I had a great experience and plus easy to learn everything step by step. God bless them too. I fully recommend for you to start on your CDL career.

Negative experience: I don't recommend you to make a deal with them because they took my money and i didn't drive also when i called they said your money is gone, we will not send you the contract that you signed i also asked to talk to the manager she hanged up the phone in my face. When you signed up DONT pay all the money , just s deposid became if you change your mind they wont give you back anything! I came to you first. You did not help me. Then I went to viking and I get my CDL. I need it the CDL because I'm DIESEL mechanic. I don't work for Viking but yes I did some repairs to their trucks while I was at their school. They did not know I left you review. I thought since I lost 4K for nothing I express what I feel towards your company. And I'm very happy how I got my CDL from Viking btw because they start with 500 registration and I pay as I go, so I know what I'm paying for , they did not require more money at the very beginning like your company. And they told me, if I change my mind they will keep the registration and refund whatever I paid extra. Unlike you. I did nothing with you and you refuse pay me back 4k. Which I work hard for.

Negative experience: Rude staff, tried to drop the class after paying in full because of a career change and they wouldn’t give even a partial refund. Apparently only give refunds up to 13 days! What a joke of a driving school! Very disappointed in how they talked down to me. I do not recommend going here. I only attended 3 months and a refund should reflect how much of the course you completed.

Fantastic experience: Señor Sergio did an amazing job taking over the classroom, made it easy for us to learn the pre-trip and was very funny and easy to work with. Fantastic experience: Knowledgable office staff and instructors with a wealth of experience to share. Kamila runs the office and offers succinct direction for navigating through the entire licensing process. Terry the main classroom instructor is a teacher at heart and clearly explains all the in cab and vehicle inspections in and easy to understand manor. The Yard instructors are all well experienced and in lock step with the State examiners requirements to pass your test. I was made to feel like a part of their team on a journey in the CDL acquirement process. Highly recomend this school.

Fantastic experience: I'm grateful for having attended Wolf driving school. It offered me the opportunity to meet incredible people from the office staff, classroom staff, and yard staff. My first day at the yard was challenging but with the motivation that kamila, instructor Ziggy , and instructor Yuri provided me it made the processes much better and gained me confidence. Instructor Ziggy made my journey at Wolf enjoyable. He was professional all the way not only did he take the time to help me when I was having a hard time, but his patience and kindness in doing so helped me gain more confidence in myself. Not only does he have experience in the filed, but he has the ability to teach other individuals and that's what makes him a GREAT instructor (not yelling or pressuring you when you don't execute something right). The classroom professors Terry and Sergio have a great amount of knowledge and they have that unique sense of humor that makes the classroom fun. Once again, I would like to express my sincerest thanks for your teaching and guidance to all the staff.

Fantastic experience: I’m recently retired and accepted a part time position that required me to obtain a Class - B commercial driver license. Kamila was very helpful in explaining the process from start to finish. She also worked with me all the way through. Terry was my primary classroom instructor. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge with big trucks. He also has an entertaining method of teaching the various subjects. My driving instructors were Ziggy and Sergio. They were very patient with me and were very helpful in demonstrating and explaining the basics of operating the straight truck. I highly recommend Wolf Driving Scool for all your CDL needs.

Fantastic experience: I cannot express how happy I am to have gone with this driving school over any of the other ones. This school is truly a great environment to learn and the office workers, teachers, and driving instructors really do seem to care about to success of their students. First off, Terry is a fantastic teacher, better than most of the college professors I’ve had. He streamlined the classroom process and made learning the pre-trip a breeze. He goes over material very well, in-depth, is always answering questions, and giving the students a laugh here and there to keep everyone’s spirits up. The driving instructors, all of them, are all great people who I truly enjoyed being around and made me feel welcome and ready to learn. They are rigorous at times, but only for your good and to push you to your full potential. Overall, they are all amazing people and care, and that I something I truly value in a learning environment. Lastly, the office workers are all great people and were really helpful throughout the signup and learning process. They were always super helpful, willing to help and explain things when I had trouble, and overall very nice people. Kamila was also very nice and always picked up the phone with a kind tone to really make you feel like these people care. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend anyone debating to get their CDL to most-definitely consider this school as I truly believe it is one of the best around.

Fantastic experience: Wolf's pre-trip material that you study was almost exactly what was on the state test, plus the knowledge of their instructors & hands-on learning environment at the yard with the trucks was extra helpful. This school will work with your schedule and/or job as well. Plus, the State comes to the school yard for testing, making it even more convenient!

Positive experience: Easy registration, easy to find locations, knowledgeable instructors, willing to allow the student to work around existing work schedules. They have evening and day time classroom and practical driving hours. While it took me almost a year to get through all the new (ridiculously excessive) federal classroom requirements, I was able to keep a continuity of knowledge throughout my process. Instructors are consistent in their message and very willing to answer questions. The only reason I didn't give a 5th star is that one of the instructors seemed to have fun catching people in a mistake. It's a relatively minor thing, but when we are taught to do everything in a specific order, following a plan and written script, it seems a bit petty to intentionally fluster a student by rapid-fire questions our of order of how things will be done on the exam and in real life. Otherwise, well worth the cost.

Fantastic experience: I like that they the state come to you for testing. The instructor let you work at your pace and they have recruiters come to help you start you career. Over all great schools.

Negative experience: Incredibly rude people and they won’t ever try to work anything out with you. The trainers are decent and give you the right tools to pass the state exam, but the office people are THE WORST. I was done with my 100 hours of instruction and had done my 20 hours of observation. I only needed my driving portion left to go. I all of a sudden got extremely sick and ill because of covid. I couldn’t even walk or talk for months and had to fight to recover. Once I felt healthy enough to go back to school they told me my time had expired and that I would need to pay the entire thing all over again. Honestly it’s just horrible how they treat people and don’t care about the people at all and just want the money. It’s B.S

Fantastic experience: I’m so blessed that I had the opportunity to be a part of wolf driving school and learned everything I needed to pass my cdl A class.

Negative experience: They lie to you! They do have too many students and equipments and the instructors are not enough for the number of people they have. Just to pass the pre-inspection by the teacher, you would have to wait for looooong time. Passing the instructor's pre inspection in class is harder than passing the state examiner. Since there are so many people at the driving yard waiting for their turn to practice, they don't want you to pass onto your next test. Because they have around 30 students in one class with only one simulator. Right now I’m done doing my 100 hours class & 20 hours yard observing & they put me one week ahead till I can start my driving It is impossible to complete the course in 4 weeks, even though you are doing everything that is required by you. They try to hold you in the class as long as possible, because they are so crowded at the yard. They don't have any lectures which they said they have. You have only one chance to take the instructor's test in a week. Once you pass this test you are allowed to practice your driving at the yard. The office workers are horrible! Don't come to this driving school! They will waste your time and energy. Yes, they are cheap, the quality is cheap too!

Terry did an incredible job preparing me for the pre trip inspection portion. All of the driving instructors made sure you knew every step of the skills and the driving on the road. Robert was very patient in the beginning when teaching the shifting and I’m very thankful Serg getting me ready for the skills portion of the exam. Negative experience: Worst school ever they’re so rude and for pre-trip they have only one old truck for up to 10 to 15 people you have to wait 3 hours to be your turn and definitely not Worth the time or the money

Fantastic experience: Great yard instructors especially Sergio! I was on the short course because I already had my Class B license but I recommend taking the full course and pay the extra money. Short course is not long enough if you've never drove a truck. A lot companies won't hire recent graduates if they don't complete the full course. Glad I found out before I completed the course. Don't be afraid to ask a lot of questions. They deal with so many students they might forget to mention something to you. Wolf is reasonably priced compared to other schools. Pretrip instructor Terry is awesome! Very patient and detailed. Make sure to ask him about the study videos. They helped me get my license. I would recommend Wolf to anyone looking to get their CDL. It wasn't easy getting my license. A LOT of studying. But well worth it!

Fantastic experience: Wolf driving was a good experience. Was about 4.5 months for me due to work. I was pushing hard to finish fast, I wish there was more availability for hours on the pre trip inspection part( before I drove on the road) . I also work full time sometimes 50 hours a week

Fantastic experience: I have chosen to go to this school , and that was the best decision I made. Everyone is super nice from the boys in the yard , to Kamila behind the desk, Maciek Sergio Jurek Douglas and the pretrip inspection guy Terry , these guys will teach you how to operate these big rigs like a pro. I wanted to say thank you to Wolf driving school because today I passed my test, and I wouldn't be able to to do it without you guys. If you're looking to get your CDL license or other licenses, I highly recommend going to Wolf Driving School. I'm going to miss everyone that helped out along the way.

Fantastic experience: I signed up right after they restarted operations after the pandemic closure. While it was a little confusing in the beginning, they (Wolf) were also learning how to do things in a new way from years past. The online materials and print materials they provide is plentiful. The online training website is being updated continuously and I hope they add more in the future. Since the pandemic happened Wolf seems to be changing their instruction model going in the direction of more online learning vs the traditional classroom setting. As most people have computers and access to smart phones it makes sense. Just like anything else change is sometimes hard but its inevitable. First phase is the permitting phase you will use their online materials and state study guide for this. It’s on you to retain the information. I found Wolf’s online tests and materials more than adequate to help me prepare for the state written exams. Once past the permitting phase you can begin your Pre-Trip Inspection (PTI) phase. I am not going to lie and say its easy. There is a lot of information you will need to learn for the PTI. If you take the time to study and spend time at the yard you will learn it. The main PTI instructor Terry is very patient and knowledgeable. Again if you put the time in learning the material it really is “EASY AS PIE” as Terry would say. They want you to know the PTI material especially the brake tests before moving on to the driving phase. How well and fast you learn that is on you. Once past the PTI phase you move on to the driving phase. My primary driving coaches Doug and Serge were great instructors and patient with me. If I made a mistake they would correct it and continue to build on what I was learning. Both gentleman has a wealth of knowledge on driving and trucking in general. It’s up to the student to take advantage of it for their benefit. On my last driving day I got to work with Urick. He did my final evaluation before I could take my state exam. He gave me last minute pointers and some extra confidence boosting. I could tell he was a great instructor wish I had to opportunity to work with him. On the day of the state road exam Serge acted more like a cheerleader instead of a teacher. When all of us were nervous it helped break the tension, calm everyone down, and give us a confidence boost that we all needed. Thanks Serge for that, we needed it. Kamila in the office was great she kept all my stuff together and answered my several emails. I know she has to juggle a lot of different things but she keeps it together. She gave me a great driving schedule that fit into my life schedule….To the owners of Wolf, if you continue what you’re doing and build on it you may not please everyone all the time, but you are pleasing most of everybody and it shows. I thank you for helping me get my license.

Negative experience: First of all called them on Friday to ask, the price and program details, nobody answered the phone, then called back again on Monday, lady answered and asked me to hold again, I was on hold for 10 minutes, nobody answered back, I thought may be call later, they might be busy coz of monday.. called back later after 2 hrs.. nobody answered,,,...left voice-mail,,, till today nobody answered... that shows, they don't care about their clients... never go there.. not worth it.. who don't care about customer service,,, means they don't care about clients and service... thumbs down..

Fantastic experience: Great school to get your CDL. The instructors are amazing. Terry teaches the class and also shares from his experience and that is great, all the yard/road instructors know what they are doing and are patient with you. Everyone wants you to succeed and get your CDL but they also wanna make sure you know what you are doing. A special thanks to Camilla for helping me out, the DMV gave me some problems but she was able to sort everything out. Fantastic experience: I had good experience with school. Kamila was great.Go see her she was a big help to me and my family. I Thank u Wolf driving school for helping me get my CDL. Thank u to my instructor machec i hope i'm spelling his name right but he was the best good teacher.

Negative experience: Full of lies. Told me that if I graduate and need to retake the class in the future it's free. Now they want to charge me $1500 after unemployment office gave them $2600 when the class only cost $1800. Wow.

Fantastic experience: Hi, I definitely recommend this school...First day when I walked in I was so confused what was going on there... Then I realized, we are not kids anymore we are grownup people ...I was expecting somebody to give me a tour of how this school works but instead they give you everything on paper script...So, my first few days were so frustrating... Then I realize you have to catch everything by your self...Once you figure how this school works its make sense.. This school does not babysit you for sure, don’t expect that and like i said we are all grown up people. Then day by day everything started to make sense to me..There is an amazing instructor Terry who is a very calm and polite man...Amazing person who has patience for everybody...he is there Monday to Friday. On Saturday you will see Raul there...Don't be afraid he is not a bad guy at all...Maybe he comes off a little bit rude but he is the best guy ever..He will teach you what is important to say when you have test with examiner.... But can you imagine how we would feel if we had to deal with a bunch off students who has million questions for one second... However first 100hours of class you have to “warm up your chair” and learn the basic things about semitrucks and trailers... After that when you pass everything, the instructor has to sign that you passed in cab, shifting, and form a, b, and c so with elementary knowledge you can be close to trucks( remember this is not a joke business, it could be very dangerous)and start getting your skills and road training... You will be going to the yard in East Dundee where the real sharks will be waiting for you to help you to get your license and train you to be pro... Those guys are the best people in the world... You have great instructors there: Zigi, Mark, Macek, Kevin and Dough... They will help you alot and their main focus is to get you ready for cdl and nothing else and they are very professional people with life experience they can teach you everything because they are very good guys with a big heart...The only one reason for those guys to be there: is to make you a pro driver and get your cdl and they will fight for you and for any student no matter what... I have to thank each and everyone for really hard work they put in my classes to help me to get my cdl... They care about student, bottom line!! Thanks again Zigi, Mark, Macek, Kevin you are the best!! Sorry if i forgot any other instructors names i got my cdl a month and a half ago:)... I have to mention administration people, Spansek( i may have said that wrong) and Camila the best lady ever... Finally I have to mention what one guy told me when i went to get my medical card.. He asked me from what school am I from? I said from wolf..He said that is the best school, good choice... I am very happy i was a student of this school because i know everything about pre trip inspections and incab and brakes test, parts and everything basic about trucks and trailer that we beginners should know... Thank you guys again for an amazing experience and for helping me alot to get my cdl and a headstart for my new career! God bless you Ivan Simic....
