Fantastic experience: Hands down the best driving school in CT. Passed my drivers test on my first try! Instructors (Corrie and Patricia) are so down to earth, patient and very friendly! 10/10 recommend A1 driving schoool to everyone who wants to learn and get a driver's license.

Negative experience: They tried to lie and say a yellow certificate from doing 8 hours was no longer valid. They kept trying to urge me to redo 8 hours with them. Turns out they lied! I contacted DMV and another driving school and they said that’s not true the yellow certificate was still valid it just is now electronic! And I got to take my road test and got my license last week with another driving school!

Fantastic experience: I have had lessons the past couple of weeks with Carlos and Patricia, both of them are excellent! Great at answering questions and lessening anxiety. My test is coming up rapidly and they were very accommodating getting me in and focusing on getting me ready for my test, and teaching me about my vehicle. The office staff is wonderful as well, can't say enough nice things!

David is an amazing instructor be it for the highway or non-highway driving — very precise, great advice, very patient and friendly. Carlos is great, very patient and kind; he has given me a solid foundation since my first lessons were with him. Also, the administrative lady (speaks Spanish too) who registered me was always very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The whole team is really wonderful! Don’t hesitate at all to go with this school.
