Negative experience: I did not recommend this place at all. I didn't learn anything and I wasted my time and money and I failed my parking test at the allied dock due to lack of practice. They taught it to me 2 days before the test that was very bad, students teaching other students and poorly maintained trucks and I found another school where I was taught properly and I passed my test. think twice: save your time and money, there are places that don't just care about your money. "Good luck"

Fantastic experience: I needed to attain my Class B license for my job so I reached out California Truck Driving School for help. I had done most of the work myself so I didn’t need to take the full course. They were very willing to accommodate my needs. Everyone was very friendly and supportive. I passed my test on my first try. I highly recommend using them as I will be referring my four other coworkers to go through them as well.

Fantastic experience: It's a lot of fun there.. so many people from all over .. and making a lot of friends.. a lot of good contacts for when you want to start a truck business or work together.. and AJ is so easy going.. he never gets mad about anything. They have a very unique program that makes it much easier to pass if you have any trouble. Three times I had problems with the computer system at DMV I could not test.. but Sabi was very patient and kept showing up with the truck. It's kind of like when you graduate from high school.. you're going to miss your friends .. I feel like continuing even after I got my Class A license.

Fantastic experience: Being new to the trucking industry, I didn't know what I was looking for. I visited a few schools around the bay area and I felt extremely out of place and lost. Most of the schools were just straight forward and seemed like they didn't have the time for you unless you had the money up front, along with the soonest start date a month to even 2 months later. When I finally reached California Trucking School in hayward, I was approached and greeted with a warm welcome. They didn't make me feel out of place and they were very informative about everything that was needed. One thing I did notice was that all the other schools were quite pushy on me signing up right on spot. But here they gave me information and made me feel like I can take my time on deciding on joining. From there I was able to start a few days after. The instructor are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. and in this school, it is encouraged to support and help each other out. not only did I pass and receive my class A. I've gain some friends who i know will be some day 1's in my new career field! p.s. If you do join, (this goes with everything in life) don't be afraid to ask questions! Thanks again everyone at California Trucking! I appreciate everything you guys help me with!

Fantastic experience: I didn't know what to expect from this school but all I can say is a good school. In my personal situation I was able to pick up the skills training and learning how to drive shift stick pretty quick but from what I hear in average it takes about 1 1/2 month to finish maybe more. But overall this is a good school. They provide you with tools to succeed on your test, mainly trucks to practice with in decent condition. But the one thing I take away the most is how patient they are yo teach you, you don't feel rush, at least I didn't. Lastly just some tips, take your time to study the pre trip. Once you get all 3 skills after a couple tries doing it perfectly, it will become second nature. But the pre trip takes a bit longer to learn fully. Slow down AND STAY UNDER THE SPEED LIMIT AT ALL TIMES

Fantastic experience: One of the good truck school in California the location is the perfect for everyone who lives in Bay area and the team is so good. They give u everything what they have if u ask and keep learning. Never hesitate to ask any unknown thing like a question or a part of truck. Usually you will be ready for exam within 2 weeks but it depends on u. I passed the exam after 9days which means everything is depends on u how u learn. If u make a mistake while driving or inspection ask what and how to correct your mistakes.

It took me one month to get my license and if you come more and train you can even get faster than me. All the trucks are manual so it’s an advantage for you learning how to drive stick.
