Fantastic experience: I want to thank everyone in Golden Pacific that went out of their way to help my spouse conquer her dream career and pushed her to pass absolutely everything on her first try from the written exams to behind the wheel! Words cannot express the gratitude and excitement this brought within our household We spent days trying to figure out together from what school best suited her to attend, to which pricing was most relevant to our finances, in which she eventually landed on Golden Pacific. Instructors were very helpful to her and eventually the entire course became self paced. Best trucking school in all of Bakersfield CA hands down! Time to get this shmoneyy!! :D

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this school if you’re looking to obtain your CDL. Alex, Erik and Ron are all three very professional and knowledgeable in what they do. It’s set up so you can work at your own pace. Some students had been there for a while due to having work schedules that they fit in with schooling and some students fly right through it making the schooling their number one priority. It’s set up to suit each individual and their specific schedule and needs. You’d be hard pressed to find a school that could compare to Golden Pacific when it comes to professionalism, flexibility, knowledgeable instructors at a very reasonable price. It was one month and thirteen day from start to finish for me, I passed all tests on my first try. A big thanks to Alex, Erik and Ron.

Fantastic experience: Before I say anything I just want to say thank you to my guys Alex, Eric, and Ron. I 100% recommend this school, best CDL school in bakersfield. There’s other schools out there but they don’t beat golden pacific. The instructors are very involved with the students and definitely let the students be hands on with driving the school semis to fresno to test/practice. You get more experience with golden pacific especially because they allow for you to drive to your test. So if you guys are planning to get your CDL license, this is the perfect school to go to!

My daughter and I both graduated from here and it's the best place to start your new career. My daughter is out here killing it While im still trying to get the experience I need to join her team. Just word from the wise once you graduate be very picky about where you go to make sure you get your driving experience and make sure there's no b.s involved. This is my current situation right now but just trying to get the experience I need in order to move forward. I keep hearing the first year is hell but, once you find your spot you should be fine and you either have to be a fresh grad. Or 3 months experience. I will say visited several other Truck Driving Schools that I will not mention that just was not a good fit. Upon visiting Golden Pacific Truck Driving School and speaking to Alex, I knew I was at the right place. Cee Jay, Ron and Tom who is there on Saturday's are awesome. They take the time to explain and go above and beyond in my opinion to help you understand and of course get your CDL. Yes you will have to put in the work and study. Fantastic experience: CDL testing was a humbling experience (don't we all love going to the DMV?), but thanks to the training I received from Alex, Ron and CJ at Golden Pacific, I was able to earn my Class A Commercial driver's license! Fantastic experience: As a female my concern was being treated different or harassed, but my experienced was in-fact the opposite. They were always respectful and professional and all the students were the same, i didn't have a negative experience. Ron, Cee jay, and Alex were great at instructing; They each had their own way of doing things and it really gives you different perspectives. Most of the learning is left to the student, so it is at the pace that you want it to be and its depending how fast you can learn the maneuvers. Try to talk to your class mates sometimes they have techniques that work for them that might work for you. Alex does work with you and your schedule, i was working two jobs while attending and it took me longer than 6 months to pass the CDL exam, because i had to leave the country for a whole month due to an emergency and Alex worked with me and allowed me to come back and pick up were i left off. My advice learn the entire inspection on your first week and start you backing on week 2 so you give yourself as much time as possible to practice the maneuvers. It is a small school and they only have 3 trucks expect to wait 30 min - 45min to get a turn driving its something that you will have to do in any small school you go to, so be prepared to spend at-least 5-6 hrs daily if you need the practice the more time you spend the more practice you will get. definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Honestly one of the best schools out here from Fresno to Bakersfield area and I say this because I really did my research after quitting from some other school I attended, so much so that I came across this school only to find out a few of my friends graduated from here. I live 1 hour away from the school and it was night and day compare to the other school. well worth the drive, mainly because of the instructors Alex, cj, and Ron they’re honestly really great instructors. They do take the time to help you, and you will never hear them get frustrad or raise there voice or get you in trouble if you just can’t get a maneuver/pretrip/drive or air breaks they will keep helping you untill you understand it. They have so much patience even when your grinding gears, they instruct you how to do it instead of yelling at you, we’re already nervous as it is so that’s a really good thing I have so much more to say but I seen friends already covered the rest of the things on here. I highly recommended this school!!! It took me 8 weeks to finish but I think I was ready in 7 weeks in. With that being said don’t make the same costly mistake I did and choose the right school choose golden pacific truck driving school.

I came in to this school not knowing ANYTHING about trucks and even less about driving manual vehicles. They break everything down and make sure you understand the concepts and basics of truck driving. I was sent here by my job to get my Class A and this school did everything they needed to do to prep me and make sure I would pass the DMV exam on my first try and I did just that. Alex is very very knowledgeable with many years of experience of trucking knowledge that he can help you along the way. David and Ron are also so professional, considerate and work hard to get you where you need to be. I was in the school for about 8 weeks. My test date originally was in June but I felt that I was more than ready and asked Alex if he can move it up and he did! He was able to schedule it a full month sooner than expected in May and I passed. Negative experience: I payed for my school up front cash but Didn’t have time to finish my school on time due to a family emergency. When I called to see if I can extend they said no that I would have to pay the full amount again. Hasn’t even been a year since I payed please be aware and don’t get scammed by these guys like me.

The first day I went to gather information, Alex greeted me in such a way that made my insecurities about deciding to choose this route for a career just vanish. I was also introduced to Danny and Ron who are also instructors at this school. I have nothing but gratitude to these three gentlemen who pave the road (pun intended) for myself and other new students to be able to get the hands-on training needed to be both successful and efficient in this industry. I also want to take the time to talk about the students here. Everyone I encountered was SUPER friendly. During class, of course we cracked jokes and made fun of each other. I feel like that’s natural in the type of setting were all in. However, the important part was when it came down to business absolutely everyone pulled together everyday to try and help one another to accomplish the one goal we had and the reason why we choose this school. We all wanted a better career with better pay whether its for our own luxurious lifestyle or whether you’re like myself just trying to provide for their loving family. Ultimately, Golden Pacific Truck driving school was able to provide that for myself and tons of others that have gone into the industry. You come in on the days you're free and study everything on the papers they give you and don't be afraid to ask questions about anything. You get lots of practice on the skills tests and when you're getting closer to your testing date, you get to practice on the road. They give you the opportunity to check out the Dmv Testing site in Fresno if you want to, and they let you drive up there and back. I memorized, I practiced, I took any opportunities on the road and checked out the testing site to see what to expect, and I Passed my CDL Test recently on Sept 28th on my first attempt and I started school in April. As well, they provided the instructions and tools needed to absolutely get you ready for the Commercial Truck Driving Test & skills at the DMV. It is a self paced class setting {{NO STRESS}} and you work, learn, and grow at your pace. Not only students from Kern County but Orange County, Bishop, and other places as well have come to this specific school to learn about Truck Driving and to earn their Class "A" Commercial Driving License. BOTTOM LINE: GREAT SCHOOL!!!!!

Fantastic experience: First and most I want to thank Alex and Ron for their help throughout this entire process. They are both really professional and have really good teaching techniques, let alone really patient. I’m a Los Angeles resident, therefore they made sure to setup a schedule that worked for me. That was huge for me. Plus I read the reviews online and they were all positive. Ron helped me out a lot on my skills and on the road driving as well. He’s really patient. Alex was really helpful and explained the entire pre trip inspection in detail. Along with the air brake test. Alex always walked around and asked everyone if they had any questions. Thanks to both of their help I was able to pass my CDL test on my first attempt on 8/18/20. I highly recommend Golden Pacific Truck School.
