Negative experience: Hello Rusty’s Driving School. I had an appointment today with a Driver instructor named Scott and it was the worst experience I ever had, he showed up 15 minutes late and he kept taking phone calls saying it was important family matters I guess issues related to his wife and daughter so I don’t know if that triggered him being rude to me because of his behavior but it was really upsetting to me that I couldn’t even continue the lesson because he was so rude and blamed his actions on me which is completely unfair because I have nothing to do with issues that happens is someone’s personal life. Driving is already anxiety filled as it is and the last thing new drivers need is an instructor belittling them, it’s not a good look for the company. I had so much hope for today’s lesson but this has been the worst experience ever. I have never experienced in my life an instructor so mean before and therefore I will not be doing business here anymore. I felt the need to leave a review because whatever personal issues someone is dealing with, professionally you have to put that aside because no one deserves to be treated or belittled by a person that is in a position to help them.

Dennis returned my messages very quickly, explained everything we needed to do to get started and took care of all the paperwork, including scheduling my son's driver's test once he turns 17. He was very easy to schedule with and my son has a crazy schedule. He had my son drive to all the places that he goes regularly, like school, sports complexes, etc and explained to him and us how to go about the learning/teaching to drive process so my son would be comfortable and relaxed. My son is now super excited to drive and wants to drive everywhere! I would highly recommend Rusty's!

He made it very easy to schedule our son CJ’s hours behind the wheel. CJ came home after each lesson confident and excited about driving! Negative experience: This school allows their driving instructors to let 15 year olds drive illegally so they can immediately obtain their permits the second they turn 16.

Fantastic experience: We just finished with Rusty's Driving School for our 3rd child (the person we used for our other two retired; and while he was good, this experience was clearly a complete step above). From the moment I contacted them, the service and communication was professional and exceptional. Right out of the gate, I was called back and then received written follow-up communication. All correspondences were timely and clear - we always knew what we needed to do and when. Jim was a wonderful first driving instructor for my son (who I have to admit said he was terrified the night before his first lesson - which was after practice, so in the dark, which did not help). However, he went from that to "I did amazing" after his first lesson. And while I am sure he did NOT do amazing, the fact that his confidence level so dramatically increased, was definitely a result of his instructor Jim (so a BIG THANK YOU). The second two lessons went equally as well; and my husband and I thoroughly appreciate the time and effort Jim took to review everything with us at the end of lesson #3. I cannot recommend this company and especially our instructor Jim enough. Thank you, Will's Parents.

Fantastic experience: Jean Collado was my instructor for my 6 hours. He was very nice and patient, it was my first time behind the wheel on a main road and freeway and he guided me the whole way. I felt safe and relaxed. I now have my permit and am very thankful! 10/10.

Jim Baldi was my instructor he was fantastic at giving helpful pointers, reminding me on time when I made a mistake allowing me to adjust, and he didn't yell or overcorrect me. If your looking for a place to help train your kids for there test or need a little practice yourself this is a great place to go.

Crowell is a great teacher, as not only is he calm, experienced, and sharp-eyed for mistakes, but he is also great to talk to, and I have had many great conversations with him while attending classes. once even bought breakfast for me during driving sessions! Fantastic experience: Jean Collado was my instructor and he was chill and did a good job of teaching me the basics of driving! I hadn’t even had the basic parking lot experience (like most people do with their parents) and it still went smoothly.

Fantastic experience: We have used Rusty's for all three of our boys now. The oldest is 27 and the youngest is 16 so basically for 11 years. The quality of the instructors is top notch. Mr. Baldi made my boys feel so confident and comfortable behind the wheel, even my youngest who is on the autism spectrum. I cannot say enough good things about this company and its instructors.

Fantastic experience: We had Jim Baldi as our driving instructor. My daughter felt extremely comfortable in the car with him. He was easy to talk to and she said she was going to miss driving with him! She definitely learned a lot and she drove me for the first time today and did great.

Fantastic experience: Took lessons with Jean Collado and can’t recommend him and this driving school enough! As someone who left learning to drive way too late Jean made the journey to passing my test first time so easy! I felt confident every time I was behind the wheel with him and his patience to repeat steps and practice parking was greatly appreciated! They take you to the test centre itself to practice the test route as well as taking you on trickier roads to help build your confidence. I took my test in Rusty’s Driving Schools car to meet the vehicle requirements and it made the test so much less nerve wracking taking it in the car I was familiar with! Thank you guys for helping me get on the road!!

First and foremost having a school teacher as an instructor is a huge bonus. Jean knows how to talk to, teach and relate to kids. He has a wonderful, calming personality. He covered everything they need to learn on the road, not just to pass the road test but also how to drive properly and safely. I believe Jean has taught most of the kids in our neighborhood and there is a reason this driving school is the most popular! We could not have done this without him. Fantastic experience: Getting my 6 hours with this school was a breeze for me. I had been driving for a while already when I started my lessons with Tom Cromwell about two months ago. I was a relatively good driver then, however Tom was able to identify areas where I could improve, which really helped me refine my driving skills and gain confidence. I later on passed my driving test with flying colors. Tom is a very enthusiastic and personable instructor, and one that you can look forward to doing lessons with. Big thanks to him and Rusty’s Driving School for making me a better driver!
