Negative experience: A child of mine recently attended a session at Caswell Driving School and I was deeply disturbed by a speech given by an employee. She specifically instructed female students to dress conservatively to avoid “distracting” male instructors. This comment not only felt outdated and inappropriate but also raised serious concerns about the culture and safety standards at this school. If the administration feels the need to caution against distractions of this nature, it makes me wonder about the adequacy of their background checks on employees and the overall vetting process for students. Are there measures in place to ensure that the environment is safe for all participants? Driving schools should prioritize professionalism, equality, and safety. This experience has left me questioning whether these values are upheld at Caswell Driving School. I urge management to reflect on the implications of such statements and take steps to foster an inclusive and respectful environment for everyone.

Fantastic experience: I had Sam Wilson for most of my drives and he was great! So kind and gentle with corrections I needed to make. I passed my road test today and I can say Caswell driving school helped me get to that point :) I’ll be recommending this to others.

Fantastic experience: I am grateful to Caswell Driving Group, Mrs. Landrum-Caswell and Instructors: Cordero-Starke, Wilson, and Garrison their patience, understanding, and invaluable wisdom. You can learn a lot from the driving instructors, such as methods to better your parking and a lot more. I ended up taking my test and passing first try with Caswell’s help. But after the 4-day class with Caswell she gained confidence and was ready to give it a try. I can say she has successfully completed their program and now is a knowledgeable, safe driver. I was given multiple practical and hands on experiences to help me get better acquainted with driving, road and map knowledge, and overall decision making rather it be on or off the road. I highly recommend Caswell Driving Group to others, not only is it a safe learning environment but you also can cut the wait time at the DMV. Nobody likes waiting in the DMV.

Fantastic experience: Caswell Driving School was an amazing experience for my son! Mrs. Cadero set the tone during her intro and welcome to the students and parents. Her energy was so contagious that I wanted to stick around for myself! The owner, Mrs. Caswell, is top notch and professional in every sense of the word. Anyone that I came in contact with was extremely pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, and eager to assist with any questions. My son expressed that he enjoyed the bond created between him and his fellow classmates during their time in the classroom, and that Mrs. Cadero made learning fun. He enjoyed each one of his driving instructors, who were extremely knowledgeable and gave good feedback after each lesson. He has even taught me some things from class and being on the road that I may have forgotten over the years. I would recommend Caswell Driving School a 1000 times over to teens and adults, no need to look any further!

Fantastic experience: WHERE DO I EVEN START? If anyone is thinking about taking driver classes here, JUST DO IT! I started Mid-august of 2023. I ended up having to take a little break due to my promotion at work but that never stopped them for reaching out and accommodating me anyway they could. Started back on early April 2024 & I passed my test 5/20. Literally less than 2 months. I wish I could sit in on the class again because Mrs. C is the BOMB. That's the only voice i heard when i was at the DMV taking my permit test (passed on the 1st time BTW lol). They take their time and ensure you know everything there is. Stimulator was very helpful and gives you can idea of what the road is like. Parking lot drive with my bday twin Jordan was very insightful. I learned a lot. Even back into a parking spot without using the camera. 1st official drive was with the owner Teresa. A literally angel!!!! She made my 1st time ever on the road a breeze. As soon as you get in the car, you feel safe and know that you are getting the best training out there. I left that drive feeling comfortable & confident that i know i was going to ace that test. Last but not least, Mr. Harris was my final drive and gave me my road test. He's like the final boss and its truly an honor that i got to drive with him and get that final lesson in before my test started. I never once felt scared behind the wheel. When I found out that i passed, the waterworks started to flow. Here's a girl that never thought she would be on road as a driver and look at me now. This school has expended my world so much and i would happily do it over again. The staff is friendly, funny, informative but overall caring. I can't say this enough. Take your classes here! <3

Fantastic experience: This is my first experience on driving so my husband enrolled me to Caswell Driving School. I must say that everyone on the program are very dedicated to make sure you are confident enough to know the safety precautions when you hit the road. Starting from Miss Cindy that has been the nicest teacher to ever teach (and she's cool too! luv her) continuing to Mrs. Caswell herself who has been very accomodating and very responsive on any inquiry (she's the kindest) and to Mr. Harris who gave me tips and proper knowledge how to keep myself safe on the road. If you ever you hear about Caswell Group, they are the people YOU NEED!!

Fantastic experience: We HIGHLY recommend Caswell Group Driving School. Our son Sam had a great experience with very knowledgeable and kind instructors both in the classroom and while driving. He was able to do his drivers test as well and it made the process with the DMV super easy. They were very easy to communicate with and we received quick responses to emails and questions.

My youth had his permit but learned so much about driving and rules of the road. His in class and driving instructor were great. Fantastic experience: Loved this experience for my daughter. They have extra classes at $50 a piece if you don’t feel like your child is ready: I highly recommend this class if you are a scary, yelling, holding the door parent like me. It is nerve wrecking teaching teenagers to drive and I’m glad my daughter had great teachers. They have payment plans available if you don’t have the money up front. Best experience every, I highly recommend all teenagers take this course. Edit: today she just bought a car. Parents if your kids want to drive take them here.

Fantastic experience: They not only taught me everything I needed to know about the knowledge test but made the learning process a breeze. I'm proud to say I passed the knowledge test on the first try thanks to them! All my behind-the-wheel lessons were also very fruitful, and with some home practice I've made my way up to passing the state road test and getting my license! I'm absolutely grateful for the time spent here, and the price was affordable for us! I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I would like to say that this was one of the best educational services I've ever had. People who work at this driving school are truly passionate about what they do! I had a bad experience with driving lessons in my home country, but Caswell's school completely changed my mind about my abilities in driving and overall exceeded all my expectations! Very detailed in-class training with interesting activities (kahoot games, quizzes), that really prepared me as much as possible for further driving practice! Thanks to Miss Cyndi, the 36 hours inside the class were valuable and interesting! We didn't just go through everything by the book, but Miss Cyndi shared lot of personal driving experience and tips! As it happens, I had driving lessons with three different instructors (Jordan, Mr. Harris and Ms. Teresa) and all 3 were very patient, supportive and gave lots of advices! I thought that driving is difficult and was slightly anxious, but thanks to the instructors, after each class I felt much more confident in my driving abilities! Fantastic experience: An absolutely amazing program. As an adult I felt very hesitant and insecure being behind the wheel, due to the gap of experience between me and my general peers. Adding on to this, I had been in a few wrecks as a passenger that gave me horrible nerves. The last time I’d driven prior to this was so long ago I was at more of a level of knowing just which was just the gas vs the brakes lol. From classroom to behind the wheel, the instructors showed us an immense amount of kindness, patience, and understanding. The classroom portion was the right amount of seriousness and lightheartedness. At the wheel, the instructors were able to correct and test my knowledge, without creating a comfortable or fearful environment. After just my first lesson I was looking forward to the next lol! My friends can’t believe I went from dreading the experience to eager within just a month and a half. Due to the tools/skills I learned, I was more than confident when it came to taking both portions of the DMV test. I legitimately believe I wouldn’t be driving today if it wasn’t for going through the program. I’m also beyond happy that they’re situated in the city and closer to the communities that really need something like this, in comparison to the rest of the schools on the outskirts. Even with the cost vs DIYing being a factor, I can say it’s more than well worth it! I started the course mid September, got my permit 10/02, my license on 10/26, and am closing out on my first car already. Thank you so much Caswell, Cyndi, Jordan, and Anthony!

Fantastic experience: Caswell Driving Group did an outstanding job helping to prepare my teen for driving! He completed the in-person class during his scheduled school break in the Spring and was able to test successfully and received his permit the same week! They performed hours of in-car driving with hands-on training over the next several months while he had his permit, and provided feedback to help him become an even safer driver. They conveniently completed his final road test and provided him the documentation needed for an insurance discount and to obtain his driver’s license with ease! They are the peace of mind you are looking for if you want your teen to be prepared for driving independently. Excellent job!

Right from when I first reached out to them via email to learn about  their classes to my final driving session and road test, it has been a wonderful learning experience to say the least. Very professional, but very accommodating and flexible at the same time. Enrolled for a 36 hour driver education class, and it was amazing throughout. Despite having prior driving experience from my home country, found the class very valuable and a good use of my time and energy. It made actual on-road driving a lot easier having gone through professional in-class training to learn the rules of the road here. They care for you, they want you to be safe on the road. As professional instructors, they’d share tips and best practices that you may not have known before. Ms. Caswell, Ms. Cyndi, Mr. Jordan, and Mr. Anthony form a really formidable team and make sure you have all your bases covered before you walk out with your driving license. I really wish the best for this team! They truly go an extra mile in their services and in their diligence in a very responsible job. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Okayyyyy!! LETS TALK ABOUT IT. I had the best experience doing this program . I found this program online after browsing other programs and the reviews compared to the others had me sold. I saw that the next adult class was about to start in about a week and I knew I couldn’t miss it. I dropped everything I had planned for the month of August and signed up. Ms. Cindy was an amazing in class instructor and provided all the necessary study materials needed to really learn the rules of the road and even managed to make it fun . The material stuck and wasn’t overwhelming. Anything we didn’t understand she found ways to make it understandable. I passed the written test and only missed 2. Now before this I had 0 driving experience. Literally none , I’ve been putting off learning to drive for years and had built up a real fear of driving , Jordan who did my parking lot practice made me super comfortable and allowed me the space to ask 100 questions and keep retrying certain things because I’m a perfectionist lol . He was so reassuring and after that parking lot drive most of my anxiety and fear due to not know anything at all about driving , like the gears and the gas from the break were gone. Now Ms. Teresa , so sweet and patient. Ms. Teresa instructed the remainder of my driving sessions including my extra drive and my state road test. She erased all the fear I had left because she was so willing to explain and re-explain and demonstrated and guided in a way I could of never thought I’d get from anyone teaching me to drive. She was my cheerleader and I needed that . She made me so comfortable at one point we were just riding and talking and singing like I wasn’t just learning to drive . I started the class on Aug 19th , started my drives on September 6th got my permit on Sept 20th and my License on Oct 4th and felt comfortable enough driving on my own to purchase my own car on Oct 7th . I’m 1000% satisfied with what this course has taught me. This course helped me overcome my fear and gain the last piece of independence I needed. I’m officially a real driver and it feels so surreal, this is something I only ever dreamed off and I owed it all to these guys. I recommend this driving school to anyone who had ever been afraid, anxious , nervous or just simple has no one who can teach them . 10/10 *Chefs kiss*

Fantastic experience: Amazing driving school! I was so nervous about driving and had no idea where to even start! You learn so much that you would never know about outside of a driving school. The teachers are above and beyond amazing and care about you and your experince. I started class in March of 2023, and recived my permit as soon as I finished the learning classes, and once i started my behind the wheel I got to recieve me licence by August of 2023. Amazing program :)

Fantastic experience: I recently attended the Caswell Group Driving School and I wish I could give it 6 stars out of 5. The teachers are extremely educated and knowledgeable and it’s very evident that they love helping out teens in this area. Before I attended the teen program, I was honestly a bit scared to get back into the driving world after a 3 month break from a car wreck. After the program, I was confident in my driving abilities, fixed all of my driving issues and got my license. Please send you kids here… it’s the best in the area. Also depending on your location (specifically in North Memphis and Millington areas) it can be the closer and cheaper option.

Today I took the knowledge test and I literally heard MRs Cynthina’s voice in my head explaining every question, she is a great teacher I mean it! I didn’t take the Exam right away because i just moved to the US and I don’t have the 2 proof of residency requirements but today I did after 3 months and remembered everything she thought in the class room Obviously i passed My simulation and first Day in car drive was with MR Jordan he was sooo patient with me for someone who never stepped a foot on the accelerator before I needed his patience. Last but not least MRs Teresa I failed my first simulation she was kind enough to Give me extra 2 hours session without any payment. My very first on the road drive was with her she gave me my confidence I still have 1 session and I can’t wait to meet her again I don’t like writing reviews but these people need to be appreciated. thank you Hanna

Fantastic experience: I had Sydney as a teacher for the adult class and the whole experience was just great. She broke down the driving book so well. I was able to pass my the dmv test for my permit on my first try. The road tests I had were great. Mrs. Teresa broke everything down step by step and helped me gained confidence to pass my road test. 10 / 10 experience.

Fantastic experience: CASWELL DRIVING SCHOOL WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. IN THE BEGINNING I WAS KIND OF WORRIED ABOUT LEARNING THE RULES OF THE ROAD BUT I ACHIEVED. MOST DEFINITELY WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY . THE INSTRUCTORS ARE AMAZING AS WELL & WILL HAVE YOU SAFE AND ROAD READY AT THE END.

Fantastic experience: Best driving school in Memphis! Instructor Bowden, Harris, Cordero and Caswell were amazing. I was a very nervous adult student and they were able to help me find good tips to be safe on the road and feel confident driving. I was able to get my license and purchase my dream car within a few months. I am so grateful for this driving school. I recommend it for everyone I know who wants to learn how to drive. Very affordable with the best instructors. 10/10!
