Wenatchee 911 Driving School

Negative experience: Would give 0 scam artist literally tricked me during the drive test to make me fail also instructor put me in multiple situations that almost caused an accident never go here on top of that he said I wasn't checking my blindspots but very time I did he was looking out the passenger window. Recently found out this place is a corrupt cop hideaway and after looking thru the records I noticed they primarily only allow teenage girls to pass what's going on there cops

Negative experience: The experience I got with my testing examiner is unbelievable for being tested. After he went through with that he’s not going to make any comments and he will talk about it at the end of the test I make a mistake in the beginning of the test ( I fully own all the mistakes I made) and he responds harshly with “So you didn’t even study with your test!”. I didn’t feel that that is a way of respect for a nervous person being tested. He also kept telling me over and over that I need to go into the left lane and I couldn’t because there was a car that kept speeding up. He wasn’t even looking when he kept telling me to get into the left lane and I told him there is a car that is coming down really fast and I can’t get over. Overall a traumatic experience and makes me scared to even try again. Again I own all of the mistakes and am not claiming that I did everything right as I know that I am still learning but being rude and making someone uncomfortable before the test really got started is unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: My daughter just finished driver's ed with this school and I was very impressed with how well they went over the content, how quickly the classes flew by, she was able to get all her drives in very easily without any hassle, they were easy to contact and get ahold of if I had a question regarding anything. I would definitely recommend this driving school to anyone looking to get their child into drivers ed!

Fantastic experience: My daughter and my son have completed drivers ed at the Okanogan 911 Driving School. Kristi and DJ were fantastic!! They were so easy to work with and happy to accommodate school and sports schedules. We had a great experience and I would recommend the Okanogan 911 Driving School 10 out of 10 times.

Positive experience: Communication via email could be better but otherwise drivers ed has been a positive experience for our son.

Fantastic experience: A decent schedule of classes. Our daughter came home fully understanding the course and told us it was clearly laid out. She passed each test the furst time. 911 Driving School provided the car for all of her driving times including her drive test! I would recommend 911 Driving School for your soon to be new driver too.

They encourage students to respect their parents perspective and guidance in the learning process and give excellent instruction. They also allow for parents to ride along on student drives. This helped me tremendously with communicating with my teen while in the passenger seat.

I have 6 kids and they went through different drivers education programs and the people and program in Okanogan has been exceptional!! They are so willing to work with us and are friendly, fun, professional and amazing!! Highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic experience: My son had very good experience at the school. He also enjoyed his driving experience with those instructors. He recently passed his written test and needs to do the driving portion next and he'll be done. He will be getting his license in October. I would recommend the school to other young people.

Fantastic experience: Our 15 year old finished up his driver's ed. class with 911 recently and we couldn't be more pleased with how it went. It was rigorous but he felt confident that he understands the "rues of the road". He even tells me how to drive now :). Thank you for having patient, yet direct instructors.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter has had a very positive experience with the Wenatchee 911 Driving School. The instructor is a retired police officer who brings real life experience to the classroom and relates well with the students. Phil is patient, gives constructive feedback, and has progressed our daughter at a pace that has struck a perfect balance between what she is ready for and pushes her to expand her abilities. We appreciate that she can take the writing test at the conclusion of the class as well as being able to do the driving test with them as well, when she is ready. Overall this is been a very positive experience for our daughter. I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: My twin boys learned a lot through the 911 Driving School. Mr. Francis and the rest of his team, are experienced and incredibly patient with the students. I feel very confident knowing that both my sons will make good decisions when heading out on the road thanks to the excellent instruction through the 911 School.

Fantastic experience: I loved how they have parents join the first session to learn what the philosophy is. It’s pretty cool what they are learning and the amazing tips my son comes home with. Thank you for teaching my son to drive defensively and safely! The cost of this program is inexpensive in relation to the hours and content they are learning.

There are no hidden fees or unnecessary pressure on kids to pass the first time. They work with them and make sure they are ready. I will definitely send friends and family here when looking for a driving school.

Negative experience: Was not contacted about late drives and failed the class without being told when I needed to complete a drive.

Fantastic experience: Took the course, and aced almost every test, just pay attention to the class. It was actually fairly easy and it's worth the money. Drive instructors are very nice so don't be afraid to ask questions, they are there to help, and I recommend going through this school. There's not many other options anyway but still. Wenatchee driving school really does care about the students and they give you cookies near the last day.

Fantastic experience: The 911 driving school was a great experience for my daughter. They offered the classes online which made it easier for her to attend classes and they had a flexible schedule for scheduling drives. This made it convenient for me as a working mom not to struggle with making time to get her to classes and drives. She was intimidated when she didn't pass a quiz or two but she kept moving forward in the class. The class really helped prepare my daughter for her tests. She passed her written and drive tests the first time and she was very excited.My daughter had a fear of driving but after completing the course and getting her license she is more confident and has become more willing to drive.

Fantastic experience: My experience with 911 driving school was very good. Everything was fairly simple and easy to understand. Both the instructors that I had were fun and made the class go by quickly. But they also kept the class in line, so we always stayed on topic and still learned while having a good laugh every once in a while. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone wanting to drive and thankyou to all the people that run this business.

Positive experience: During these difficult times (remote learning, masking, staff shortages, etc.) this was done quite well, including a couple of the instructors trying hard to deal properly/politely with their first trans student (given how rural we are, this is nice to see the effort, even with stumbles). There are some lag times in communication via email, which may be from either technology issues or shortage of staff (which is also a nationwide issue). We -- luckily -- have fairly good broadband internet, but of course the issue is much of the rural U.S. doesn't and this can be an issue for some students.

Fantastic experience: We had such a great experience with 911 Driving School. DJ and Kristie were awesome. They were friendly, knowledgeable, respectful and very accommodating. Any student would be lucky to go through this course. DJ came to our school 3 times a week and then we did our drives in Okanogan. He did a great job of making our son feel confident and safe. We would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a great drivers ed program. We also did a city drive in Wenatchee with Raphael. He too was incredible. He was funny, knowledgeable, and made our son feel at ease. He was great at relating to him and making his drive there a great experience. We are very appreciative for all you do! We have one more kid to put through drivers ed and we definitely be using 911 driving school again.

Positive experience: My twins took the online classes soon after the initial Covid shutdowns in 2020. Robert did a great job teaching the classes under the circumstances. We had a good experience with Robert and all of the driving instructors except Chris. Chris should not be the only option for the final driving exam. His demeanor and attitude toward teen drivers sucks and his teaching style is not appropriate in this setting. Kids are nervous enough as it is and it seems as if failing them is his goal.

Fantastic experience: It was tricky to figure out the whole start date VS registration VS birthdate flow chart but we got it eventually. Our student driver had a thorough and successful experience getting her essential drivers training through 911. It was easy enough for her to navigate the process on her own and she developed confidence and competence as the program progressed. She had to retake the drive test but I attribute that to her not having enough hours (50 minimum) behind the wheel as well as everything being covered in fresh snow!

Every parent loves having their own student "comment" on their own driving skills; HA! HA! But, yes, they do a good job to cover the bases. Also when pick up and drop off places and times change they were very flexible (due to covid rules). I am grateful.

Positive experience: They were just very open and they would tell me before a turn that I need to turn or they would create conversation to lighten the mood when I felt stressed. If your learning to drive go to that school it will be worth your time!

Fantastic experience: Great Instruction and SUPER easy to work with. They would probably not give me as good of a review as a customer. My 15 year old wasn't exactly on top of things, but they worked with him and got him through. He had a lot of current and former law enforcement teaching him, which was a big plus for me (My state trooper father taught me). He is an excellent driver, and there hasn't been many tips I try and give him that aren't followed by "Oh my instructor said that too!" Great school. Worked with Bob Francis down in Leavenworth and he really came through for my boy.
