We provide: *CDL (class A) Tractor-Trailer. *CDL (class B-P/S) Passenger or School bus. *(class M) Motorcycle/Scooter. *(class D) Car Since 2014.
Simulator and 3 10-speed Manual & 2 Automatic tractor-trailer the same year, brand, and model of tractor-trailer for training, provides trainees with an easier and concentrated practice in the training yard, successfully completed training in a short period of.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my CDL Class A Road Test, and I owe it all to J&S! Coming in with no prior experience driving trucks—or even using a manual stick shift—I’m thrilled to say I’m now confident in both. My trainer, Joe, was exceptional. As a highly skilled driver with a certified instructor’s license, he guided me step by step from beginner to advanced skills. Joe’s teaching methods were clear, thorough, and incredibly effective. He provided exclusive pre-trip inspection materials, which were invaluable in helping me understand and master the pre-trip portion of the DMV CDL Road Test. Joe also trained me on pre-trip inspections, backing, offside parking, parallel parking, and driving a manual transmission. His patience and expertise made all the difference. For anyone considering J&S, I highly recommend investing in their most comprehensive package if you’re new to trucking. Take your time and don’t rush—driving trucks is a significant responsibility. I started my courses in late August and just passed my road test in full, thanks to their excellent training. The office staff is there to help. They are friendly and work with you to get a schedule to works for you. The office was so amazing, they were able to get my rpad test appointment on my day off from work, which can be a difficult task as the dmv provodes the schedules on their own without giving you the option. A quick note: the actual driving school is at a different location from their office, but it’s conveniently located next to the Q25 MTA bus line, which you can access from Flushing Main Street Station. Thank you to the amazing office staff and instructors at J&S for helping me achieve this milestone!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at this driving school, and I highly recommend it! After a frustrating time with another school in Brooklyn called US Mule, where they partnered with a third party for the road test and seemed to fail me twice for no reason just to push more fees, I was hesitant. But a friend suggested I try this school, and I’m so glad I did. I took two lessons with Jacky and two with Joe – both were exceptional instructors. They were patient, clear, and helped me feel confident behind the wheel and I passed my road test after the first try. The office staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole process easy and stress-free. Unlike my previous experience, this school truly cares about their students and goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. I can't thank them enough! If you're looking for a driving school, especially with professional Asian instructors, this is the one to go to. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: This a great school, from the first time i step in to the office to when I pass the road test, nothing but professional. In a short time and only few lessons I was able to pass the road test. the office arrange all the schedule it is very flexible from changes cancellation to exam schedule. All phone call was answer on time, all text message was reply promptly.They are very serious and they will let you know if you ready or not for the exam which is great because they want you to do well on the exam. Overall I recommend this school.

Fantastic experience: This is my second time learning at this driving school. This time, the instructor had an excellent attitude, was very friendly, and created a stress-free environment. Everything was great. For future students, I recommend paying close attention to the actual train track crossing if you choose to take the test in Long Island. There are no real train tracks around the driving school, so encountering them during the test can be quite unexpected. Please remember this.

Fantastic experience: I passed my CDL-B road test today. My instructor Joe proved to be a true professional in this business. In 8 hours, he managed to prepare me to pass the exam easily. If you follow his training instructions, success is guaranteed. It is easy to work with him and enjoy while he teaches you. Negative experience: Trash school SAVE YOUR MONEY ! Go elsewhere even if it cost is greater economically these people will cost you your time which is much worse. In my experience they are not clear in explaining what the step are to get your cdl class B - they will bring you in to do ELDT then tell you they don’t have class b vehicle. They will also not tell you that even when you complete the eldt they offer which is passenger end- you do not have to execute the test with their school bus. Now inspection wise , teacher uses a heavy Chinese accent and always promote trustworthyness to influence and make you over look the fact you don’t understand him well. They will rush you through the class and not to mention he starts the class by asking you what you know instead of freaking teaching like I paid him too. They do not care about you getting your cdl at all- on time I couldn’t make it to a class they rushed me into and they said I still had to pay the teacher, this is not a school they are licensed con artist !
Last year when you called us asking about class b vehicle only, we told you we do not offer class b vehicle only. We offer class b with passenger and/or school bus endorsement since there would be more job opportunities available in the future. In February when you book the ELDT course for class b vehicle only with us. We explained to you that by just doing the online ELDT course required by FMCSA not us, doesn't mean that you can take the road test. FMCSA also requires that a certified driving school uploads your public road and range driving hours upon taking a road test. You choose not to believe us, so when your road test was canceled due to incomplete ELDT since you were missing public road and range driving. In April when you purchased 2 lessons and 1 road test with us. We gave you a passenger endorsement free of charge since we thought it would be a nice gesture. Before your transaction we warned you that only students who know how to drive a class b vehicle and just want to refresh their memory quickly book 2 lessons since it's too short of a time to learn everything. Which is why your instructor started your lesson off by asking you what you knew rather than start teaching you from the beginning since 2 hours is not enough. Even you were aware of that which is why after your first lesson you contacted us to schedule another lesson for you since you realized 2 hours wasn't enough and you need more lessons. When we scheduled you for another lesson, which you confirmed but never showed up, we didn't asked you to pay for it, instead we scheduled another lesson for you. So if that is us rushing you into taking lessons and being licensed con artists then I don't know what you consider to be a nice gesture. We have also taught hundreds of students in English with our accent, all of whom have successfully obtained their CDL, so maybe it's not our “heavy chinese accent” that is the issue. Instead it may just be that 4 hours is too short of time frame for you to fully comprehend everything that is being said. When someone tries to help you when you are in a tough situation and rather than appreciating and thanking them, you decide to engage in defamation. Then we really have nothing else to say.

The only negative is that you can get a slightly different truck for the exam - because of this, I suffered a little, but passed. And the owner of this school, Jackie, is generally a great person. He is always ready to help and solve any issues, even those related to the DMV

Negative experience: Dont recommend. Their focus only on money not on service. First they need to sort out their staff according to their attitude behavior and knowledge. So rude instructors especially ERIC. Dont don’t go. That is the biggest mistake in my life that i went there. Instructor namer ERIC doesnt give clue, way and direction points to teach and learn well. He doesnt give his efforts to students to get learned well manuevrs. When it comes to get money, they dont stop calling to students until they got money. Dont care about services.

We had a discussion with Eric and your other instructor about you and both of them said that you are a very smart intelligent individual. However being adroit does not imply that you always know what to do especially when it comes to driving a vehicle you are not familiar with. Eric claims that he gave you instructions and advice but you decided to go against it and tried to do things your own way claiming it was “too difficult”. When it comes to calling you regarding payments, we do not want to bother and call you nonstop either. However you leave us without any other options when we schedule the classes and road tests which you request and do not receive the payment by the time you agreed upon. We also never charge any extra fee when it comes to scheduling a faster or earlier lesson/road test unlike other schools so we do not understand why you claim that we are focused on money. Our only focus point is to ensure that you get your drivers license in the fastest and easiest way possible. In the future if you choose to learn with another school please follow the instructions you are given and to not try things your own way. In addition please pay by the time you have agreed upon. No one here at J&S or anywhere else wants you to waste your time and money.

Fantastic experience: My Instructor Pema Tsundu is a down to earth man.I have enjoyed learning from this awesome gentleman with lots of fun and healthy debate. He is very knowledgeable in this field however, the other two Instructors were unapproachable . I felt funny to see their egotistical behavior.

We are not “money hungry” we do not have any hidden fees. We simply cannot just exempt a student from a lesson on the day off without proof of a valid medical emergency. For example a positive PCR test with your name and date or proof that you are in the Emergency Room. We know things happen so we offer students the chance to cancel their lessons the day before by 4 p.m. free of charge. We cannot offer students the ability to cancel their lessons on the day off since we cannot find someone else to cover another students lesson time on such short notice since all of our lessons are 1:1. We explain all of this to students when they first register. As for our instructors being “impatient” they are trained professionals and do not get impatient. If they have repeatedly told a student something and the student decides to not listen and do things their own way the instructor will simply just not repeat it again. If you claim that we are “money hungry” and our instructors are “impatient” and “recommend this school to no one” why do students of ours recommend their family and friends to come to our school? Negative experience: Only focus on money, the trainer is not friendly. There is no good teaching method. Compared with the six-speed trucks of other schools, the high and low gear dual-clutch trucks are more difficult. Update: I took 20 lessons at your school and you have no records?! That’s ridiculous! Of course, it is easy to pass the test for six-speed trucks and after passing the test, there is free training at the truck company. Using your truck to learn and pass the test cost a lot of money! Once passed, there is still training from the truck company in order to get the job. One more thing you lied to me that Dmv doesn't accept road test for six speed trucks.

Since we cannot find your information in our database, we do not understand how you know whether our instructors are friendly or not. Regardless if you think our instructors do not treat you like a friend that is only because we want our students to save their money and time so they are taught to correct and point out students mistakes in a professional manner. The only reason they would ever become irritated is if they point and tell students how to fix their problems but they refuse to listen and continue to do things their own way. Update: We never said to you or anyone that the DMV does not allow six speed trucks to be used during road tests. The closest thing we said is: it will be hard to get a job if you only know how to drive a six-speed truck, because most companies when given the option would much rather hire and select a driver that knows how to drive a 10-13-18 speed truck. And yes, no matter how many hours you spend or learn at a driving school, trucking companies will still teach you. That is because Driving Schools only teach students how to drive safely and pass the road test. While on the other hand, trucking companies teaches drivers how to load and unload shipments in a timely manner, the routes, and ect. Lastly, we said you are not a student at our driving school because when we typed “Shai Li” in our database, zero matches were found. Fantastic experience: I don't usually give star or reviews and this is second time in my life writing which i had to, so here we go. Got my CDl license recently, Very help full staff always try to work out with my schedule and very help full with notifying me for my class and setting up road test and also even if it wasn't there job to remind me to update my Learning permit. they cared enough to call and reminded me. very very thankful for that. My Instructor was very patience and corrected my mistakes as needed and fully focusing on my time and my knowledge. without wasting any of my time and money. I will say he knows his job very well. very easy to understand his direction even tho english was not his first language. other Instructor were very nice and thank full to them even tho i didn't learn from them they care to give me tips on my Road test day. what to focus on and not to be nervous during my road test. If you listen and follow what the Instructor is teaching you definitely you will not be wasting your time and money at this school. but if you do what you want and don't listen to your instructor then its on you if you fail. If i can give 10 star i would give it to this school. Thank you.

Negative experience: I do not advise you to contact the instructor Jacky. He is arrogant and opinionated. He constantly praises himself that he has so many years of teaching experience. Every time reminding me saying "You're not qualified. You're not ready. You have to get my permission to take the road test. Don't even think about you can ruin my reputation." Yep! All words from his mouth is belittle others pushing you to the negative way. He scheduled a road test without informing me even he keep saying that I am not ready. Who knows I am ready or not. Anyway, I quitted the class and requested a refund at last. He refused to refund me, I can't even get back the $40 road test fee. This is a nightmare in this school.

I'm Jacky found your file in our database, and I can say with 100% certainty that I have never been your instructor or taught you anything. I don’t know where your opinions of me originated from, because you only scheduled 2 lessons which equal 4 hours, so there is no way I could’ve ever said anything along the lines of what you are implying, because I would’ve never had the time to say anything to you. However, it doesn’t matter whether it was me or any of my other instructors who told you that you were not ready to take the road test. Since at our Driving School our priority is to ensure that you, the DMV examiners, and others life won’t be in danger due to unsafe driving. I told you over the phone that I cannot provide you with a refund because you finished attending all your lessons, thus not meeting the refund requirements anymore. In addition the $40 was given to the DMV, if you would like it back you can contact and request a refund with the DMV. I want to share a little advice with you if you would like. No matter what driving school you go to and spend money to learn at, please listen to the instructors explanation patiently, and use the information provided by the instructors, you can spend less time and money that way. I believe that the instructors at any driving school hopes that everyone can become friends for more welcoming environment, and hopes that you can get your driver's license ASAP. It is not recommended that you have any conflict with any instructors at any driving school, since it will take a toll on your learning progress. No matter what I wish you the best of luck with continuing your education! (Note: In order to provide our students with an easier and shorter training time, we are the only driving school located in NYC with our own training yard and 3 manual tractor-trailer and 2 automatic tractor-trailers that are the same year, brand, and model, and the only driving school in NY with a simulator. In addition we also provide each student with a printed out copy of a pre-trip inspection written by us, tips and tricks on how to shift using RPM and MPH, and how to relieve leg pain when driving. As for clutches being "super heavy" it is because it is a 10-speed heavy-duty truck, manufactured without an assistant pump. But we also provide all students with tips on how to relieve leg fatigue.)
Negative experience: Worst driving school. I spent $4200 still didn’t get my cdl here. Every time I learn they assign different truck to me so it takes time for me to get used to it. And every time they assign a different teacher to me. All 3 of their trucks had super heavy clutch paddle, make your foot shake like crazy. They don’t even help you to schedule a road test saying you not ready yet. All they want is to make you fail and retake. I spoke to student there they average failed 3-4 times. 不要在这里浪费钱。

Fantastic experience: I’m very grateful with this school, the entire team is very professional, when I went to the school first time I really liked the place, front desk is very polite and attentive and they explained everything with enough time and details, in the process they were always pending of every detail, and if you ask for some lesson or any service they find the way to do it, I’m really satisfied, and recommend JO great instructor he teaches you the exact information to help you to pass the test. At the end they called from the office to congratulate me and additional information about my license. Great great school very recommended. Thank you guys
