Negative experience: A family member and I both tried out this school, all I have to say is MONEY HUNGRY. I took one class with Luis whom was very impatient and would constantly take control of the steering wheel with every move/turn I did. The moment I finished my first class all he had to tell me was 5 lessons would not be enough and that I should take at least 10. The moment I heard that I knew all they wanted was money. My family member decided to give them a try and she got Mr.P, $600 and 10 classes later the instructor didn’t teach her how to parallel park, 3 point turn or reversing until the VERY last class. Worst of all, he would show her VIDEOS on how to drive properly rather than actually teach her. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Great school and driving instructors! Mr. P was of amazing help. The secretaries were also always kind and helpful scheduling classes. Overall everything was well organized and managed. All you have to do is be ready to learn and they do the rest!

Negative experience: I went to register classes with my mother today and the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and disrespectful. In the end she recommended that we looked for a different school instead of helping us. Their customer service is the worst.

Fantastic experience: I went into the school just to inquire and when I say I was sold… I was sold. From everyone at the office to my instructor Luis. Everyone was so patient, very informative, and extremely patient. My instructor Luis taught me so efficiently that it gave me confidence to drive and I PASSED MY ROAD TEST!!!! One step at a time they work with you to accomplish what you went there for. They give you confidence and never miss to send you constant reminders so you make sure not to miss a class. They work around our hectic work schedule to make it possible to plan for classes. They also give you the exact tools you need to study at home. I'm not going to say this experience was easy but whatever you put your mind to you will get. This school is a grand choice to go try. My instructor Luis was also very patient and transparent. Fantastic experience: I would say Atlas is the best but I haven't tried the rest when it comes to CDL. However there is no need to try the others. When I came into feel out the establishment Alex was there to dispell any doubts that I had. Alex reassured that he and his team were capable of meet my needs when it came to taking the CDL road test and inspections, and they did. Luis my instructor was the best he is very knowledgeable patient and encouraging. The material is on point when taking the road test and doing the inspection. As student you just have to apply yourself and do your independent studying outside of your classes with Atlas, and you will be fine. I passed my road test on Monday and on Tuesday I had my temporary License. 10/10 for Atlas Driving Schools

Starting from the owner, to the ladies in the front, to my instructor Luis, and to the Senior citizen who took me to the road test, they are all amazing. They only care about you passing your road test on the first try, not your money. Yes I say it, NOT YOUR MONEY...A SPECIAL THANKS to my instructor Luis for everything, for your patience, your lifetime techniques you taught me, how to be a great commercial driver. He is the best instructor i have ever had. He is very patient, humble and ready to answer every question you may have. He prepares you to pass your CDL road test and to be a professional driver. As long as you follow his techniques and study the guide the school provides you the first day you sign up with them, you will pass your road test on the first try, like me. The instructors are patient, informed and put you through the test. I passed my test on February 14, 2022. I'm now the holder of a CDL with B/P. Thanks to the instructors and the motivational office staff. The package is reasonable when compared with other schools.

Fantastic experience: I have passed my CDL Road Test on my very first try two days ago but I know for sure that it couldn't be possible without the knowledge and patience of Atlas Driving School. Also, I did my research of different CDL driving schools before even going to Atlas, they have the most affordable prices out of every school in NYC. That being said, you as a student have to study and do your part if you're willing to get your CDL license. Everyone at Atlas will do their very best to give you all the tricks, tips and techniques to obtain your CDL. My instructor Luis is extremely knowledgeable and plane and simple, he's a very nice guy with a tone of patience when it comes down to teach you everything about passing and getting your CDL.
