Just be aware of ARLINGTON school working hours that is exactly opposite to his office. You might not see the flashing light from his office when you start for road test as it is at far left near the traffic light. Your road test will start in school zone

Negative experience: It's a scam. They don't tell you how much marks you get on the driving test even if you have passed or failed in the test. The process of giving marks is not clear. New comment based on the reply: I failed the test that is not the problem. The problem is the number giving process has to be clear and straight forward. How much number was deducted for this particular event, you don't even mention that. The instructor did not give any specific information about the exam and how the marks are going to be distributed. I spent money so you have to give a clear answer. Also middle of the training session, the instructor stepped out of the car and inhaled cigarettes or type like that. You know People are not that kind of stupid . Btw I have passed my driving exam few days later.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience here! I paid for the hour prep and road test, after failing my last three tries at the road test. Mr. Rogers was my instructor, and he was so kind and patient. He really eased my driving anxiety. He did a great job of being a polite passenger while also keeping an eye on the road and my movements while not seeming too overbearing. I highly suggest this driving school!!

Negative experience: I had an unfortunate experience here. I reserved a Road Test. I’m older than 25 with a license from a different country that is 100% legal to drive in Texas with. A+ online requirements are clear in that they ask for a restricted license to do the test. I assumed that since I had a perfectly legal license I would be able to do it (they let you do it in the DMV). They would rather be close minded than try to help and they would rather keep your $75 than have a happy customer. I checked and they still have a lot of available appointments for the same day, so I didn’t cause them to lose other clients. If this was my business I would rather give the money back for a service I didn’t perform than hide behind a nonsense no-refunds policy. If you are in a similar situation I suggest you look elsewhere to a business that will show common sense and courtesy.

Fantastic experience: I did a skills confidence course & my driver’s exam with Mr. Rogers III . I let him know ahead of time that I do have drivers anxiety due to me failing my test the 1st time at DPS . Mr. Rogers was very patient and talked me through the lessons and gave me the necessary advice to not only pass my drivers test but to become confident behind the wheel . Highly recommend him anytime !Two thumbs up!

Negative experience: Very bad experience and rude behavior by evaluator Harris. I need justification She failed me with improper reason. As per Texas law when emergency vehicle is coming in opposite lane. We should slow down to 20km/hr and pull vehicle to right side if it is safe and let the vehicle go. In my case emergency vehicle came suddenly in opposite direction then I slow down to speed 20 km then I was late to pull the vehicle to right lane because I did not feel safe to pull right side as vehicles coming from back side but my speed is 20km and then slowly changed the lane. She failed me for that reason. But Texas law is telling we should slow down to 20km/hr and pull the vehicle to right side if it safe until the emergency vehicle passed. I did the same I slow down my vehicle to 20km/hr and I tried to pull to right but little bit late because I feel it is unsafe to pull the car immediately to right. First thing it is important to slow down first and give the way. But pulling to right lane immediately depends on drivers safety and situation. She failed me for improper reason and her behavior is very very rude and she is talking too much during test and disturbing the test taker I need justification

Negative experience: I have had nothing but issues since we have been enrolled. Would not recommend they tried to charge more for gas when gas price hadn't changed nor was it in the policy. So he could never even start driving until we paid for gas before he drove. Then drive and observation hours kept changing or nobody show and he had to do both and wouldn't get credit. Ready to be done.

At first I took the road test at the DPS and failed so I decided to take a couple of lessons with the driving instructor, I took Mr.Cooper and he was nice and very detailed and informative. My driving skills improved! Then I took the road test with Ms.Harris and passed! I was very nervous at first but she helped calm me down and she was very informative, nice and calm! It’s worth the investment for your future here!

Negative experience: I'm not one to make negative comments on businesses, but in this situation, I can't let things stand. A couple of weeks ago, with my help, my daughter set up her account to go take her driving test - scheduled a couple of weeks out from the day we signed up. The very NEXT day (after signing up / booking a time), we get a 'NO SHOW' notice after never getting even a confirmation of a booking. The no show means my $75 is gone and I'll have to pay $65 to reschedule the test. Obviously we were confused, so I contacted them. The first time I called, I was able to speak with someone and explain the situation and they indicated they would have someone call me back. I waited for 3 days (it was over the weekend, after all) and never heard from anyone. So I called back - this time to voicemail - leaving a message re: the situation. The next day I called - same thing. Finally, a third call - again, with NO responses, I left yet another message. So, yeah - doing my small part... CAVEAT EMPTOR!!

Fantastic experience: I had lessons with Mr. Rogers and Mrs. B with both being very professional and calming. Their staff really allowed for the environment for me to be cautious and have fun driving at the same time. If you are a more of a go get it and high energy person, Mr. Rogers is very fun and his teaching is very straight forward. Mrs. B was chill and teaches more on methods and ways to remember things if you are more about remembering steps. As long as you actively ask questions and express concerns, they’ll directly tell you. 10/10 would recommend both of them and going to the school for lessons. The receptionist(s) are all very knowledgeable and quick. As for the road test I just took today, Ms. Harris was great. Yes, I was very anxious, but don’t be. She’s very straight forward with directions and offers tips at the beginning. Her debriefing is also very useful towards the end. I love their staff

Fantastic experience: The process from start to finish was extremely pleasant. Brenda was wonderful helping us set up my appointment. Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable or could help me get the answers I needed, and Ms. Harris was a lovely instructor. I lament I don't remember the name of the lady who finished up my paperwork, but she was very helpful and made me feel like she was going thr extra mile. Awesome service all around.

Fantastic experience: This review is for Mr. T Rogers |||. He is an exceptional teacher/instructor! When I first arrived to the school I didn’t know what to expect. I was very anxious and nervous when it came to driving because of the “instructions” of my parents. He stripped all the nervousness and anxiousness away. He helped me become comfortable driving while of course being aware and cautious. And today I passed my road test because of his leadership! I just want to say thank you. I would wish in the future that he would do both driving sessions as well as road tests (because we need a pleasant and kind road test person).

Fantastic experience: Becky was able to portray how to me a safe drive on the road and it impacted me to take in her advice to become a more sustainable driver. Not only do I feel more comfortable and confident for the streets but I feel ready the highways as well. And I’m only in my second lesson, so I do feel she really understands what she’s doing as a driver and a teacher.

Refreshing amount of professionalism provided from all aspects of the company. Most of my process was online, very easy to navigate and checkmark each step along the way. When I needed any assistance, I was able to call front desk, greeted with great customer service and experienced ability to take care of any questions or scheduling issues. My road test was an amazing experience, felt like I was driving with a friend. She talked me through the whole test with positivity and comfort. The helpful tips on being a safe driver while testing will put you at ease and help you drive safer. Regardless of how bad or great of a driver you are, A+ Driving has the abilities to make you better. 10/10 Rating!

Negative experience: I don't know where to start from. This place literally stole our money. $370 stolen from us. We paid the tuition required for behind the wheel sessions plus the road test. My wife got on the road during her first session and for her first time. She got into an accident by hitting the curb. Her instructor was not even there, she didn't even hit the brakes. My wife didn't hit one curb but two curbs which took about 4 seconds while the instructor's eyes weren't even on the road nor she hit the brakes at all. Our online account was disabled like an hour after the accident on the same exact day. They NEVER contacted us for anything. I went there twice to continue our sessions and schedule next ones but they never did. Every-time I go there, the lady there tells me the manager doesn't come here; she/he stays in Grand Prairie and she/he will contact you. Over two months now and we were never contacted nor our money was refunded. $370 FOR 30 MINUTES ON THE ROAD AND A CAR ACCIDENT. I AM ANGRY THAT I AM FORCED TO PUT ONE STAR.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend this, because they can take your road test, so you don't have to go to dps to take test and it only takes about 10 minutes to do the test.

Negative experience: Prepare for a long review! Definitely would not recommend this school for driving instruction. I am very confused on all the good reviews, but I am assuming they are mostly from people who have taken a DPS driving test here and not actually received driving lessons. I bought my brother the 5 lesson package and he said the first lesson with was not good, no active teaching going on and no feedback given at the end of the lesson. It seemed like we basically paid for someone to sit in the car with him while he drove around. I have driven with him several times so I KNOW he needs some teaching and feedback. We booked a different instructor for the second lesson and ended up with the same instructor we had before with no explanation on why the instructor we booked with was not doing the lesson. The second lesson with was even worse, he said the instructor had him stop to get her food DURING his lesson and she ate it in the car during the lesson. She would occasionally be on her phone when he looked over and there was still very little actual teaching done and no feedback at the end of the drive. This was all so disappointed since we paid $300 and my brother was very excited to get started. If we are paying for one on one lessons I think it is okay to expect full attention to be on teaching the student. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because they did refund us for the 3 lessons we did not end up getting, even though I really think we should have gotten a full refund because the first two lessons were basically nothing. We also never even got an apology when we called about this. I would say to try elsewhere for lessons.

Fantastic experience: This was a great driving school! I had a few driving lessons with Ms. Birkeland and she was a very nice instructor. I took my driving test with Ms. Jawad. She made it easy and quick! If you are just in need of extra practice and are looking for a driving school with nice people this is the one for you!

Negative experience: My son took his test while the DPS was closed. The website promoted a temporary license in about a week with the license in the mail in two weeks. Today we found out it will be a total of two months until he gets it!! They did give us the paperwork to go to DPS but by then it was months to get an appt. Good experience with the test but the misinformation has been a nightmare. Information given may not be reality.

Fantastic experience: If you want to get your DPS road test done, this is the best place. I scheduled my test the day before and I was in and out in 30 minutes. A big shout out to Ms Jawad, she was very friendly and an amazing instructor. Also, a big shout out to the young lady at the reception, she was extremely patient and explained each step very clearly. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Negative experience: We took a driving test there on May 8th due to DPS being closed. We were told we would be emailed a temp license within the week and then receive his license in the mail in about 2 weeks. It has been almost 4 weeks and nothing!!! I got an email today saying they still have no record of his paperwork! I would like to say that this is the fault of DPS except I have 4 friends who went to Midlothian and mailed in their own paperwork and received their license in the mail in 2 weeks. Their kids took their test and mailed their paperwork in a week and a half after us and already have their license! We finally said screw it and have an appointment to go to our local DPS that has opened and do it all over again. When I call to ask questions they are EXTREMELY RUDE!!!!!! A total waste of time and money!!!!!!

Negative experience: Money gone to waste all because of a rude instructor. As a student here we will obviously make mistakes and we shouldn’t be judged for them or feel bad for it especially in a rude manner. I don’t think all instructors are like that here but sadly I didn’t get a chance to be taught by the nice ones.
