Fantastic experience: DDA is great and Terry is the best! My son went in just for the drivers license test, and Terry put him at ease right away. She is very good with teenagers! This is a much better expereince than the DMV!

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with the team, from booking the test till the actual test. My Instructor and Accessor both were pretty cool calm and composed. Listened to me and replied politely whenever I had the question or needed some insight. All in all, the best place to learn and test.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with DDA yesterday where I took parallel parking lesson and then the Drivers test. The instructor Lisa D was so friendly and really helped me calm my nerves. Throughout the test she was so friendly giving suggestions and talking me like a Friend. She really want to help the drivers learn how to safely drive. I highly recommend all to take the practice lessons and test here.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend learning with Defensive Driving Academy if you are new to driving. My coach Denise Kennedy was very patient, kind, and knowledgeable and helped me become more confident in my driving abilities. My examiner was Lisa. She was very friendly and calm and made me feel at ease during the test. Overall, I had a great experience.

Negative experience: So some of the drivers are great.They were pleasant and kind. But not Sean Hickey. He was mean the entire lesson. Inappropriate, and racist. He asked for a picture of my permit before the lesson which isn't something that was normally done. I felt judged the moment I entered the vehicle. The lesson was going great. But I made one mistake and he began giving me ultimatums. I even hinted that i never had this problem with other drivers, why you? I would give this place a 5 star review if that racist man, Sean Hickey did not work there.

Fantastic experience: My daughter just completed her training with Sean Hickey of DDA and it was an excellent experience. Sean does a great job of making new drivers feel comfortable while teaching the essentials of driving along with plenty of tips and tricks. And he is a wizard at teaching parallel parking. I highly recommend DDA!

Fantastic experience: My daughter worked w/ Denise Kennedy the entire 20 hours and she was fantastic - calm, cool, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. My daughter really enjoyed her 2-hr drives with Denise. I was assured knowing she was getting professional instruction and hearing about those important life lessons from someone other than her parents. Great experience overall, very happy - we'll be using again when our younger daughter is ready! And hopefully Denise is still instructing!

Fantastic experience: Sean Hickey was my son's instructor. He did a fantastic job at teaching all the important driving skills with patience. My son said that Sean made lessons very comfortable for him. He would also submit report card at the end of each session to help my son know what he needed to practice on his own. I would highly recommend Sean and DDA.

Fantastic experience: Amazing Experience! The coaches are very helpful and accommodating. I worked with TJ, Terry and Greg. I can say they all are great. Having never driven before, TJ did an amazing job getting me comfortable with overall driving and not being scared of high speeds. Terry was so friendly and patient with me constantly helping and encouraging. Greg was very honest with me providing all the constructive feedback and making sure I don’t make silly mistakes. Their portal makes the whole experience very smooth and easy. Will definitely recommend their services.

Ms. Denise was very friendly and I was able to take the lesson with fun. She also taught me the tips of driving clearly. There was no need to be nervous. It was expensive for me, but it was well worth the money for this lesson! I am very grateful!!

We loved how they would pick him up at home and drop him off when they were done. It was so convenient to be able to test close to home at the Auto Lenders. Fantastic experience: This is a course that I would highly recommend to anyone who is serious about learning to drive. The instructors--Greg, Joyce and Ciara--were all excellent. They were very patient and gently guided me back on path whenever I wasn't sure. They helped me to become a more confident driver. I worked with Greg the most so I know him the best. Greg's encouragement and words of motivation removed my anxiety and fear so when it came time to take the driving test I was eager to take it head on. I am greatly indebted for the help and think the money we spent on this course was worth every penny.

They taught him how to parallel park very easily and not having to deal with the intimidating DMV was worth it for me!

Fantastic experience: Jessica was our instructor for 3 out of the 4 lessons. She is amazingly patient and thorough. Our 16 year old had no problems passing the test.

Sean was an amazing instructor for my son and took the extra step to help us schedule his lessons and his final exam. I thought the lessons were informative and enjoyed receiving a " report " card so that we can see what he needed to practice. The convenience of picking the student home and dropping them off after is well worth it. Two Thumbs up!!!

Fantastic experience: Mr. Hickey was our driving instructor and he was great. I've had my daughter out for over 50 hours of driving when we signed her up for the 6hr's of driver training and the unlimited online instruction. It was a package deal that was available in the spring of 2023. You need both to get an insurance discount. Mr. Hickey did a great job putting the finishing touches on her driving experience and worked with us to make sure he did all 6 hrs and also gave her a lot of great tips on parallel parking and how the Frazer DMV runs their tests. She found her time on the road with Mr. Hickey to be very informative and helpful. I recommend this to any driver needing a some extra insights and parents needing that insurance discount!

Fantastic experience: Son #1 had a great experience so had Son #2 do the same program. Both sons went through 3 sessions with Defensive Driving Academy and took the test through them. Great experience all around! Son #2 had Denise Kennedy and Sean H as his instructors and learned from both of them. They gave him great guidance on stopping distances, managing speed, merging, and hand placement for full control on turns ! While it was still on the parents to give the boys the driving hours, the pointers and polish that DDA gives does make a difference in the quality and safety their driving. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Defensive Driving Academy makes teaching your child to drive so much less stressful. It is so easy to book online, schedule your sessions and choose your instructor. My child had Sean M. for the behind the wheel lessons and he gave great feedback. The report card is great for parents to know what to work on. Mike M. was the instructor for the road test session and made sure my child was absolutely ready so she could pass with ease. Both instructors were friendly and made my child comfortable and confident. Super convenient to have the driving test at their facility, so much faster than the DMV! Highly recommend!

Scheduling her final session, that included the actual driving test, reduced a lot of stress for us parents!

He did all the things that I didn't want to do with my daughter - parallel park, highway driving, etc. On top of that, he was so flexible. He would pick her up and drop her wherever it worked for us - school, home, Auto Lenders, wherever it was convenient. Our daughter was totally confident and prepared for her test. Fantastic experience: In general they were all very nice and made the environment happy and positive. Told my son what to do at all times and instructed wonderfully. Mark was terrific. Joyce is also a terrific instructor. She made my son feel comfortable and started with joking with him that broke the tension, and he took to her very well. Also making him calm during the instruction. Lisa was the test examiner and she was so joyous and made my son feel calm and not nervous. This really helped. Terrific experience.

Joe my instructor was absolutely patient and his pointers helped me ace the parallel parking (dont forget to ask for Joe when booking a lesson) thanks to him I passed my driving test today. The lady who tested me was VERY professional yet had a calm demeanor which put all my nerves to ease. I highly recommend DDA Exton. Adrian!!!

Fantastic experience: We chose Defensive Driving after our older son took lessons elsewhere that were not that great. We were very happy with the lessons our second son received through DDA. They came to our house to pick up and drop off for lessons, were always polite, offere a "report card" online after each lesson, and finished the last lesson with the test....which he passed! Worth the money!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with DDA thanks in large part to three wonderful instructors I was paired up with: Lisa D, Doris and Denise. They were all very patient, personable and made the whole learning experience an absolute breeze. I considered knocking down a few stars because there is a wholly incompetent assistant manager at DDA who was absolutely awful and unhelpful through e-mail communication, but the instructors made up for it, so I'm giving it 5 stars. Totally recommended.

Fantastic experience: Defensive Driving Academy makes teaching your child to drive so much easier and less stressful. The sessions are scheduled on-line and you can choose your instructor.
