Fantastic experience: We are so happy to have chosen RVA driving academy for our son’s behind the wheel. Julie was great to work with, and she taught my son many important skills that he will need to get on the road once he gets his license. I was happily surprised that he can now back into a parking space and parallel park with ease. Julie holds her students accountable and was very clear on where he needs to keep growing. This is a great choice to help your students to feel confident about driving safely.

Fantastic experience: Do not hesitate using RVA Driving Academy. After a horrible experience with another local driving school of charging but not performing services, I made the call to RVA DA. Such nice people, easy to schedule behind the wheel. The instructor Matt Crenshaw arrived in a new model clean car. Matt was great! Professional and on time. For the driving student this can be a stressful experience but my daughter said Coach Crenshaw made it fun and relaxing all while learning. We will be back again in two years for our youngest.

Fantastic experience: As the parent of a young adult on the spectrum, I can’t say enough good things about RVA Driving Academy. We had considered early on that our daughter simply might not be able to obtain her license. Julie and her team went above and beyond with their patient and direct way of instruction, instilling confidence along the way. Over time this set our daughter up for success and she has now passed the test and only has to present the completed form to the DMV and get her license!

Fantastic experience: I had such a positive experience with this program and really learned a lot about operating a motor vehicle and being a safe driver. My instructor Janet Miller was very nice and helped me become the driver I am now. I am forever grateful to her and this program.

She's very laid back and chill which made my driving experience a lot of fun. From singing along to the radio or getting to connect on a personal level, you will love your time at RVA Driving Academy. They are very accommodating and will ensure you learn as much as possible during the course. I learned lots of new tips and tricks, and feel overall more prepared and confident on the road. Fantastic experience: I worked with Chuck Evans and thanks to his instruction, I gained a lot more confidence on the road. He was very patient and easy to talk to. I highly recommend his instruction for anyone learning to drive and needing a boost of confidence, as he recognized my strengths and helped me improve my weaknesses. He never harshly scolded me if I made a mistake and instead gently voiced what was wrong and what I needed to fix. Overall, it was a very good experience and now my only obstacle to getting a license is the line at the DMV.

The owner Julie was very helpful in helping us to get our son’s behind the wheel training finished, accommodating his schedule. It might be hard to get a hold of somebody sometimes, but they will always get back to you, and when they do, they are wonderfully helpful.

Scheduling was convenient and accommodated our schedule and location. Having used a different company for an older child, I can make a valid comparison and can attest that RVA was much easier to deal with and handled everything much better. Five stars.
