Negative experience: THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS FOR EVALUATIONS! I have been sober for over a year since I received my DUI evaluation from NBK. I went to an accredited sober living facility for 9 months that I graduated from before going to court . Once I went to court I was required to get an evaluation done for me to get my driver license back. The evaluator suggested I do 17-52 weeks in a treatment program which the state looks at to determine eligibility for reinstatement on my drivers license and is required for probation. NBK got $125 for the evaluation then suggested I go to their treatment facility, which was the first one on the list. Mind you I’ve already done 9 months in treatment and over a year sober. This has to be the biggest racket. $125 for 30min. Then god knows how much for treatment. Run far away from NBK.

We understand the sensitivity of the issues discussed during drug and alcohol evaluations and strive to help all of our clients in an honest and ethical way. You are free to choose anyone from the list that you was provided in the event that you do decide to fulfill the recommendation. Also, as discussed, you are also welcome to request another drug and alcohol evaluation by another state approved clinical evaluator at your cost .

Negative experience: If you need an evaluation, do NOT go here. They will try and get every last dime out of you that they can. I did my evaluation with Dr. Clark, who was on his high horse apparently. He called me an idiot, yes verbatim. He made comments denoting my intelligence in other ways, such as mentioning that the national average for college GPAs is 3.8 (not true) when I informed him I had a 3.6. He is extremely rude, and given the fact he couldn't write on a sheet of paper what I was telling him and instead had a woman writing it down for him I don't see how he could have a clear enough mind to make the decision to further my class. I completed a month of rehab after my arrest, which was not taken into account. I was told I had to do 6 weeks of substance abuse class, simply because of the level of my BAC, when I have had no previous substance abuse issues and made sure I filled out on the sheet that I did not. Then he told me classes are $60 but he would "be nice" and I could take them for $35 since I was in college. But when I go to my first class the proctor mentions that it is $20, so where did $35 and $60 come from? The proctors themselves are nice and hold good classes, but if you have the time go ANYWHERE else. This place is a joke.
Good morning! If you have concerns with Atlanta Intervention Network, please feel free to call their office and discuss them. I am sure that staff would be happy to address any questions that you may have. Also, I am sorry that you did not agree with the results of your clinical evaluation but, as you know, there are a number of things to take into account. You also have the option to request a second clinical evaluation from a certified Clinical Evaluator of your choosing for a nominal fee. If you do not agree with the initial findings, I would suggest this as another option!

Negative experience: Extremely horrible experience this company kept stealing my money, sending me faulty, zoom links, and threatening me and just all out unprofessional. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a company in my life I suggest you don’t use this company unless you enjoy stuff like that happening to you
Anthony I’m sorry that you feel that your experience was horrible. Just a couple quick things, the rules of the program do not allow you to work while in class. The rules also require that you participate and complete your own assignments. We offered to have you come into our office for class so that we could assist you and you refused. Again, I’m sorry that we couldn’t bend the rules for you! Thanks

Fantastic experience: I had no idea what might help me or hurt me through it all, while going in not being interested, not caring about the consequences and repercussions that would leave me grounded unless I took the steps to prove to myself and others, I was determined to take the class while learning a hard lesson that not only alcohol,street drugs or prescription drugs would and can change your life in an instant! My instructor was much more than I expected, if I left her class like I went in, unsure, it would be my own fault because I can assure anyone that going in with doubt isn't the way you would come out! She was that good! If so, it would be your own fault with no concern for the lives of innocent individuals, yours as well and the pain that your loved ones would be left with, a lifetime without you for selfish reasons only thinking of your next high and getting on the road in no condition to be driving! As for myself.. the time, the money,the fear, and the class in general I would have to take to drive legally once again after over a year by being educated on the day that took place and pretty much put my life as I knew it, on hold for over a year until I was finally financially able to take the 3 day virtual class, what a blessing it was being offered and well educated very well by my instructor Tosh, it has forever changed my life by helping me make sense out of it all, learning a huge lesson of what could happen in the event of my way of thinking, and I'm so thankful I learned so much from it and the state of Georgia forced me that I would be shown that lesson, and as for what it cost me was well worth the time, the money and the knowledge I gained from it all was a blessing, once again, my instructor impressed me so much and taught me that there is a life changing story worth telling.
