went for my testing (Inspection, Backing Skills, and Driving) and I passed on my first try. I can tell you from my first phone call, enrollment, orientation, yard inspection, and driving instruction - I was treated with honesty and respect from day one. The instructors do care and earned my respect by showing that they do take what they teach with great pride. If you struggle be honest with them about what you struggle with and don’t be afraid to ask questions. You get different instructors through the learning process which is a great thing as they all have different styles and experience in the industry. I liked that and I feel that is what helped me as it all adds up at the end.. So from someone that just completed the program what would my advice or tip be to the one reading this and considering a new direction? Have an open mind and take what they have and absorb it.. Read the inspection paper they give you out loud and record it on your phone to listen in the car while you drive.. It Helps.. Thank You To EVERYONE at America Truck Driving School for EVERYTHING you did.. You helped me open a new door..

Negative experience: The school is overpriced and takes advantage. I called to get information on the new hazmat course required by law as of February 2022. The school makes you go down in person to register and pay for the course which is unnecessary traveling. The course is $150 through this location. I’m glad I shopped around and found a cheaper place it was all done online and a third of the cost.

Fantastic experience: Good school the instructors are cool and want to see you pass. The trucks are easy to drive would definitely recommend. You won't be disappointed if you choose this school. Most importantly here's the gospel, The Bible says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Roman's 3:23) The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord (Roman's 6:23) And that we all deserve wrath ( in hell) (Ephesians 2:3) But God desires that no one goes to he'll but that all repent (2 Peter 3:9) God desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4) Jesus himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24) Jesus says He's the way, truth, and life, and that no one goes to heaven but through Him (John 14:6) And that salvation is only in Jesus (Acts 4:12) And to repent and be baptized and to follow Jesus to be saved. Biblical repentance means to change your mind and change direction of how you've been living and start doing things according to the Word of God. Call on Jesus to save you and start reading the New Testament and obeying what it says. Get baptized when your serious about following Christ. Jesus is the One true living God (John 1:1).

Positive experience: My old job in the production field had moved 2 Tennessee and I was looking for something new. I ended up getting approved by the state 2 go 2 American. All the instructors are well spoken and positive. The course is not overwhelming but it moves quick and the hours allow you 2 work or keep your other job until you are done. They provided solid training and a truck 2 take my test. I have been out of school one week and have three solid job leads.

Fantastic experience: From the time I started going to American truck driving school to the time I took the driving test the trainers and training was invaluable in passing at the commercial DMV and inspections testing. The training they give you will help you pass your DMV test on your 1st appointment that's how much confidence they they instill upon you by their training program and communication of their trainers. The experience I gained by going to this school who was invaluable to get me started on the next phase of my life. The driver who brought the truck for me to test in helped me by sharing his knowledge of the area and possible scenarios of testing I can't thank Johnny enough for his knowledge.

Negative experience: On 8/27/21 I was scheduled for An appointment. I was called at 9 am by the instructor and was asked "where are you" I explained to him my appointment was at 2. He said "I am not waiting all day" I immediately called the office and explained to them that this happen. Also I ask not to mention this because I was still going to test anyway. To my surprise the instructor moments after. I arrive made a undeserved comment "I don't want to hurt his feelings" I felt my sense of security and peace of mind was taken. All I paid for was my classA but I am out. I am sorry that this happen. Just a reminder that we need to be sure this place is trust worthy. ..

Fantastic experience: Con 20hrs fueron suficiente para pasar a la primera todos los exámenes! Obviamente uno tiene que poner mucho empeño para lograrlo. Los instructores fueron muy amables, atentos y sobretodo muy profesionales. Lo recomiendo al 100%

Fantastic experience: Although I went in with experience with manual transmissions, I had no experience backing a trailer or driving a semi in a city environment. The instructors are knowledgeable and helped me greatly. The school's system for teaching the inspection made it virtually impossible to fail the inspection portion of the DMV test.

Fantastic experience: America Truck Driving school is Great school to attend.After Being a security Guard for 12 years i said to myself its time for a new career.I doubt if I could do it the training, until I saw an instructor training a student that was deaf ! Yeah I said it a Deaf student training for a CDL class A. After seeing that I said to myself there is no excuse for me ,not to get my CDL class B. There is Plenty of behind the wheel training, you pick your schedule, and Great instructors. Mike and Jesus thank you guys so much.I was so nervous on my test date, didn't sleep the day prior. When I took my test last Friday, I passed and got my class B CDL. I highly recommend American Truck Driving school.

Fantastic experience: All the instructors are great and all the staff as well i highly recommend this Driving school i passed my Drive Test and Inspection no problem. They work around your schedule which is great and when you pass you receive a certificate and they give you a list of employers that are hiring and willing to work with you if you don’thave experience.

Fantastic experience: America truck driving school is a good school to learn how to get your CDL the teachers are nice and really know what they are doing if you dont know how to drive a manual they teach you but i would recommend learning before enrolling it makes learning easier. Also the office staff are well organized and informative making the process run smoothly.

Fantastic experience: First of all, I want to thank all the staff that helped me out through this process out in Riverside. For those of you, looking into getting into the program visit the main training site get familiar with it ask questions. My experience was great I put in the time, and effort in learn while in class, and after class to learn my pre-trip inspection. My time in learn skill was good it was not easy, but if you listen to your instructor you should be fine. For the time I was at the yard the only to instructor I got to work with was Chris, and Servando. Just like Servando, would say (don't think about it to much) if you're serious about joining check it today. I was blessed to pass my DMV test the first try you just have to put in your time and effort. Thank you America Trucking School for this new chapter in my life.

Fantastic experience: Great office staff they help you with everything you need and go the extra mile to accommodate you with the classes and special requests, excellent instructors they are patient and take the time to make sure you understand everything. I want to give a shout out to all the instructors in specific sercando,michael, kevin and Chris they went above and beyond. I tested last week and passed my first time. Thank you America truck driving . I definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Good instructions. They tell you all you need to know. No more than 2 students per instructor. Chris was great.

Fantastic experience: Was very hesitant to go to trucking school as you hear stories of getting ripped off but America Truck Driving was the worth it. The office staff is very helpful in scheduling class time and dmv appointment and if you ever needed any last minute classes to get more practice they work with you. The instructors all have their own style but you will learn everything you need to pass the test at dmv. The time and money invested was worth it.
