Fantastic experience: I recently completed my driving lessons with YURA and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the very first lesson, YURA was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and supportive. He made sure to explain everything clearly and provided practical tips that were easy to understand and apply. What stood out the most was ability to create a calm and encouraging learning environment. He was always punctual and professional. I felt confident and well-prepared for my driving test.

Negative experience: I had a bad experience with a driving instructor that changed my way or driver and I have super bad anxiety taking a driving text now or something even just driving in general It’s super expensive to and I would honestly just do 911 they are way cheaper and don’t require a test at the end plus they are not flexible and what not. Pls do 911!!!

Negative experience: I had all my drive classes done here but on the day of my test the instructor intentionally failed me saying I made many mistakes . Some of your instructors are just being rude to students. I regret going there

Positive experience: Defensive Driving School is a very welcoming environment for anyone wanting to learn how to drive. Any questions you have are paid attention to and there’s plenty of interaction in the session to keep people engaged. The one problem I had was when a group of kids kept making jokes during the lesson. This on its own is fine but the group often got loud, cut into the session’s limited time, and were only warned once (which didn’t stop them from making more noise). I do understand this has nothing to do with the school itself and would still recommend going here to have a better understanding of driving.

Fantastic experience: I recently transitioned from using an international driving license to obtaining a WA license, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience thanks to the exceptional support from the staff. Alena, in particular, deserves special recognition for her outstanding support, assistance and expertise. Despite having over a decade of driving experience, the team made the process significantly smoother compared to my previous test in Europe. I highly recommend their services for anyone seeking a seamless transition to a new license.

Negative experience: This company is a bonafide scam!!! They will Fail for one wrong move, then keep recharging you $90 dollars each time to retake. Limitless retakes. This bogus company a money grab.. take your kids to the actual dmv, they dont just fail a kid for 1 wrong move.

Negative experience: I only give the Lakes Stevens location 2 stars. The instructor that gave my son his on road test was not a nice person. She was snarky, didn’t tell him the instructions until after he was told what he did wrong ie: told him to park as leaving car unattended which he did after the fact she told him he didn’t park the car correctly on a “simulated” hill. He would have done just fine if was told doing a simulated parking on a hill. Then after the test was over she had the nerve to tell him to drink coffee so wouldn’t be tired and be more alert. She also kept telling him to maintain speed when there were no speed signs to know what speed to go but in a tone that is unacceptable. Also, I disagree taking a new driver to do the most stupidest aroundabout in Lakes Stevens on Hwy 9. If you must test a new driver to use a roundabout do one that’s actually common sense not the one that has back to back roundabouts. He will definitely not be coming back! We will go to the one in Marysville. The one in Marysville is excellent. Instructors are nice, compassionate and very helpful. They actually care and give positive feedback.

Fantastic experience: Attending the Lake Stevens driver's education class was one of my best experiences. I'm glad I went in person to learn more about driving and the rules of the road. I believe I learned the most during this curriculum, and my instructor, Joe, was very helpful in teaching and giving us lessons. He shared his experiences on the road, which made the class more engaging. In my opinion, Joe was a great fit for me and for many other teenagers. He taught us very well, and I feel confident about my driving skills after completing the class.

I just finished my driving corse today and everything was so easy and went smoothly the last few months. Fantastic experience: I like this school because it not only gives you the opportunity to be a better driver but also to have social communication with one and another and one of the staff members that have been helpful with both of those things is Julie because she not only is funny, but she's kind, generous with information, and always willing to help us out if we don't understand a task or question that needs an answer. so that's why I like this school and I hope that for when future people who learn how to drive they can experience the same thing that I did in a positive way. also Julie is one of the most hard working instructors that I have ever seen and I hope she can continue that and make the rest of my weeks at DDS special and not so hard to complete.

Fantastic experience: Currently enrolled in the online class and I could not be more pleased, definitely not regretting the decision to do them despite the fact I'm 19 and could've taken the technically gotten my license without them. Jason, the instructor, is very engaging and it's easy to tell he enjoys what he's doing and has fun with the class! It makes learning so much easier, and I'm feeling miles better about the whole process. Could not have asked for a better experience!
