Negative experience: It's evident this driving academy passes anyone with a heartbeat by the lack of driving knowedge in this county.

Fantastic experience: If I don't say Ray is amazing, I'll get clubbed like a baby seal. In all seriousness/honesty, Ray was a great teacher. He made a lot of funny, but out of pocket jokes that made class a little less unbearable. Steve did amazing as well. My favorite nights were; "Stick in the Face" night, "Chandler Hits a Buggy" night, and Finals night. I'm convinced I wouldn't have gotten a 100% on my final if it wasn't the for rubbing the Magical Cone given to us by Ray (and of course the teachers). I'm also convinced if Ray and Steve didn't remind me of some Disney Faces of my childhood, I wouldn't have paid attention like I did. (Ray reminded me of Mr. Litwak from Wreck-It-Ralph and Steve reminded me of Smitty from Imagination Movers) [Images include: Mr. Litwak, Smitty, and the all famous Magical Cone (of silence for student who fall asleep in class)]

Fantastic experience: Now that I'm stress free it's time to give a review of Andy's driving academy. I suffer from really bad anxiety and I took the weekend class. The first day I was so nervous to go in. My mom came in with me to pay before class started and met Andy and my mom explained what I deal with. Andy made sure before he left that I was alright which made me comfortable. My teachers for the weekends were Teresa and Steve. They both were amazing and gave fun classes even if our class barely talked. After I passed the class it was time to do 6 hours behind the wheel. I picked Steve for my three sessions just because I felt more relaxed around him. With his guidance and teachings my driving got better each time and the confidence I got I passed the mva test. I couldn't have found a better place to take the 30 hour class and 6 hours behind the wheel because everyone at Andy's are amazing at what they do and teach. I will till the day I die always recommend them to anyone who is getting a learner's/driver's license. With that I want to thank Andy Nancy Steve Teresa and everyone else who works there for the best experience y'all give to the students that come.

Fantastic experience: I went here for my driving class and it was great it might be a little long but I had a lot of fun once I got to know everybody.

Fantastic experience: As a mom with nothing better to do for the thirty class hours, I sat at the back of the room and received a wakeup call and refresher course that will help keep my family safer. Ray and Steve made the lessons memorable and engaging. Everyone at Andy's was friendly and kind. With two more children under the age of 15, I'll be back for two more refresher courses in the years to come, Lord willing! Your teaching should help keep me out of the driver improvement class!

Fantastic experience: Hi, It’s Christine Grace Gumaru and I give Andys a five star. The people at Andys are very very nice and I like the way they interact and communicate with other students, they don’t make it awkward when they discussing the lessons. They are more specific and they make it interesting for students to make it more understandable. And for the behind the wheel, they explained it first to the students about the do’s and don’ts. And yeah, overall they did a great job, it’s all nice and arranged accordingly and here I am, I just passed my road test today and I want to thanked all of the people at Andys.

Fantastic experience: From the very first conversation to the driver’s license! This school is top notch! My daughter with the help of the instructors along the way helped her of any real life road events. She scored high on each of her drives. plus Andy will let the student take their license in one of his cars for a fee. If I had another child they would definitely be going to Andy!

Ed was one of my favorite instructors, love his personality! I had him on my second drive and he made me feel comfortable about everything. He made it known to me that I would be safe and I did feel safe.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t have asked for a better school to prepare me for my life of driving Andy, Ray, and Steve were great in the classroom taking there time to make sure you understood everything you need to know likewise ED, and Teresa took their time to make sure everything went right during my drive times. Nancy was very helpful when scheduling my drive times and is a real sweetheart unfortunately there were instructors I didn’t have the pleasure of working with but I’m sure if they work for Andy they’re just as helpful and nice as the rest of his team!! Fantastic experience: My 16 year old completed the classroom portion and behind the wheel portion of drivers ed with Andy’s Driving Academy and we had a great experience. My son enjoyed the instructors (Ed in particular for the driving portion) and learned so much during his time with them. What we couldn’t teach as parents because of our lack of training, Andy’s instructors made up for and then some. I am 100% confident that my son was successful in completing his drivers test because of the instruction he received at Andy’s. I would recommend this driving school to anyone.

Fantastic experience: This is my last week here and I feel I have truly gained and abundance of helpful knowledge after attending this academy. The instructors during class time are very lively and interactive among the students making the class more enjoyable. My drives with Patrick were very comforting. I was very nervous going into them and he made it very easy to calm down and ease up on the road, and I ended up doing a lot better than I had anticipated.

Fantastic experience: I personally drove with Steve and Ed. I did all 6 of my hours here, and the service was impeccable. I’m an African American in St. Mary’s County, so I expected something less, but I was very thoroughly surprised by the quality I received. The driving instructors are very personable, and make you feel as if you’re driving with a wise friend as opposed to a cranky elder yelling down the back of your neck. They are VERY in-depth with how they explain certain things, and give you a lot of leeway to have your own thoughts and make your own decisions. They make it clear that you as the driver have to make the right decision, instead of you relying on someone giving you all the answers. As far as the front desk and customer service, Nancy KILLS the game!! Very knowledgeable about everything legal and regarding paperwork stipulations and things of that sort, and will break down why certain things are the way they are. Ed and Steve are cool! Always feel safe in the car with them, because here’s the thing: they will NEVER put you in a position where you have the chance to make a decision that means life or death. You’re far from harm’s way, and they will keep the eyes in the back of their head primed to catch things you don’t! All in all very beautiful education! No complaints at all. Fantastic experience: Honestly, I thought it was going to be the longest two weeks of my life. I was proved wrong. Andy's has fantastic instructors that keep students in check and focused. Even with the change of having class online, via zoom. They also kept me entertained which is hard to do. It made the experience way less dreadful and more enjoyable. With that, I passed all my tests and wasn't the slightest bit worried about passing the final exam. My whole class, including myself, passed the final exam. All in all, choosing Andy's for Driver's Education was and is the right choice. I encourage all parents and anyone who needs to complete a drivers education, to go to Andy's!

Fantastic experience: This was a great experience for driving school. I imagined driving school to be boring, long, drawn out, just overall horrendous. But Andy's was the complete opposite. You get your full education while having fun. He completely makes sure you dont just feel like another student but almost like friends. I had a great experience. The communication is great, the atmosphere is very inviting and positive. The other employees are very nice and they care about your education as well. I feel as though the price is definitely worth it. I will 100% recommended Andy's Driving Academy to any and everyone.
